I walked out of the changing room and rushed to the park to meet my friends. As I was passing I heard someone arguing.

Annabeth.

And Now...

"... order me like that and it was your fault you were so cocky", said Annabeth's voice. I quickly hid behind the wall as I overheard their conversation or more like screeching-at-each-other-trying-not-to-rip-each-others-throats.

My vision turned to X-ray so I could see it more clearly.

" Oh right. It's my fault. Where were you when I lost the match? As I can remember. You just stayed with that Jackson kid.", scoffed Luke.

" You didn't seem like you need me because all the girls surrounding you. You seem to enjoy it ", yelled Annabeth.

" No I didn't", protested Luke.

" Oh you didn't enjoy kissing Drew pressing her to the wall?", Annabeth shot back.

Luke stiffened and Annabeth slapped him." We are over", she said and left Luke. I hid behind the door to avoid being seen.

Then I hurried to the park.

When I came there I decided not to tell Annabeth I saw that.

" What took you so long?", Jason asked.

" Sorry", I muttered.

Dominos Pizza

I was talking with my friends eating Pizza when I suddenly got a warning saying,

I took a glimpse at my watch which was throwing sparks. My eyes widened. How can I be so stupid? The Water.

I was losing my power since my battery is barely alive.

" Percy, is everything ok?", asked Annabeth.

I nodded quickly and said," Guys I need to go. I have curfew"

" But it's only 10 minutes and you haven't even eaten your pizza.", said Piper.

" I am full. I gotta go.", I said and rushed out after hearing a few 'see you's. After I was a good distance away from the shop, I ran fast to home in 100 kmph.

After 1 minute I saw my house and I was already into,

I could feel my eyes shut when Open the front door.

" Percy what's wrong", asked my mom.

" Battery...water...malfunction"

The world turned dark and the last thing I saw was my mother rushing to my side.

I opened my eyes and saw my mom looking at me.

" Hi.", I said sheepishly.

Mom sighed with relief.

I hugged her.

" It's waterproof now, so no need to worry. Explain this"

3 weeks later

After the breakup with Luke, Annabeth and I were best friends. And my feelings for her grew more and more. Drew flirted more and more, but I ignored her.

I was the popular boy at school after beating Luke. But I still hang out with Annabeth and her friends instead of staying with the 'Popular' group. I got a lot of offers, most of them were from Drew but I declined all of them.

Present

We sat down at our regular table at lunch.

" Wait Drew's your sister?", I asked astonished.

" It was breaking news to me too because they have nothing in common.", said Annabeth.

" Anyways, she has a party tonight and she invited you guys to it. So what do you say?", asked Piper.

" I don't know. That is kinda sus", said Leo.

" You've been playing too much Among us", said Thalia.

" I mean would it hurt to go?", I said.

" I guess okay?".

" But don't drink anything except water, who knows Drew might have spiked it.", I said.

" Wow the Seaweed brain has become wise", teased Annabeth.

I pouted.

This party wouldn't hurt us.
