Arendelle, Castle Courtyard
7 PM
A man strode alone along the paraphet of the courtyard wall of the castle below. He had witnessed the events of the day and found himself briefly at a loss, his nemesis, Mark Wolfe, and the Queen of Arendelle, Elsa, had married. And what a wedding it was! The reception was to begin prompty at seven thirty in the courtyard of the castle, the castle gates hung wide open.
Taekito was not exactly in the best of moods either. His metal arm was swathed in bandages. Enough so to be seen as if he had simply been injured. The metal went up his arm under his knee length white coat. Even though the Southern Isles werent welcome in Arendelle, nobody knew or questioned where the white coated man was from
His silver eyes gazed down towards the preparations below him in the courtyard. He he hadnt spotted Mark, but he did spot someone else, two young women, he snarled at sight of Sapphire, and the woman with her in an identicalk stlyed outfit. Their colors denoting who they were. He loathed having to see the healers after Mark beat him down.
Taekito smirked however at sight of the two women, So, he managed to make them into the Wolfe Clan colors ? He truly is insane to think the family can regrow. Just one root left to dig out. Taekito thought. He had built up the Sword Corps himself, Mark had put him in charge before he disappeared for a summer.
But now there was a problem, Sapphire Wolfe was once again guarding Elsa when Mark was not present. and the woman with her was not an Arendelle native, and yet she wore the same style dress as Sapphire, same colors too, and her hair was different, instead of a tight ponytail, it was instead loose and wild. This mission, a month was all he needed. And he had prepared everything, meticulously for the last thirty days.
He was ready to put his plan into motion.
The real question was, was Arendelle ?
At that same moment
Throneroom
Two men stood in the throneroom. They were alone, the wedding was over. It was a strange yet wonderus event. Everyone had taken a moment or longer to express gratitude, well wishes, and otherwise before going to the courtyard, which would take around twenty minutes to an hour to prepare for the reception.
But that still left just two men, one of them older, experienced beyond his years, coming off an energy rush unlike anything he had experienced. But the other man was younger, long black hair with a gray streak or two with some l;ight brown patches around his feathered ears framed a gentle face, also experienced and skill was hidden in his soft features. Auji's bright brown eyes showed the strength of youth. Whereas Marks brown eyes, edged in silver, showed something else entirely.
Mark's eyes flashed back to Sacremento. The fight he had at Diamond's Tomb. Using furniture and other objects of the room as weapons, teleporting around, finding out that his Gravity Manipulation didn't work on whoever he was fighting. His pupils flexed as his eyes adjusted to the shimmering light coming through the windows and he blinked.
"I remember fighting someone of similar build to you for that very sword." he mused. Mark wasn't about to repeat that fight, it was all together too destructive and tiring. Mark was older now, his body wasn't fueled by self-destructive rage over Arko. Mark was a married man now, and Kalda was very much fully awake, his memories mixing with Mark's, creating a haze for a moment during the kiss, before Mark once more emerged as the dominant being in control over the body as that wave of energy washed over the kingdom.
"Any chance you're the same guy who tried to headbutt me mid-fight?"
"That is what it was supposed to be, yes" Came the calm, yet gentle voice of the young man, his face had a impish grin that reminded Mark of himself, and yet also had an impish grin of somebody else. "Sure didnt feel like it" He raised a hand and rubbed his forehead, Auji of course remembered the fight. So much destruction.
He tried to keep from demolishing things, and yet his dear old dad just went all out, everything and anything was a weapon. How Mark fought so good with a stepladder Auji didnt want to know. "What kind of Armor was that ?" Auji then asked, Mark had used his armor during their fight. but he said nothing of the teleporting.
An amused grunt, and a few paces off towards the thrones that now belonged to him and Elsa together. Or, Xeir? Things got confusing. Turning to face his son at the question of the armor, Mark's eyes flashed bronze, and he summoned the armor back to his body. Starting with the Wolfe Family Gauntlet digitising into view, the rest of the armor spread out from the shoulder, and covered Mark's body once again. He took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, before opening them.
"Hand-Forged Duradaeden armor. The Gauntlet is a Family Heirloom. The armor itself adds further protection to whoever is worthy of the mantle of Wolfe Clan Master. I managed to find a similar-enough enchantment, and applied it." Mark explained. "It's sometimes called Dragon-Steel - the weapons of mortals can't even scratch it." Mark folded his arms over his chest, and returned to his spot across from Auji, eyes looking to that sword hilt again.
"It's the same metal your sword... well, Kalda's Sword, is made out of."
Auji raised a hand as Marks armor formed on his body, the bronze movement and light from the armor forming, was made brighter thanks to whatever happened with that wash of energy. "Can you tone it down a bit ? Its a bit bright" There was a hint of humor however in Aujis voice and he wasnt aiming to make a secene.
So when Mark brought up the sword a second time, Auji jerked a thumb at the hilt., "What this ? It was a birthday gift from my Grandma, though it was also a prize of a hell of a scavenger hunt too" he said, it was mostly the truth partly a lie, but it was so well said it made sense and did the job perfectly for what was needed at the time.
He drew the blade in a swift motion. the slender beautiful weapon was perfectly balanced, and it was a dead exact match to Kaldas missing sword. and the way Auji handled it meant he had a lot of time to practise with it. "Grandma said it was also something of a wedding gift too" Now that was unexpected. however what was more unexpected was what came next as Auji sheathed the weapon and held out a hand.
"The Name's Auji, but my wife and sometimes my mom call me Ulnaus" He said to Mark.
"He handles it well. And you don't necessarily need another sword." Kalda's voice echoed in Marks' ear, and his eyes looked to the side as if considering the Dragon's words. At the name drop, however, Mark's eyes moved back to the man in front of him.
"Ulnaus? Who would name you after my oaf of a bird?" Mark asked. As if on cue, the massive, Military Humvee sized bird squawked outside one of the windows, preening his feathers. "Not a lot of people know his name... anyone who does would have to have known me beyond my titles." he went on, bringing a hand up to cup his chin in thought. The armor flashed once, then vanished from his body.
"Who was your mother?"
Auji smirked, he'd met that massive bird a few times in Sacremento, but he was never that big. He flicked his wrist slightly to the right, a rune formed briefly on the handles of the door, unlocking the throneroom door as he smiled then in full. "My mother named me." He said simply.
After Mark explained however he laughed, and that laughter sounded hauntlingly familar. After the mirth lasted a moment Auji got hold of himself and said "Grandma did mention you might forget her. Mom said to knock some sense into you if I was able to. I was kinda hoping I wouldnt have to." Auji said, briefly thinking stalling for time was a good idea.
It wasnt. He sighed. "My mother is Princess Yei Jiajia, you know her as Georgina... Dad" Auji said, that last word however was unexpected, and yet incredibly welcomed all at once.
The silence in the room was almost as deafening as one of Ulnaus' screeches from close range. Almost. "Georgina is your mother? I'm your..." the hand on his chin moved up to run through his hair as he raised his eyebrows and sighed, staring down at the floor for a second. "Huh. From the looks of you... I'd say she raised you in the Mythic Realm? After all you were made only... a couple years ago."
Finally, Mark reached out, and placed a hand on his son's shoulder, giving it a small squeeze. "Looks like we have a lot of catching up to do, Son." Light that felt weird to say... but refreshing. He wouldn't have all the typical father-son moments he missed out on since Georgina had raised him on her own, but they could still bond, he reasoned.
"Huh. He's got a son." Came a unseen voice in Marks head. Clearly Arabic and well learned in sound
"He ain't special. I got like twenty." replied a clearly Mongolian voice with a strong burst of laughter.
"You had a harem, you don't count." Kalda rolled his eyes at the owner of the Mongolian voice.
"HEY! I said I got twenty sons, Of course I can count, ya overgrown lizard!" Came the grumpy reply of a Mongolian who actually missed all his wives
Mark sighed at the bickering in his head and then cleared his throat. "Have you seen the manor yet?"
Auji smiled and when Mark gripped his shoulder, he brought up a hand, gripping his fathers hand which held his shoulder. "We do indeed, Dad, and yes, Shortly after what Mom calls a eventful evening, she went into the care of a lady who wore wihte and crtsyals in her hair like a crown. I never did get her name, but she left me call her Aunty" Auji explained, Turned out he meant Kanwar herself
Only Kanwar could wear crystals in the shape of a crown in her hair and make it look good. Auji then blushed a bit. "We were in the Mythic Realm, Mother and I, for, thirty three years, but when we got back here, you were gone somewhere and I... well we met actually in that tomb." He said meaning the Tomb of Saint Diamond.
But then Auji also mentioned he had a wife ? Well he did mention he was thirty three at that point. That was when his eyes lit up. "Oh that's right, you still gotta meet my wife! Oh she'll love this for sure!" At that exact moment there was a ear peircing shriek from Ulnaus outside that caugh their attention, followed by a very Draconic growl that was not from Kalda from the window
Auji smirked, "Though it seems that Ulnaus just met her already..."
"STUPID BIRD!" Came the shriek in English, apparently Ulnaus had nailed Xeibo in the face with bird poop dead on the nose. he still hadnt answered the Manor question yet, and wasnt sure if he sould
"Sounds like Mother... Eh, Kanwar." Kalda mentioned.
Releasing his Son's shoulder, Mark turned towards Ulnaus and snapped his fingers, sending the bird flying off to patrol the kingdom for whatever it was he ate nowadays. Hopefully whatever he did to Xeibo wasn't too bad. Or at least, easily reversable?
"Sounds like Ulnaus just met her." Mark chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest again as he turned towards the door, waiting for her to enter so he could meet her properly. "Let's see if my son chose well. Was she one of the few you had with you in Sacremento?" he asked idly, looking back to his son, but keeping his chest towards the door.
Auji tried briefly to make a halo appear over his head as Mark mentioined him choosing well, then gave up entirely when he mentioned Sacremento. "Uh yeah actually. You might want to duck first the first chance you get though" Auji said, less then a second later a towel sailed over Marks head and was fieled skillfully by Auji. "Nice shot, two points dear"
Xeibo stepped into the throneroom. her hair was clean of bird shit at that moment and so was her dress, a gorgeous white with silver almost scalelike pattern along the hemline about her neck. Her bright eyes scanned the room. Spotting Auji she headed for him, but came a fast halt before she spotted the guy she was about to run down.
"Dear" She said poking her gaze around Mark to look at her husband "Is this the guy who made that bird fly off ?" Xeibo asked, she was oddly calm, but Auji could tell clearly, as could Mark {or was it that Mongolian voice ?} that Xeibo was clearly pissed off.
"Ah yeah, about that, Xeibo, honey, meet my dad, Dad, this is my wife, Xeibo." Auji said, doing the introductions between them.
But rather then shake Marks hand, Xeibo instead nearly suffocated the guy in a very tight hug. "Glad to meet you! Now let me strangle my husband before I forget my manners and try to strangle you on accident... Dad" Before nearly pitching him into the nearby council bench and diving for her husbands arms.
As he wrapped his arms around Xeibo, Auji spoke up "Though to answer your question, Dad, about the Manor... what manor ?" Truth was, Auji hadnt been in that district yet, mostly staying the Pond District, because Xeibo liked the hot springs there.
The wheeze that came out of Mark as he was hugged so tightly was unholy, but he managed to hug his daughter-in-law back before being nearly tossed into a council bench. Catching his footing and coughing to clear his throat, Mark sighed and straightened out his clothes. That was something he'd have to get used to. He could see his Son had a fine wife, though. More than strong enough to take care of herself as well as him, and any kids they may have in the future.
Mark smiled softly, but then that smile vanished when Auji questioned the existence of the Wolfe Manor. "Never been, huh?" He mused. "Very well, I'll take you, sooner or later. Or you can explore on your own - The Wolfe Manor is our ancestral home, the heart of the Wolfe Distrcit here in Arendelle. It was burned down during the Templar Takeover of the kingdom, and they massacred the family. As far as I know, only myself and a few others managed to escape. I've since refurbished the building to its original glory as best I could. I'd like for you to see it."
Mark walked back to his spot near his son and smiled again. He could see that Xeibo made Auji happy, and that was good. Any child of his deserved nothing less than the best.
At the mention of never been, Auji and Xeibo nodded. So after Mark explained it, Xeibo lightly punched her husband on the arm, "See, I told ya we should checked in there!" She said in Draconic
"It is a house not a hotel" Auji replied in the same language in a comical effort to placate his wife. "Besides, Pond District has the hot springs you like remember ?"
"So ?" Xeibo smirked, but the two then traded just barely seeable glances at the mention of the destruction and the Templar attack. Xeibo knew of a few Wolfes wandering the Mythic Realm, two of which were a reunited mother and daughter alone that Mark had met.
However Mark also mentioned they could explore the Mansion on their own ? Wonderful! Perfect! "Can we take a rain check on the tour and do a personal exploration after the reception ?" Auji asked simply, Mostly because he just remembered something his mom asked him to do for her. and also for Grandma. And most importantly, Mark couldnt be there for that!
"The Manor belongs to the family, and you are my son. You can explore whenever you like." Mark said with a smile and a small gesture. "Had you known about the manor you could have easily picked a room to move into - there are charms and wards in place to let Wolfe blood enter and exit freely. It extends to marriages, adoptions, and honoroary titles as well of course." he shrugged. So that explained why the grounds never got intruded on by normal people of the Kingdom, minus Old Man Joe. That man went wherever he pleased, nothing seemed to stop him.
Sighing, Mark turned to look at the clock. The Reception would be starting soon, wouldn't it?
Xeibo spotted her father-in-law checking the clock nearby and smiled. "Oh I remember now why I cam in here other then to meet you, Dear, Dad, Mom said to come and get you before Elsa freezes the place out of boredom while waiting for you guys." With that she all but dragged Auji by the shoulder towards the door.
"Why cant we just fly out the window dear ?" Auji asked
"Because I am too heavy... wait that could work, but I havent flown here before yet ?" Xeibo replied
"No time like the present" Auji replied Of course through this conversation Mark had his mouth hanging open, Fly out a window ? As he spoke however, Mark had top simply blink in awe at the majestic black and blue feathered wings that seemed to just appear majestically from his sons shoulderblades. Healthy and strong, similar to a woman in Sacremento he remembered beheading ?
The reception started at seven thirty, and it was nearly time, it was only seven twenty two. Xeibo looked thoughtful. She shook her head. but before she could speak, Mark beat her to it. Her flying out of there wouldnt be a good idea. Mostly bvecause when Xeibo summoned her wings... she kinda also summoned her full Draconic self.
"I think it's best we use the door." Mark spoke, opening the throne room doors for the pair and holding it open for them with his boot, shaking his head at their shenanigans. He wasn't much older than his own Son at this point since he'd grown up in the Mythic Realm, but considering how much Mark had been through, the maturity levels were still completely and vastly different.
"Besides, plenty of time to walk from here to the courtyard - it's a straight line, after all." Mark had a smirk on his face as he spoke.
Xeibo pointed at Mark while nodding, "What he said, much smarter idea!" Last thing she wanted was to ruin her father in laws perfect day! Auji sighed and rolled his eyes as his made his wings fade into blueblack smoke and disappear as Xeibo dragged him out. The look he gave his father was one of him mostly faking it asking for help.
The three headed from the throneroom towards the courtyard, a left turn and a right turn and they were there, the tables were set up across the courtyard, Elsa was nowhere to be seen just yet. but many guests were present and some fo them spotted Mark and cheered at the sight of him.
But nobody saw the lone person on the paraphet disappearing into a castle tower to speak to someone else.
However there was a beautiful young lady seated at a table, watching as Mark, Auji and Xeibo stepped into the courtyard. The long red gown Georgina wore was something similar to what she last wore in Arendelle, when she had been so sure that she and Mark had produced Auji.
There was a young woman dressed in a smokey black and gray dress, her long white hair pulled into a few braids. Both women were watching Auji and Xeibo, but then one of the two women were focused on Mark, a dreamy look was in Georginas eyes.
The white haired woman with her however was confused. "I could have sworn I felt something like that wave similar to when my dad practses healing magic" the Silver Eagle Princess mumbled.
"Oh stuff it, My sons' here and and my husband's here too, drink your martini, Fang" Georgina grumbled as she stood from the table as Mark neared.
Mark waved to the cheering crowd, a smile on his face. Scanning the crowd, he couldn't find his newly wedded wife, Elsa. But he could very easily find the red gown of his... well his unofficial Wife, he'd suppose, Georgina. Smiling at her, he shot her a wink, before beginning to make his way through the crowd towards her, since her table was near his own where he'd end up sitting with Elsa to begin the Reception proper.
"You didn't tell me we had a rather handsome son, dear." he said, giving her a small bow - she was still a princess, after all. He looked at her with his usual sly grin and moved around the table to properly embrace her in a hug, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Liking the gown, by the way." He stated as they broke the hug.
"Fang. Good to see you again. I haven't had to use what you taught me too much, thankfully." he moved to shake her hand.
Georgina embraced Mark as he hugged her. She smiled and carefully gave him a once over. "I see Auji was kind to you too" She said in reply. She sighed. "You never gave me the chance to tell you. I had left as you recall" She said, then she went slightly upset, she had seen the destruction of Arko, but then she brightened. "When we returned here, Auji made himself to home, he and Xeibo both. By then, you were gone" She said, normally she resided in the Roughwater District, but that was before she then moved in with Nathan now lived with his family in the Greensky District Den. Mostly because it was closer to the Pond District.
Fang smirked at sight of Mark, he looked pretty good. "That is good" She said, she knew he had some semblence of memory however, he did keep what she had taught him, if she taught him anything that stuck at least would be a miracle in and of itself alone. "Congratulations by the way, Master Wolfe, marrying into a royal family. Its not something I thought possible, the Raven sends her regards. she would be here personally... However... things came up." She did not go into detail of what exactly had called Sazhori home.
Xeibo and Auji were nearby at the food table, the wedding cake was huge. but not too intimidating like on some TV shows and holoshows. Most of those shows Mark felt sick when watching while growing up. Getting two glasses of wine, Auji and Xeibo headed for the table closest to where Mark, Elsa, the Best Man, the Groomsmen, and the Brides Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids were to sit.
Of course Mark had requested his uncle Nathan to be the Best Man, he was after all, Mark figured, the oldest still in the Wolfe Family, he couldnt see his father anywhere. though he knew his dad was somewhere. The other Groomsmen were picked carefully from either the Brotherhood, namely his cousins Kaezin and Lazul for two of the groomsmen. And also Asami and Sapphire as two of the bridesmaids.
Miao was adorable as the flowergirl. Hey a six year old in a thirty two year olds body was perfect dont get Mark wrong. Blackmanes magic worked only so far and couldnt really deage his cousins body. Someone much stronger than his aunt was going to have to help his cousin.
Mark listened and nodded along, eyes drifting over the party, and of course everyone important. His smile never faded. He could sense Elsa nearby. "Well, when you consider the thought, The Wolfe Family has married into the Royal Family multiple times throughout Arendelle's history - we were always Nobles." Mark answered Fang's congratulations to him. "Wonderous things when a Family is assigned to guard another for generations, after all. Forbidden romances, hidden relationships... Official marriages, and so on." Mark shrugged. He knew the family names were closely tied to the point of marriage in some points, but exactly how much was a bit of a mystery.
"But, I'm not here to delve into family history. This is a new chapter. A new family, a new Arendelle." He turned his eyes back to Fang, and then gave both women a small bow. "Elsa should be showing up any moment, I should be at our table to greet her." he said, dismissing himself and heading over to his table, patting each of his groomsen and bestman on the shoulders affectionately.
"Y'know, uncle. The Best Man is usually a great fighter, in case someone disapproves of the marriage. Hope you're up to that challenge." Mark teased Nathan.
Fang said nothing as Mark left, she knew her history, she was just suprised it happened. She never expected to witness it in front of her truth be told. But the Eagle Princess merely waved him goodbye as Georgina went to retrive another glass of wine.
Nathan snickered from where he sat at the long table. His nepherw was right for the most part. "Relax, Nephew" He said, he had a broad smile on his face, his daughter, Sapphire was one fo the Bridesmaids. "This is a happy day, nothing to concern about!" Nathan then pointed upwards. "Besides, with that bird of yours flying overwatch, I doubt anyone would want to drop in" The truth was, Nathan missed his brother Marcus, and had managed to grill Mark enough to learn that Marcus was indeed alive, somewhere, and overseeing a flying aircraft carrier somewhere in the Equator City.
Sapphire for her part looked upset, the dress she had just barely fit. like it was a size too small around her chest alone. But even then she still looked beautiful, Kiyomori had tried to adjust it, to the point of modeling the outfit for her sister and then meshing the outfit onto her sisiters body, but even that didnt work. Finally Asami had the smart idea to loosen the corset a wee bit so Sapphire could breathe.
Now Sapphire was half awake, all but drooling with her head on the table. "Dad, can I go back to bed yet ?" She mumbled
Nathan was about to reply when the butler, Kai stepped into view. "Sirs, Madam, the Master of Ceremonies would like to give you instructures pertaining to arrival to the reception" It was a wedding tradition that the wedding party arrived after everyone else had been seated. Starting of course with the best man and maid of honor. in this case Nathan and his wife. followed by the kids, finally Elsa and Mark.
But where was Elsa ? That had Marks attention.
"Just givin' you a hard time, Uncle. The only people who would try anything are far away from here." he sighed, moving to his seat and leaning back in his chair, taking a drink of wine before setting the glass down. He looked at his watch. Almost seven-thirty. Where was his wife? He looked to her chair, then to Kai as the old man began to speak.
Curious.
At that Same Moment
Brides Chambers
"A wonderful event" Came the even tone of Taekito as Elsa was getting a little help from Aretha for her wedding viel. "Quite intruging as well that sense of renewed vigur" He said concerning the strange golden wave of energy that exploded from the cathederal when Mark and Elsa shared their first offical kiss as Man and Wife.
Elsa turned at his voice from where she was seated, the white wedding gown she wore so expertly designed from Arendelles best dress maker. "Do I know you ?" She asked the bandaged armed man. the man in the military coat of white and blue, looked almost like a Southern Isles jacket and colors. "Who are you ?"
"Just an old friend your highness, I must congraturlate you, and if I may be permitted to do so, offer you some words of thought ?" Taekito said to her. beginning to activate and use his Convince. a sort of magic given to him by Hans, and a few others. things had to go in a certain way.
A moment passed, Elsa glanced at the clock, it was Seven twenty-seven. She sighed, "Very well, what, pray tell, do you have for me to think upon ?" She asked him, "but please, make it quick, the reception starts soon."
"Every bride and husband go on what is called a honeymoon, a vacation for several days to a week or so away from all their worries and family cares. Basically after tonights festivities, simply pack up and take a few weeks or a month or so off, dont worry of the kingdom or your duties as qwueen, just, relax and travel." Taekito half wanted to slit his own throat for such a suggestion, but it was part of his plan. He needed to convince Elsa a sabatical for a time was in her best interests.
"What about the kingdom ? who would I leave in charge ? My sister ?" Elsa asked him. He shook his head, leaving Anna in charge he felt could be a disaster. No, he felt it better if Anna went with Elsa.
"Your sister would go with you, pick a bodyguard for her, the Kingdom knows your husband already is your guard and protector. But, let your sister pick her own guard. After that, set up a council to rule in your stead, and then go on your honeymoon, couldnt be simplier" Taekito said to her.
Elsa thought a moment, finally she nodded. "Alright, I will think about what you have suggested. you have my thanks." Taekito smiled, his job was done. He had other matters to attend to. He bowed and took his leave.
As he bowed however. "I apologise for the intrusion" he said simply
"Think nothing of it." Elsa replied, she glanced at the clock, Gerda came knocking as Taekito stepped around her and soon quickly left the castle. He had further plans he needed to rpepare for. It was time for the reception to begin.
A minute later and it was nearly time.
Elsa met up with Mark in the front hall, at that moment it was just him and Nathan, so when Elsa and Aretha appeared, both mens faces lit up like christmas trees with sheer joy at the best women in their lives.
Hearing the door open, Mark turned to face his bride and smiled wide. "Ah, there she is." he chimed, opening his arms and walking towards Elsa. Nathan mirrored his nephew's movements and moved towards Aretha. "I was almost worried you'd run out on me." he had smirked, giving Elsa a proper kiss while holding her in his embrace.
"You look amazing." he added, looking her up and down.
"I never had the thought of such a thing" Elsa said before Marks lips met her own. A good minute passed before even Aretha had to come up for air as Nathan mirrored his nephew every step of the way.
Kai spoke up anew, "Madam, Lady Aertha, Sir Nathan, Master Wolfe, it is time for the reception to begin." Kai clapped his hands as the MC stepped into view, behind her was the wedding party, it consisted of four lovely women as the bridesmaids with Aretha, Marks aunt by blood as the Maid of Honor, then four handsome young men as the groomsmen, which had Marks uncle, Nathan as Best Man.
One of the Bridesmaids, and Groomsmen, where aslso one of Marks many aunts, and his Aunt Blackmanes husband Martin. Why Blackmane herself was not part of the wedding party was confusing, but she insisted that Martin was a good Groomsman.
That and Silvermane, the silver and green eyed bridesmaid who all but screamed "I am not human" even in that bridesmaid gown, made it hard for even Mark to recognise her in that getup. Even though he only met her once.
Everyone cheered as the wedding party entered the courtyard and made their way to the main table to sit down. At a corner of the courtyard, a lone figure in a simple Assassin robe, his hood drawn over his face, watched as Mark and Elsa entered. Behind his mask, Marcus smiled, he was not in time to see his son walk down the asile with Elsa, but he was in time to see his reception.
Cutting through the fog of cheers and applause, Mark's eyes found the hooded figure of his father. His eyes lit up with emotion, and he flashed his father a grin and a wink. They'd end up meeting after the reception, catching up and enjoying a heartfelt reuinion. Mark was also able to introduce Marcus to his grandson, Auji, the meeting bringing a few tears to the older man's eyes.
Not one to leave his beloved alone for too long, Mark made his way back to Elsa's side, and carried on with the evening.
The evening passed in a blur, music, dancing, celebration. Happiness for everyone involved. Mark even Danced with not just his wife Elsa, but he also danced with Georgina, Fang, his Aunt Aretha, and a few other ladies before ending up with Elsa again on the dance floor.
Before long however, it was dark, the reception had slowly ended, and everyone began to return to their homes for the night. Auji and Xeibo by mid way of the reception had snuck out for the Wolfe Manor, they had some snooping to do for Aujis mother, and also for a certain Light Dragon.
As evening turned into night, and then into morning, Arendelle slowly went to sleep, and then woke up. As the sun rose the next morning, the buzz in the kingdom was simple, Elsa was married, Arendelle had a King again, and something was strange. Something interesting was berwing in the Palace.
And it found Auji, his wife Xeibo, an unknown woman with silver and black braided hair {who was Marks Aunt, Silvermane}, Marks aunt Blackmane, Mark, Anna, and finally Marks wife Elsa and a woman with bright blonde hair whom Mark really couldnt make the features of due to her being a plume of beautiful white light. Which could only be the Assassin, Diana. Along with both of Marks sisters, Serena, and her twin sister Serenity, who were guarding the door to the chamber
The Next Morning
Arendelle Castle
Council Chamber
"You're serious ?" Auji asked, appointing a council was a good idea, but to do it so soon after a wedding, especially a wedding so important as Elsa and Marks own. the group were sdeated at the normal council table, the large U shaped structure allowed for the best all around means to get things done.
"I am" Elsa said, "I thought about it long and hard last night, and even slept on it" Which earned a snicker from Mark, she mostly slept on him "I will appoint a council to run the kingdom in my stead, so Anna and I, and Mark, and a bodyguard of Annas choosing, can see the world, and maybe find kristoff while we're at it."
It seemed worth it, Apparently the suggestive magic did its job. Taekitos advice of taking time off and appointing a council was seemingly the perfect idea. "Dad, what do you think ?" Auji then asked, man, this was weird, Elsa was now his mother!
Mark considered the idea. See the world? He'd already seen a good deal of it. "Not a bad idea - most Married Couples take Honeymoons. But... the world? That'd take a while, dear. The Kingdom will likely change before we return if we're gone for too long." he said thoughtfully.
"Regardless of that, though, be sure to pick councilors you can trust with your life if I'm not present." Mark added. ultimately the decision was still Elsa's. The Queen has most of the power in Arendelle, the King being mostly a figure-head, though no less adored by the people. "Besides, I have to get fitted for a crown I'm told. Though I'm not sure I really need one."
"Alright, a sabatical then, one year from the kingdom, we see as much of the world as we can before coming back here before the year is over" Elsa said, by christmas the following year they'd be back
That was the plan, and it was a good plan, however the plan was not going to go to plan A, however Plan B was still onthe table as Elsa continued. "Anna, pick a bodyguard to come with us to guard you, I got Mark, but you'll need someone, at least until we find Kristoff. I expected him at the wedding, but I couldnt find him" Elsa said
Anna smiled and looked towards Diana, "Oh I think I have someone in mind." She said and Mark followed her gaze and had to blink, why was there a plume of light in the room again ? Who was Anna looking at ? "If Kristoff is anywhere, he's with the Trolls, or they sent him somewhere on a gathering job or something. We'll find him!" Anna said, her tone made sense, and also had a happy ring to it.
It was mostly settled. "Dont worry dear" Elsa said to Mark, "I already have the Councilor to lead in our stead in mind. I think youi've met him before, Xercine I believe his name is" Xercine was a soft spoken yet stern fellow, who somehow to Mark felt oddly, hauntingly familar. Like he had seen him before
"Picking council members, how many in total to aim for ?" The question was posed by the unknown silver and black haired woman, Elsa hadnt met her before, but Mark barely remembered his aunt Silvermane. that was a very good questuion, but Elsa had no idea who Silvermane was... at least until Mark made the introductions
"A year is... a long time..." Mark rubbed at his chin in thought again. He considered the time. How much things can change in a year, let alone just in a week if he was being perfectly honest. As his mind was going a mile a minute, the question of how many councilors came up, and he leaned back.
"Well, knowing how other governments work around the world, if you want the least amount of change to occur in our absence you should pick a councilor from each district. One representative from each part of the Kingdom in order to provide as many different ideas as possible. Gridlock is bound to occur, and from that, we can expect very little in the way of major changes." Mark offered
"Dear nephew, this room is not large enough to fit 71 people" Blackmane said with a smirk. Silvermane snickered in agreement. "Perhaps a compremise, twenty core Councilors, and the rest from an assortment of the districts ?"
Elsa liked that idea the most. "Alright, Twenty Core councilors to sit at this table, the rest sit around it in the various benches here." She said, it worked, with Xercine leading the council they could get what they wanted done, but they could also change very little if anything.
About ten minutes later and Kai brought in the afrementioned Xercine, the man stood tall, dressed in a black coat, with a pair of black long arm gloves that covered his hands that Mark could have sworn looked familar, Xerciene was a tall slender gentleman with long spikey brown hair, and a cordial one at that. Shortly afterwards two more men arrived, Bishop Kiyori, and his right hand man, Deacon Dice. Once the three men were carefully imparted their new duties. Anna chose Diana to be her bodyguard, and also in a way, her dance instructor, swimming teacher, alligator wrestler and national spelling be champion, whom Mark still couldnt fully make out when he looked at her with his Eagle Vision.
An hour later and the group split up, Silvermane, Blackmane, Auji and Xeibo went to find more councilmen to help Xerciene run things, While Elsa, Mark, Anna and Diana went to pack for their trip.
Two hours later and they were boarding the hoverbus to take them to Oslo to begin their yearlong sabatical.
They never left Arendelles kingdom outskirts...
Moments Later
Location Unknown
Time Unknown
The room was plain white, nary the sound of anything was within the room, all was silent save for the very faint sound of someone breathing. While unmoving, a single woman laid upon a bed made seemingly of waterlike silk.
The bed was the only furniture in the room. The woman was young, around thirty by human standards. And wore only a silverwhite slip dress of a sort made of silk or satin as she slept soundly upon the bed. There was no blanket. Were it not for the subtle rise and fall of her breast as she slept, the woman upon the strange bed would have simply appeared to be dead.
A woman in a dark red and black dress with long sleeves, her face covered in strange bandages save for her mouth, nose and left eye observed the woman asleep on the bed.
A portal formed behind the cloaked being. "They have begun their trip" Said a deep male voice. "they will not get far"
"And the portal ?" The cloaked woman asked without turning around.
"It activated as planned, just as they neared the outskirts of the kingdom. The hoverbus they used disappeared into it just as exactly planned." Came the reply behind the mask the woman wore she smiled. This was going to be better than she had thought.
A long moment of quiet was held in the room. Finally the cloaked woman smiled.
A gloved hand reached down to the woman asleep on the waterlike silken bed. "Don't sleep too long" She said as the hand gently brushed a strand or two of silverwhite hair from the soft face. The hooded man that appeared from the portal could just barely see the rise and fall of the womans sleeping form.
The sleeping woman was alive, but unable to wake up.
Turning from the bed, the cloaked woman and the hooded man who arrived disappeared into portals.

Arendelle outskirts
Mark stepped to the door as it closed to make sure it was sealed, it was just him, his new wife Elsa, her sister Anna, and Annas chosen bodyguard, the Assassin Diana. Even with Diana present Mark fgelt a strange sense of energy from all around them as the hoverbus got into gear. But there was something else that put him off. The drivers section was apparently entirely automated at that time now. Which meant something big was going down. Hoverbuses in Crescent City had drivers still.
By the time the hoverbus reached the outskirts proper to hit the open road for Oslo, Anna had fallen asleep, with her was Diana, who, try as she might, was unable to remain awake.
Mark gave it no further heed and returned to the sitting area. He found Anna and Diana sleeping in a pile near the door. He sat next to Elsa, and she leaned on him, Soon, Mark felt drowsy and just like Elsa who was asleep on his arm, he too fell fast asleep as the hoverbus followed a predetermined route and disappeared from Arendelle into a portal going somewhere else.
In an island city enshrouded by a sunrise glow upon white stone and surrounded by similar islands, in the room of a large yet modest house. A girl woke up.
"What a dream" The girl thought. She'd been having the dreams a lot, and not just herself. Her brother, and both of her sisters, kept having them recently too. She went to the window and pushed it open, watching the cable cars that connected the island city with the others within her line of sight. She watched it absently for a while. She felt so strange today.
Was it because summer vacation was ending next week ?
As she thought of how she'd spend her last few days of summer, her excitement grew. She and her siblings had been saving their credits. She smiled, and jumped out of bed. Quickly getting dressed. She then darted outside after a quick hello to her mother. The girls mind wandered as she darted up several sets of low stairs. Dancing around random people.
Her name was Elsa, and this was Scala ad Caelum; and she was going to meet up with her sisters and brother.
Come to think of it...
"Oh that's right, we have a free day today, no session!" She said to herself as she darted up an ally. That's right, they had a session the next eight days. Today was their last off day of the wonderful weekend!

Just eight more days to go, and then my summer vacation is over...
