First there were two, and they kept a secret. Then there were four, and they did not keep it, but shared it with the first two. Then there was one, and he did not keep it, but shared it with another, and there were two. And so there were eight, and they kept the secret, until one declared it nonsense, and there were seven.

And then there were none.

And then there was one.
