It was now the Easter holidays, and Harry was getting ready to go meet up with Remus Lupin. He was quite nervous as to meet someone who had known his parents. He hoped that the man didn't want him to be too much like his parents, because he had heard that there were quite a few things that were different. He dressed in some simple clothes, he knew that come the summer holidays, he would probably need to buy new robes, but he also wanted to buy some muggle clothes, he needed some to do his training, so he guessed that it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

When he was finished, he headed out of his dormitory and went down to the common room where he found Hermione sitting on the sofa which was in front of the fire. As he reached her, he gained a seat next to her, and they sat in silence for a bit. Hermione was reading her book, Harry was in silent contemplation, he was working out some of the things he could ask, he had come up with a load of questions when he had first received the letter, but they seemed to escape his mind.

Hermione noticed his hands fumbling around, hoping to find something to do. "Calm down Harry, it's going to be fine, I'm sure he'll tell you loads of things about your parents." His hands just seemed to fidget even more at this.

"Yeah but what if he thinks that they wouldn't be proud of me ? What if -" he was going to continue, but was cut off by Hermione.

"I'm sure they are proud of you Harry, " she began, he knew that he shouldn't be worried about anything, but he couldn't help himself, he didn't want to disappoint his parents, or his parents' friends "there's no way they couldn't be, you've proven that you are quite powerful, and even intelligent when you want to be, there's nothing to be worried about." She sent him a smile, and he nodded, she had given him a bit more confidence. He looked at the time, and he noticed it was time to leave. He got up rather slowly, before letting out a deep breath and making his way to the door to Ravenclaw tower. He sent a small wave and a smile to Hermione which she reciprocated, and he left.

He had just left the tower, and was on the fourth floor leading away from the Ravenclaw common room, and on the bench where Hermione had sat after the Quirell incident, Neville was seated. He seemed to be waiting for Harry, because as soon as he came into view, he got up and went over to him.

"Hey Harry ! I thought that I'd accompany you to Dumbledore's office, I'm not very hungry anyways." Neville said as reached his friend.

"Hey Neville ! I mean if you're sure you're not hungry, then by all means join me. How was your sleep ?" He wanted to keep the conversation light, he didn't think he could handle a full day of paying his fullest attention to everything.

"It was okay, wasn't the worst I've had here, but surely wasn't the best." He replied. Harry remembered the time when Neville was sleeping so well that he had missed two hours of lessons, he had lost Griffindor 30 points, and the rest of the house didn't seem too happy with him, but that had faded away, he had gained well enough points to cover his mistake, especially in Herbology. "What about you ?"

"I barely slept if I'm honest, I was trying to work out what to say to him. I know that I fell asleep at some point, but I'm not sure when." He replied to his blond friends question. He was quite tired, but he wouldn't be able to sleep if he tried. He had hesitated to brew up a quick sleeping draught, but he decided against the idea when he realised that he didn't have the necessary ingredients on him.

They continued they little chats until they reached the gargoyle leading to the Headmasters office. "Sherbet lemon" Harry said. Neville looked at him in confusion, until he realised that what Harry had just said, was the password to the headmaster's office. He said farewell to his friend and headed to the Great Hall.

Harry however went the other way, to the Headmaster's office. He reached the door that lead him inside, and he heard two voices, seemingly having a nice little chat. Harry took a deep breath, and knocked. He needn't wait long, as a couple of seconds after he had knocked, the door opened. He looked up at a man who had shabby clothes that, Harry guessed, had seen better days, he had light brown hair, but there was a presence of grey in the mix. He looked quite young, he had eyes that were green flecked with golden spots, but he seemed to be ill and exhausted. A big smile adorned the man's face, and it made his eyes sparkle.

"Hello Harry, I'm Remus John Lupin" he said extending his hand towards the boy.

"Nice to meet you sir, I'm- "

"No need for the sir business, and I know who you are. Even if I didn't know you were coming, I'd have recognised you, not from your scar, but your eyes, they were your mother's." A look of sadness crossed the man's entire face. Harry knew that the man must have been in quite a bad state when he had first learned of his friends' deaths, the look he had when he spoke their names showed that much.

There was a little bit of an awkward silence until it was broken by Dumbledore. "I'm sorry to say that you must be off, I have some business to attend to. If you'll please head over to the floo." With this, Harry and Remus went to the floo. Harry didn't know what he was meant to do as he had never used this method of transport before.

"You first Harry, well go to Diagon Alley, I'll place some charms on you, so you don't look like you when we get there." Remus said.

"I don't actually know how to..." he said pointing at the fire. The man in front of him seemed to understand.

"Ah yes well, you just have to grab a pinch of floo powder, throw it into the flames while you say 'Diagon Alley' very clearly and after that, you walk into the flames. Make sure to get out the right gate, keep your elbows tucked in, and tour eyes closed. Don't fidget and don't panic, it'll all be fine. Got it ?" Harry nodded at this, and grabbed a pinch of the glittering dark grey powder, that the headmaster held in a small bowl, and walked into the fireplace. He did as he was told, and he was engulfed in green flames.

It was a weird sensation, and he opened his eyes to see when to exit, he found out that it was a bad idea to do it for too long. At some point, he felt a small tug, and guessed that it meant that this was his exit. He walked forward and found himself in a grate at the entrance to the Alley had had visited not even a year ago.

Around 30 seconds later, Remus exited his grate, and grabbed his wand and getting rid of the soot that was on his clothes. He went over to Harry and did the same. He looked around quickly before mentioning for Harry to go into the little alley that was to the side. He pointed his wand at Harry's face, Harry got a bit nervous at this and flicked his wrist. Remus lifted his hands in surrender. "I'm only going to apply some Charms to hide your identity, don't worry."

Harry felt stupid at his announcement and lowered his wand. Remus approached once again, and applied some Charms. "That should do" he said pocketing his wand. "Come on, let's go get some ice cream." Together they made their way towards Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.

"So Harry, tell me, how has your life been until now ?" Remus asked. Instantly, he thought that it probably wasn't the best question to ask, going by the look on Harry's face. "I'm sorry I- "

"It's okay." Harry assured the man, he hadn't shared what his childhood had been like to anyone yet, he thought that Hermione and Neville would have been the first people he told, but he wanted to be able to share some things with his parents' friend. "It wasn't very good until I got my letter actually, before I got my letter, I used to sleep in a cupboard under the stairs," a furious look crossed Remus' face at this declaration " I had to do all the chores, cleaning, cooking, gardening and other things. I wasn't always fed, sometimes they'd make me go without a meal" he didn't know why but now that he had started on the subject, he found that he couldn't stop, it was like he was becoming lighter as he spoke. Remus seemed to get even angrier at everything he said, he felt like going to the boy's relatives and murdering them. "Don't worry about it though, after I first came to Diagon Alley, they stopped because I threatened them with a few curses, not like I knew many at the time, just a few that I had learnt the night before."

"Don't they know that you can't do magic outside of school ?" Remus asked surprised at the ignorance of Lily's sister.

"Yes they do, but what they didn't know was that I was emancipated, so I could do magic." he looked up to see the shocked face of Remus Lupin.

"You've already been emancipated ? It thought that you would have had to wait until your fourteenth birthday." he said with utter shock on his face.

"Normally I would have, but seems the Peverell side allows me to become Lord of the house at the age of eleven, well I became Lord Potter and Peverell, I am also Heir to the Black family." At this Remus stopped in his tracks. He seemed lost and confused. His mouth was agape, and he was blinking far more than usual. "Are you okay Remus ?" Harry asked, worry evident in his voice.

"You said the Black family ?" Harry nodded at this. "But Sirius Black betrayed your parents, why would he make you heir ?"

Now it was Harry's turn to be confused. He knew he had read something about Sirius Black, and he was trying to figure out where. He looked down the alley and saw Gringott's, and it clocked to him. "Come Remus, I need to go see the goblins at Gringott's." The man seemed confused at this but followed nonetheless. They walked in silence, Remus thinking rapidly for some sort of reason behind what he had just learnt. Before he even knew it, they arrived at the bank and were heading inside. The large marble hall greeted them, and they made their way over to one of the tellers.

"Good afternoon sir," Harry began "would it be possible to see Sir Ragnok please ?" The goblin looked at him somewhat impressed. It was rare to find a wizard who respected them, and this boy respected them more than nearly any wizards of the current time. Remus was equally surprised as the goblin, he knew what it was like to be shunned by the society.

"Yes, but I must ask for a name."

"Harry Potter"

The goblin's eyes widened at this, all the goblins knew the Potter family to be a wealthy one, and they had to treat the wealthy families well. "Very well Lord Potter, if you would please wait here for a moment. Harry nodded, and the goblin left. Harry and Remus waited in silence, too deep in their own thoughts to talk to each other.

A couple of minutes later, the rather older looking goblin came up to them. "Ah Lord Potter, if you and your colleague would follow me. They went over to the administration corridor again and into Ragnok's office. They all sat down, Harry and Remus upon Ragnok's permission.

"May your gold flow freely, and your blades never dull, Sir Ragnok"

"May your enemies fall by your hands, and all of your requests be granted, Lord Potter. It's good to see you Mr Potter, I didn't think that we would be seeing you so soon, I was just thinking of writing to you about a business opportunity." Ragnok began, Harry had completely forgotten that he had the possibility to invest in businesses, and so hadn't thought much on the subject.

"First, I introduce you to my companion, Remus Lupin." The man bowed to the Goblin who returned the gesture "About the business, can we see that later, there is a matter I wanted to discuss with you." the goblin's eyebrows rose at this. "You see when I was here last time, I had read something about Sirius Black and my inheritance, I was wondering it I could see the documents you showed me the last time."

The goblin looked confused at this but agreed nonetheless. "I believe it is your will you was looking for. First however, you must both go through the identification test first once, just to be sure." Harry nodded his understanding and pulled out two bronze bowls with a piece of parchment in them, along with a knife each. The two men dropped three drops of blood into their bowls respectively, and they glowed a light golden colour and their fingers healed. The goblin looked at both of the pieces of parchment and nodded.

"I'll only be a moment, I will go fetch the will." Without waiting for a response, he left.

"Why are we here Harry, and why do you need your parents will ?" Remus asked the boy sat next to him.

"I can't remember, but I had read something about a Sirius Black and a Peter, I believe back when I first came here."

"Yes Harry, Sirius Black killed Peter Pettigrew after he betrayed your parents to the Dark Lord." Something just seemed wrong to Harry, he didn't know why but something seemed off. At that moment, Ragnok came back through the door and handed the will over to Harry.

I, Lily Jade Potter née Evans, being of sound mind and health, declare this as my last Will and Testament. Any prior wills made by me are now null and void

Remus couldn't believe what he had just read. If this was correct, his friend who he once believed a traitor, had been wrongfully imprisoned for 10 years, and another friend, who he had mourned, was in fact the reason for two of his best friends' deaths, and for the imprisonment of another. Saying Remus was fuming would be an understatement, he felt like bringing back the rat to life and killing it himself. But that was the problem, Sirius was still guilty of killing the 13 muggles and Peter. He didn't know what to do, and it seemed neither did Harry.

Harry handed over the will to Ragnok, and they sat in silence for a bit.

"Mr Potter, if you don't mind, I would like to propose my business proposal, it won't take long, afterwards, you and Mr. Lupin can have some time to talk about whatever it is that seems to have stumped you, although I think I know." Harry nodded at this, and Ragnok launched himself into his business idea. "Well you see, there is this shop which is being opened in the Alley which proposes a variety of armour made from dragon scales and other resistant materials. However, he seems to be short of funds and this, I believe, would be a great opportunity to take. Not only will it garner quite a sum of money for you, but you would also be able to be fit with the best armour there is, and considering what you got yourself involved in at the school not long after Christmas, it would come in handy."

Harry thought about this, he knew he definitely had the money to do it, and it would give him the opportunity to have some armour. He was trying to find some sort of inconvenience, not because he didn't want to invest in it, but because he wanted to be sure of what he was doing. After a short while of thinking, nothing had come up. "I agree, but I must ask you to take care of the deal, offer him enough to get us 30% of his business, I don't want less than 15%, and offer him what you can for it, as long as you consider it worthwhile." Harry said, surprising himself that he had thought of the deal in such a short amount of time.

"Very good Lord Potter, now if that is all, I have some business to attend to." They all said their farewells to the other party, and went their separate ways.

"I must send an owl to the Ministry of Magic, we might be able to do something for your Godfather Harry" Remus said with a smile on his face, he hoped that he would be able to get at least one of his friends back.

"How about we have lunch, you tell me a bit about my parents, and then you can send your letter, and I'll go back to Hogwarts." Remus quickly agreed to this, after all, this day was meant for Harry and Remus to talk to each other, and it was an opportunity for Harry to learn about his family too.

They both walked into the Leaky Cauldron, and ordered some fish and chips each, along with a butter beer. The butter beer was different, but Harry really liked it, it filled his body with warmth. During lunch, Harry heard some funny and some embarrassing stories about his parents, but he also heard about a lot of pranks from his father's and his friends' group called the Marauders. Harry had enjoyed himself, and looked forward to the next time that he would see the man, hopefully there would also be his Godfather with them, he was the biggest prankster in the group, along with his father of course.

As they finished their meals, they remained at the table, and spoke a bit more before Remus said that he had to leave. He accompanied him to the fireplaces where Harry would be able to go back, and removed the charms places upon the young boy. Before leaving Remus pulled him aside.

"I had fun today, but just so it isn't a surprise to you, I have this condition you see, which means that I cannot find a stable job, that is one of the reasons that I couldn't take you in." he took a deep breath, and used all of his Griffindor courage and told Harry the truth. "I'm actually a werewolf." Harry was shocked at this, but it didn't seem to tarnish the image he had garnered for the man in front of him.

"It's okay, it doesn't really bother me" he smiled at the man, and he engaged in a hug with him, Remus didn't hesitate for a second before hugging the boy back, he knew what it was like growing up with people who didn't like you, but for him at least it was his parents, and he wasn't abused. He was glad that Harry was going to Potter Manor this summer, st least there the house elves could take care of him.

After their hug, they went their separate ways, and Remus wished he could have taken care of the boy from the beginning, but knew it wouldn't have been safe. When he returned to his apartment, he went straight to his desk, he had an important letter to write.
