Chapter One: Return Of The Master

"Hey guys. Sorry I wasn't able to come this time. My mom really needed me at the store today and wouldn't let me out of her sight." Alexis says as she meets the others by the docks.

"It's okay. We still beat him... even though Lloyd was acting like an open book." Kai says.

"Hey!" Lloyd says annoyedly.

"I'm sure it couldn't of been that bad. Happy birthday Lloyd. I brought you some sweets from the store. It's not much but I made sure to grab your favorites." Alexis says as she hands Lloyd a small bag of sweets.

"Thanks Alexis. You really are my best friend." Lloyd says as he smiles and takes the bag.

"Yeah." Alexis says.

"Hey look everyone! Master Wu is back." Nya says as everyone sees the ship arrive.

"Hello students." Wu says as he comes over.

"How was your trip?" Alexis asks.

"It was a deep spiritual journey that took me to depths inside myself I never knew existed." Wu says.

"So did you see us kick Garmadon's butt?" Kai asks.

"I saw you fight and I saw Garmadon retreat. But you did not defeat him." Wu says.

"What?" The group ask.

"There's nothing ninja about you ninjas." Wu says.

"We're so ninja. I don't know what you're talking about." Jay says.

"You will never truly defeat Garmadon until you see things from a different point of view. You have the power to win the battle without fighting. When you start using your mind you won't need mechs and machines. Your call signs are not just cool names. They are the elemental powers you were all born with. Nya you can create water on your own. And Kai you are fire! Jay you are lightning. Cole you are earth. Alexis you are the ninja of harmony and can control all elements. And Zane you are ice. These elemental powers are why I chose you to form the Secret Ninja Force. It is the highest level that you can achieve as a ninja. I wrote a book about it. It's called Ninjanuity. Copyright Master Wu." Wu says as he holds up a book.

"And what about me? What am I?" Lloyd asks.

"Lloyd, yours is the most important element of all." Wu says.

"Okay. Hit me with it." Lloyd says excitedly.

"Your elemental power is green." Wu says.

"What's that?" Lloyd asks.

"Green." Wu says.

"Okay so uh just to recap. Fire. Ice. Water. Earth. Harmony. Lightning. And... Green. Don't think it's an element though." Lloyd says as he babbles on.

"Enough Lloyd. Come with me for mentor talk. The rest of you practice Spinjitzu." Wu says as he leaves with Lloyd.

*Timeskip*

"So how did the talk go?" Alexis asks as she is walking with Lloyd later at night.

"Well he didn't make any sense. But when does he ever make sense?" Lloyd asks.

"You know how Wu is. Loves the be a literal riddle." Alexis says.

"Tell me about it. Least he isn't you uncle on top of it. I just wish I knew what to do about my dad. I hate being his son." Lloyd says annoyedly.

"Lloyd." Alexis says as she looks at Lloyd.

"No Alexis. I hate being Garmadon's son. You know how badly the city people treat me. Yet when I'm the green ninja they act like I'm a hero. I'm not a hero. Not real one anyway." Lloyd says as he looks down.

"Lloyd at least you have your parents." Alexis says.

"Oh yeah. I forgot you were adopted by a woman after losing your parents as a pup." Lloyd says.

"Lloyd you have no idea how much I hate myself due to being the reason my parents aren't around. I would give almost anything to have my parents back." Alexis says as she looks at Lloyd.

"What's the thing you wouldn't give up?" Lloyd asks curiously.

"You and the others. You guys are my family. I'd never want to lose you." Alexis says as she smiles.

"We wouldn't want to lose you either Alexis." Lloyd says as he smiles.

"Besides Lloyd you may not think you're a hero but you're my hero if nothing else." Alexis says happily.

"Thanks Alexis. What would I do without you? I should head home. My mom will be worried if I don't." Lloyd says.

"Goodnight Lloyd." Alexis says as she smiles at Lloyd.

"Night Alexis." Lloyd says as he and Alexis go their seperate ways.
