Chapter 2 Welcome to the Devil life, Naruto-kun

"He's starting to come to." D'draig had a sign of relief in his voice. "Naruto before you wa-"

"Shh, let's see where this goes." Kurama cut the dragon off, he had a hint of mischievousness in his voice.

"What happened?" Naruto asked sitting up in his bed, the covers slid off his body to show that he was shirtless. Naruto tried to remember what happened last night, he looked down at his stomach. Naruto ran a finger across his toned abs, "Did I get stabbed, or was that just a dream?" He asked himself. He brought his hands up to his face to rub his eyes and scratch his head. He was unsure what happened to him, he could see visions in his mind's eye. A cloaked figure, a red sword in his gut, black marks all over his stomach and spreading, a red light, and then darkness. He flopped his hands down, his right hand hit his bed, but his left hit something soft. He gave a squeeze to find it to be really soft. Then he heard a feminine moan. "What the-AHHH!"

Naruto backed up but fell off his bed. "Naked girl, bed, what?!"

"His first time seeing a naked woman, and he goes brain dead." Kurama jabbed laughing at the boy's reaction.

"Are you always this loud in the morning?" Naruto heard the voice from the girl, he recognized it.

"Rias?!" He shouted in shock. At this point he felt a breeze between his legs. Looking down to inspect, he saw that he was completely naked. "Holy shit, did we just…" He tried to remember but could not recall what happened to him last night.

"Had sex? No but there's time, we could." She rolled to her side, her breast could be seen with the right orb being compressed into the bed while the left hung close to the right. Her hand draped over her sheet covered thigh. She winked at him loving the reaction she got. When his face turned completely red, she couldn't help but laugh. "You're so funny. No nothing happened to us this week."

"Oh, good, for a second there I thought…wait week?"

"Yes, that's how long you were out, that poison really did a number on you."

"Poison? What poison?"

"I'll explain, first let's get dressed, not that I mind seeing you 'swing' around." She smiled sensually, he looked down, and remembered that he did not have boxers on.

"Eep!" He squeaked out covering himself. He side steps over to his dresser so she could not see his butt as well.

Kurama was laughing his furry ass off. "'Eep'? The kit actually went 'eep' oh this is the best."

D'draig rolled his eyes, his roommate was a jerk at times, make that all the time.

The two high schoolers were now dressed and sitting across from each other on the floor. "Naruto-kun do you remember what happened?"

"First names, Gremory?"

"You said mine, it's only fair." He did call her by her first name, he panicked and forgot his composer.

"Fine, Rias, to answer your question I don't remember much, some flashes but that's it."

"I figured as much. Well, I'll tell you what I know from when I got there. You were on the ground lying in a puddle of your own blood. Body covered in black marks with a gaping hole in your stomach. I used my healing magic to heal the wound, but you were still poisoned."

"Poison? Yokai's are not affected by poison."

"There is one, one that I read about in an old book."

"You happened to have read an old book about Yokai poisons?"

"No, it was more of a history of Yokai's, and I read it when Koneko became my [Rook] I wanted to understand her more."

"Oh, makes sense." Naruto nodded while Kurama rolled his eyes. He knew the author of the book that Rias was talking about, and the guy, in his words, was a hack.

"Anyway, I remembered reading an ancient poison that was thought to be extinct. It attacks the chakra system and the more chakra the user tries to use to purge it, the faster the poison spreads."

"Really? So, what was the antidote?"

"There isn't one…" She trailed off, she was saddened and ashamed of herself that she did not get there sooner.

"Wait, if there isn't one then how am I still alive?"

"While the poison may affect Yokai, it doesn't affect Devils, even Yokai Devils. The only way to save you from the poison was to…" Naruto pieced it together.

"Make me a Devil." He said softly, defeatedly.

"Naruto-kun, I'm so sorry, if there was another way, I would have done it."

"I understand, it's okay, you had no choice." It started to come back to him, the memories of that night, the fight with those cloaked individuals. "I just want to know who those guys were."

"Who? The ones that poisoned you?"

"Yeah, and how did they get an extinct poison?"

"I know who they are, I recognized that symbol right away, that's why I wanted us to get out of there." Kurama growled recalling the cloaked individuals.

"You know who they are Kurama?" Naruto asked aloud.

"Kurama?" Rias was confused by the name that Naruto said and she wondered who he was talking to.

"It's a long story, hang on." Naruto made a cross sign with his fingers and declared his jutsu creating a shadow clone. The clone closed his eyes, his whisker marks grew wilder and his eyes were now red with black slits and his canines were longer. "Rias, Kurama, Kurama, Rias." Naruto introduced the two.

"Pleasure to meet you." Rias's eyes grew wide when she heard a deeper more animalistic voice come from the clone. "As I told the kit I know who those cloak guys are, or at least who they work for."

"Who?" Rias was now over her shock and put on a serious face.

"Pestilence."

"Pestilence? One of the four horsemen of the apocalypse?" Rias asked her eyes growing wide, everyone in the underworld has heard legends of the four horsemen.

"You have the title wrong. They are the four Generals of Apocalypse. The whole horsemen thing is just fairy tales."

"I thought they were fairy tales?" Naruto asked, he knew of the legends of the horsemen, or the generals as Kurama says.

"They are very much real, and they are not to be messed with. They serve Apocalypse, a beast that not even I, God, or Lucifer could destroy."

Naruto and Rias both winced at the name drop of the Christian god. "What was that?"

"Sorry, but we Devils can't say or hear the name of the biblical god without getting a slight migraine." Rias explained.

"That sucks, me and the big guy were friends, Rivals even, that's kind of how the whole mess started. However, that is a story for another time, to get back to the four Generals. When he was free Apocalypse, even though he seemed like he was a one-man army, chose four of his most faithful followers to be his generals. Death, War, Famine, and Pestilence. The four from last night had her symbol on their cloaks."

"Pestilence was known for his diseases though; I didn't know he did poisons." Rias remembered some of the stories on the four.

"First correction, she, Pestilence is a woman, a creepy sadistic woman that loves to see others writhing in pain. Second, while it seemed like diseases they were actually poisons. The ancient Yokai Poison you mentioned, yeah that's one of her creations. She made it with me in mind, she has this obsession with seeing me in pain." Kurama shuddered thinking about the battles he and his army had against the general.

"But it doesn't effect Devils."

"Yeah, she could never find one for Devils, didn't care either, only cared about seeing me in pain and misery. Whether that meant hurting me or the Yokai. She would do anything to get some kind of reaction out of me." Kurama growled remembering some of his followers and soldiers that fought for and with him that suffered at her hands, or the hands of her soldiers. "Every soldier under her has access to her poisons. Unlike her though not all of them get off on seeing others in pain. Like the ones last night, hell some show loyalty to her by cutting out their own tongues, and she delights in seeing them do so. I bet those three speechless ones were some that did so."

"That's sick." Naruto nearly gagged.

"I can't believe anyone would willingly do something so extreme." Rias was hugging her shoulder trying to stop the shiver of fear that went through her.

"I agree, listen Kit, stay sharp, once they find out that you are not dead, I'd hazard a guess they'd be back. Either personally or send stronger members."

"Stronger? That guy last night was so fast, I didn't even sense him coming." Naruto admitted.

"Really? You were able to keep up with Kiba, maybe even be faster than him. I can't believe that there is someone that is faster than you." Rias was shocked at the revelation that there was someone faster than Naruto.

"Naruto don't get yourself down, you still have a long way to go. That guy may be fast but he's still not faster than what your dad was. Which means with training you can be faster." Kurama reassured the blond.

"You knew his dad?" Rias asked shocked. "Who are you by the way?"

"Oh, that's right the kit only gave you my name and not my title. Well, allow me to introduce myself, I am Kurama, the Kyuubi." He bowed as if he was a prince meeting a princess.

Rias's eyes grew wide, she realized who he was. She bowed, lower than he did, a red blush of embarrassment on her face. "Lord Kyuubi, I had no idea I was speaking so informally with the god of the Yokai. Please forgive my impoliteness."

Kurama laughed. "I like this one Kit, she's entertaining. Please call me Kurama, I insist and none of that Lord stuff. I didn't make myself the god of the Yokai, it just happened that way."

"Thank you very much for the praise, Lord Kyu-I mean Kurama." Rias's face was now matching her hair in color. "If I may ask sir, why are you in Naruto-kun, and how do you know his father?"

"Simple, I know his father because I was sealed in Naruto's mother."

"Sealed, why were you sealed?"

"Long story, short version, it was so I could recover after fighting Apocalypse. I've been sealed in different Uzumakis across the generations. While I was sealed in his mother, she met his father. I could see through her eyes and saw for myself how fast the kits father was. On the night of his birth, I was sealed into him by his father, it took his life to do so." Kurama had a sadness in his voice when talking about Naruto's parents. Kurama decided to keep quiet about a few things from that story.

"I'm sorry to hear that, so do you live by yourself?" Rias asked.

"Yeah, I do now, but not always. The family I do have left are back in Kyoto." He added at the end.

"That's good you grew up with family, but I can't imagine not having parents. I'm sorry."

"It's fine, I had Kurama there to keep me company, then D'draig came along and I have him too."

"Who?" At her question the red gauntlet that is the Boosted Gear appeared on Naruto's arm.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Gremory-san." The green emblem on his hand glowed with the words that were heard.

"That's the Boosted Gear, D'draid is the great Welsh Dragon?"

"Yep, they're my roommates, of sorts."

"Believe me it may be big and empty but the kit's head is really cramped." Kurama jabbed at the blond.

"Hey! That's offensive you fur ball." Naruto grabbed the shirt of his clone, while his clone had an amused smirk on his features.

Rias on the other hand was floored, Naruto just called the god of the Yokai a fur ball. Plus, he had one of the strongest sacred gears in existence. "How?"

"Huh?" All three were brought to the attention of Rias.

"How are you so lucky? You not only have a god sealed inside of you, but you have a literal god killer in your left arm."

"I don't consider myself lucky, the way these two fights, and embarrass me in the process, I say I got the short end of the stick." Rias could not believe what she was hearing. This boy had the potential to be the strongest being in existence. She knows Devils that would kill for that kind of power, and he treats it as an inconvenience.

"I just don't understand you, but you three seem to get along though, that's good." Rias tried to ignore her thoughts of the power the blond possessed, and tried to move on. "Naruto once again I do apologize for how things turned out, but if you have any questions about being a Devil or Devil society feel free to ask."

"Okay, how does this whole reincarnation thing work?" Naruto knew she said something about her peerage members each having special abilities related to the piece she used to turn them.

"Good question, well I told you about each of my members, and the pieces they represent. Let me tell you about your piece."

"Cool so what's mine, like a [Rook] oh, oh, how about a [Knight]?" Naruto was somewhat excited to know about what abilities of his would increase.

"Well, yours is a [Pawn] actually." She sheepishly answered.

"A [Pawn]? What the hell?" In the game of Chess Pawns were just cannon fodder used to lure pieces into traps so the player could easily get to the king.

"Hang on, I did try other pieces, but given that I had little time, the [Pawn] was the only one I had multiples of. It took all eight of them to turn you. It also took a lot out of me as well, seeing as how you have Kurama sealed inside you I can see why it did so."

"You can thank the seal, it doesn't let out my full power, only small amounts. Plus, I held that back so you could save the Kit. Thank you by the way." Kurama once again bowed his head to her.

"Yes, I wish to offer my thanks as well. Naruto could you bow for me?" Naruto bowed for D'draig, Naruto wanted to thank her too.

"Yeah, thanks Rias." Rias was at a loss for words, a god, a dragon, and her new [Pawn] bowed to her in thanks.

"It was no problem. I wish there was another way…" She trailed off, then cleared her throat. "Anyway, the [Pawn] piece may seem bad but it has a unique power as well. When faced with an enemy you can promote to another piece and gain that piece's abilities. So, you are a jack of all trades. It does have its limits though. You can only use it for the number of pieces you are worth, it lasts for about fifteen minutes, there is a forty-five-minute cool down time in between uses for each piece, and once all eight are used you can't use them again for twenty-four hours."

"I take back what I thought about them, [Pawns] are awesome." Naruto's mind was running with all the possibilities that were now open to him.

"I'm glad you feel that way. Tomorrow is Monday, so you'll go back to school. I informed Sona about your absence and situation, as far as the school goes, she has taken care of it. I'm going to head home and tomorrow after school I will tell you all the duties you have as Devil of the Gremory house." Rias stood, then bowed, Naruto stood as well to open the door to his room for her. "Have a good day Naruto-kun I will see you tomorrow. I'd recommend you rest." She waived to him then left out the door.

Naruto heard her leave and sighed. Kurama popped the clone he was using. "You're not going to rest, are you?"

"You know me so well, Kurama." Naruto grinned, he grabbed his phone to turn it on, he wanted to have some music play while he trained. When it came to life it beeped showing that he had a new voicemail and new emails as well. The voicemail was from his grandfather.

Naruto played the voicemail. "Hey kiddo, usually you pick up right away. Well, I'm sure you're just mad at me. Anyway, so I sent you an email. I'm not going to be able to make my visit this time. I know I promised to teach you that new jutsu, so as a sorry I sent the instructions in that email. Once you complete it send me a video. Good luck." The voicemail ended.

"Damn old man, he never has time. I bet he's eyes deep in some hooker." Naruto growled. He was about to chuck his phone, but decided to check the email first. "The Rasengan. So that's the name of the jutsu my dad made?" Naruto read more of the email. "What the hell, water balloons? Okay he must have been drunk when he sent this email."

"Naruto, do what it says, trust me." Kurama reassured the blond.

"What do you know about the Rasengan?"

"Only that the Rasengan was incomplete. From what your father told your mother, he intended to combine his elemental chakra with the technique. But then that night happened and he never got to finish it. I don't know much about the jutsu, just that it is extremely difficult to learn. I remember it took your father five years just to create it."

"Really?" Naruto read the email further. "Wow, gramps says it took him three years to learn it. I wonder if I can learn it faster?"

"With the way you train hatchling, I'm sure you will have it down in no time." D'draig's words motivated the blond.

"You're right, hell yeah I'm going to train my ass off." Naruto made the sign for his favorite jutsu. "Shadow Clone Jutsu." Five blondes appeared in the room. "Okay, let's get to work, first we need to go all around town and buy up every water balloon we can." They all shouted 'yeah' and took off heading in different directions to get water balloons.

"Looks like the kit isn't going to be sleeping much tonight." Kurama chuckled.

"Are you okay?" Rias asked the blond with concern in her voice.

"Yeah, why?" Naruto shoved a sandwich in his mouth, a confused look on his face.

"You were asleep in every class even lunch."

"Oh, that, yeah I'm fine I didn't get any sleep last night, that's all."

"Oh, I was afraid of this." Rias was concerned now. She got up from her position at the desk and in front of everyone present gave him a hug. "I am so sorry that I forced you into this. You should've had a choice, but you didn't." She was teary eye now, tears coming down her face. Everyone in the room was concern, afraid the boy was resentful of their [King]. They feared the worst. "I wish it had gone differently, I really do, if you hate me, that's fine. But I will do everything I can to make sure you are happy and taken care of."

"Okay, while this is nice and all, I didn't lose sleep because of my situation."

"Really?" Everyone asked in shock.

"Yeah, I really don't care about it, you saved my life that's all that matters." Naruto gave them all a smile that eased their minds.

"That's good, sorry about the hug and everything." Rias said sheepishly.

"It's all good. It took me by surprise, but it's cool."

"Then why were you asleep all day?"

"Oh, I was training." Naruto said happily, everyone in the room face planted out of shock.

"Training? All night?"

"Yeah, my gramps sent me instructions on this new justu. I stayed up all night and lost track of time. Before I knew it, the sun was up and it was time for school." Everyone recovered, still in shock that the blond managed to stay up all night training. "I didn't even have time to take a shower." Naruto added.

"Wait, that smell, is you?" Rias asked holding her nose. "I thought Akeno was experimenting with some new food again."

"Hey!" Akeno took offense to that remark.

"Sorry." It didn't sound like she meant it, but they moved past it. "Okay you need to take a shower. There is one in the back room, go now."

"I really don't-"

"Go!/Go!" The entire room, Kurama, and D'draig all shouted at the blond.

"Fine." He was defeated, so he got up and went to the back room to take a shower.

"Take your time, and I'll have your uniform washed and ready for you." Akeno said leading the way to the back-room bath.

"Man, I guess I really needed that shower." Naruto was walking out of the back room with his pants and shoes on but his top half was still bare. It glistened slightly as he walked into the club room. He had the white towel around his shoulders using one side of it to dry his hair while he had his shirt in his other hand. When they heard his voice, they turned to look at him only to blush slightly and turn back away. Mostly the women, Kiba was impressed but a little jealous of the older Blond's physique. He had well defined muscles, even more so thanks to becoming a devil. His skin was sun kissed showing that he spent several hours of the day outside. The only imperfection was the gnarly scar. It was the length of a sword blade that extended out like a starburst. The scar that never healed like his others have.

Naruto didn't seem to be bothered by not having a shirt on, he sat down on the couch and slipped his shirt on, he buttoned it up slightly but left enough opened to keep his body cool after a hot shower. "So, Rias what is it that you wanted to talk about?"

"'Rias'?" Akeno asked looking at her King with a sly smile. "What's that about Buchou?"

"N-nothing, we just decided to be a little less formal..." She hid her eyes as her face matched the color of her hair. Naruto wasn't paying attention. He was instead holding a water balloon while it shifted in his hand. He had a determine look while glaring at the balloon. Rias looked up and noticed Naruto when she realized that he was saying nothing. She thought he was just as embarrassed but when she saw him with a water balloon, she became surprised. "Uhm, Naruto-kun what are you doing."

"Training." Naruto said still looking at the balloon. "Come on...come on...burst...argh! God damn it, ow shit what the hell was that?" Naruto asked he looked around and saw that the others were also rubbing their heads.

"As Devils we cannot say the biblical god's name even in a curse."

"Damn, well there goes most of my vocabulary." He turned his attention back to the balloon.

"Say, what kind of training has you staring at a water balloon?" Rias tilted her head.

"I'm not staring at it; I'm trying to pop it with my chakra. It's a part of this exercise that my gramps sent me an email about. Apparently, I have to pop the balloon with my chakra, only I can't figure it out. My gramps sent me a video but his balloon liked spiked out and then popped. He said in his email that I have to spiral my chakra. So, it's taking a little bit for me to figure out how to do it. This is what I've been doing last night." Naruto explained all while still trying to pop the balloon.

"Oh, okay well I was going to tell you the duties of-yes Koneko?" Rias saw the white hair yokai raise her hand.

"Buchou, I am free today, I was wondering if I could get some training from Senpai." Koneko glanced at the blond. He was so absorbed in his training that he didn't even notice.

"Well, I was wanting to explain to Naruto about his duties as a Devil now and have him hand out flyers. He needs to start getting contracts, plus he needs to practice his magic."

"Oh well we can do all that at once." Naruto said still concentrating on his task. "I was wanting to train as well, so let's do all the above." Naruto sighed when he couldn't get the balloon to pop. He felt he was close, but it didn't budge. "Damn it." He put the balloon down and stood up. "Shadow Clone Jutsu." The blond was surrounded by smoke and four other blonds were with him. "Rias can explain the duties to one clone, while one goes out to hand out flyers, another to train in magic, and one to train Koneko-chan. Meanwhile I can still train with a bunch more clones."

"Uhm, I don't understand how clones would help." Rias asked a bit confused.

"Oh, well the shadow clone jutsu is unique, see when one clone learns something then dismisses, the knowledge goes back to me, the original." He pushed his thumb to his chest. "I use it to train too, cause even experience in chakra carries over, I would assume magic will work as well."

"That's so useful." Rias said in surprise.

"More ways than one." Akeno purred out as she began to think of lewd ways to use the jutsu.

"Just one thing though, physical experience doesn't carry over, and one deadly blow to one and poof it dismisses." Naruto further explained. "So, you go with Koneko-chan and start her training, you go with Himejima-san, you go pass out flyers, and you stay here and listen to Rias explain the duties." Naruto ordered each clone.

Clone one motioned for Koneko to follow him, clone two motioned for Akeno to lead the way, clone three asked where the flyers were then once he had them, he went off to hand them out. Finally clone number four sat back down and waited for Rias to explain the duties of Devils. "Alright well I'm off to do some solo training." Naruto left after the others.

"Okay...Naruto-kun?" Rias was confused.

"It's okay just talk to me normally like the original said, all the knowledge you tell me will be sent to the real one after I dismiss." The clone explains.

"Okay well, let's start with the aftermath of the devil civil war..."

Naruto led Koneko to an area of the school with a lot of trees. "This should do." The clone said, he walked up a tree and grabbed two leaves and jumped back down and landed without making a sound. "Here."

"A leaf?" Koneko asked.

Naruto placed the leaf on his forehead and he let it go, it didn't fall but instead it stayed in place. "This is what's called the leaf exercise, obviously, it's a low-level chakra control exercise that they apparently taught this in the academy at my village. Young ninja hopefuls had to use their chakra to stick the leaf to their forehead. My gramps had me doing this after school when I was four. Most kids are taught this at eight if they had no prior training." Naruto explained the exercise and the origin of it as well.

"Okay." Koneko said simply, she placed the leaf to her head but instead of sticking, it blew off. "Huh? I focused chakra there."

"Yeah but too much though, see too much and it will blow off, too little it won't stick. See the point of this is to control your chakra to a single point, but only a certain amount." All while explaining this the leaf never left his head. "Try again." He motioned for the leaf that was blown away.

Koneko huffed and picked up the leaf. She tried again focusing on a smaller amount of chakra. The leaf blew off again only not as far. "Damn it." She cussed realizing that this simple looking exercise was harder than she first thought it would be. She tried again, focusing on using as little as chakra as possible. She opened her eyes to see that the leaf did not fly off again, she tried to look at her forehead and could see the leaf there. She smiled feeling accomplished, but then the leaf fell. "Huh?" She was confused, she did it right, what happened. She looked at her blond senpai who still had his leaf on his head. His arms were crossed and he was smiling at her.

"Great job Koneko-chan, but not only does it have to stick it has to stay stuck. So not only do you need to focus chakra there, but it needs to be continuous." She looked down trotted, but she felt a large hand on her head. Looking up she saw the smiling face of the blond. "Don't be so down, it's tough at first but you'll get there. Hell, you're getting it faster than I did." Of course, he was four, but he didn't bring up that point. Rubbing her head, it caused Koneko to be fill with hope and confidence.

"Kay." She stated blushing a bit after Naruto took his hand away to give her room to try again. She will get this, she told herself.

With the Naruto clone and Akeno

"So, what type of magic will I be doing?" The clone asked when he and Akeno had gotten to a clearing near the club.

"Eager, aren't we?" Akeno gave him a perverted smile. "Before we do any spells, I want to see what element is best for you to learn." She held out her palm and a ball of yellow lightning formed above a purple magic circle. "Like mine is lightning, so I use lightning spells. Here," She handed the clone a small crystal orb. "This will tell us which element you are." Before Naruto could asked how it would work it started to glow a bluish white.

"What does that mean?"

"It means that you would be more skilled in wind magic. Very interesting, I haven't seen much wind magic users." Akeno explained.

"Great, so which wind spells will I get to learn?"

"Oh, I don't know any, sorry, but even if I did, we would still be focusing on the basics. First you need to draw out your magical energy."

"So, like my chakra?"

"I don't know much about chakra, but I do know that magical energy is different from chakra. As everyone has magic energy inside of them, just some have too little to do anything with. When you became a Devil, your magical energy should have increased enough to use some basic spells." She sat down and got into the lotus position. Naruto did the same but tried not to look at the girls' undergarments. "It's okay, I don't mind you staring." Naruto turned away in a blush.

"I wasn't starring."

She giggled at the Blond's situation. "Moving on, now close your eyes, and feel for you magical energy." She did so and the blond could see that she was shrouded in a yellow-colored energy that surrounded her entire body.

"Whoa..." Naruto was in awe of the energy; he could feel that it wasn't chakra but another kind of energy.

"It's spiritual energy kit, like with chakra you combine the energies of spiritual and physical to make chakra. Just focus on your spiritual energy." Kurama advised the blond.

Naruto nodded and closed his eyes, doing as his partner said, he focused on his spiritual energy within him. Soon a bluish white energy appeared around the blond in a greater amount in then with the brunette. "Amazing, you have quite a bit of magical energy."

"Thanks, Himejima-san, I just focused on my spiritual energy." Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"Hmm, interesting, I would like to know more about that, but first lets focused on some simple spells, like one that you will be using more often than not. The teleportation spell." She went on to explain the details of the spell.

With the Naruto clone and Rias

"I see, so the Devils developed the evil pieces to increase their numbers." Naruto surmised. "So, the flyers that I need to hand out, they are to get contracts?"

"Yes, the more contracts that you get the higher up the rankings you go. The goal for most Devils is to become a high-ranking Devil and build their own peerage."

"Oh, well that's cool, so grow in power, get more contracts, and go up the ranks. Put it like that and it sounds doable."

"Yes, it does." Rias giggled; Naruto chuckled as well. "So, what is your goal?"

"My goal?"

"Yes, like what do you want to do with your life, or do you have a career idea?"

"I...I never really thought about it." Naruto developed a concerned look. "With the whole Four Generals after me, I guess it's to get stronger so I can defeat them. The other night was just against an underling, and I lost my life. I can't imagine what fighting one of the generals would be like." Naruto was down trotted.

"I understand that, I'm sorry. But we can work together to get you stronger so you can beat them." Rias gave the blond a reassuring look.

"Thanks Rias, I appreciate that."

"Don't mention it, well you better go tell the clone that is handing out flyers what the point of it is." Rias informed the clone.

"Oh no worries, what the original forgot to mention, is that when there is more than one clone, when one of the clones dismisses, the information they had gotten will be transferred to all clones."

"That's handy, well it was nice talking to you, make sure you think about your goal after you defeat the four generals." Naruto nodded then popped into smoke.

"That brat is still alive, you're best subordinate failed Pestilence." A large man with tanned skin and a body-builder physique in red armor similar to the Spartans of ancient Greece, glared at a busty woman.

This woman was very skinny with pure white skin, silky long black hair that reached to the small of her back. She wore a black drees that went to the feet, it had a V shape to the top that showed off all her cleavage. "Shut up War, did you forget about the time when one of your own couldn't even kill a baby?" The woman asked.

"You shut it you sadistic bitch, or I'll rip your lips off and shove them right up your-"

"Enough!" A loud slam, as though a pole hitting the ground, was heard after the shout that silence the two fighting Generals. Standing in front of them glaring was a tall man in great shape wearing a black business suit, with a black button up shirt and a black tie. His Tie was held in place by a skull and cross bones tie clip. His black hair was slicked back with some draped over his right eyebrow. In his right hand was a six-foot-long scythe. "You two are proud generals, not a couple of school children arguing about who took the last milk."

"Sorry Death." The two said in unison.

"Why can't you two be more like Famine." He gestured over to a petite girl with skin that was whiter than the bust general. She only wore a green night gown with the picture of a man lying in bed, with a thermometer and an ice pack on his head. Her blue hair was messy and unkept. She was lying on her stomach in front of a TV screen as a girly kiddy anime show was playing. She had her head propped up on her hands while her legs kept moving behind her as she paid close attention to the shoujo anime. "See? She is doing something other than going out and making the boy stronger."

"What? We haven't been making him stronger, we've been trying to kill him." Pestilence argued.

"Yeah, what the bitch said." War agreed leaning back in his chair.

"Let's recap, shall we?" Death said holding up his hand. "You tried to kill him as a baby, but instead of that you just made it to where he had one of the beings that helped to seal away our master sealed inside of the brat." He put up his index finger, then followed by his middle finger continued, gesturing to Pestilence. "You tried to kill him, but instead just made it to where he was turned into a Devil, which is another being that helped to seal away our master." He put his hand down then continue. "I don't want to get to strike three, if this boy gets the power of that bastard God, then we're finished."

"Okay, but if he lives then the prophecy will still come to pass, he needs to be dealt with." War argued, he did bring up a good point, so good even the busty woman had to agree with him.

"For once he's right." Pestilence said earning a glare from the burly man sitting across from her.

"No, we will leave the boy alone, we need to focus on finding the key to set our master free." The two looked as though they were about to argue again. "I have spoken!" He pounded his Scythe on the ground again silencing the two.

Famine looked back at the three, briefly she wondered what they were talking about, but then she heard the main character of the anime's theme song and turned back to focus on the TV.
