Laguna Beach

Quinn went into the walk in closet and changed into an all white flowy maxi dress with thin straps. It ended at her knees and had side slits that showed off her legs. She paired it with white strappy heel sandals and quickly touched up her makeup before going out into the living room where everyone else was.

Jake and Puck were taking a couple more shots and Mercedes and Sam were cuddled on the loveseat talking to Blaine and Santana.

Mercedes was wearing a white romper that hugged her curves and all the guys were in something similar, white shorts and a white t-shirt or dress shirt.

Santana however, was in leather sneakers, white low rise pants and a white cropped top that showed off both her cleavage and defined abs. Quinn couldn't stop raking her eyes over her, she wanted to reach out and touch smooth tan skin.

Santana quickly caught her eye and her throat suddenly felt dry looking over Quinn's outfit. Quinn's toned legs were accentuated by her heels and her bare shoulders and minimal cleavage looked amazing. She was quite literally glowing. Angel in white was what came to Santana's mind.

"San!" Before she could say anything, a petite body wrapped their arms around her. She didn't even know who was hugging her, but the girl wore a distinct bubble perfume.

"Well the princess herself finally made an appearance." Puck said, walking toward them.

The girl ignored him and pulled back grinning. "Wow you look great, it's been a while since I've seen you."

"Uh hi Sugar," Santana moved out of the girl's grasp and tried to put some distance between, but Sugar wasn't getting the memo.

"Aren't you glad to see me?" The brunette asked.

Santana saw Sam and Mercedes had stood up next to Quinn. Quinn did not look happy. She was shooting daggers into the side of Sugar's head.

"We should get going," Blaine piped up, trying to save Santana.

The rest agreed and they made their way toward the door. Sugar grabbed onto Santana's arm and pulled her ahead of the group. They headed out and she tried to send an apologetic look back at Quinn, but she wasn't meeting her eyes.

"Look Sugar, we can catch up some other time. I'm here with someone," Santana tried to loosen the grip the girl had on her forearm.

"Who?" Sugar asked, surprised. "You got a girlfriend?"

"Yes. No. I mean not yet, but I really like her. I need to talk to her so she doesn't get the wrong idea." Santana said once again trying to put some distance between them.

"Hmm.." the brunette had a mischievous look. "You know what'll make her really jealous?" Before Santana could respond, she leaned in and kissed Santana's cheek. The latter froze up, not expecting it.

Quinn couldn't believe what she just saw. She felt an ache in her chest seeing the random new girl kiss Santana and that feeling was quickly replaced by extreme annoyance. She quickly brushed past the two of them and Mercedes followed her.

Santana wanted to go after her, but Sugar insistently hooked their arms together and started babbling on and firing questions.

After a short walk, they made it to the lively pier. Quinn made a beeline to an open bar. There were a lot of people dancing and the music was loud. She asked the bartender for shots and immediately downed two.

"Girl stop, we are not babysitting your ass tonight," Mercedes said watching her.

"Did you not see them Cedes?" She said bitterly.

"To be fair that girl just came out of nowhere and came up on Santana, you should give her a chance to explain."

She ignored the statement and pulled Mercedes onto the dancefloor and started dancing. Quinn was so jealous and upset she couldn't even think logically.

Santana finally pulled Sugar aside to set some boundaries. "Listen, you can't touch me like that anymore. I really like Quinn and I want something with her."

The brunette looked taken aback at the serious tone, but understood. "I'm sorry San, I was just happy to see you and you know I like to joke around."

Santana sighed. "I know that, but she doesn't know that. She probably thinks I hooked up with you or something." She shook her head at the thought. "Anyway, no more cheek kisses or hugs or anything okay? I'm serious."

Sugar nodded. "My bad. She must be the real deal," she said slowly. "I'll apologize to her then," she made a move to turn, but Santana held her hand up and stopped her.

"Don't, let me take care of it."

Three songs later, Quinn made her way back to the bar. The last she saw Santana was when she spotted her talking to Sugar off to the side, but she immediately looked away before she could dissect what they were saying. That was a while ago now, She downed a shot and was about to take another when a hand dragged her away.

"What are you doing?" Quinn asked sharply. "Shouldn't you be with your little girlfriend or something."

Santana ran her hand through her dark locks. "Look Quinn, it's not what you think. Sugar's Puck cousin. We go way back-"

"Yeah you looked pretty close to me," Quinn interrupted.

"It's not what you think!" She exclaimed. "She was just messing around. Nothing's ever happened between us."

Quinn was looking everywhere except for her. Santana sighed and took a step closer, taking pale hands into her own tan ones. "I told her to knock it off. I promise you're the only one I want."

Hazel eyes looked at brown ones hesitantly and it's then that Santana noticed Quinn's eyes were slightly glossy. It must have been the emotion combined with alcohol.

"I'm serious about this Quinn. You're the only one I want," she said softly, pulling the girl in for a tight hug.

Quinn shut her eyes trying to will away the tears. She didn't know what came over her. Santana hadn't done anything wrong, it was just her own insecurities getting the best of her. Her arms hung at her sides as Santana held her and whispered in her ear.

"I'm crazy about you," Santana admitted. "You're so special to me. I love that you challenge me. You inspire me. And you scare me with how much you make me feel." She rubbed up and down the girl's back trying to calm her down.

Quinn finally returned the hug by wrapping her arms tightly around Santana's neck. "You scare me too," she said quietly, not trusting her own voice.

They stood there for what felt like eternity, but in reality was just a few minutes. Santana pulled back slowly and looked at the girl she'd been so taken by. She knew that Quinn had been mistreated in past relationships and she wanted to do everything in her power to make her trust her.

Quinn was still feeling a whirl of emotions as she stared into brown eyes again. She felt anxious and slightly dizzy, but most of all she felt safe being in Santana's arms. She was being patient and understanding despite her silly jealousy. She wanted to show her that she appreciated it.

Quinn connected their lips together passionately and Santana immediately responded. Santana ran the palm of her hands from the small of Quinn's back and up around her sides to grip her hips tightly.

Quinn felt tingles run down her spine as the kiss grew more heated. She tangled her hands in dark locks, letting out a whimper and Santana took the opportunity to slide her tongue in. Their knees weakened when their tongues met and massaged together.

She felt buzzed from being so close to Quinn right now. She loved the feeling of the other girl in her arms.

They pulled apart to catch their breath, foreheads pressed together. Quinn placed her hand on a tan cheek and traced over swollen red lips. Santana kissed her thumb pad and they both let out a little smile.

"You're so beautiful," Santana whispered, the honest words slipped out easily.

Quinn turned her head slightly, a light blush taking over her pale cheeks. She nuzzled into Santana's neck and Santana took a deep breath. She just wanted to lean in and kiss her all over again, but she had to remind herself that they were taking it slow.

"I'm sorry for not giving you a chance to explain," Quinn mumbled.

Santana just kissed her temple and sighed contently.

After a few moments they reluctantly broke apart and knew they should probably rejoin the others. They walked hand in hand back to the main bar that their friends were at. Jake, Puck, Sugar were on the dancefloor in between a group of guys and girls, and the rest of them sat drinking and talking.

"There you two are, now let me ask you a question. Am I not the best impressionist you know in real life?" Sam asked.

Blaine snorted.

"I'll let Quinn answer that one," Santana replied, which made everyone else laugh.

The day continued on blissfully, the beach was beautiful and serene unlike how crowded Malibu and Venice could get sometimes.

Puck got to know some college kids and they ended up letting them eat from their BBQ. There were plenty of festive decorations and like true young adults on vacation, they took plenty of pictures for social media.

Santana and Quinn made their way onto the dancefloor at some point and they were all having fun and enjoying themselves.

It was nearly dark, when Quinn stepped away to take her heels off and give her feet a break. Santana had gotten up to buy them milkshakes. It was then someone sat down next to her.

"Hi Quinn, right?" Sugar asked curiously.

Quinn nodded curtly, not really wanting to make conversation. She trusted Santana about how they had nothing between them, but Quinn couldn't help feeling suspicious of the brunette.

"Look, I just wanted to say we may not have gotten off on the right foot. I've known San for a long time and she's like a big sister to me," Sugar sounded sincere. "I didn't know that she was bringing a girlfriend so I'm sorry for the way it looked."

"I'm not.. we're dating, but we're not official."

"You must be important if she asked you to come here," Sugar had a genuine smile. "I can tell you really like her too, especially with how jealous you got seeing us together."

"I do. I'm going to be honest, when I saw you kiss Santana, I wanted to punch you in the face," she admitted.

That elicited a laugh from the other girl and Quinn smiled slightly, too.

"You have nothing to worry about. Anyway, we should have a do over." The girl reached her hand out. "Sugar Motta, nice to meet you."

The girl seemed nice enough. She shook her hand. "Quinn Fabray."

"So you have a nice ass for a white girl, are you a dancer?" Sugar asked.

The crude compliment made her choke on her juice and Sugar just laughed it off.

They talked and got to know each other. Sugar attended a music camp with Puck when they were young and got to know Santana there. When Quinn asked if she sang too, she just responded with she always had a tin ear, but she's passionate about the arts. Her carefree and straight forward attitude was reminiscent of Brittany. She was asking her about cheerleading when Puck came over to the bar.

"Nice to see you two getting along," Puck said.

Sugar rolled her eyes. "Shut it, Puckerman. We're two hot girls, of course we're gonna be friends."

Puck snorted, sipping his drink.

A few hours later when the fireworks show had ended, the group of friends split off doing their own thing. Sam and Mercedes headed back to the house while Blaine and Sugar were talking to some guys at the bar. Jake was back on the dancefloor and Puck nowhere to be found (presumably hooking up).

Quinn and Santana held hands and were walking on the beach barefoot. It was a nice break from all the dancing. It was dark and peaceful, the only sounds were some background noise from the pier and the waves hitting the shore.

Quinn wore a soft smile as Santana looked at the ocean, swinging their hands back and forth. The breeze felt nice and it was so serene. There was something so lovely about their surroundings and being able to enjoy it with someone they adored.

Eventually they made their way back to the beach house, entering from the screen door that led to their bedroom. They both went to freshen up and got ready for bed. Quinn had changed into a big t-shirt and small boy shorts and was sitting on the one side of bed checking her phone. Santana leaned down to peck her lips and placed her hands on either side of Quinn's legs as they looked at each other.

"We have a problem. Well I have a problem," Santana said.

"What is it?"

"I usually sleep naked. Are you okay with that?"

"You… what…" Quinn stammered and Santana smirked. Quinn shook her head and slapped Santana's arm.

"You're so cute," Santana chuckled. "For real, can I borrow some pajamas?"

Quinn rolled her eyes playfully. "I only brought one set for myself. I don't have any others."

Santana shrugged and made a move to take her crop top off.

"Santana!" Quinn squealed, covering her eyes. She was caught off guard by the sudden stripping.

Santana bursted out laughing and Quinn peered through to see she didn't actually take anything off.

"I'm just kidding. I'll take something from the guys."

Quinn's cheeks flushed as she watched Santana exit the room. She took a couple deep breaths to calm her quickened heartbeat. Santana with clothes on was already a sight for sore eyes, She definitely wanted to see her out of them. She was just not expecting it to be at that moment. Quinn knew one thing for sure; she was not going to let her do all the teasing this weekend.

By the time Santana got back, she was wearing one of Puck's wife beaters and athletic shorts and Quinn was already under the covers. She climbed to the other side of the bed and Quinn shifted to face her.

"Are you okay with me sleeping here?"

She nodded and Santana got under the covers as well. She laid on her side too so they could look at each other. Hazel eyes bore into brown ones as the latter gazed over her with warm affection. They smiled softly at each other and that was enough to trigger butterflies in both their stomachs.

"I like you."

"I like you too," Quinn whispered. She leaned in slowly with a small smirk. Just when their lips were about to meet, she dipped her head down and started leaving lingering kisses on Santana's neck.

Santana froze as goosebumps rose up on her body. Quinn giggled and nipped down gently, sucking on the soft skin. After a moment, Santana let down a soft moan and her eyes fluttered closed. They both knew exactly what Quinn was doing.

Two could play this game.

She slowly trailed her hand along Quinn's spine, dancing along the hem of her shirt before reaching down further. Quinn's breath hitched, but didn't stop her. Santana pulled back to look at her with hooded eyes just as she got to her barely there shorts.

Santana licked her lips and hazel eyes flicked down briefly. She nudged their noses together and smirked as she squeezed Quinn's ass gently.

Quinn bit her lip not wanting to moan and give her the upper hand. Her own hand came between them and palmed Santana's toned abs over the thin material.

"Are you having fun?" Quinn murmured.

Santana pulled her closer and crashed their lips together.
