There was no Hamuko.

There was only Nyx.

Nyx.

"NYX!" Minato shouted when he stepped in the distance with a haymaker thrown with intention to kill. Hamuko saw it coming and slipped the shot, retorting with her own strike that was blocked by Minato who pushed his forehead and screeched in her face, promising utter fucking hell for what she had done-

"Make me!" Hamuko shouted. "I defiled their graves! I shattered their bones! That sow is no more!"

Minato widened his eyes and screeched again, forcing the two to disengage when he connected with a wild overhand to the side of her head, pushing her backwards and making her yell at her minions to step in-

"Ugh!" Minato looked back as the zombies and shadows latched onto him, pulling him backwards, away from their goddess and the blunet snarled in hatred, immediately summoning a sword into his palm and swinging the weapon and severing the heads of whoever was in range. He blasted the rest backwards with a burst of darkness and exploded forward, towards Nyx who was waiting for him.

"This will not save you," she summoned a large sword into her grip and bolted much like him, repeatedly cursing his dead parents to rile him up some more. She wanted this, she wanted Minato to damage his beloved girlfriend so this battle would be the death of him, whether he won or lose.

The two clashed again, blade to blade, both of them yelling in utmost hatred and vengeance as the collision set off another shockwave, snapping their heads back briefly.

"Mother…" the gravestone flashed before Minato's eyes and he looked straight ahead, his eyes bloodied due to the bursting of vessels inside his head. He tightened the grip around his blade and looked her in the eye, the sight of Nyx crushing the skull of his mother overtaking every bit of the reason he had. "Mother!"

Hamuko backed and sidestepped his lunging charge, smashing her knee into his gut and Minato fired back with a punch to mask, immediately parrying the blade sent his way. He suffered a kick and jumped forward again, breaking into a run and lunging in yet again with a wild swing of his blade-

Hamuko married the blade and smirked behind the mask. There was so much of Ryoji in his soul and she loved it. There was no Hamuko but there was no Minato either because before her was nothing but evil, Ryoji, The God of Death.

"I will mutilate you!" Minato yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Like I did to your parents?" Hamuko chuckled, widening his eyes again.

Minato looked down at the mess of bones, shaking slightly before the anger took over him again. He exploded with another yell, stiffened with all the misery he had gone through in the past few weeks and Hamuko just chuckled in response because the battle was already over. Who won this brief scuffle was irrelevant.

Minato growled when the shadows and zombies pulled him back again, leaving him open to the punch that connected on his nose, only increasing his rage as he gave no shits about innocent. Nobody was innocent here. They had taken away his parent's resting place. EVERYONE WAS GOING TO DIE!

…

"What is going on!?" Yukari asked frantically, quickly firing a number of arrows to kill the shadows. She held the evoker to her temple and yelled, summoning to blow a number of them away. "Tell me!"

"Minato is fighting her…" Fuuka said, widening the eyes of her friends nearby.

"What…?" Sho said, killing the incoming shadows. He looked back at the crowd of civilians cowering in fear as the persona users repelled the nonstop waves of shadows of lost and shadows. "He is fighting…?" he was a little happy about that because this was what Hamuko wanted-

"He's trying to kill her," Fuuka added.

"What!?" Mitsuru growled.

"He's killing the Lost too,"

"What!?" Mitsuru growled. They were innocent people being mind-controlled. What on earth had happened to Minato because he was protecting them just a while ago-

"What happened!?" Akihiko demanded. "What is going on?"

A few tears leaked out of Fuuka's eyes and the girl quivered, biting her lip because she had seen everything.

"Nyx defiled the grave of his parents…" Fuuka said, still able to see the broken bones scattered on the ground. "She dug them out…"

"What..?" Yukari stopped and shivered. Nyx did that…?

"No…" Sho muttered. "W-What about the mirror?"

"It…" Fuuka paused, more tears escaping her eyes. The roars of the shadows forced them back to the battle but they were shaken, quivering because they knew something terrible was going to happen. "Minato broke it…"

…

Nyx eyed the broken remains of the mirrors and chuckled, smashing her fist into Minato's face and forcing him to back off but he immediately pressured forward, looking to take her head off-

Hamuko blocked the attempt and kicked the nearby bone into his face, enraging the already broken blunet who rifled his fist forward, only to get caught in return as Hamuko slipped and sliced his cheek open with a counter-slash.

"You bitch!" Minato hissed, tackling her into the nearby gravestone and breaking the stone to pieces. He gripped onto her ankle and hurled her into the next one but Hamuko got up, spearing and tossing him away, following it up by chucking a blob of darkness that Minato blocked, retaliating with pillars of flames as he summoned Surt, hurling heat towards the possessed redhead-

The lost and shadows quickly surrounded Nyx in a circle, taking the flames to save her. A few of them died and Minato took off running, shredding through the line and sending their heads rolling, on route to Hamuko who was already waiting for him, still cursing out his dead parents nonstop-

"FUCK!" Minato yelled as more of her minions grabbed onto him and Hamuko surged forward, slicing open a wound on his chest. He screamed in a mixture of hatred and pain and broke free from their grip, smashing full force into the goddess and beating her down to a knee-

Hamuko sprang back up with another slash on his shoulder, spilling more of his blood that splattered upon her. She smeared his filthy blood on her mask and stood up, going back to war as the two clashed in another heated scuffle, cursing and yelling in each other's faces but only one of them was in control-

Nyx smirked, despite getting pushed back. Her followers would retrieve the mask and her spirit would live on until the fall, enslaving more humans but meanwhile, this boy was fighting a losing battle. Whether he won or not was irrelevant because he was going to kill himself in the end if he won or else, she was going to do it because she had snared him, he was not going to run now and so his death was certain either way.

The girl she possessed had been yelling, wishing and wanting a part of this to happen. She wanted Minato to attack and Nyx could feel her grief when Minato was getting victimized but for now, she was silent, mostly in horror at the defiling of his parents grave and the fact that Minato had lost his mind and this time, she was not there to bring him back.

Hamuko grinned and pushed him back with another punch to his face. Minato stumbled back and leaked another tear, memories of his mother, beaten and bloodied, kissing his forehead and pushing him out of the car. He lurched forward and gritted his teeth, his senses wavering due to the nonstop influx of hatred and bloodlust.

"Awww, crying?" Nyx mocked his tears. "That is what separates you pitiful humans from me. You are weak, easily manipulated and too easy to shatter."

Minato couldn't even think of a response. He closed the distance and jumped on her with another bestial roar as he rained down a flurry of strikes and Hamuko brushed past most of them until a straight caught her and sent her stumbling backwards. She looked ahead quickly and barely backed off to avoid the swing of the blade that was meant for her face and it ended up grazing her shoulder-

"GRRR!" Hamuko retaliated and opened another gash on his body, grabbing the boy by the back of his head and slamming him down, viciously stomping onto the back of his neck until he cupped her ankle and hurled her away. He stood up and yelled out loud, summoning Orpheus who sprang up and came back down with a lyre shot that missed when Hamuko rolled to the side-

"Huh!?" a kick connected to her gut and lifted her off the feet but she grabbed the leg and picked the mortal up, slamming him onto the nearby tombstones, eliciting a rough scream when his back crashed against the them.

He was walking ahead with lunging, telegraphed punches, having forgotten his usual movements and attacks, all thanks to her. She held him down with a boot to his face and dug the blade she was holding into his gut, widening his eyes and forcing out another painful roar from the wild card on the ground.

"All too easy…"

"Come on boy, can you hear her?" Hamuko taunted, briefly looking up at the sky. "Your whore mother is still crying up there."

"UGH!" Minato growled, pushing her off and getting up, eyes surging with bloodlust.

"And you will be joining her soon," Hamuko said, summoning more shadows around her. The beasts snarled and hissed, ready to do her bidding.

"Like filthy mother, like son…"

"What are we even doing!?" Junpei shouted, panting because the wave was truly never ending. The shadows were crawling from Tartarus and the other two towers nonstop, hell bent on killing the people in the city. "Do we help him? Do we stay here? What do we do?"

"Fuuka," Mitsuru struggled, wounds already marring her body. "Ask him… Talk some sense into him."

Fuuka nodded and concentrated, reaching out to Minato-

"FUCK OFF BITCH!"

Fuuka was startled, almost losing control of her persona because the dread was so potent and the voice was disgustingly similar to-

"Ryoji…" Sho gulped, clenching his fists. No….

"Minato-kun, we-"

"ANY OF YOU SONS OF BITCHES COME HERE AND I WILL KILL YOU!"

His warning was heard all the way to the battlefield and the dread in his words was strong enough to remind them of Ryoji and the edge in his tone told the rest that he was not kidding. Minato was being real. Very, very real.

"What do we do…?" Akihiko asked.

"We protect the people," Mitsuru bit her lip. They had no other choice. All they could do was pray Minato would get his senses back because they couldn't leave the civilians defenseless.

"No…" Sho growled. "Minato… Snap out of this…"

Minato was getting cut up and busted but he still walked forward to fire his own punches even though he was losing the battle because he fought without any sort of plan. He kept walking forward, barely summoning personas and just winging punches and slashes, hoping to kill her and Nyx, having access to Hamuko's memory, easily figured out his lack of defense and hammered him without mercy.

"Stupid bitch!" Minato howled under the moonlight and broke into run, tussling and crashing his blade against hers and evoking another surge of energy that crashed into their bodies-

Minato grabbed a hold of the mask and yanked her forward, drilling a knee into her gut before he punched her backwards-

Nyx lunged in and opened up a brutal gash on the side of his head when she smashed the mask against his face, almost doubling him over but he immediately rose up, yelling out as loud as blue mist covered the area-

Hamuko jumped away to avoid the bolts and twirled around, launching a blob of darkness and smashing the Thunder God to pieces that faded into static. She pulled back and fired another rain of black blobs, smirking when Minato decided to just run through without any sort of defense. Perfect, he was literally asking for a painful death like that and she was going to grant him that-

The two roared and met in the middle again, swinging to take each other's heads off with Nyx getting the better of the fight as she constantly countered and blocked his telegraphed punches and opened up cuts and gashes in retaliation but still, whenever Minato connected, he lifted her off her feet, he was that powerful.

Minato circled around the possessed redhead and his eyes were entirely black now, a sign that the piece of evil entity was out of his control and had consumed and blinded him and this time, Hamuko was not around to calm him down. Usually just the warmth of her body was enough to calm him down but Nyx had taken everything away, her warmth, her soothing aura, even her calming voice. She just had her body and that was it.

By now, the girl who she had possessed by yelling into her mind that Minato was going to kill her and was even praying but most importantly…. she was crying. She had never cried until now but she was now, crying over the defiled graves of the boy's dead parents. Nyx paid little mind to that and easily blocked out her yells to focus on the task at hand, the brutal massacre of his body and soul because he deserved every bit of it-

Minato panted, having trouble seeing out of his eye and the voice of the devil constantly talking to him, telling him to go forward and kill the insolent girl who had done this and blinded by rage, Minato listened, giving out another deafening scream followed by a promise to his parents of avenging them no matter what.

Nyx did not even attempt to talk when they battled again, damaging and spilling each other's blood. She kept insulting his dead parents, berating them and promising that she would make them suffer even in hell and just like she wanted, Minato was getting wilder, losing more and more of his senses and focusing on just the desire of revenge.

But-

"Kill me…" Hamuko's voice whispered in the back of her head, drawing out a click from Nyx.

She could never understand their pitiful bonds, no matter how hard she tried. It was downright pathetic.

…

Flashes of a horrified Minato crying over the dead body of Hamuko hammered his brain over and over again, leaving him open to a shot that knocked him off his feet but he quickly got back up, still trying to process what was happening in the graveyard.

"Fuck…" Sho prided himself on blocking out extra bullshit and just focusing on the enemy in front of him but yet, he was barely focused at the shadows despite them being no problem for him because his mind and heart were focused somewhere else-

"Minato…" Sho lowered his blades and exhaled-

"Hamuko…" he recalled the warning of the now insane blunet and bit his lip, knowing for a fact that Minato would most likely kill him if he interfered in the battle but-

"No… Not like this…"

Sho brushed past the others persona users and tore through the shadows, creating an opening for him to escape. The rest stopped fighting and looked back to see Sho running away, confusing most of them and enraging Mitsuru.

"Sho!" she yelled. "Get back here this instant-"

"Fuck you, Kirijo bitch!" Sho thundered back. "Fuck all of you, you worthless sacks of shit!"

"You-"

"There are only three people in this world for me!" Sho yelled before she could finish. "All of you disappear. Fuck off! Go to hell! Only we three!"

"Me!"

"Minato!" he shouted, calming Mitsuru down who turned her back, ready to battle and just barely missing the faint whisper of-

"And Hamuko…"

Minato got up the moment he landed on the ground, blitzing forward and running into a punch, followed by the sword cutting through the flesh on his stomach. He gave out a raspy fuck and grabbed onto the insolent goddess, gripping onto her arm and picking her before he smashed her into the nearby stone that shattered upon impact-

Hamuko hurled the dust into his face and tackled him, digging the blade into the prominent wound on the gut before she connected with another punch to the side of his head-

Minato growled and sent her skidding with a counter before he got pulled by someone-

"Ugh!" he growled and swung his blade, killing the victims of the syndrome without remorse. He quickly expelled a wave of darkness to take care of the shadows but more of them dragged him back, clawing, biting and shredding his body as Hamuko came running back, snapping his head back when she jumped up and blasted him with a brutal knee strike that blinded him for a few seconds-

Minato powered his way through and flung the female into the other direction. He gave out a hiss and tore into the crowd of zombies and shadows, drenching himself with blood and ichor as he killed all of them effortlessly before screeching out to the skies again, not able to get rid of the fucking vision in his head, all because of-

"NYX!"

The goddess smirked because he was really starting to look like an animal now, without thought or reason, just a lowlife with no objective but to kill or get slaughter. She beckoned him over and he obliged, closing the distance with another sorrowful yell.

Hamuko moved through his attacks, crushing his body with repeated dark attacks and punches, knocking him down a few times but he got up every single time and crowded her, tears leaking out of his eyes which were now puffy red because he could not stop crying, even in the heat of battle-

"Pathetic!"

Hamuko tore into his body with her blade and punched the open wounds without remorse, only stopping when Minato lifted her off her with an uppercut to the mask and despite having the perfect opportunity, he did not summon, opting to blow her backwards with another punch but she quickly got up, forcing out screams from his throat when she fired another rain of dark attacks that crashed into his body and blew him off his feet-

Minato landed on the bones of his parents and lowered his head, wiping his eyes clean as the goddess walked forward, overjoyed and pleased because this was what she had wanted. He was crying, stumbling, on the ground, whimpering and shivering like the lowlife that he was while she was standing and had him in the palm of her hand.

It took a while because the boy was mentally strong but at the core, he was still a human with petty attachments and feelings. It was disgusting because he had power that rivaled gods but his blood was filthy, just the blood of his parents and his beloved Hamuko.

The world desperately needed something like her, a supreme deity to cleanse the land of the human filth, maybe sparing those who were devoted enough but most of them were going to die but first-

Minato hacked out blood after another brutal punch collided against his cut-

He fired back in return, knocking her to her feet and walking forward to pounce and maul-

Hamuko easily slipped and rolled away, getting up and grinning at the fact that he was now crawling forward on his hands and knees, like a literal animal-

Minato broke into a run and got knocked back down, collapsing down and just enduring the repeated stomps onto his face and throat as Nyx did not let up and kept trying to stomp the life out of his, mostly targeting his eyes and nose-

Minato coughed out blood and tried to get up, falling back down when Hamuko connected with another knee to his temple, sending him crashing to the ground yet, a bloodied mess as the reckless and brutal battle had taken a toll on him-

Hamuko held a foot against his chest and looked down without remorse.

"I dug their bones out,"

"Ugh,"

"I crushed them…"

"S-Stop,"

Hamuko raised her blade for the killing shot but still kept talking, hell bent on giving him a horrible death, mentally and physically.

"I fed them to the shadows!"

Minato pulled on his bangs and screeched at the top of his lungs-

"There is nothing left of them here! Their souls are in hell and their bones are no more. Your disgusting, filth sucking parents are no more! They are defiled in this world and the next. Go join them and suffer for eternity-"

CRACK!

Minato roared out a massive amount of blood and Nyx pulled back, stumbling as the whole area shook and shivered due to his horrifying shout, laced with grief and utmost hatred while she was left to get her footing, not able to catch Minato speeding ahead like a blur and crashing into her, knocking the control out of her body with a brutal knee strike up her gut before he grabbed her throat and forced her down, raising his other hand up and summoning a knife-

Minato's eyes were widened with nothing but madness and insanity inside as he was now completely broken and shattered, without a shred of thought and common and sense and just fueled by the piece of death still inside his soul, urging him to push the blade into her throat and finish. THIS.

KILL.

NYX.

KILL.

HAMUKO-

Sho bolted into the graveyard and widened his eyes, the sight before him almost making him bash his head against the nearby stone because he felt terrible, awful, almost in denial because in the end, this was his fault as he had started this all but this was not the time to collapse-

Sho screamed out loud, just seconds before Minato could plunge the blade into her throat and commit the biggest mistake of his life. He stopped and looked to see darkness flooding into his vision, blinding him and the girl who was squirming to get away-

"Minato!"

Said blunet was tackled away by someone and in response, he started biting and clawing, ripping the flesh of whoever was trying to stop him. He heard a few growls but the grip did not lessen until Hamuko yelled, dissipating the mist and throwing herself onto the two males-

Sho shoved Minato away and endured the shots, shaking his head and shoving her backwards, creating much needed distance-

"You?" Hamuko wondered. What on earth was this human doing here?

Minato's screech broke their staring contest and the blunet hurled himself forward, crashing into the redhead and hurling her upwards, several feet into the sky while he grabbed the blade nearby, aiming a shot to kill her-

"NO!" Sho tackled him away again, muscling him backwards until Minato pulled his head back and roared in his face, knocking the breath out of Sho's lungs who was legit horrified because his eyes were blank, puffy red due to the nonstop tears but he could see absolutely nothing inside-

"What did she do to you, man?" Sho wondered, briefly looking back to see the broken bones of his parents. "Shit…"

Minato hurled Sho away and ran forward to tussle with the possessed persona user, evoking another rippling shockwave and a blast of dark energy when they clashed, clawing and injuring each other until they disengaged-

"Minato!" Sho got in between them again, crying out in pain when he took the rain of black blobs from Nyx and then got his body smashed once again when Minato ran into him. He pushed him down and stomped once, roaring out loud when he saw Nyx in his field of vision-

"Wake up!" Sho pleaded him to come back but like before, all he got was an animalistic roar before Minato brushed past him and went ahead to clash with Nyx again-

"Fuck," Sho hissed, not believing that their battle was actually hurting him. He shook his head and shrouded the area in darkness again, drawing out more screeches from the two persona users as they swung around aimlessly, looking to kill each other despite the darkness-

"Minato!" Sho cried out to his friend, again pulling him away from Hamuko and looking back, widening his eyes when saw Nyx charging at the two of them, blade aimed for Minato's forehead-

Sho blocked the attempt and grunted, taking the metal into his forearm to save Minato. He swallowed the pain and kicked the two a good distance away, looking around as he panted, trying to think of something, anything that would bring his friend back-

He caught the little glint of moonlight and widened his eyes-

"Yes…"

Sho turned around and blocked Minato's charge, looking back and kicking the charging Hamuko away as he started dragging him along, actually punching and kneeing him when he tried to resist-

Hearing him grunt, snarl and hiss like an animal pained Sho for some reason but he kept his head clear and kept a firm around Minato, dragging him to where he wanted.

"Minato!"

The blunet roared in response, staring ahead at Nyx who was already preparing an attack to kill both of them at the same time-

Sho shivered when he felt the surge of deathly energy. He glanced ahead and widened his eyes as they were just a few yards away from Hamuko who was just about ready to unleash the attack and finish the battle-

"No!" Sho shook his head. It was not going to end like this. Not on his watch, NOT when he was the cause of this madness which had reduced his BEST FRIEND to a fucking animal-

Sho yelled and hurled Minato backwards, sending him soaring through the air before he landed, luckily, thankfully, where Sho had wanted but he was not as lucky as Nyx unleashed the spell and Sho screamed at the top of his lungs-

Minato opened his eyes briefly and managed to see his reflection on the broken, scattered pieces of the mirror-

"HUH!?"

"…"

"H-Hamuko…"

He blinked when his reflection morphed into that one persona he vehemently despised.

"R-Ryoji…"

The appraiser was laughing and giggling, the same shit eating grin plastered on his face but… why was he in the mirror when moments before Minato was staring into his own reflection-

"No…" Minato's body trembled and the evil building inside his heart and soul dissipated the moment he looked into the mirror, regaining his senses just like Igor had told him-

"H-Hamuko…" he murmured, letting out a few tears when he finally remembered what had happened. "Mom, dad…" he whispered their names softly, almost wanting to pierce his eyes open with the glass shards because he was conquered yet again-

"UGH!"

Minato was broken out of his misery when he heard a scream, a scream of someone who was very close to death, followed by the taunts and yells of the Night Queen who was pleased at the display before her, the twisting and turning of the redheaded male who was dumb enough to step in, thinking he had a chance to change the work and will of a God-

Sho was slipping, slipping into the abyss but even in his last moments, he was praying that somehow, someway, a miracle would happen because he had failed to atone for his sins-

"INFINITY!"

Sho blinked when the attack was reflected back at Nyx who crossed her arms but the explosion sent her flying-

"Hey!" Sho winced when he was dragged back and a number of healing spells were sent into his body, saving him from Death. "Thank you!"

He felt someone hug him as he started regaining his senses and he smirked as he would have returned the bro hug if he was able to because he was happy. Minato was back. His desperate toss had worked, due to dumb luck or maybe wild card miracle bullshit but it was alright with him cause he had atoned a bit of his sin.

"Thank you Sho," Minato pulled back from the hug and repeatedly sent more and more spells to heal his friend who had stopped him from killing himself over and over again.

Sho closed his eyes briefly and when he opened them, he saw Minato standing at the front, blocking the attack and not shying away from Nyx who sounded pissed, a sign that she figured out what was going on.

Minato brushed the attack to the side and took a step forward, cleaning the blood on his face and glanced down at his fist which was stained with his own blood…. And the blood of Hamuko-

"Don't you dare break down," Sho growled at him. "I will kill you if you cry and whine now."

"…"

"You got played again," Sho spat, telling him the cold truth. "She played you but dammit trust me, this is what Hamuko wanted all along."

"…"

"There is only one way to set this right," Sho stood up slowly. "Bring her back."

Minato looked ahead.

"For fuck's sake man," Sho shouted. "We share one common thought. The last thing we want to see if you break down because dammit, we have expectations. Don't you dare break them!"

Minato looked back and smirked, turning his head back towards Nyx who was walking forward briskly, growling because this was the last straw. Just like Ryoji, Nyx brought out the worst in him and he was sure he was not going to live this one down for a long, long time but-

Minato sighed and looked up, almost wanting to cry because he was played by the gods again, had battered and wounded Hamuko, lost his parents and had nearly cost Sho his life.

"Warriors and badasses don't cry!"

Minato exhaled and shook his head, biting back on the sobs and rolling his shoulder. His parents were gone, their bones were in pieces and he could not blame himself for breaking down but there was no way in hell he was losing Hamuko, not when his senses were back.

Nyx was surprised when Minato started walking forward, not flinching, not crying but serious and focused, looking the same as he did against Ryoji back in Monad-

"You!" Hamuko growled and bolted forward, swinging her fists but unlike last time, Minato slipped the shots and moved his head, catching her wrists and forcing her down to a knee, using his superior strength to subdue her and Nyx found it hard to get herself free-

"SHO!" Minato yelled. "Fix the mirror!"

Sho grinned and got up, quickly running towards the broken mirror so he could fix it.

"Nice try," Minato hissed, keeping her down. "You came real close, Nyx."

"You son of a whore!"

Minato shook his head at the insult. It hurt, especially considering Kotone was, just like she said, no more but she was not going to get him like that again. Ryoji and Nyx had played him for the last time and it was never going to happen again.

"It hurts but I'll heal myself when she comes back," Minato spat. "But make no mistake, at the promised day, I am going to fuck you up like the goddess whore that you are-"

Nyx lost it and screeched out towards the skies, generating a powerful shockwave that blew Minato away but he landed on his feet and quickly looked ahead, eyes widening when he saw what was going on-

Nyx unleashed a beam of dark energy in their direction and Minato quickly backed off, grabbed Sho and then jumped away to save them himself and Sho and luckily, ended up kicking the mirror away so it wouldn't break. The two landed a safe distance away and focused their attention back on Hamuko who was twisting and turning, more and more screeches rocking the place-

"What the hell is going on!?" Sho growled. "Dammit, the mirror-"

"She's changing…"

Hamuko was overtaken by gray robes and she disappeared into the darkness inside, actually growing a few feet taller as her body shape changed significantly, enough that Minato took a step forward, now sure that this was entirely Nyx, not Hamuko one bit as he could not see the skin of her face. The robes were actually revealing, split in the middle but to his surprise, there was no flesh, only darkness that shrouded her body entirely.

"What the fuck?" Sho blinked, glancing at her and wondering what on earth Hamuko had become. "Dude, it's as if the robe swallowed her or something."

Minato could not understand the entity either. This was Nyx? The mask was the only thing he recognized, otherwise, she looked like an ugly clusterfuck of…. Hell if he knew. The gray robes covered her body entirely, from head to toe, even covering up what seemed to be a bloated crown, except for the split in the middle.

Nyx hovered just a few feet above the ground, enraged as the mask changed expression to display her annoyance and contempt for the two humans. "How dare you?" she focused her fury on Sho who had ruined everything. He came in and ruined the work of a goddess and he was going to pay for that.

"Please tell me you are going to hit her now?" Sho sighed.

"I was going to hit her anyway," Minato said. "These Gods have controlled and played me for far too long, no more. We are bringing back but…"

"Huh?" Sho blinked.

"You got my back right?" Minato asked.

"For sure," Sho grinned back.

Nyx screeched at the two and they took their stances, cursing when she summoned a literal hundreds shadows out of nowhere and ordered them to kill the mortals as painfully as possible.

"Keep your focus on the mirror!" Minato shouted. "We need that to bring Hamuko back!"

Minato and Sho yelled in response to the roars of the shadows, tearing their way through the horde, getting gashed up and hurt but they kept moving forward, killing several of them with their fists and blades until Nyx finally glided her way over to them, rocking the graveyard with another violent scream-

The two were blown backwards by the explosion of dark energy and the shadows latched onto their frame, forcing out grunts until they shook them off and blocking the incoming fists by their blades, triggering just enough force to create distance between them and the goddess-

Nyx immediately went on the attack again, summoning more shadows and unleashing a burst of flames that the two were forced to dodge-

"Sho, look out!" Minato shouted-

Sho blocked the fists with his blades, slipping her shots and looking for an opening but to his surprise, she was much faster than before. "Ugh!" he ducked underneath the slash and swung his blade around, slicing through her stomach and then blowing her back with a kick to create distance-

Nyx retaliated with a bolt of lightning that sent Sho flying but before she could follow him, Minato ran and came in between, shaking his head at her. Not on his watch.

"What is Hamuko wishing right now?" Minato asked.

Nyx remained silent. The girl had stopped crying and was repeatedly yelling at her that Minato was going to free her, going as far as to swearing on her own parents that he was going to save her.

"Thought so," Minato sneered and bolted ahead to meet her charge, blocking her fists until she backed off and summoned two blades into her grip, hurling the large metals at his face and Minato parried, moving around as the two kept clashing weapons, growling and hissing at each-

"Fuck!" Minato scowled when the shadows grabbed onto him again but he powered his way out, narrowly ducking the forward stab before he rose up to land a kick to the side of her stomach-

Nyx grabbed his face and crushed him against the ground-

Minato grabbed onto her wrist and hurled her away but she steadied herself in mid-air, shooting a mixture of spells in his direction. Minato blocked the damage by kicking the shadows to take the spells before breaking into another run, noting that she had grown stronger and faster but then again… so had he.

"Give her back!" Minato smashed into her body and avoided the swing, coming back into the range and slicing through her dusty robes, yelling and cursing the goddess. "Give me my Hamuko, you bitch!"

Nyx moved out of the range of his attacks and summoned more of the damn things, forcing Minato to summon. "Orpheus!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as the musician materialized, slamming the lyre onto the ground to generate enough force that the shadows were launched into the air-

"Atom smasher!"

Phantom slashes were followed by a rain of ichor from the skies as the shadows were torn apart, annoying Nyx who decided to kill them by herself. She looked back and Sho was on his feet as well, ready to tear her down because of all the shit she had done.

The two took off running at the same times, summoning simultenously and Nyx dodged the charge of their personas, evoking a surge of darkness that crashed into the entities and reduced them to mist but the users did not stop, eventually clashing with the goddess and triggering a vortex of darkness towards the skies-

Minato brushed off the damage and sidestepped her charge as Sho came running, kicking the goddess a few feet away and blocking the beam of almighty energy that she went their way. Nyx screeched in annoyance, crowding the two mortals and looking to take their heads off with her dual blades-

Minato and Sho blocked their attempt until Minato ducked and kicked Sho to the side, taking a step back and engaging all alone with Nyx. "Go on! Get the mirror!" he growled, pushing her back and staring at the redhead. "I'll hold her off-"

"Oh no you don't," Nyx's eyes shone momentarily and the two were taken over by an invisible force and taken high into the skies, bodies flying around as Nyx controlled them with mere gestures, having them crash into each other before they plummeted, landing painfully onto the tombstones with a sickening sound of cracking bones-

"Ugh," Minato got up and winced. "As I was saying… Get the fucking mirror!"

Nyx screeched in return, discharging another purple beam of energy for a distraction before she flew up high into the skies, holding up her hands and conjuring up a massive sphere of almighty energy that exploded seconds later, raining down in the form of purple spheres that exploded against the ground, the heat and pressure crashing into the bodies of the two males as they were sent flying-

"Persona!"

Orpheus flew into the skies, emerging from the dust that was scattered. He got close within a matter of seconds and buckled Nyx with a lyre shot to the body before sending her crashing to the ground with a bash to the top of her head-

Minato called Orpheus back and switched to Odin, summoning the God who discharged a massive stream of electricity in the direction of Nyx who screamed as the bolts struck her but eventually, she bolted through the massive beam of thunder, getting close and hurting both the persona and the user with an explosion of dark energy-

"No," she held out her palm and targeted Sho who was running towards the mirror. He stopped to dodge the attack and blocked her charge, getting pushed back a little but he slipped under and ran ahead to grab the mirror-

Nyx cupped his ankle and hurled him backwards. She stepped up and was ready to stomp the mirror to nothingness-

"NO!" Minato tackled her into the nearby rocks and got his body crushed with another burst of darkness but he endured the pain and dragged her away, holding her down as Sho again ran for the broken mirror-

Nyx expelled a beam of energy from her mouth, catching the two boys off guard and engulfing Sho who did not see the attack coming. Again, she concentrated and sent the two high into the skies before she strolled forward to crush the damn thing-

"MY. HAMUKO!"

Nyx looked up in surprise when Minato broke free from the telekinesis and shot down like a comet, crashing into Nyx and holding her down as he started raining punches over and over again, repeatedly cursing the goddess for taking away the girl that he loved.

Nyx suffered a dozen or so punches until she shook him off, dodging his battles and summoning her own weapons. The two locked their weapons and ignored the sparks until Sho came running and Nyx had to adjust, getting pushed back as it was two against one-

"Move!" Sho was kicked to the side yet again as Minato cracked her on the mask to block the surge of almighty energy. He kicked the legs from under her and quickly conjured up a ball of wind that exploded against the goddess and sent her a good distance away-

"Mirror-" Minato panted, moving to grab it and fix it and finally bring Hamuko back-

The roars forced him to look straight ahead and Sho quickly joined him to help him fight off the wave of shadows, killing and knocking them backwards before he simunlteounsly summoned to kill all of them with a fusion spell of light and darkness, clearing the area of the damn things and leaving only Nyx who was losing it.

"I am going to defile this girl in the worst possible way after I am done with you," Nyx swore. "Mark my words!"

"Over my dead body," Minato spat. "But mark my words; I am going to ruin you and your filthy son, you incestuous pieces of shit!"

Nyx roared out loud at the insult, stopping both of them in their tracks by telekinesis but like before, Minato broke through and broke her concentration, freeing Sho as well. The two teenagers pressured the goddess yet again who was getting angrier, not believing that she was the one taking steps back to save herself. This was all because of you-

"YOU!" Nyx avoided Minato and grabbed a hold of Sho's face, pushing the redhead back until he groaned at the collision of his back against the rock that shattered upon impact-

"Get off him!"

Minato grabbed her by the head and dragged her back, manhandling her with his superior strength. "Give her back!" he yelled, crushing her into the ground and then stomping onto her chest. "You goddamn bitch!"

Nyx expelled another burst of energy to create space and swung around, charging up a multitude of spells and firing all of them in the direction of the two pigs-

Minato directed the attack to the side and panted, getting exhausted since he had battling for a long time without rest and he knew Sho was tired too.

Nyx stopped and froze in place, her voice shifting momentarily because the girl-

"Minato!"

Minato exhaled, taking a step forward. After so long…. He finally heard her voice….

"Mina-!"

Nyx quickly took control and was surprised that the girl had managed to take over HER for a few seconds. She chalked it up to damage because the two had roughed her up a good bit, especially the blue haired boy who was no doubt on the level of the gods, just massively strong even in raw strength.

"Minato-kun!"

Fuuka's voice echoed and he replied.

"Yeah?"

"The shadows and the lost are headed your way! What should we do?"

"Hehehe," Minato laughed, finally having got a bit of salvation by hearing her voice again. "Stay where you are and attend to the people."

"Minato-kun?"

"I got everything I needed," Minato cracked his neck, glaring at Nyx for taking her away. He heard the roars of the shadows and the zombies and just ahead, Nyx summoned more of them, ready to crush them with sheer numbers.

Sho got up and gripped his blades, stopping next to Minato. The two stood shoulder to shoulder, aware that the increase in number would mean failure but only IF they allowed that to happen, of course.

"You know what to do," Minato said as Sho gripped his shoulder.

"Yeah," Sho replied, taking deep breaths to prepare for the finale.

"Here we go," Minato brought two personas to the front of his mind and Sho evoked the mist from inside his soul, grinning at Nyx who looked ready to charge.

"Meet up soon,"

"Fuck yeah!"

The two bolted quicker than their foes, dodging the shadows and Nyx who was a little confused as the two did not attack and instead just darted to the side-

Nyx fired a blast to kill Minato who avoided it easily and grabbed the mirror, still whispering something under his breath. He dodged Nyx yet again and ran forward, having the luxury of summoning two personas at once.

Orpheus spawned again, sending a good chunk of his foes flying. The persona geared up yet again for another strike and Nyx prepared to take care of him-

"Persona!"

A thick wave of darkness covered the area, followed by roars of the defeated shadows. Struggling and damaged, Nyx had to put some effort into generating enough force to dissipate the darkness but when she managed to do it, the goddess froze, aware that this meant a very possible failure-

Minato and Sho were gone and all she could see was a bluish red circle around her, formed from the nonstop circular movement of the two persona user as they kept running at inhumane speeds, buffed up by the spells they had been charging up for the past several seconds-

The second she raised her fist, one of them struck her, stopping her in place. She roared in annoyance and expelled a surge of elementals and most of them just passed through the circle without any harm to the teenagers as they were fast enough to dodge-

"Now Sho!" Minato yelled and the two started their attack-

Nyx was rocked with several dozens punches in the next few seconds, sending the goddess stumbling as she tried to regain control but the pressure did not lessen as the blows kept coming, the two persona users darting in and out, slipping into range and going back to running around her after landing a few blows and between that-

"UGH!" Nyx caught a glimpse of a few glass shards that were moving along as the two kept flashing a few of them to weaken her further and it was working. Nyx reached out to touch her but another glimpse into the demon mirror forced the girl to take control griefly-

"Minato!"

Hamuko yelled again, forcing the blunet to push his exhausted body.

"Just a bit," Minato flashed the half mirror in Nyx's face and the goddess went down to a knee. "I'm almost there."

Nyx was struggling for control as the girl kept her glued down, leaving her open to the attacks of the two males and now, she was hurting, the pain spreading over her body that she desperately tried to move but with every second, the girl was getting stronger, overpowering her more and more as the glass shards kept swirling around her and wherever she looked, she saw her reflection, a redhead girl who was growling, struggling to break free-

"Night Queen!"

Minato sensed the power of the attack and yelled at Sho to back off and he did, dodging under the attack which was not strong but just gave off a bad vibe. Exhausted and beaten, Sho still hurled himself forward and crashed into Nyx, shoving her forward, right in the direction of Minato who was holding the mirror-

Minato flipped the mirror and Hamuko forcefully opened her eyes, finally pulling off the miracle as the Night Queen gazed into the demon mirror and it was all over-

Minato dropped the mirror as the entity collapsed to the ground, darkness coiling around her but he could still see her. "Hamuko!" the blunet panted and hurried over to her, grabbing her hand and using every last bit of energy in his body to pull her out from the bubbling vortex of darkness that was threatening to swallow her.

"Minato!"

He finally saw her face, her weary and beaten face and her puffy red eyes. He grabbed onto her and started pulling her out, exhausted beyond belief but still trying his hardest to free her. He was so close now. Just a bit more-

Sho grabbed onto Hamuko as well and started dragging her, pulling her body free from the quick sand like darkness and slowly, due to their efforts, Hamuko was emerging. She grabbed a hold of the two boys and tried pulling herself out-

"Ugh!" Minato gave one final burst of energy and hurled Hamuko out of the darkness and she crashed into Sho, sending the two rolling backwards and finally, finally freeing her from the control of the goddess who withered away, cursing out the blunet as the darkness lessened before disappearing completely, leaving behind the cursed mask which now had a single crack in the middle.

Minato bent down and picked the damn thing, taking a deep breath.

"Nyx…" he exhaled and pressed the mask to his own face, closing his eyes as he was greeted by darkness-

…

…

…

Minato opened his eyes and shrugged away the haunted whispers. Instead, he looked around and then up, barely able to see the yellow orb that was shrouded in darkness, revealing only a little bit of what he assumed was the core.

This bitch was the cause and reason for all of his misfortune.

"Nyx!" Minato howled at the goddess. "You crossed the line this time."

"…"

She was the mother of shadows.

"You worthless little bitch!" Minato kept shouting. "How dare you!?"

She was the mother of Ryoji.

"Just a few days left, I'm waiting for you!" he continued. "I can't wait for you to arrive."

She had dug out the graves of his parents.

"I can't wait to get my hands around your filthy throat!"

SHE HAD POSSESSED HAMUKO.

"I can't wait to get my hands on that little cuck you call a son!" Minato spat. "I hope you two come together, as one like he said. I'm going to fuck both of you whores at the time, until you fucking grovel at my feet!"

"…"

There was still no response.

Minato panted and held his middle finger up, a sign of his continued defiance towards the gods as he had taken down every single one that came in his way.

"Suck on that, bitch," he spat and walked away, disappearing into the darkness. He knew Nyx was there, watching his every move, scowling in anger because he had defied them yet again.

...

Minato removed the mask from his face and threw it down, finally crushing it to pieces under his boot and the moment he did, the world was back to normal. The shadows disappeared and the lost simply stomped in their tracks.

It was all over.

"M-Minato…"

Ashamed and not sure how to proceed, Minato hung his head low and turned around slowly, only to collapse to the ground as Hamuko ran into him, sending the two of them crashing-

"Minato!" she sounded so horrified for the first time in a long while. She was shaking against him, not even to hug him properly because of the quivering, much like Minato who was quaking in his boots, barely able to look her in the eye after what he had done.

The two pulled back and stared at each other, wincing and cringing as they remembered what had happened, the ungodly hell that Nyx had unleashed on them. Minato noticed that she was badly busted up, even her face and the wounds that Nyx forcefully opened up were still gushing out blood.

"S-She," Hamuko swallowed the lump in her throat and broke down, looking down at her scarred and wounded body, now questioning if she would ever be the same again. "S-She broke me…"

"No…" Minato shook his head and cupped one side of her face.

"She broke me, Minato," Hamuko sobbed, tears running down her cheek because of all that had happened. She didn't know where to start, what to say, what to do because there was so much wrong. "I-I'll never be the same again."

"No," Minato exhaled and pressed her close, wondering about the last time she actually cried. Even during their war against Ryoji, Hamuko did not cry and yet…

Hamuko sniffed and sobbed, clinging onto him as she yelled at the top of her lungs, letting out the emotions and the bad memories she was forced to endure.

"She broke nothing," Minato pulled her up and ran his fingers over the wounds on her face, gashes and lacerations that were deep enough to leave scars but… "I won't allow it."

"I-I'm sorry," Hamuko clasped her hands together, pleading for forgiveness. "I'm so fucking sorry-"

"You don't have to," Minato remembered getting played by Nyx and losing himself in the bloodlust of Death. He was at fault too. He was possessed too. He was used as a plaything by the Gods too. "I failed too."

Hamuko struggled to get her breath out and finally wrapped her arms around him and Minato returned the gesture, sighing out when he felt her warmth. He pulled her close and shut his eyes, lowering his head against her as she did the same, falling silent and just holding on as it had been far too long.

"I'll heal you," Minato whispered. "Like I promised, there will not be a single scar on your body."

Hamuko breathed out.

"Do you trust me?"

Hamuko cupped the side of his face and smiled faintly. "I do… Thank you."

From the distance, Sho was watching the two with an actual smile, not a cheeky or teasing grin he usually gave out and for the first time in a while, he was at peace because everything was back to normal and he had finally atoned for his sins.

"Man, guess all of this did humble me a bit," Sho admitted. This seemed so familiar to him. He could recall the same scene after Minato's battle with Theo. Back then, he saw them like this and puked out but this time-

"Idiots should put more effort into it," he chuckled, not believing he was cheering them on like that but… after all that happened… he was hard-headed but not delusional because the truth was in front of him.

"Bonds huh?" he initially believed them to be a vehicle for weak people, something for them to cling onto but there was nothing weak about what he saw right now.

"Minato…"

"Hamuko…"

"These idiots, man," he breathed out. Their bond was something else as he himself had tried to break it but had fallen short, just like all those who had tried, avatars of powers, plume monsters, other persona users, shadows, monsters, gods and supreme entities, every single of them had failed to break the bond between them, no matter how hard they tried or no matter the hell they unleashed upon those two.

They walked into every single battle holding hands and walked out with their grips even stronger, despite walking through hell and it had happened so many times now. Their bond was strong enough that even someone like him almost threw his life away just so they could get together.

"I have them to blame," he snorted, watching on as the two kissed each other on the cheek and forehead, still pressed up together. "And someday… I'll get them for this."

Their bond was special.

The bond between two Wild Cards.

Sho exhaled, finally having got an answer for his questions, all thanks to those two. And now, he knew for a fact, if they worked together, even an unbeatable entity like Nyx would be beaten because there was nothing stronger than their bond, tested and now finally proven.

The blue headed asshole, the mortal who stood up against Nyx without a hint of fear was now shivering and trying hard not to weep, profusely apologizing for something that was not even wrong. It used to annoy the shit out of, used to make him angry but maybe it was his anger that kept him blind to the truth.

"I get it now…" Sho dropped his blades and took a step forward. "What did that moron say…? Ah yes…. I ship them now, one hundred percent-"

"Sho!"

Lost in his thoughts, Sho was tackled by Hamuko who hugged him tightly, surprising the male who returned the hug after a few seconds because… well… she was a friend too. A girlfriend to Minato was definitely a friend to him.

"Thank you," Hamuko pulled back and bowed her head down. "Thank you so much for everything."

"Yeah," Minato finally smiled, giving off the same aura as he did before as the pressure was finally off his shoulders. "I owe you. You save Hamuko and I am in debt forever."

"Your fault, asshole," Sho spat. "Look what you made me do!"

"Feels nice, right?" Minato asked.

Sho stopped and looked at him, nodding and agreeing. "Yeah."

Minato stepped forward and hugged his former rival who returned the strong bro-hug, staying in the same position and panting because the battle had left them exhausted but they had pulled through.

"Thanks, man," Minato pulled back and bowed his head low. "Please try not to get possessed…. I don't want to face you like that."

"Heh," Sho smirked. "We'll be done with this bullshit in a few days."

"Definitely," Minato promised, looking up at the moon. The promised day was very close now.

Minato looked down and scanned the devastated graveyard, spotting ichor, dead bodies and pools of blood but-

"Hey, we can do something," Hamuko said, tugging on his sleeve.

"Yeah," Minato said, glancing at the remaining bones.

"I'll help too," Sho nodded.

Minato winced but went ahead, placing the bones in one grave and putting the two tombstones together. He looked around the carnage and apologized for ruining the resting place of so many other people.

"I'll get Nyx for you," Minato swore, glancing one last time at his parents grave before the three teenagers left the cemetery, having survived against the goddess of the night sky which was another miracle. "I promise…"

Minato looked ahead to see the rest of his team, exhausted, some of them on the ground and some of them leaning against the buildings. Yukari caught the three and yelled at the others who quickly ran over to them.

"Let's go home…"

Minato smiled, shoving his hands inside his pocket and glancing at the moon one last time before leaving with his team mates and Hamuko.

And that's done. Minato and Hamuko survive yet again but like Sho said, they are two wild cards, nuff said. And finally, Sho's CD is done, he has come a long way from the start. It was real fun writing him in p3 because imo, he is a better character than every guy in p3, Junpei second. He's also mad entertaining and funny so that helps. Had a lot of fun writing him at times.

And wow... next is the lemon... hahahaha... and it's already done... so imma just say : mind reviewing quickly so I can put it up?
