AN: Hey everyone. Originally I was going to write more about Percy's quest, but in light of a comment from Xerzo LotCN, I decided this chapter will be about Archelaus and Aphrodite :). Xerzo please skip this since you do not like these kinds of side plots. If a girl is not included in the harem there is a REASON. Percy isn't gonna be with every girl. Last Time~
They both smiled and I looked at the time. "Shit! We only have five minutes before the train departs! We gotta go!" I yelled and ran for the train, Katie and Grover following close behind. I honestly could not help but smile. It felt nice having so many people care about me. I had Katie, Grover, my mom, my patron, Hestia, Medusa(I think?), the unclaimed kids at camp. So many people precious to me. It just made my will power grow stronger. I would stop Kronos, even if I have to destroy myself to do so.
Now(During Percy's Train ride to Denver, will take about a day)~
Archelaus woke up with a start, not quite remembering how he had gotten into this extremely pink room. He felt a weight on his chest and looked down and saw a beautiful woman, sleeping soundly on his chest. Her silky hair almost completely covering his face. Then, memories came flooding back and a small smile graced his face. He gently brushed the hair away from her cheek, tucking it behind her ear. She had a small smile on her beautiful face as she slept, curled up into his side. He snapped his fingers softly, summoning a soft blanket and draped it over her. She grabbed the blanket and tugged it closer in her sleep, making the man she was using as a body pillow chuckle softly. He slowly stroked her hair, enjoying her silky locks flowing through his fingers. He honestly could not understand why being in this situation made him so content. A feeling he had not experienced in many years. Sure he had been happy before, especially with his first lover and their children. Even then he had not felt this content. He kept meditating on his thoughts for an unknown amount of time, continuously stroking Aphrodite's hair.
A yawn knocked him from his thoughts as the girl on his chest rose up, blanket sliding down her back and his hand falling out of her hair. She daintily put her hand in front of her mouth as she yawned once more, "What time is it?" She asked, looking around. I made a watch appear in my hand. "It is 9:34 Am." Was his reply. She nodded and stretched, making the blanket fall all the way down her back. "Last night was fun." Archelaus told her. She turned towards him and smiled. "It was honestly the most fun I have had in centuries. It's been a long time since anyone has actually, you know, wanted to just sit down and watch something with me." She said the last part alittle bit sadly. "Well, why don't we go out today?" The brown eyed god asked. Her royal blue eyes lit up with excited.
"Ooh where?" She asked eagerly. "Anywhere you want. Where would you like to go?" He asked her. She put a hand on her chin and closed her eyes concentrating. Archelaus couldn't help but think how cute she was when she was thinking. She looked over at the man beside her and gave a silly smile. "How about the moon?" She said jokingly. "Alright." Was his simple response. She raised an eyebrow. "You know I was joking right?" She asked curiously. He just gave a smile of his own, "But I'm not." He said and snapped his fingers. Immediately they were transported to the moon and a bubble of air formed around them. Aphrodite looked around frantically before staring at Archelaus. "How!?" she nearly shrieked. "Simple, I just transported us up here and am continuously creating a bubble of oxygen around us so we can breathe. Nothing too hard. Oh, I am also blocking Artemis' sight so she can't see us. I can feel her trying to figure out who is up here." He said the last part, chuckling softly. Aphrodite for her part, looked absolutely bewildered. "B-but how? I am so confused." She said, bouncing up and down, seemingly amused by the severe lack of gravity. "I willed it to happen, so it did. I told you, I witnessed your birth. I have learned many things over the years." He told her simply, trying not to watch her breasts as they bounced up and down whenever she jumped.
She stopped jumping and walked over to Archelaus. "So what now?" She asked, having finally adjusted to the moon. He snapped his fingers and a picnic blanket and basket appeared on the ground, held down by his own power. "Let's eat." he told her, jumping over to the blanket and slowly floating down into a sitting position. She nodded happily and sat down next to him. She pulled a sandwich out of the basket and started eating. "Mm, this is delicious." She said after swallowing her first bite. Archelaus smiled and grabbed one himself, chowing down. There was a bottle of wine with two wine glasses. Archelaus pulled them out of the basket and sat them down gently. He uncorked the bottle, which caused the cork itself to shoot off towards space. They both watched it for a few seconds as it floated out into space. The brown eyed god looked back down and tilted the wine bottle, making the atmospheric pressure on the wine high enough so that it flowed from the bottle and stayed in the cups. He handed one to Aphrodite and kept one for himself.
"Cheers." He said holding up his glass. She tapped hers against his, resulting in a low tink echoing through the area. They sipped on the wine and smiled. "Delicious," Aphrodite told him, to which he nodded in response, taking an additional sip of his own wine. She scooted over, laying her head on his shoulder. "You know, the past day or so has been the best in my immortal life." Aphrodite said softly. He looked down at her, "Truly?" Archelaus asked softly. She nodded into his shoulder and looked up at the man whose shoulder she rested upon. He smiled, bringing his free hand up to caress her cheek softly. She leaned into his hand, closing her eyes softly. He leaned down slowly, not stopping even when her eyes opened and he could see the surprise in them. Instead of backing away, she met him in the middle, their lips pressing together softly in a chaste kiss. After a few seconds they pulled away, smiling softly. "What was that for?" Aphrodite asked curiously. "You are just too beautiful, I couldn't resist." Archelaus replied flirtatiously. She giggled and blushed lightly, nuzzling her face into his shoulder, where they stayed for the rest of the day, before going back to her temple and going to sleep together on the couch once more.
AN: Hey guys, sorry about how short and lackluster this chapter is. Some stuff happened irl that kind of knocked me out of my writing mind set. I have been super exhausted lately as well. I will probably start an update schedule of once a week, so that when stuff like this happens you guys will always have a chapter ready, especially if I get onto a roll and write a few chapters in a single week. This will start today, so a new chapter will hopefully be ready by next sunday. Patrons will get to view them as soon as they are ready, as I will be posting them early on !
