Callen saw her slip and quickly stood up. He grabbed her arms and steadied her.

"Wow, wow. It's okay, I got you." Zoë grabbed Callen's arms to steady yourself. "You okay?" Callen asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm good. Thank you," Zoë replied as she regained her footing.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Thanks for catching me."

"No problem, I'm just glad you didn't fall. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have that stuff just lying around."

"It's okay, I'm fine. I just need to watch where I step when I'm in here."

"I'll make sure that I don't have anything just lying around everywhere. You sure you're okay? The baby too?"

"Yes, we're both fine honey," Zoë reassured him.

"Okay good. Thank you for brining me the sandwich."

"You're welcome."

Callen gave Zoë a kiss before Zoë went back down.

When dinnertime came around Callen had managed to put the crib, dresser and rocking chair together. Callen grabbed a quick shower and changed his clothes before he joined Zoë at the table. After dinner Zoë went upstairs with Callen took look at the nursery so far.

"I've put the crib here with the changing table next to it and then the rocking chair here in the corner and I was thinking about putting the wardrobe here," Callen explained.

Zoë looked around the room. The crib stood against the left wall, with the long side against the wall and the rocking chair was in the corner near the window. The wardrobe would come across from the crib.

"I hope this is alright, if not, I can change it around."

"No, it's perfect. Just like I pictured it. It's gonna be so beautiful."

"Yes it will be. Tomorrow I will put the wardrobe and basinet together and then I will hang up the ceiling lamp, the curtains, the storage shelves and the decorations. Then the nursery is as good as done, just the small stuff then left, like some decorations and put the stuff in the closet."

"That's good. Then at least the nursery will be ready for her to sleep in. But we still have about eighteen weeks to go."

"I know, but I don't want to have to worry about the nursery at the last minute. Now it was pretty calm at work so I had the time for it. Our caseload is unpredictable, it could get very busy all of a sudden. I want to make sure our little girl has a finished nursery for when she's born."

"Thank you. Our little girl is gonna love it here I'm sure of it."

Callen walked up to Zoë and wrapped his arms around her. "It's so crazy. I've only known that you're pregnant for like four weeks but it already seems so long ago. I know we still have a while to go but I can't wait to meet our little girl and see her lying here in her crib."

"Yeah I know, I can't wait for that either. And yeah it seems so long ago already that I found out that I was pregnant. I wish she was here already."

"Me too. But just a few more months. But they'll be over before we know it."

Callen gave Zoë a soft kiss before they went downstairs and enjoyed a quite evening in front of the TV.

The next day Callen finished the nursery. Everything that needed to be hanged or put together was now finished. Just the inventory they still had to get but there was enough time for it. Zoë looked around the finished nursery.

"It looks beautiful. Everything fits together quite well," Zoë stated.

"Yeah it does. I'm sure our little girl will be happy here."

"Yes she will be." Zoë pulled Callen to her and gave him a kiss. "Thank you for putting this together."

"You're welcome. It was my pleasure."

"I can't wait until our little girl is here."

"I know, me neither. Although it's gonna be a bit getting used to in the beginning I think."

"Yeah it probably will be, but we can handle it, we can handle it together. You're gonna be a great dad, I just know it."

"I hope so. But I know one thing, no matter what, I will love our little girl so much."

"That's a very good start."

Callen pulled Zoë closer and kissed her deeply. He moved his hand down to her stomach and smiled against her lips when he felt the baby move underneath.

"I love you," Zoë told Callen once she released his lips.

"I love you too," Callen replied.

They enjoyed a relaxing Sunday for the rest of the day.

…..

Zoë was now twenty-eight weeks pregnant, so far everything was still going fine with her and the little girl. They both loved to see her on the screen during the appointments. It was so beautiful to see her develop. On the 3D picture they could already see her taking shape. Zoë struggled a bit with her stomach getting bigger and bigger. In Callen's eyes she was getting more beautiful every week with her growing baby bump.

They had a long weekend off since it was thanksgiving. Zoë and Callen were going to Ben's house to celebrate thanksgiving. Fay was coming over as well. Zoë was bringing the dessert. Her mom had send over some desserts from Holland so she was gonna make one of them. Just after 5pm they were getting ready to leave. Callen looked as Zoë came downstairs. She was wearing a knee length, long sleeved dark blue dress. The top was just dark blue and the bottom was dark blue with white rudders and anchors on it. Above the stomach was a dark blue sash. Callen was mesmerized as he saw her, she looked so beautiful. The baby bump showed perfectly in this dress. Zoë caught him starring at her.

"You ready honey?" Zoë asked with a smile.

"Huh? Yeah I'm ready to go."

They put them jackets on and got in the car before Callen drove them to Ben's house. Once there they got out and walked up to the door. Zoë rang the bell and a little later Ben opened the door.

"Hey you two, come on in," Ben greeted them.

"Hey Ben," Callen greeted him as he walked inside.

"Hey dad, thanks for having us," Zoë replied as she gave her father a hug.

"You're welcome. Wow look at you, you look beautiful."

"Thank you dad."

"Everything still going already with my little granddaughter?"

"Yes, she's growing nice and big. We're both very healthy."

"Glad to hear."

Zoë walked into the house as well and the family just chatted in the living room for a while before going to the dining room. The table was festively made up and several vegetables and potato dishes already stood on the table.

"Alright everyone, the turkey is done," Ben stated as he walked into the room with a plate with the turkey on it.

"Looks good dad," Fay stated.

Ben started cutting the turkey and handed everyone a piece. The bowls with food were passed around the table so everyone could scoop up what they wanted. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Once they were done Zoë went into the kitchen to get the dessert. She had made 'griesmeelpudding'. She put two bowls on the table and everyone got some.

"Mmm, it's been a while since I had this," Ben stated. "But it tastes good."

"Mmm yeah, just like mom made it," Fay added.

"Yeah, it's nice that she still sends some Dutch foods over every now and then. I do miss some of the dishes."

"Yeay me too."

After dinner the family went back to the sitting area and played a game of Pictionary. Callen and Zoë were a team and Ben and Fay were a team. Callen was up first. Callen was trying to draw it but Zoë couldn't get it. She was trying her best to figure it out but she couldn't get it before the time was up.

"It was a squirrel," Callen said.

Zoë looked at the picture. "How is that a squirrel? It doesn't look like a squirrel, it looks like….. I don't know what it looks like, but not a squirrel."

"You try next then."

They played a few rounds before the final round. They were both tied at the same amount of seconds. For the final round they were both gonna draw the same thing at the same time and whoever got it first would win. Zoë and Fay were gonna draw with Callen and Ben guessing. Zoë picked the card and showed it to Fay.

"Alright, ready sis?" Fay asked.

"Ready."

"And go."

Both Zoë and Fay started drawing and Callen and Ben immediately started guessing.

"Watermelon!" Callen suddenly yelled.

"Yes!" Zoë replied and victoriously threw her arms up in the air.

Zoë walked over to Callen and gave him a high-five.

"It would be weird it if wouldn't get this considering I have seen a lot of watermelon lately."

"Yeah, I can easily eat half a watermelon a day lately."

Around 11pm Callen noticed Zoë was getting tired so he suggested they'd go home. Callen drove them back home. They went straight upstairs when they got home. Callen helped Zoë undo the zipper of her dress. As he did so he couldn't stop but kiss her neck. Zoë was tired but feeling Callen kiss her neck had her wanting him desperately.

"You look so beautiful in this dress," Callen whispered in her ear.

"Thank you, but I wanna take it off."

"I can help with that."

Callen kissed her neck again as he pushed the dress off her shoulder and Zoë helped him to get her arms out of the sleeves. Callen pushed the dress further down and it pooled around her feet on the floor. Zoë kicked her shoes off and pushed the dress aside. She felt Callen's hands on her back undoing the clasp of her bra. Her bra soon joined her dress on the floor. Zoë leaned back against him as his hands moved up from her stomach and started teasing and massaging her breasts. He kept his left hand on her breast as the other went down in between her legs after pushing her panties down.

"Oh G," Zoë moaned.

It didn't take her long to reach her peak. Zoë went down and pleasured Callen as well. After a while Callen couldn't take it anymore and he pulled Zoë up. He turned Zoë around and positioned her against the edge of the bed. He placed a pillow underneath her so her stomach could rest on it before he entered her from behind. Zoë had already come twice when Callen picked her up and positioned her against her wall. Zoë put her hands against the wall to steady herself as Callen held her hips. Damn this man knew exactly how to pleasure her. It didn't matter what he did, it always made her feel so good. Zoë had come twice more when Callen pulled out of her. They shared a quick but heated kiss before Zoë pushed him onto the bed and climbed on top of him. Zoë felt another peak quickly approaching and Callen wasn't far behind. He held her hips as he propelled up into her.

"Oh G! Yes!" Zoë screamed as she reached the biggest peak of the night.

"God yes Zoë!" Callen followed a little later.

Zoë rolled off of Callen and they both stared up at the ceiling, breathing hard.

"Wow," was all Callen could say.

"Yeah wow." Zoë rolled over to Callen as Callen rolled over to her and she kissed him. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Callen replied with a smile. "I'm so thankful to have you in my life and I'm so thankful that we're gonna have this beautiful little girl together. I love you."

"I love you too G. And I'm so thankful to have you here with me, I wouldn't want it any other way. We're gonna be a happy family together with our little girl."

Callen gave her one more kiss before they put some pajamas on and went to sleep. Zoë lay snuggled up to her pregnancy pillow, facing away from Callen's side, and Callen lay behind her with his arm around her.

"Goodnight honey," Callen spoke and gave her a soft kiss on her cheek.

"Goodnight honey," Zoë replied, already half asleep.

The next day they went to do some shopping. They went to the Target store in Gardena. They needed some more items for the baby. They bought pink and purple butterfly wall decals, a white picture frame with twelve separate photo holders so they could add one picture for each month of her first year, a baby thermometer, a few bottles and pacifiers and already some diapers and other supplies for the changing table. They also went to buy some clothes already, so they already had a few things for when she would be born. They picked a pack with four bodysuits in it, one was white, one was pink-orange, one was white with pink flowers on it and one was pink with dots on it.

"Oh we have to get this," Zoë stated as she picked out a package with three bodysuits. "They are so cute."

In the pack was a pink bodysuit with in black letters 'daddy's little girl', one black with in gold letters 'I love daddy' and one white with gold little hearts. Callen looked at the bodysuits.

"She will look beautiful in it," Callen replied, feeling the tears well up in his eyes a bit. Yeah she would definitely be daddy's little girl.

They also grabbed a package with five bodysuits with flamingos and pineapples on it, a package with three rompers with flamingos and palm trees, a pack with three rompers with starfish and shells, a white dress with pink flamingos and a pink cardigan, a pair of jeans leggings, a footed white onesie with dreamcatchers on it, a nice warm hooded onesie for outside and a few pairs of socks. They also bought a baby carrier and a few toys and stuffed animals.

Next they went to the women's clothing department to buy some new clothes for Zoë. She picked out an orange dress with white spots, a grey blouse with a sash and a bow on top of the stomach, a red pullover plaid tunic, a few new pants and some new pajamas. Zoë came out of the changing room and Callen immediately went over to her to carry the clothing items she had gathered and he put them in the cart. They also went to the men's department to get some clothes for Callen. He bought two new jeans, a blue and white plaid button down blouse and a few black and blue t-shirts. Before going to the registry they went to get some groceries as well. Callen loaded the bags into the trunk as Zoë sat down on the passenger seat to wait for Callen. Now that she was in her third trimester she couldn't stand on her feet for too long. After returning the cart Callen got behind the wheel and drove them home. Callen was about to pull out of the parking lot when he suddenly saw a car with tinted windows slowly driving up. In a flash he saw the back window opening and a man with an automatic gun appeared.

"Zoë get down!" Callen yelled and he quickly moved over to shield Zoë.
