AN: Hey everyone I hope you enjoyed the last chapter. In response to Aion the god of eternity, no this will not turn into a porn plot. I also agree I kind of went overboard on sexualizing everything and am taking a step back from that. Just remember that for any of Percy's checking girls out, he is slightly different from canon. And he is also a 16-year-old in a 12-year-old's body. Perstia is still and will still be a thing, I do plan on Percy X Katie as well. But I doubt I will add Katie to the harem until like Sea of monsters or Titans curse. But most likely Sea of monsters since Artemis and Zoe are introduced in Titans curse. Anyways I am going to make a poll for whether or not you guys want lemons. I also have a poll on whether or not you guys want concubines. After all, a King must produce heirs, correct? Also please check my Profile for two new polls I posted a few days ago!

A super SUPER special thank you to ZeroTheSoldier and SealedAlucard for their support on . Thank you for showing me I can actually make money doing what I love. That is all I ever wanted, to have some semblance of freedom from the monotony of life. Being able to do what I love and make a living off of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Do I really need to go on?

Accept quest? Yes/No

Quest Automatically accepted because you don't have a choice but to accept.

My eye twitched as that notification popped up in front of me. While the rewards looked amazing, the sass of the system, or I guess my patron, was annoying. Honestly though, he was correct. With so many negatives, if I were to fail this quest, I truly did not have an option but to accept and complete it. The experience was absolutely insane and the extra 20,000 exp for giving Hades' helm back was nice. After this quest I am going to double in level which is amazing. Those stat and perk points will be useful later on.

I started looking through my list of skills, trying to find some that would be most beneficial during the quest. It took a few minutes since I had a decent amount of skills, but I picked a few that would be invaluable during this.

Strong Arm Lvl- 1 (Special Conditions required for leveling up)

Boosts strength by 100% for a certain amount of time. This time limit, as well as the boost given will increase as your body gets used to the strain of this perk.

Time Limit- 2 Minutes

Iron Skin Lvl- Max

Hardens your skin to that of iron, giving one defense point per point of mana put into the skill. There is no cap to how much defense you can have.

Super Speed Lvl- 14 (85%)

This Skill will absorb your Running Skill, replacing it. This skill allows you to move at speeds faster than almost all humans. This skill can evolve at higher levels.

Speed- 90 Mph (+5 Mph per level)

Physical Endurance Lvl -3 (8%)

Your body's resistance to damage has increased slightly, making you take less damage from attacks!

Take 3% less damage from physical attacks (+1% Per Level)

Thought Acceleration Lvl- Max

This increases your thinking speed, allowing your mind to keep up with your body. This skill is taxing on your mind and can only be used for a certain amount of time. The more your body gets used to this skill, the longer you can use it for.

Acceleration- 300%

Time Limit- 1 Minutes

Those five would help me immensely in the fight against Ares, and even against Echidna and the Chimera. I pulled a water bottle out of my backpack and decided to play with my powers a bit. Since my mana regeneration outclassed the cost of Hydrokinesis by almost five times, I could play with my powers as much as I wanted. First I made a tiny water sword, then a wolf, then a dolphin, and so on. "Why are you doing that?" Katie asked from beside me. "I am bored, we still have like half an hour before we reach the bus stop Argus is bringing us to. Might as well practice my powers. You never know when you might need to use them." I told her while trying to make a very detailed water replica of her. Honestly, it was pretty difficult since I had never really trained with precision in mind when using my water powers. Usually it was just trying to either kill fast or do a powerful blow. "That's so cool." Grover said, admiring my miniature version of Katie. Katie herself poked the mini figurine of herself, sending a ripple through the water.

I smiled and made the water float back into the bottle before putting the cap back on and placing it into my backpack. "How well can you use your own powers Katie?" I asked her, placing my backpack below my feet. She rummaged around in her own pack before pulling out a ziplock bag of seeds. She took a seed out and stared at it. The seed started to expand before cracking open, a small vine rapidly growing out of it. It stopped after a few seconds, having grown into a 3 foot long vine. Then it started to wither away, turning into dust. "It's not much, but I can increase the growth rate of plants, and control them with my mind. I can even make plants produce more crops or make them wither away. I don't know how helpful it will be on this quest though." She said, looking slightly worried. I just smiled at her. "Honestly, that is going to be a huge help. Imagine if we get attacked in a forest or somewhere with grass. With Grover's nature magic plus your ability to control plants, you could probably kill monsters like that. Even if you couldn't, you could incapacitate them long enough for me to strike and destroy them." I told her, trying to boost her confidence. Both of my companions smiled. "I appreciate the confidence." Grover said before eating a tin can. Katie nodded in agreement.

Six Hours Later~

I was on high alert. I knew it was about time for the furies to show up on the bus we got onto. Although, there should only be two of them since Alecto was currently in my possession, under Soul Enslavement. Grover was asleep across the aisle, with Katie staring out the window beside me. I was in the aisle seat, having let Katie take the window seat when she asked. I guess Katie noticed me on edge because she nudged my shoulder, "Hey, what's wrong? You look like you are waiting for something." She asked quietly. "I am waiting for something. We are both powerful children of the original six Olympians. We are bound to attract something." I warned her. She pulled out dagger from her backpack, clutching it tightly. The bus slowed down and finally stopped to pick up new passengers. At that same time Grover woke up, sniffing loudly.

He looked over at us, "Guys, we have a problem." He said as quietly as he could while somewhat panicking. Two old ladies got onto the bus and took a seat at the front of the bus. "Percy!" Grover whispered frantically. I gave him a sharp look, "I know, be quiet. I have to think of a way to get rid of them without hurting any innocents." I told him and activated Thought Acceleration. So last time I had Annabeth with me, and I used her invisibility cap to get to the front of the bus and swerve the wheel. Then Annabeth and Grover held the furies down while I killed them. That won't exactly work here, since I didn't bring Annabeth due to… reasons. I could activate super speed, but I do not know what kind of damage I would cause in such a small space. The wind pressure could throw people around, or the force used to propel my body forwards could crush the axles on the bus. I only have a few seconds before they announce they are coming to the back so I need to figure something out. I could use Strong Arm, but again it is too destructive in a small space. I can't use Pyrokinesis since that would definitely harm innocents. What can I do!? Think, think, think!? I screamed inside my head, running through every idea I could. It had been about 30 seconds, though in my head it was a minute and thirty seconds, due to the time dilation effect of Thought Acceleration. Then it hit me. I'm such an idiot! I mentally berated myself and deactivated my skill, only leaving my head throbbing slightly. "I have a plan, you two. Katie, I need you to get ready to throw some seeds down. You are going to force them to grow as soon as those two old ladies come back here. I just need you to buy me a few seconds to strike. Grover I need you to play some confusing nature music after Katie tangles up the monsters. If you could possibly speed up the growth of Katie's vines that would be appreciated, but it is fine if you are not able to do that while confusing the mortals." I told them. They both nodded, serious faces on. Well for Katie at least, poor Grover looked like he was about to piss his pants with fear. It seems he could tell how powerful the two monsters were.

"We need to use the restroom." The two ladies announced, standing up simultaneously. None of the mortals paid them any attention as they began walking down the aisle towards us. "Now!" I whispered to Katie as she threw some seeds on the ground. I knew they wouldn't last long since they did not have any source of nutrients, and would only stay alive as long as Katie supplied power to them. I watched as some seeds slid under the seats on each side of the aisle, while some remained in the middle of the aisle. The two furies stopped right before the seeds, not even noticing them. "Perseus Jackson! Where is our sister!? What have you done to her?" Megaera screeched. I motioned my hand to Katie, signalling her to start growing the vines. "I do not know what you mean. Who is your sister?" I asked innocently. Tisiphone snarled. "Alecto! She was sent to watch you as the Thief. She did not report to our lord when she was supposed to! Where is she!?" Tisiphone screamed as they both started to transform. "Now!" I shouted and the vines that had begun to grow slowly, rapidly wrapped around the furies legs. They screeched in confusion and indignation as their legs were tangled up in vines. Grover began playing music to further increase their confusion, as well as distract the mortals. The driver start swerving and began pulling off the road. \

Now! I screamed in my head. I pulled out Black Flash and lunged forward, impaling Tisiphone with my knife. She coughed, and disappeared into dust. "Tisiphone!" Megaera screeched and I put my knife to her throat. "Tell your master I do not have the bolt." I said and stabbed her up through her jaw, and into her brain. She quickly dissolved into dust. Just then the air filled with Ozone and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. "EVERYONE OFF THE BUS, THERE'S A BOMB!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. There was a rush of people and screams. I grabbed our bags, threw them into my inventory and grabbed my two companions. I rushed out, pulling them along just as a large lightning bolt hit the bus, causing it to explode. Then activating Mist Control I changed a few features of my face, such as my hair and eyes, so I looked different. I heard the snap of a camera as I ran into the forest with my friends. Now I shouldn't be hunted too badly.

We kept running for what felt like forever. Finally we stopped at a clearing covered in litter. Katie was breathing extremely hard, unable to catch her breath. Grover was out of breath but not nearly as bad as Katie. As for me, I honestly did not feel a thing. Thanks to Gamer's Body keeping me in fighting shape. With what seems to be stamina of no upper limit. While I can still get mentally exhausted, I noticed I do not actually need sleep, or food for that matter. I can still get nutrients from eating, as well as the bonus healing from eating food. It just is no longer necessary for me to survive. Even if my body does lose all nutrients, or become completely dehydrated, my health regeneration will outpace almost any negative side effects. Also meaning I most likely no longer get sick now that I think about it.

You have gained +1 Int and +1 Wis for figuring out how Gamer's Body works!

Int- 31

Wis- 13

Huh, so I was actually right about how it worked. Most of what I thought was just a guess. But I guess I am kind of immortal now. Except I think I can still age. Even if I got a serious disease, I would just continuously heal.

"P-Percy," Katie panted softly, finally catching her breath. "How do you not even look tired. Even Grover looked somewhat tired and he's a satyr." She asked, finally standing up straight. I just shrugged. "Maybe it's because I'm a son of Poseidon. I might just have a naturally large amount of stamina." I lied.

Katie nodded, accepting my answer. Grover looked around in disgust at all the garbage littering the floor. "Let's setup camp here for the night." I told them. "But our stuff was on that bus! We don't even have any extra clothes." Katie exclaimed. "What even happened anyways?" Grover asked. I glared up at the sky and released as much blood lust as I could. "The Sky god tried to kill us." I snarled. "What!" There Were two exclamations of panic. "Interfering with a quest to find his own bolt! Trying to kill the children of both his brother and sister! What a fool! Not only will his bolt not be found, but he is seeking war with two of his siblings!" I roared into the sky. The ground shook with angry thunder and Grover yelped in fear. I just kept glaring at the sky, knowing even Zeus was not stupid enough to try the same thing twice. "You know it's true Zeus. Even you could not win against two of your own siblings." I said before looking back at the ground, finally calming down. "About our bags…" I said, pulling them out of my inventory. "W-what? What was that!? Is that some type of magic?" Katie asked, staring at me with wonder in her eyes. "I guess you could say that. I call it my inventory. I can store anything I want in it basically. I have not really found an upper limit to it." I told them honestly, feeling no need to hide it due to Katie asking if it was magic.

"That's so freaking cool!" Grover said, grabbing his backpack and laying out his sleeping bag. "I'll take first watch. Get some rest." I told them. Grover nodded and laid down. Katie gave me a side glance before laying down. "Wake one of us up in a few hours for the next shift." She said before laying down and falling asleep. I sighed and decided to do some training. Something I really needed to level up was Thought Acceleration. Because while one minute, being extended to three for me was extremely helpful, the skill itself said I could use it for longer once my mind was able to handle it. I also needed to put some more Mp into Iron skin, since that will be useful as well. I wrapped my head in a bubble of water I took from a water bottle and activated Thought Acceleration.

Son of Poseidon Title Activated! +2000 Hp, +1000 Mp, +20 Str, +20 Vit, +20 Dex, x2 Hp and Mp regeneration after initial heal.

Hp- 3,700/3,700

Mp- 1,850/1,850

Wait a second. Since Mp regen will heal my Mp bar fully, with 7% healing per minute. That means I can dump 1,850 mana into Iron Skin just over every 8 minutes. Sweet! My defense is gonna be insane by the time morning comes! I thought happily. I crossed my legs on my own sleeping bag, getting into a meditative pose. Thus began my long night of intense training.

10 hours later~

I spend 10 hours training, and it SUCKED. Honestly, it sucked so bad that I even developed a new skill because of it.

New Skill Created!

Pain Tolerance Lvl- 12(35%)

This increases your tolerance for pain. Even at the highest level it will not block out 100% of your pain, since pain is your body's way to tell you that you have been hurt. It will help you deal with any form of pain though.

Current Pain Tolerance- 12% (+1% per level)

I also ended up improving Thought Acceleration, Iron Skin, and HydroKinesis.

Hydrokinesis Lvl- 13 (27%)

Due to being the Son of Poseidon, you have control over water

Cost- 8 Mp/Minute (-1 Mp per level)

Thought Acceleration Lvl- Max

This increases your thinking speed, allowing your mind to keep up with your body. This skill is taxing on your mind and can only be used for a certain amount of time. The more your body gets used to this skill, the longer you can use it for.

Acceleration- 400% (+50% Acceleration per extra minute of Time Limit)

Time Limit- 3 Minutes

Iron Skin Defense-127,950

I had put every bit of Mp I had into that skill for 10 hours straight. While I was confident that essentially 127,950 extra Hp would definitely save my life at some point along the way, in the grand scheme of things it still was not much. I will have to focus on leveling up Int and Wis so that I could get extra mana storage and regeneration. Maybe after the quest I will start reading again. With Thought Acceleration I could read extremely quickly. And if I wrapped water around my head so I would regenerate faster, I would level up not only Thought Acceleration but also Pain Tolerance, HydroKinesis, and increase my Iron Skin Defense.

I sighed as I was abruptly taken out of my thoughts by hearing two groans. I turned to look at the two next to me, they sat up and looked around, seeing that it was already morning. Katie yawned loudly. "Percy, why didn't you wake me up for a second shift?" She asked angrily. I just smiled, "You needed rest. I wasn't tired anyways. I hope you two slept well, because we have to get on the road soon." I told them, packing up my things. Katie sighed, deciding to let the fact that I let them both sleep instead of waking one up go. She packed up her things and snacked on a granola bar, then drank some water. Grover ate a tin can and some vegetables he had packed before drinking some water as well. They both packed up their sleeping bags and we started walking in a random direction.

We walked for a few hours, before I heard both Katie and Grover's stomachs growl once more. "Ugh, do you think we will find a road soon? I could use some good napkins." Grover complained. "I really could go for something greasy too. Maybe a hamburger or some french fries." Katie said, her mouth practically watering at the thought. Camp served mostly healthy foods, so greasy fast food was kind of a delicacy to most campers. We finally exited the forest and were immediately hit with the smell of fast food. "Do you smell that? It smells like food!" Grover practically screamed. Following the smell led us to a small store, whose name I managed to make out thanks to my Modern English skill. 'Auntie M's Garden Emporium' the sign read. We walked through the stone garden, when Grover stopped in front of a statue of a satyr. "Hey, this statue looks like my uncle Ferdinand. He even has the mole in the same place. But it can't be him, he got his searcher's license a few years ago and went looking for Pan." Grover said, before continuing on to the small shop.

The door opened as a tall lady in a black shawl appeared in the opening. "Dear children, what are you doing out here all alone?" She asked kindly. Before either of the other two could respond, I answered myself. "We are orphans, we got lost on a camping trip. We wandered around the forest all night and finally found your shop." I lied.

Lie Successful!

"Oh my! Come inside children, I'm sure you are hungry. I will get you something to eat." She said, ushering us inside. We followed as she led us to a dining table. "Please sit Perseus. I will get you all some food." She said sweetly. "My name is Auntie M." "Thank you for your hospitality Auntie M." Grover said, sitting down at the table with Katie. The woman walked into the kitchen. "You guys stay here, I am going to see if Auntie M needs any help in the kitchen." I told them and followed her into the kitchen. I saw her preparing some food. I stood there for a few seconds before speaking up. "I apologize for what my father did to you, Medusa." I told her earnestly. She stiffened, before her shoulders sagged. "How did you know?" She asked quietly. "Stone statues, random shop in the middle of the forest, some random woman named 'Auntie M', it is kind of obvious honestly." I told her, moving closer till I was a few feet behind her. She turned around and looked at me. "So what now? Going to kill me and take my head as a trophy? Or are you going to torture me?" She asked. I could see her body quivering slightly and felt sad for her. "Take off your shawl." I told her. I could tell by her posture she was surprised. "B-but you know who I am. Why would you ask me to do that?" She asked, completely baffled. "Just do it, the worst that will happen is me being turned to stone. Also take off your sunglasses." I told her. She hesitantly did as I said. I stared into her eyes, they were a lot like mine. A shining blue. Even after being transformed her face was utterly beautiful, I could tell why my father had fallen for her.

Petrification Attempt Detected!

Petrification blocked by Gamer's Body!

Her face lit up with shock. "H-how?" She asked. I walked closer to her, keeping eye contact. "I am not your average demigod." I said and gently hugged her. She stiffened before tentatively returning the hug. I imagine it has been a very long time since she has had any physical contact with anyone. I felt her snakes rubbing their faces against my cheeks and neck. Sometimes I would feel a small tongue flick out across my neck. It honestly felt weird. Having cold limbs constantly rubbing against you. I wish there was some way to help her. Maybe remove her curse. But I could not do it with my own power right now.

Accept Quest? Yes/No

I quickly accepted, even though I had no idea how I would go about doing so. Then, right after accepting the aura I recognized all too well began to surround us. Medusa jerked back and looked around. The world was frozen, with only one man shrouded in shadows being able to move besides us two. I do not blame her for being on edge, his aura was like being touched by a warm fire, and being dunked in a frozen lake at the same time. Everything and its opposite. Light and dark, life and death. That is what he felt like.

I saw his lips turn up into a smile. "I can help you accomplish your quest, my champion. You need just to ask me." He said, walking over slowly."

AN: hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. It is another long one that took me a few hours to write. I got into a groove and couldn't find a good place to end off on so I just kept writing. Leave your ideas for what all Cursed Absorption will do for Percy. I hope you like my version of Medusa as well. I am thinking about doing some side quests for percy, such as curing Medusa like in this chapter. I hope you all like my very own version of the lightning thief quest! Have a great day!
