A Rooftop in the City

"Can I be a hero, even if I don't have a quirk?" Midoriya asked All Might.

All Might thought for a moment, then faced Midoriya and said "I don't think so, our line of work is dangerous and I'm afraid you'd just get yourself hurt".

"I see" Midoriya said disappointingly.

All Might continued "If you really want to make a difference, how about joining the Police force, they get a lot of shit for taking in villains that heroes defeated, but it's a fine profession" and with that All Might turned back into his muscle form and jumped off into the distance, but not before saying "It's not bat to have dreams... but make sure they're realistic".

With All Might gone, Midoriya slowly walked home and when he did his mother greeted him warmly like she always does "Izuku, how are you sweetie?"

"Hi mum, I'm doing fine" Izuku did his best to sound happy buy Inko picked up on his sadness underneath, but decided to leave it be.

In his room, Izuku thought about what All Might said "I don't think so, our line of work is dangerous and I'm afraid you'd just get yourself hurt" he kept repeating those words in his head, being a hero was all he ever wanted ever since he was a toddler, even on that day

Flashback

"Sorry kid, it's not gonna happen" The Doctor said bluntly

Flashback End

That was the day Izuku found out he was quirkless, ever since then every one made fun of him for being quirkless, even his best friend Katsuki Bakugo started to bully him giving him the name 'Deku' which means worthless. But Izuku still pulled through until Bakugo threw away his notebook filled with notes for how to be a great hero, now he has nothing, no friends, no hopes and no dreams.

Later That Night

Izuku had prepared for this moment as soon as he'd gotten home, he already wrote a note to his mother explaining why he was about to do what he's about to do, it was because of the constant bullying, the insults, the beatings and the humiliation that he constantly received.

He stealthily left the place he calls home, and went to the same building that he had is chat with All Might on, then he jumped...

But much to his surprise, he didn't die, instead he was lying down in an alleyway, his body hurt like hell, but instead of going back up and trying again, Izuku just ran, he ran away and didn't look back, he must have run for hours when he finally collapsed and swiftly fell unconscious. There were fleeting gaps where he saw and heard things, like the rain falling around him, each drop echoing like the last one, until a blue haired man with pale skin looked down upon him and sighed.

"What do we have here?" The unknown man said in a raspy voice. With that, Izuku fell unconscious again.
