"IT'S NOT OVER YET! GET READY FOR ME YOU PEICE OF SHIT!"
I couldn't help it. I froze on the spot, my arms, hands, knees-they were all shaking.
Yuriko.
Yuriko.
All Might-sensei had said it was over. Apparently Yuriko wasn't going to roll over. Todoroki-san was still in there. And Hagakure too. This was bad, bad, bad. No other choice but to stop her. No other choice. My heart hammered at the sheer thought of it, but I had too. I rushed in, Rina in tow, fast as I could. From the commotion on the upper floor, I assumed that's were she was. I turned to Rina as I ran.
"I need you to grab Hagakure, at any cost, got it!" I commanded her.
She nodded, her jaw tight. "She won't hurt anyone."
We burst in through the upper floor, guns practically blazing. Shoto was trying to freeze her in place, but she just kept breaking it. I leaped over Yuriko, spinning mid-air and landing steadily on my feet. In almost the same motion, I grabbed Todoroki's shirt, and leaped out the back window, activating Zero Gravity to make us float. I was relived to see that Rina had gotten Hagakure-san with no trouble. We landed on the roof.
"What is wrong with her? And what is her quirk." Todoroki demanded calmly, his one eye that I could see was hardened with fury.
"Her quirk is Invisible Block. She can form invisible blocks on walls, ceilings, and floors."I explained. "Each block can only get up to 8ft long, or tall."
He nodded. "And what is-"
He didn't have time to finish his question. The entire roof erupted beneath us, flinging us violently up into the air, I reactivated Uraraka's quirk, suspending us 20ft in the air. Yuriko's blocks couldn't reach us here.
"All Might-sensei!" I tapped the reviver in my ear. "What do we do?"
The piece buzzed in my ear. "Fear not, because I am on my way!" He boomed in my ear.
"AKIKUDA! GET DOWN HERE AND LET ME CRUSH YOU, YOU BITCH!" Yuriko screeched.
Her eyes were wild, burning with hatred and a hunger for spilt blood. She was practically foaming at the mouth, trying to reach me. In that moment, I felt true, blood chilling fear. She has never got this violent in front of a crowd before...she had something planned, but Todoroki-san's solo mission screwed it all up.
In that moment, All Might-sensei landed on the roof, standing in front of Yuriko.
"You need to end this unnecessary violence at once, or I will be forced to stop you." I couldn't see Yuriko's face now, but I could picture it based on her next words. I realized it one second too late.
"It's not over." She said simply.
And then the world went black.
I woke up to white, and the murmur of a voice beside me. My entire body ached, and I suddenly remembered why. But nothing concrete enough for me to grasp onto.
"Ahh, your awake!" A motherly voice said from the foot of my bed. I squinted my eyes and widened them again. Oh, it was Recovery Girl.
"What happened? I can't really remember..." I admitted.
She busily checked over my bandages, around my waist. I could feel a sharp, piercing pain in my side. Broken ribs, maybe? My arms felt a little sore to, and I felt queasy.
"You were standing next to the stair outlet on the roof. Ms. Tsumiyo was able to make a block out from there, and it nailed you in the ribs." She explained solemnly. She extended her lips out and gave me a kiss on my side, and the pain eased a little.
"There," she patted my hand, "they are only cracked now. You should take it easy for the rest of today, and then come visit me in the morning when you have your energy back." She handed me a few Pez and a hall pass. "can head back to class now. Izuku left just a few moments ago."
I left the nurses office with a thank you, and shut the door silently behind me. I creeped through the halls, dreading my re-appearance. Maybe I got lucky and Yuriko already left. I chewed my Pez as I continued to think. Maybe, if I was really lucky, they would expel her.
I stopped in front of the door to the class room, taking a deep breath before I pushed open the door. Most of the class was gone, with the exeption of Mina, Denki, Kirishima, and Todoroki.
"Aki-chan!" Ashido-san cried. She leaped forward and squeezed me in a huge hug. I gasped and clutched my side, trying my best to smile.
"Ouch...I'm glad your relived, but could you ease up a little bit?" I wheezed.
She panicked and let go, still smiling. "Sorry! I forgot you broke your ribs..."
I waved my hand at her as I carefully gathered my things. "It's fine, Ashido-san."
She frowned slightly, and then waved. "I've gotta get going! See you tomorrow, m'kay!"
I smiled at her. "Yeah!"
She left the room with Kirishima and Denki, who had told me to get better soon, and they'd better see me tomorrow. I folded my uniform over my arm and stood up, wincing more. I glanced over at Todoroki-san, who was almost out the door.
"Hey! Todoroki-san! Wait up!" I said loud enough he could hear me. He paused, holding the door open for me.
"Do you need something?" he asked monotonously, his gaze fixed in front of him.
I looked side ways at him. "No, not really. I just wanted to say sorry...I mean, because of Yuriko." I looked down at my feet as we walked through the front gate and turned down the street. "I knew she would get angry at me...but not like that. You could have gotten seriously hurt."
I was taken aback when he nonchalantly shrugged. "You don't need to apologize for something you didn't do."
I sighed. Maybe he was right. I always apologized, even if it wasn't my fault. "That's just who I am."
I stopped at the crosswalk, facing him. "I can tell your not here to make friends or whatever, I can see it on your face." I placed my hand on my chest, basically pointing at myself. "But If you change your mind, I would be glad to call you my friend."
And I left him with that, turning my back and walking away.
