4x02 – Charmed again
[Scene: Manor. Next morning. Kitchen. Piper retrieves an ice pack from the freezer and places it gently on Leo's neck. Leo holds it against his sore neck.]
Piper: I don't understand how you can keep healing innocents, but you can't figure out a way to heal yourself.
Leo: It's kind of hard to heal myself when I'm knocked out. (Prue walks in.)
Prue: Leo, how is possible for an angel to even get knocked out? I mean, you are, after all, technically dead.
Leo: Three years together, and now you're asking these questions?
Prue: Well...
Piper: I think the more appropriate question is, how does a white-lighter get somebody knocked up? (Prue lets out a giggle.)
Leo: What's that supposed to mean?
Piper: What do you think it means?
Leo: If it's about having children…
Piper: Shhh. I was joking. (To Prue) How's Phoebe?
(Prue is about to answer something and then Phoebe walks in)
Phoebe: Phoebe is fine… Stop worrying about me.
Prue: Honey, we care about you. And you never passed out after a vanquishing before. It's normal to be worried.
Phoebe. Don't be, seriously. I was just exhausted for being in the Underworld for such a long time. Now that I've slept, I'm more than ok.
Piper: Are you sure?
Phoebe: Yup, nothing to worry about. Cole and I are going out. To have a walk, relax, spend time together… It was his idea.
Prue: You think you're really okay to go out?
Phoebe: Sure. And I'll be with Cole. If something happens, he'll bring me home.
Prue: Okay then. But if you feel bad again, call us, hm?
Phoebe: Okay big sis. (She leaves the kitchen after fake a smile and Piper and Prue look at each other, concerned.)
Piper: Should we worry? (The doorbell rings.)
Prue: Maybe it's The Source asking for Shax.
Piper: Not funny at all (She goes to answer the door. Prue and Leo follow. Piper greets Darryl at the door and lets him in.)
Darryl: Hi Piper.
Piper: Hi there. (Piper closes the door and Darryl looks around.)
Darryl: I thought you should know - they're assigning Dr. Griffith's case to another inspector.
Leo: What case?
Darryl: What case? Are you kidding? A prominent doctor was killed here, Leo. Made a lot of press. People want answers. Important people.
Prue: So, what's this guy gonna find? That it was a demonic hitman?
Darryl: He might. Look, you don't know him like I do. He'll keep looking until he finds something, believe me.
Piper: Should we worry?
Prue: You ask that quite a lot lately, sis.
Leo: Well, I am and you should too. I saw what happened when you were exposed as witches. Time may have reversed itself, but it still cost an innocent's life and almost yours.
Prue: Okay so, what is he going to do?
Darryl: He'll come today to talk to you two. I told him the doctor was a friend of yours and that he was seeing you at home.
Piper: And then he was killed by…
Darryl: That's the best I could do, guys…
Prue: You know what, Darryl? We are going to take care of this whole mess, I promise. But now I think you have to go before Cortez gets here and sees you.
Darryl: Wait a second. Hold...
Prue: You don't worry about it. (She escorts Darryl out the door and then joins the others.)
Piper: Okay. Maybe you can talk to the Inspector, reason with him.
Prue: And what if I can't? What if we get exposed or accused of murder?
Piper: Well it's a risk we'll have to take.
Leo: There's another risk you guys have to worry about. The Elders noticed a hearing of gargoyles since last night.
Piper: Gargoyles? You mean like statues?
Leo: That's only in they're in their resting state. They come alive to ward off evil. In this case, The Elders think they're trying to ward off the Source. I think he's surfaced.
Prue: Wait - what? He's here? Now? Where?
Leo: I don't know. Could be anywhere. Or anyone. We don't know why he's here, but we must be very careful from now on.
Prue: Leo, we are not in the best position to go against him now. Since Phoebe returned from the underworld, I feel she's in trouble and not at the 100%.
Leo: You might if you find out what's happening to her.
Piper: She left with Cole and as I can see, she didn't bring her phone with her.
Prue: Can you sense her?
Leo (trying to sense Phoebe): I can't sense her. But I sense she's alive.
Piper: What do you mean you can't sense her?
Leo: I don't know… It's like something's blocking my sensing in her.
Prue: That was what I was talking about. I think she's been affected by the Underworld and The Source more than we thought.
Piper: And what are we going to do?
Prue: Let's get things one by one. I'll take care of Cortez and you go to the attic and start scrying for Phoebe, okay?
Piper: Prue…
Prue: What? Piper, I'm not crazy about it, either, but we can't just do anything about it - now. We need to get this family together again, fast.
[Scene: Golden Gate Park. Cole/Source is having a walk with Phoebe.]
Phoebe: I think it was a good idea to go out together. At least we can be alone and not in the Underworld for a while.
Cole/Source: Well, aren't you going to tell me what happened last night?
Phoebe: No. It's nothing.
Shane/Source: It seemed like something to me. You were pretty scared.
Phoebe: Let's just say that when we vanquished Shax I felt something inside like boiling… Like something dark growing inside of me. Look, can we just talk about this later?
Cole/Source: Of course. Hey, I will take good care of you, Phoebe. (Cole/Source and Phoebe are about to kiss but they break apart when a bird near them screeches very loudly.)
Phoebe: Woa, I should get to somewhere. I think it's what I need to calm completely and not freak out again like last night. But I need to go alone. (Phoebe heads for the car and Cole/Source raises a glowing red hand at Phoebe's direction.)
Cole/Source: Well, I know how badly you want to find answers about the Underworld and all you suffered there. (Phoebe stops and turns around.)
Phoebe: How did you know about that?
Cole/Source: Well, I know you, remember? You want to try every option you have.
Phoebe: Right. Okay. You can go home if you want. I'll call you and we can go lunch if you feel up to it.
Cole/Source: Count on it. (Phoebe leaves in her car. Cole/Source turns to the bird and sets him on fire leaving a burnt corpse behind in the birdcage. Cole/Source disappears in a fiery display.)
[Cut to Manor. Piper is scrying in the attic with Leo and Prue]
Prue: Anything?
Piper: Nothing. I don't understand. It should have been easy to find her.
Prue: Maybe what's blocking Leo it's blocking our magic too (the ring doll bells).
Piper: What time is it?
Prue: Almost one. I'll go, if I need you, I'll call, kay? (She leaves the attic and goes to open the door, finding Inspector Cortez there).
Cortez: Inspector Cortez. Prue Halliwell?
Prue: Yes, come in please.
Cortez (going in and looking at the house): Nice house.
Prue: Thanks. Have a sit please. (They sit front to front in the living room).
Cortez: I think you know why I'm here.
Prue: Of course, we've been in collaborating with the police and bringing all the information they needed about what happened.
Cortez: Dr. Griffiths was killed here brutally, miss Halliwell. At first, I thought it was a monster by the damages the body had.
Prue: Monster?
Cortez: Well, that's what he was, or what I thought he was - how else do you describe somebody so vicious?
Prue: And why don't you think it's still a monster which did that?
Cortez: Because of your statements. You and your sisters have been involved in many unresolved cases, Ms. Halliwell. And some of them include deaths and murders very similar to Dr. Griffith's case.
Prue: So? We've been collaborating in resolving cases for three years now.
Cortez: I know that too. And I know about your special relationship with Inspector Morris. And I have to tell you that won't save you this time.
Prue: What do you mean?
Cortez: What happened exactly to Dr. Griffiths and why was he here that day?
Prue: I thought Inspector Morris had told you everything about that.
Cortez: I want to hear it from your mouth personally.
Prue: Dr. Griffiths was a friend of ours. He attended some illness we had sometimes. And the day he died, he was attending my sister, who was not feeling good.
Cortez: What happened to her?
Prue: Some kind of flu.
Cortez: That's all? And he died spontaneously?
Prue: That's all we know, as you might know by now, my sisters and I were knocked out by the person who did that to him.
Cortez: And you are here alive talking with me and he is buried six feet under.
Prue: What are you accusing us, exactly?
Cortez: I'm not accusing you yet, Ms. Halliwell. But I'm sure you're not telling all the truth.
Prue: I think you need to go now.
Cortez: Fine, but just for your interest… I'll be watching you and your sisters' activities from now on. I will not stop until I figure out what happened here (he leaves the house and Piper and Leo enter the living room).
Piper: We found Phoebe… (Prue looks a little shocked). Prue? What happened? Everything is fine with Cortez?
Prue: No, it's not. He suspects we killed Cortez.
Piper: What?
Leo: It's the version it makes more sense now.
Prue: He will be watching our steps, so we need to be extremely cautious, kay? Now we have to go find Phoebe (they leave the house in a rush).
[Cut to Phoebe entering a church. There is a gargoyle statue. Phoebe makes her way to approach a nun.]
Phoebe: Excuse me. Are you Sister Agnes?
Sister Agnes: Yes. And who might you be?
Phoebe: I'm Phoebe. Phoebe Halliwell.
Sister Agnes: No.
Phoebe: You might not remember me. I probably changed a little bit since you last saw me and my sister. My mom used to come here sometimes. Does that ring any bells?
[Time lapse. Phoebe and Sister Agnes are in a little office. They are sitting one in front the another.]
Sister Agnes: I was just about your age, when I knew your mother. (She puts the box on the table.)
Phoebe: Really?
Sister Agnes: She was so sweet. And sometimes she brought you and your sisters to the church.
Phoebe: Yeah, I barely remember. I was very little.
Sister Agnes: Yes, you were a baby then. What I was told by your mother is that you were very special kids. That you would do very magical things some time. She wanted to protect you from danger.
Phoebe: Danger? What kind of danger?
Sister Agnes: Well, she didn't say at all. But I could tell from their pain that it must be very real.
Phoebe: But how could she know?
Sister Agnes: She asked me about some of the statements made in the Bible. Thinks about the Underworld, about demons, about The Source of evilness. Your mother was very worried you could be seduced by evil. (Someone knocks on the office door and Prue and Piper enters.) Yes, may I help…
Piper: Hi. (She freezes Sister Agnes.) Hey, what's up? We need to get you out of here.
Phoebe: What are you doing here?
Prue: Oh, she'll be fine, you know it.
Piper: Yeah. Lucky, I didn't blow her up. My powers have been a little off lately.
Prue: Phoebe, are you okay? (she tries to stroke Phoebes hair but she rejects her action with her hand).
Phoebe: You shouldn't have come here. Leave me alone! (She turns to leave.)
Piper: All right! Gee. (Prue and Piper follow Phoebe.)
Prue: Phoebe. Phoebe. Phoebe.
Piper: Phoebe, please. Talk to us.
Phoebe: Will you please just leave me alone? (Phoebe continues to walk towards the main exit.)
Prue: Look, we know what you're confused. But we need to take you home and talk about all this.
Piper: Look. You just gotta trust us. (Phoebe stops and turns around.)
Phoebe: I don't know who I trust anymore.
Piper: Are you kidding?
Prue: Piper. (Phoebe turns to leave.)
Piper: What? Fine. Then you try.
Prue: (To Phoebe) Phoebe, we are your sisters. We love you. We are the Charmed Ones and you have a magical power, remember? (Phoebe stops and turns. Prue and Piper come closer to Phoebe to talk.) We know that what you went throw in the underworld was shocking and terrible. But we want to help you. We are your sisters, we're here for you.
Phoebe: I'm so confused right now. Here I feel better than out.
Piper: What do you mean?
Phoebe: Since I returned… I have been having nightmares and feeling bad. Like… dark. I didn't want to worry you guys.
Prue: We are sisters. We protect each other. You don't have to run away from us.
Piper: You need to remember all the good we have made. Maybe that will help you.
Phoebe: Well, I don't know. I'm still being confused. I think I want to talk to Cole.
Prue: Cole? And what about us? The Source's surfaced and we need to be careful.
Piper: Prue.
Phoebe: That's all that matters to you, Prue? The Source? Demons?
Prue: What matters is to still being alive. The three of us, united and together.
Phoebe: Yeah, sure.
[Cut to outside. Cole/Source appears in a ball of fire and walks toward the church.]
Cole/Source: She better be here, Oracle. I'm running out of time.
Oracle: (as a voice) She is. Don't worry.
(Cole/Source stops and spots the gargoyle. The gargoyle screeches and Cole/Source drops to the ground covering his ears screaming in pain.)
Cole/Source: No!
[Cut to inside. Prue, Piper and Phoebe hear the noise.]
Phoebe: What is that?
Prue: I don't know.
[Cut to outside. Cole/Source's hand glows read and the doors open.]
Cole/Source: Phoebe.
Phoebe: Cole? (She rushes to help him.) What's the matter? My god, what happened?
Cole/Source: I don't know. Someone's after me. (She helps him up.)
Prue: Phoebe! (Prue and Piper run after Phoebe.)
Phoebe: Come on. Let's get out of here.
Prue: Phoebe! Come back! (Cole/Source turns and fires a red bolt at Piper and Prue. Piper and Prue scream and go flying backwards, sliding their way to the inside of the front of the church.) Whoo!
Piper: What the hell was that?
Sister Agnes: Good question.
[Cut to scene: San Francisco PD Station. Cortez he makes his way to a phone. Darryl comes over to him.]
Darryl: Cortez, where you've been?
Cortez: (Into the phone) This is Inspector Cortez. I need a surveillance team around the clock. I'll take one shift.
Darryl: What are you doing?
Cortez: What I said I'd do before you convinced me to talk to the sisters.
Darryl: You're making a big mistake, Inspector. You have no idea what you're doing.
Cortez: You want to bet? (Into the phone) 1329 Prescott Street. Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell. They're murder suspects. Yeah, thanks. (Darryl grabs Cortez as he hangs up the phone.)
Darryl: Hey, listen Cortez. (He points at Darryl.)
Cortez: Let go of me. (Darryl does.) You make me sick. How long have you been covering up for them, huh? How many other murders have you ignored just to protect them? You're a disgrace to that shield, my friend. (Darryl pins him up to the wall.)
Darryl: This isn't the first time I've risked my career for those girls - my life, my family! They're the best people I've ever met, and they'll do more good than you'll ever know. (Two inspectors pull Darryl away from Cortez.)
Cop 1: Hey, hey inspector, ease up.
Cop 2: Hey, you all right?
Darryl: I'm good. I'm good.
[Scene: Manor. Conservatory. Prue and Piper are sitting on the couch. Leo is pacing in front of them with his arms folded.]
Leo: So the Source was there, at the church?
Prue: Well, the gargoyles weren't exactly whistling Dixie, Leo. We think Cole is possessed by him.
Piper: Plus, something pretty powerful knocked us on our asses.
Prue: But if he was there, why didn't he try to kill Phoebe?
Piper: Maybe he didn't want to go up against the Charmed Ones.
Prue: No, that doesn't make sense. He knows Phoebe now; he must have done something to her in the Underworld.
Leo: Wait a minute. What if he's not trying to kill her anymore? What if he's trying to lure her to his side?
Piper: Translation please?
Leo: There's a window of opportunity, an opening and a venom of darkness.48 hours where a witch who has been infected by the venom has to choose to use her powers for good or evil and can be swayed either way.
Prue: Wait, so all he has to do is cast a spell on her?
Leo: No, he can't. It has to be her choice, but he can tempt her, entice her. If he gets her to use her powers for evil… She becomes evil forever. (Prue sighs.)
Piper: Who makes up these cockamamie rules? Oh, never mind…
Prue: Okay, so we have less than 24 hours to get to Phoebe and no idea how to find her.
Piper: But I bet the Source does.
[Scene: Cole's old apartment. It's empty, but The Source is making an illusion for Phoebe. She is sitting on the couch with a blanket. Cole/Source brings her a glass of water and sits down next to her.]
Cole/Source: Here.
Phoebe: Thanks. (She takes a sip of her water.) I'm so sorry to involve you in all of this.
Cole/Source: All of what? Phoebe… (Phoebe puts down her glass.) What's going on?
Phoebe: I don't know. I'm so confused. I don't know what to do.
Cole/Source: Hey, you don't have to know. You're safe here… with me. (They kiss.) (In Paige's head) I'll take care of you.
[Scene: Manor. Attic. Prue is looking at Cortez, who's leaning against his car parked outside the Manor. Piper, and Leo are at the Book of Shadows.]
(Piper closes the book.)
Piper: This is useless. We're never gonna find Phoebe without a little help. (The book opens on its own and flips through the pages. It stops on one page.) Works everytime. Okay, an enchantment spell. Wait. How is this gonna help find her?
Prue (coming beside Piper): Well, maybe it's not to find Phoebe. Maybe it's so we can ID the source. See the last line? It's, "So she can reveal the evil within."
Piper: But that'll only help if we can find him?
Leo: Maybe we can, or at least, maybe you can.
Prue: What do you mean?
Leo: Remember when Phoebe fainted? She hurt her forehead. If you use her blood and she is infected by The Source's venom, you will find him.
Piper: Okay. So we need something to enchant.
Prue: Right, um… (Everyone looks around. Prue spots something.) Oh! (She goes over to a shelf and finds a pair of pink kiddy sunglasses.) How about these?
Piper: Oh Prue.
Prue: What? They're perfect.
Piper: Oh great. (They both hold either side of the sunglasses.)
Prue/Piper: "Magic forces far and wide, Enchant these so those can't hide, Allow this witch to use therein, So she can reveal the evil within."
(The glasses lenses' grow.)
Prue: Hmm.
Piper: Okay. You think it worked?
Prue: There's only one way to find out.
[Scene: Cole's old apartment. Bathroom. Phoebe comes out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her and goes to the medicine cabinet. She hears Cole/Source voice. She stares in the mirror.]
Cole/Source: You know who you are now Phoebe. This is (his voice goes demonic) where your destiny lies. It lies not with your sister witches. (He appears behind her.) It's for no one but you. This is what you've been searching for your whole life. This is why you have the power. Use your power for your desires, to seek your own revenge. (The image disappears.) Use your power. Call for a human heart. Call for a life. (He disappears. Phoebe holds up her hand and has a manipulated premonition about a father hitting his son.)
[Scene: Street. People are walking. Phoebe is there and follows someone. A couple go towards their car. Phoebe holds out her hand.]
Phoebe: Heart. (The man clutches his heart in pain.)
Woman: Jake, what is it? (He falls to the ground as he doubles over.) No!
[Cut to other side of parking lot. Piper pulls up in her jeep with Prue and Leo in it. They all get out and look around.]
Prue: I don't see Phoebe anywhere.
Piper: Are you sure this is the right place?
Prue: The Source is here. The crystal never fails.
Leo: Wait. There she is. (Prue puts on the sunglasses and sees a black aura around Phoebe.)
Piper: What is she doing?
Prue: I don't know, but she's got a black aura around her.
Leo: The Source?
Prue: No. It can't be. The spell was to see the evil within. I think I could see his demonic form if it was him.
Piper: Yeah. Well, whatever it is, it's not good. Come on. (They go towards Phoebe as a small crowd gathers around the man.)
Woman: Jake! Jake! No.
Prue: Phoebe? Phoebe?
Phoebe: He's evil. He hits his son. I've seen it.
Woman: Oh God! Honey.
Prue: No. You're being seduced into doing this.
Woman: No! No Jake!
Piper: All right. You know what? Hi. (She pushes Phoebe's hand down.) Leo, take her. Go home. Go, go, go, go. (Leo orbs out with Phoebe. The man's pain lessens.)
Prue: Let's get out of here. (They walk away.)
Woman: Are you sure you'll all right? (Jake stands up.) Maybe you'd better lay back down.
Jake: I'm fine… Don't worry, let's go to a hospital. (He walks off with Carol.)
[Cut to Piper's jeep. Prue and Piper are in there and they then drive off. Cole/Source comes out of a building.]
Cole/Source: (He begins to walk away.) Oracle, find Phoebe… one last time. (He disappears in a burst of fire.)
[Scene: Manor. Prue and Piper come in. Prue takes off her coat.]
Piper: Leo, where's…(As they enter a hall, a knife is thrown, nearly missing Piper and Leo. Prue and Piper let out a small scream.)
Leo: I'm having a hard time convincing her that she is not evil!
Piper: I see that.
Phoebe waves her hand and a lamp is thrown telekinetically toward Piper and Prue, who duck after they scream. It smashes against the wall.)
Prue: That was Mom's crystal! (She flicks her fingers to make the carpet move telekinetically and Phoebe falls to the ground)
Piper: Okay. Relax. Relax. (Leo takes Piper's place in holding Phoebe down as Piper gets up.) All right. Now what?
Prue: We just better hope there's some Wiccan exorcism in the Book of Shadows, maybe.
Piper: Yeah. (She goes to the stairs, but stops when the lights flicker off and on. Cole/Source appears by the corner of the stairs.) Cole? (His eyes turn all black and he telekinetically throws Piper through the stairs banister.)
Leo: Piper!
Prue: Piper! (Cole/Source throws an energy ball at her, but she deflects it with a move of her hand. She waves her arm to Cole/Source but he deflects it, making her crash into the grandfather clock. Piper uses his power to blow him up. Phoebe stands up and Leo helps Piper up. Cole/Source reassembles. Prue grabs the glasses and puts them on. She sees the Source.) Piper, be careful.
Piper: I know.
Cole/Source: Your powers are strong, but will they be enough without the Power of Three.
Phoebe: Cole, what's going on?
Cole/Source: (In Cole's voice) It's okay. I'm here now.
Phoebe: Stay away from me.
Leo: She still has free will. You can't force her to choose.
Cole/Source: Oh, but she's already chosen, haven't you? Come with me. You'll be safe forever. I promise.
Piper: Don't listen to him. He's lying.
Cole/Source: They only want you for your power. You don't have to share it. It's yours. You've already seen what you can do with it. You do what nobody else can do. (He turns into Carol.) You nearly saved my son from his father. From all the pain and suffering he's put him through. (He turns into the little boy.) Please help me. Don't let him hurt me anymore. You're my only hope. (Phoebe takes his hand and starts to go with him.)
Prue: No! (The boy/Source races his hand, suspending Prue in mid-air and shocking her with electricity.) Help me!
(Phoebe pushes Boy/Source down and Prue falls down. Piper, Leo, and Phoebe go over to her to help her up. The clock chimes in the background.)
Piper: Prue? Okay. Come on. Come on. (The boy disappears and the Source reposes Shane, who stands up.)
Prue: I guess blood's a little thicker than evil. (The Source/Cole looks at the clock and goes out of Cole, who falls to the ground, to reveal his true self. Phoebe throws up the venom, that disappears in a black smoke.)
Source: I've broken the Charmed circle before. I'll do it again. Besides, it wasn't a complete loss.
Cortez: Oh my God. (The Source, Leo, and the sisters turn to see Cortez standing near the front door with a video camera. He's amazed at what he sees.)
Prue: Inspector, would you get out of here?! (As Cortez reaches for his gun, the Source fires an energy ball at him, knocking him on the coat rack. He screams. He's knocked on a hanger. Piper gasps. Cortez falls down, revealing blood on the hanger. The Source disappears in a blast of fire. The others race to Cortez. Leo kneels down beside him.)
Cortez: Looks like evil wins again, huh?
Leo: Not if I can help it. (He heals him. Cortez is shocked.)
Phoebe: We have to go heal Cole. (All, except Cortez and Prue leave to see Cole. He checks his used to be wound and the video camera.)
Prue: See? We're not the bad guys you thought. We help people. Just in a different way and, sometimes, unaccountable. But we will assume all the consequences you put above us.
[Scene: San Francisco PD Station. Cortez comes in with his video camera. Darryl, sitting at his desk, watches him. Cortez looks at him. He looks over to the Captain. Cortez goes over to Darryl and hesitates for a moment before giving him the tape, which he takes. Cortez leaves and Darryl sighs.]
[Scene: P3. Prue, Piper, Phoebe, Leo, and Cole are sitting there. A waitress, Megan, brings Cole and Leo their drinks.]
Cole: Oh good, thank you.
Leo: Thanks, too. (She leaves.) Feels good be here again.
Cole: Feels good to be anywhere again. (He chuckles.)
Phoebe: I will drink to that. (They clink their drinks.) Don't ever scare me like that again.
Cole: Promise. (Phoebe smiles as she takes a drink.)
Leo: You okay?
Prue: I'm not sure.
Piper: What is it?
Prue: I don't know. I feel just anxious about what happened in the last days. It has been so intense I fell on guard and worried.
Piper: I think we'll figure out how to improve and how to accomplish our destiny.
Phoebe: I'm still not sure about continuing on with this destiny thing after what I've been through recently. I need sometime to think about it. I hope you're okay with that.
Prue: Absolutely.
Phoebe: And I hope you're okay with it too.
Leo: They may not be, but I am.
Phoebe: Do you think I can talk to my sisters alone, guys?
Cole & Leo: Okay, so, uh, maybe Leo and I should go uh… pretend like we got something better to do.
Piper: Good idea.
Cole: Yeah. (He and Leo leave.)
Phoebe: I just wanted to, uh, thank you.

Phoebe: For what? You mean, beside from saving my life. (She chuckles.) I feel like I should bake you a cake or something.
Piper: You never cook.
Phoebe: Yeah, I know…
Prue: So how's Cole?
Phoebe: He's okay, I guess, he's just shocked The Source used him to reach me. I don't know if our relationship will be affected by this.
Prue: Oh, I'm sorry.
Phoebe: No. Can't say I blame him. You know? He doesn't remember exactly what happened to him, but he knows it's something bad.
Piper: Yeah, well, now you've dated a half-demon filled with another demon, I think you're the only one.
Prue: Can I ask you a question?
Phoebe: Hm-mmm.
Prue: Why didn't you tell us? You knew something was not good and you didn't tell us anything.
Phoebe: No. I never did. I don't want this to be taken the wrong way, but... After what I went through in the underworld, knowing about your loss, the lost of an innocent again… I felt you had a lot of things coming up. And that I was just being dramatic. (Piper and Prue look at each other.)
Piper: You should've told us.
Prue: But I don't blame you. Your situation was in the edge and I don't know how I would've reacted.
Phoebe: Thank you.
Prue: But we will make a promise. Just as we did a year ago. Not only we promise demons won't split us again. We will told each other things we're worried about. Specially things related to demons and the underworld.
Piper: Works for me. Phoebe?
Phoebe: Deal.
