6 Years Later...

Dumbledore and his order have been searching for Rose Potter for the past 6 years with no success

Now that voldemort managed to get a new body he has given up on searching and decided to finally use her magic to track her down. He can't risk her being found by him first

Even if getting into the records room is illegal he has no other choice since without her the magical world will fall under Voldemort's rule. He would face him milself but since the prophecy does not include him in it that means he has to find her instead

After bribing several employees he finally managed to get his hands on Rose Potter's magical signature

He quickly walked out of the records room and apparated back in front of Hogwarts' and walked up into his office

Dumbledore was in a good mood. He would finally find Rose Potter and train her. Surely she would be more than willing to go with him back to Hogwarts because he was going to save her from her street life and she would see him and the others he was going to pick her up with as her saviors and follow their every order

Just as he started working on the magic detector he heard a knock on his office's door

"Come in!"

The door opened and Minerva McGonagall walked in

"Albus, we need to talk. Why so happy? Did anything happen?"

"Not really, what did you want to talk about Minerva?" He said with a serious look on his face

"We really need to focus on the war Albus, we can't keep searching for Rose, she has been missing for 8 years now, she is most likely dead. You need to start doing something about you-know-who or he is going to keep gaining strength!" She nearly shouted as she got to the end of her sentance

"Minerva, you know what the prophecy says, we cannot give up on our search. Since that prophecy exists, that means she has to be alive somewhere. When we do find her we will all do our best to train her and focus on the war. If the death eaters or Voldemort find her first we will have no chance against him." He said in a calm voice

"I don't care about the Prophecy Albus, If she is in fact alive and we couldn't find her for the last 6 years that means that the dark side won't find her either, we really need to do something against them with or without your help!"

"Minerva, I will not force you to search for Miss Potter, but I will not give up on her. She is out there somewhere and I will do my best to find her."

Minerva sighed "Albus, It seems I can't convience you but please reconsider. The poor child ran away at age 9. The chance of her being alive 8 years later living on the streets is quite low. Goodbye." She said as she left his office

Dumbledore sighed. He couldn't tell her he was going to make a magic detector with her stolen magical signature. After making sure she was gone he resumed working on the magic detector

After 2 hours of hard work Dumbledore finally finished working on the magic detector. He was now a step closer to finally finding Rose. He knew she was not dead. The prophecy clearly stated that Rose had to be the one to kill Voldemort and nobody else. If it wasn't for the prophecy he too would agree that Rose was probably dead but that was impossible. She was the girl-who-lived. If she couldn't survive a few years of abuse and life on the street she didn't have the strength to face voldemort

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

"Albus are you sure you're feeling alright?" asked him Minerva. The man was not looking good, he was constantly staring at the red ring he had on his finger. Was the ring cursed? Was Dumbledore going to die? He was clearly contstantly stressed about something and he hadn't taken a bite off his food, his plate was still full even after sitting there for a full 10 minutes

"I am perfectly healthy despite my age Minerva" Dumbledore was quickly losing his patience. The magic detector that he was wearing as a ring did not go off even once for a whole week now. Was Rose Potter really dead? Had he overestimated Rose's abilities? Did he make the mistake of going against the prophecy? No it couldn't be. Rose survived the killing curse. he was going to bring her back to the magical world and the world was going to get its hero back

"If you're certain..." She hadn't seen him like this for a while. Perhaps it was the guilt of his actions catching up to him. She'd reminded him of the night when she had told him about the muggles he was leaving Rose with at 4 Privet Drive. There was no way a child could survive the terrible abuse those muggles had put her through

"Have all the letters been delivered? We can't have a repeat of Rose's situation happen with muggle raised children" Dumbledore said trying to change the subject

"Yes indeed they have, I highly doubt any other child will have to ever go through what young Rose had gone through Albus." Magical children were considered greatly valuable since magical population has been declining, no magical child deserved to be abused like Rose did

"Good good, I'm glad, then I shall bid you farewell, I have many matters to attend to." He said as he stood up and walked back into his office

Minerva had noticed his strange behaviour, something was up and she knew him well enough to notice it

Dumbledore charmed the ring to make noise at night since he would probably not notice the vibrations during his sleep. As he wasn't woken up even once that night Dumbledore began losing hope. Just because the magic detector worked it didn't mean Rose was alive and he had lost a lot of hope over the week

That morning, Minerva walked into his office while he was writing something "Albus, I know you're up to something, what have you been doing?"

Dumbledore stared at her with a confused expression as if he had no idea what she had just asked

"You're way too... active nowadays... have you been eating too many lemon drops?" She knew that consuming too much sugar at his age wasn't good. Just like with muggles, high blood pressure was a big problem when it came to the elderly

Dumbledore couldn't tell her the truth. He couldn't say he was waiting for Rose to hopefully use magic so he decided to put on a guilty look and act as if that was the real issue nehind his behaviour. Rose had a duty to fufill and he couldn't let the law stop him when it came to fighting agaist Voldemort

"Albus, you know this isn't good for you" she said, completely falling for the mask he had put on, it turns out she didn't know him as well as she thought, she only knew about the masks he has worn over the years "You can't consume that much sugar at your age Albus, that goes for both of us"

"I know Miverva, I know" he said as he wrote his name at the bottom of the paperwork he had in front of him before fully turning his attention towards her

"This is about Rose isn't it?" she said taking a seat much to Dumbledore's displeasure

"I just wish I at least had a vague undestanding of her current situation" Dumbledore sighed, he really didn't want to talk about this to her right now

"Albus, the child was 9 years old when she ran off to live on the streets. Do you really think she could have survived?" she asked. This was always the part where they disagreed

"I hope she did as much as you do Minerva, you know how important she is in this war agaist him" If he survived the most deadly wizard of all time surely her uncle and the streets wouldn't stop her. Dumbledore blindly believed in Divination and it seemed that Voldemort was on the same page with him on that subject

"You cannot be serious Albus, she was just a little girl! Killing curse or not, that doesn't mean anything when you're out on the streets with no wand or magic knowledge" she sighed and decided to give up, when the arguement got heated up, Albus wouldn't stop talking to defend his point "Excuse me Albus but I have classes to prepare for" she said as she stood up and left his office

Dumbledore sighed, they never agreed on this, sood she would find that Rose was alive and well. He had already managed to locate 5 of his horcruxes amd destroyed them, Hufflepuff's cup was the hardest to get since he had to pay nearly a million galleons in bribes to gain access to it and now all he needed was Rose to sacrifice herself to get rid of the last horcrux so he could step in and finish him off

Just as Minerva left the office, as if fate had listened to him and bent to his will, he felt a vibration on his finger
