this is the first day of me attempting to write a very small (min. 100 words) fic based on a one word prompt every day for October! I don't think I'm going to do lyrics for these but today check out Trust by half alive!
Trust could be a tricky thing.
Even in the most normal of circumstances, it meant relying completely on someone else and believing that they'd do whatever it was that they said they would. In the best of circumstances, trusting another person did not guarantee that they would keep their word and prove worthy of that trust.
In the case of Sapphira Adi, misplaced trust would mean her death.
Because of this, it may come as a shock that she never once hesitated to give her trust. It was the only way she could be killed- through the betrayal of someone she trusted- and she knew it, but she trusted anyway.
In Sapphira's circumstance, trust was even trickier of a thing than it was in normal circumstances. But that was never a factor in her decisions.
Time and time again, she trusted. She put her trust in people she'd only just met and chose to trust again in people she'd known long.
And her life was all the better for it.
