Au. Percy Jackson died when he was 8. Her mother couldn't take the loss so she builds a robot with Percy's memories until the moment he died. He goes to high school and finds friends and maybe even a girl he loves. But will this change when he reveals that he is not a human? My first story so please bare if I don't have good grammar

3. Chapter 3: Close Call

I deleted the previous chapter again and re-uploaded it because I noticed a lot of spelling mistakes when I re-read it. Anyways enjoy the chapter.

I took a seat after the teacher introduced me to the whole class. After a minute Annabeth came in and searched for a place to sit. She smiled at me and came towards me. OH MY GOD, SHE'S GOING TO SIT NEXT TO ME.

" Hey Percy", she said as she sat down. " H-hey"

" I-I am sorry about earlier. I just..."

" No, it's ok. You are cool. It was a pretty nice guess. I can't believe we are that obvious", she said in amusement.

I laughed nervously.

Maths started before we could talk anymore. Mrs. Dodds started doing the lesson and I just stayed there bored out of my mind. I looked at Annabeth who was concentrating really hard and I was surprised that she could do that with ADHD.

" Percy Jackson, tell me the answer of W", shouted Mrs. Dodds. I looked at the board and I got the answer.

"W= 19", I said. She looked at me surprised and the whole class looked at me even Annabeth." I thought you were busy staring at Annabeth."

I blushed and the class gave chores of 'awwwww'.

Annabeth's gonna think I am a creepy dude to stare at her.

" Silence or you will all have detention", yelled Mrs. Dodds. Soon enough everyone's sound died down.

As the class continued I looked at Annabeth once more to find him doing my role. I smirked and wrote ' Like what you see?' on a paper and gave it to Annabeth. She blushed when she saw it and quickly wrote something down and gave it to me

" Say's the person who looked at me at first. And don't worry I am not offended :)"

I blushed even more than before and saw her smirking.

" Do your homework and give it to me tomorrow", said Mrs. Dodds as she left the class." What do you have next?", asked Annabeth.

" English"

" Oh, I have the...",

She was cut off by another voice.

" Hey Percy right?", she said in a purry tone. The girl was powdered with makeup and was wearing revealing clothes that were making me uncomfortable.

" Yeah?", I said raising my eyebrow. I was reading who she was when she said," I am Drew Tanaka."

" Yeah the Queen Bitch", I read out what I said I quickly closed my mouth and my eyes widened.

The class started snickering and Annabeth next to me went into pearls of laughter. I smiled. I made her laugh

Suddenly Drew raised her hand and brought it sideways really quick that a normal human wouldn't have reaction time. She was going to slap Annabeth.

I have to stop it, she can't get hurt because of my stupid mouth. I quickly took a tight grip on Drew's hand. The speed wasn't a speed a normal human could move and I wished knowone saw that.

" Ouch", shouted Drew.

" Keep your hands for yourself", I said calmly. I looked at Annabeth who was holding her God knowone saw that.

I let go of her wrist and she rubbed it and left the class.

" Are you hurt?", I asked

" No Thanks to you. If it wasn't for you I would have a red mark on my cheek and get embarrass.". I grinned at her," No problem"

" So are we friends?", I asked with hope.

" Yes and any more stupid Questions, Seaweed brain?", she asked smiling. God her smile is really beautiful.

" Seaweed Brain?"

" Your eyes are just like the ocean. And in the ocean, you have seaweed so yeah"

" Amazing, Wise girl", I said, clapping

" Wow amazing Nickname", she smirked.

" It fits you. You are smart as hell", I pointed

She blushed at my comment. " Thanks"

" Alright let's go to our next class"

" So do you like, Annie?", asked Thalia. I blushed at her question.

" Thalia. You are making him uncomfortable", whisper-yelled Annabeth who was blushing as well.

" As-as a friend", I replied.

" And besides she has a boyfriend", I added.

" A boyfriend who dates 2 girls", snorted Thalia.

" He doesn't.", Protested Annabeth.

" Ok let's stop fighting shall we?", said Piper.
