(Still at) La Casa De Berry
Santana sighed and reluctantly went into the living room where Rachel was trying to gather everyone else's attention. Quinn found a seat between Blaine and Tina and Santana walked over to where Puck was sitting.
The game of charades only went on for a couple rounds before Rachel gave up. Kurt was passed out on a bean bag and Mercedes and Sam were off in their own corner. Everyone else was in their own little conversations.
For the next hour, Quinn talked to Blaine, Mike, and Tina. She knew Blaine was one of Santana's best friends and that he was staying with her. He was funny and got along well with the rest of them, but Quinn couldn't help her eyes drifting to Santana every once in a while. She didn't like what she saw at all.
Santana was talking to Rachel's castmates and one girl in particular, Bree, was smiling a bit too much and placed her hand on Santana's arm.
Santana looked over at Quinn and each time they made eye contact, Quinn did not look happy. This caused Santana to look away quickly, not wanting to upset her further.
Eventually Rachel put on an Avengers movie and they were mostly distracted. Until the Bitch (in Quinn's opinion), Bree leaned in to whisper something in Santana's ear halfway through the movie.
"Are you okay Quinn?" Mike asked, noticing the girl's scowl.
Quinn begrudgingly tore her eyes away and nodded. "Just gonna use the bathroom." She got up and made a beeline upstairs.
She freshened herself up as she looked at her own reflection. She let out a deep breath, trying to calm the green eyed monster inside her. Santana was technically single, but she couldn't help feeling jealous anyway. She did not like seeing her close with other girls. This must've been how Santana felt seeing Quinn with Biff. It made her feel slightly guilty for their conversation that went down in the kitchen.
She recollected her thoughts and exhaled deeply before reaching to open the door.
Santana was leaning against the hallway waiting when she stepped out of the bathroom. Quinn looked surprised to see her standing there.
Santana wore a tight lipped sheepish smile. "Look Quinn, you're right. I was jealous and I'm sorry I overreacted," she ranted. "I really don't like that guy talking to you, but I don't like fighting with you more."
Quinn found herself trying to fight back a smile at Santana's words.
"I don't like you talking with that bitch either," she admitted.
Santana buried her eyebrows. "Who?"
"Bree."
"Who the hell is Bree?
Quinn bit her lip trying not to laugh. She composed herself and made a disgusted face. "The girl you were talking to. She was whispering in your ear and touching your arm."
Oh that girl.
"I don't even know her and why she did that."
Quinn rolled her eyes. "Because you're such a big flirt."
Santana smirked, Quinn was jealous. "It doesn't matter because I only like blondes." This received her a push on the shoulder. She caught Quinn's hand and took a step closer. Brown eyes searched hazel ones. "I'm serious. I don't care about her or anyone else. I like you." She paused. "I know it's not the most ideal way to ask you, because we just had an argument. Originally I wanted to set up a nice date and ask you then..."
Quinn bit her tongue as she continued.
"... but I don't want to see you with anyone else. You're my girl, Quinn."
They looked at each other silently.
"So ask me..." Quinn said softly.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Santana finally asked.
A slow smile started forming on Quinn's face. Instead of answering, she pulled Santana in by her t-shirt and connected their lips. Santana was caught off guard, but quickly kissed her back. She wrapped her arms around her waist and Quinn's around her neck. Quinn bit Santana's lower lip and massaged her tongue along the spot. Santana moaned and Quinn smirked to herself.
They pulled back with their foreheads resting together, trying to catch their breath.
"Is that a yes?"
"No."
"No?" Santana repeated, confused.
Quinn smiled. "No. I just needed to know that you were planning on asking me. I want to know that this is leading somewhere and that we aren't dancing around the subject. Not right now because we were both jealous. I want you to ask me when and how you originally planned to," she clarified.
Santana smiled slowly, understanding what she meant. "Okay."
Quinn reached down and intertwined their fingers together. "You're going to have to woo me. I'm not easy Lopez."
Santana chuckled. "Trust me, I will."
"And just so we're clear, if I catch you flirting with anyone else, I have no problem using my dad's connections at the station," she said nonchalantly.
Santana's eyes widened comically.
And with that Quinn pulled them back to the living room. She sent a big fake smile over to Bree when they sat back down next to each other this time. Bree threw a dirty look at their conjoined hands.

La Casa De Fabray
It was early afternoon on Saturday when Santana pulled up to the Fabray's driveway. She grabbed the patriotic colored bouquet and gift bag from her passenger seat and walked up to the front door. She rang the doorbell and noticed there was an unfamiliar car parked. They must have had a guest over.
Moments later, Judy answered the door.
"Santana! Come on in," the woman exclaimed. She pulled the teenager in for a quick hug. "Quinnie is finishing up packing, are those for her?" Judy asked, referring to the items in her hand.
"No, these are for you and Mr. Fabray. Happy Fourth," Santana smiled. She followed Judy from the foyer into the living room where Russell sat.
"Happy Fourth dear," the older blonde beamed at her, taking the bouquet into the kitchen.
"What is this gift I hear of," Russell stood up to greet her with a firm handshake and she handed the gift bag to him.
The older man laughed when he pulled out a black Lakers t-shirt with 17 time champs on the back.
Since their first meeting, Santana has gotten in good graces with the two older Fabrays, especially Quinn's dad. If he was home when she came by to pick Quinn up for their dates, they would spend a few minutes chatting and catching up mostly about basketball. Mr. Fabray seemed much more friendly and welcoming as they got to know each other more. He was still dead set on the Clippers being the best LA team, but Santana was determined to change that.
"I figured since I was kidnapping Quinn this weekend that I should come bearing gifts."
"You're lucky I like you kid," Russell joked before turning to the two guests on the couch. "This is my oldest daughter Frannie and my son-in-law Jeff."
Santana greeted and shook their hands. Quinn had mentioned them a few times and she knew that Quinn worked at Jeff's office, but she had yet to meet them. Jeff was a good-looking man, he had light brown hair, almost ginger and wore a neatly trimmed beard. Frannie was a beautiful woman with hazel eyes and blonde hair similar to Quinn's except she looked more like Russell and Quinn looked more like Judy.
"Hello, great to finally put a face to a name," Frannie smiled knowingly.
"The infamous Santana, you've been kidnapping Quinn during lunch at the office too," Jeff said.
"That would be me. Nice to meet you both."
Judy joined them and they made a little small talk before Quinn came down the stairs, struggling with a duffle bag in hand.
"Hey, you're here," Quinn beamed.
Santana walked over and helped her place the bag down. "I wanted to come early and help you pack, but apparently you've been talking about me to your family," she smirked.
Quinn blushed. Just then a little girl poked her head out from behind her. It was Quinn's adorable niece.
"Hi there," Santana smiled and waved at the little one.
"Say hi to Santana, Livi," Frannie said.
Olivia waved shyly and mumbled a quick hello and ran to her parents, which garnered chuckles from the adults.
"She's shy around new people," Jeff said, ruffling her hair. The little blonde was still taking peeks at Santana, hiding her face in her mother's arms."
"Quinnie you should see the beautiful flowers Santana brought," Judy beamed.
"And this t-shirt," Russell held up the gift. "I think it's a fair tradeoff for my daughter."
Santana and Jeff laughed.
"Dad!"
"Is Auntie Q your girlfriend, Santana?" Livi asked shyly.
Now all the attention was on Santana. She smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to say. "Um... I'm working on it kiddo. Your aunt's hard to impress."
Quinn now sported crimson cheeks. Santana just admitted she was courting her. It wasn't new information, but she had admitted it in front of her family.
"Aww," the two older blonde women cooed.
"Okay, we gotta go," Quinn said, wanting to avoid more embarrassment. She knew her parents and now sister were gonna tease her about it to no end.
They said goodbye to the family and Santana carried Quinn's bag out to the car. She placed it in the trunk before going to unlock Quinn's door. Quinn was looking at her with crossed arms and a feigned grumpy expression.
Santana grinned and gently uncrossed the girl's arms, taking pale hands into her own tan ones. "I think it's cute how your family likes me," she teased.
Quinn squinted her eyes. "You're so annoying."
"You like me though," Santana leaned in to kiss her cheek and Quinn tried hard not to smile.
"Auntie Q?"
The two teenagers turned to Livi who was looking at them.
"Hi cutie, come here," Quinn waved her closer.
The 8-year-old walked to them sheepishly. Santana smiled as the girl glanced between them before turning to Quinn. "You're not doing fireworks?"
"No I'm sorry Livi, I'm going out with my friends and Santana."
The young girl pouted, they always did fireworks together.
"I know what'll cheer you up," Santana shuffled in her backseat and pulled out a mini pot of dandelions. She handed it over with an encouraging smile. "Here, cutie. It's all yours."
Livi blushed at the compliment and took it. "Thank you."
"How about fireworks with Auntie Q next weekend? She can take you to the carnival?" Santana suggested.
Livi thought for a moment then nodded happily. "I like that."
Quinn smiled, that was a good idea to make it up to her.
"Will you come with us?" The young girl was looking at Santana now.
Santana l was taken aback at the question. "That's okay. You can spend time with your aunt and have lots of fun."
"I want you to come... You're very nice to me and you make Auntie Q so happy," the little blonde spoke softly with pink cheeks. She looked so adorable.
Quinn and Santana exchanged a look and the latter agreed. "Sure, I'll come."
Livi seemed satisfied with that. She grinned widely before running back inside the house. Frannie was at the front door watching the exchange. The woman smiled and waved at them. The two reciprocated and they got in the car.
"So you just keep flowers in your car?" Quinn asked playfully.
"Just for the pretty blondes like your mom and niece," Santana winked and got an eye roll in response. "I'm just kidding, that was supposed to be for you, but Livi looked like she could use it."
Quinn felt her heart melt at those words and she leaned over to place a kiss on a tan cheek. Santana grinned and turned her head to capture pink lips. It was a brief soft kiss.
Quinn sat back in her seat asSantana started reversing out the driveway. "I like you a lot today."
"I like you too, Auntie Q."

Laguna Beach
An hour and half later, Santana pulled up to their beach house. It was an oceanfront villa covered in white brick and panoramic windows. It was a really nice place, Quinn wondered how Puck managed to pull it off. It looked huge, the big second floor balcony even had furniture that would put most living rooms to shame.
Sam's blue Chevy sedan and Puck's black Mustang were already parked in the long driveway. They got out and Santana pulled their bags out and they made their way inside.
"I was wondering when you were gonna show," Puck said from the open kitchen. There were already some drinks on the island.
"Yeah we're getting ready for the all white party on the pier." Jake said, he was one of Puck's cousins that tagged along.
Santana nodded and greeted the three guys with a G-lock handshake.
"Cedes and the rest are getting ready," Sam said when Quinn glanced around curiously.
"Sounds good, we'll go get ready then. Puck you better have saved the master bedroom for us."
The mohawk boy pointed down the hall as he drank a Heineken.
The two girls went to the very end of the long hallway and sure enough, it was one of the nicest rooms. It was connected to a walk-in closet on the right and an ensuite bathroom on the left. In the middle was a loveseat, an ottoman footrest and a big flat screen propped on the wall. The edge of the room was a screen door that led directly to the beach. By the sheer size of the house, there must be at least three or four other bedrooms just like this. Quinn's family made good money and lived in Pacific Palisades, but even she was amazed taking it all in.
Santana set their bags down in one corner of the walk-in closet and came back out. She came up behind Quinn and wrapped her arms around her waist and Quinn leaned back relaxing.
They stood there for a moment enjoying the embrace and the beautiful atmosphere.
"Do you like it?"
Quinn nodded and turned around, wrapping her arms around Santana's neck.
"I'm glad to be here."
Santana smiled and pulled her in for a hug. She nuzzled her face into Quinn's neck and breathed in the sweet citrus scent that Quinn wore.
Quinn pecked Santana's cheek and let out a deep breath. They stood there for a few moments.
In the past couple months they've been seeing each other, the two never went further than making out and they hadn't spent time alone in a bedroom. Quinn was feeling a little anxious that they were gonna spend the weekend sharing a space. She was happy to be here with Santana, she was. But she felt a little nervous, too.
"I-I've um... never..." her words had a tough time coming out, especially with Santana's breath pressed into her skin.
Santana pulled back to look at her. Quinn was blushing and looking down. Sensing her nervousness, she tucked a blonde strand behind her ear and cupped her cheek, she gently tilted her head so they could make eye contact.
"What's wrong? Are you feeling car sick?"
Quinn shook her head. "I've never shared a bed with anyone... And I've never... You know."
Santana immediately got what she was trying to say. "Oh," she paused, thinking for a moment on what to say. "I can sleep on the couch if you want? I only brought you here because I wanted to spend time with you. I promise I'm not expecting anything, Quinn." Brown eyes searched hazel ones honestly.
Quinn nodded with a small smile. "I know." Pause. "I want to sleep with you though." Pause. "I-I mean in the same bed. Not the other way." Pause. "I mean I want to do that too, but-" she groaned, frustrated with what she was trying to say.
Santana chuckled, smoothing her thumb over the girl's cheek. "It's okay, I know what you mean," she reassured. "I can still kiss you though right?"
Quinn nodded.
"Then that's perfect for me." Santana smiled and kissed her temple.
Quinn sighed happily. She could literally feel herself floating in Santana's arms.
Their tender moment was broken apart by Puck's loud knocking on the door.
"Are you two decent? We wanna get down to the pier," he yelled over the thick wall.
"Yeah yeah we'll be out soon," Santana shouted back before turning back to Quinn. "You can change in here and I'll change in the bathroom." Santana went into the closet to pull out an outfit and slipped into the ensuite bathroom.
Quinn sighed again looking at the closed bathroom door. Santana was perfect and it made her want her even more. Her feelings were growing stronger and she really was looking forward to their weekend together.
