"I'm ready to go!" Nezuko said lifting the boc on her back as Urokodaki and Hagenezuka wish her good luck.
Tanjiro is getting irritating at the moment. He wants to walk with his sister, but due to sunlight, he can't do that.
He just wish that what his master told him is real. "Go to a certain cave and offer himself to hinokami" that's what he said but in what cave.
Even so he won't lose hope. He know for himself that one .day he can walk in sun. It's just only a matter of time before that happen.
Nezuko is walking happily crossing the wide rice field. Enjoying the open sky and gently breeze. It's been a while since she walk like this. She just wish that his brother can also see this. It's feels good.
Their mission was being held at some kind of town where people keep disappearing every night. It's not just people. It's girls.
Young girls were vanishing every night. Hunt down the demon lurking around and kill it. This is her first mission as a demon slayer. Thier first Mission if she count her brother too.
Timeskip
Nezuko now arrive at the mission site. It's still morning so her brother can't go outisde.
She walk around the town hearing a lot of people gossiping around.
"When night falls, another girl will be abducted again" Random People said.
"Mr kazumi!" Nezuko called the man yhe same age as her brother.
"If you don't mind. Please tell me your story" She said as the man look at her and told her everything he can.
"This is where satoko vanished. You may not believe me, but~" The man said
"I belive you. Alright!" Nezuko exclaimed as she look around carefully The troubled teen couldn't help but recall what had happened just moments before as they scoured the town from top to bottom. He told Satoko's parents about her disappearance at this stage. The father became so enraged that he slapped him. Even though the mother screamed, she pleaded with her husband to avoid venting his grief and rage on an innocent person.n —
"She's my only daughter!" The father then fell to the ground, sobbing and hiccuping, "I trusted you. I trusted you to protect our daughter!"
And Kazumi failed miserably at that.
Please. He clasped the bandage, eyes closed and tears started gathering. Please, Satoko. Wherever you are, I'm praying for your safety. For the sake of our marriage. And for the sake of your parents too.
The evening had finally arrived. A girl with black hair that reached her shoulder changed her regular kimono to yukata for sleeping on the same day, in the same town, within a big mansion a short distance away from Nezuko and Kazumi were currently inspecting for hints. While tanjiro is standing above the roof of the houses. Using his keen sense of smell.
Soon, the girl fell asleep. She didn't notice that a black hole is slowly generating below her. As a minute pass by. A demon hand appeared from the hole and grab her.
Help. She begged, pained whimpered surfaced from her tightening throat. Anybody "PLEASE, HELP ME!"
"It's here!" Nezuko shouted as she ran where she sense the demon. Kazumi followed him while tanjiro stay behind.
"This is bad" He thought sensing some tremendous aura watching them.
"Hey, what's wrong!" Kazumi shouted as he chased her. "She's fast"
"The scent, I can smell it! It's a demon. Kazumi Be careful. It's a demon!" Nezuko yelled as she jump on roof and Continue to ran as fast as she could.
"Is she...she spoke of a demon. Is she a demon slayer? So they are real" kazumi thought.
"Nezuko, i know you can take care of this mission. I need to do something else. " Tanjiro thought as he completely vanish without any traces. He need to hide. He guess that the demon who is watching them is only interested on him.
But in vase everything turned upside down. He send Nezuko's crow to Urokodaki to call some demon slayers with high battle capabilities.
He need to hide first since he know that the demon is only interested on him. He can't attack too. His not that idiot. His master thought him how to retreat if he sense something was wrong.
A second pass and everything about tanjiro just vanish. Like it was not there in the first place.
With Nezuko
"This is the place, they are here right now" she thought as she grab her sword from the sheeth.
"Two different scent, a demon and a human" She thought as she saw a crow flying away from the town. "Wait, is that my crow?"
"I can't see them, but the spot where the scent is stronger is right here!" She thought as she pierced the ground with her katana as a black fog and a human girl appeared.
"A girl, Is it her?" She thought as she grab the girl before getting slash by the demons claw.
"A morphed demon" Nezuko thought.
"Who is that?" Kazumi asked as he just arrived at the area.
"It's a demon. Kazumi please hold this girl and stand nearby where i can see you" Nezuko said as he hand to girl to him.
"If your inside my range of attack, i can protect you" Nezuko said.
"From the ground, the walls. It can probably merge everywhere, there is also a chance that it can appear in the air she thought.
"But this demon, even if he hide. It can't erase his scent" she added as she dash toward the scent.
"Water Breathing! 5th form" she thought as three demons appeared from all her sides making her jump and unleashing another form.
"8th form! Water fall basin!" As she cut vertically with a flowing mission. Good thing she is above them that make the technique more effective.
Flashback
"Nezuko, listen to me closely. The demon that makes a human turn to demon is only one. There is only one demon who can do that" Urokodaki said.
"One demon" Nezuko thought.
"Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon" Urokodaki finished.
Flashback end
"Total concentration! Water wheel!" As she spin forward releasing a vertical spin cutting the demon arms who Is trying to attack kazumi.
"I didn't get him!" She thought as she keep sending blow on the demon but the demon keep dodging it as the demon go far away.
"I can't chase him that far. I can't protect while attacking" she thought.
"Damn it! The girl gonna go stale for me! That girl already 16, okay! If I don't devour her soon. She's gonna loose flavor soon!" Th demon said.
"Calm down my other half. I already eat a lot of 16 year old women. They were all quite meaty and delicious. I'm satisfied" The other demon said.
"I'm not yet satisfied! I wanna consume more " The other demon argued
"You monster! Return satoko to me! The girl you abducted last night" kazumi shouted.
"If her hairpin is among these collectibles, then I've devoured her." He said, seeming to take some sadistic glee in watching the tears fall from the man's eyes; he clearly recognized one of the hairpins there if the despair in his expression was any indication.
Without more words, the three demons disappeared once again.
'This demon…' Nezuko thought, the faces of his family coming to mind after what he just heard. 'Unforgivable!'
The three-horned demon chose to strike at that precise moment, thrusting his sharpened nails as quickly as the wind. She swerved, her hand stuck in the wall, quickly cracking it like butter. She swung her arm, missed again, and the two-horns emerged from behind the wall.
"Total concentration, Breath of Water—" Nezuko ducked and rolled when an arm emerged from nowhere near her head, canceling her next move. The two-horn took advantage of the chance to strike once more. He was getting too close. She won't make it because the attack is too close for her to mitigate.
He can escape underground so fast!'
Another puddle formed on the wall.
'Oh no! I got too close to the wall!'
He managed to spin in mid-air, the demon's hand barely missing his face, and land in a crouch; quickly dodging the follow-up from underneath the ground, only for one of the bodies to spawn behind him with his arm ready to strike.
The arm was swiftly cut off by tanjiro who completely appear behind her. forcing the demon to dive back down.
"Thanks!" Nezuko's said, dodging another strike and slashing at the demon, cutting its shoulder.
"I guess this is no time to hide" Tanjiro thought.
"Ni-chan, I'm going under water" Nezuko said as tanjiro nodded.
"Don't worry about kazumi, I'll take care of them. Rescue the girl. It's still alive" tanjiro said making Nezuko shocked.
"Alive, but i thought"
"Just do it" Tanjiro said as Nezuko nodded and finally jump inside.
With Urokodaki
"What is this?" He thought while looking at the paper that was attached on feet of the crow.
"Mister Urokodaki. There is something wrong with this mission. I cansense some strong aura in here. It's a demon, but a high level one. Please ask the demon slayer headquarters for reinforcement since I'm not sure if i can fight this one. Please, Urokodaki hurry!" The letter says making Urokodaki jump in shock.
Sakonji Urokodaki get a pen and a paper and wrote the request for reinforcement and give to the crow sending it to the demon slayer headquarters.
He then grab his sword and head to the town where tanjiro and Nezuko is. He won't allow that one of his student will die again.
He ran at his fastest speed.
With Tanjiro
"Your a demon" kazumi said looking terrified.
"Yes, i am. Don't worry I won't eat you" Tanjiro said giving the both a headpat.
With Nezuko
Nezuko gazed around the darkening marsh, admiring the lovely kimonos, sandals, and bags that were dancing around in a hideous festival of revelry. This is unmistakably the property of one of their previous victims. They had consumed much too much food—
"Getting hard to breathe, brat?" the demon Ask with a chuckle
"There's hardly any air inside this swamp. On top of that, the darkness around your body must feel pretty heavy." He let out a laugh, clearly thinking that he and the body with three horns will be able to kill him quickly.
"You can't move the way you would aboveground! Serves you right! You should've looked before you leaped in, you damn fool!"
'Don't underestimate me!' The Kamado thought, following their movements even with the poor visibility. It's true that it was harder to breathe than aboveground but considering the place where got his training, this was no issue
The two demons circled her once more, before lunging at the swordsman from opposite directions.
Nezuko prepared his sword, moving it to his right and the blade behind his head, ready to slash.
There are moves that can only be unleashed it's full potential underwater. All i needed to do is slash when they are near to attack.
The form that can be utilize even with no form of footing. Generating a powerful vortex with a violent twist of my upper and lower body!
"Here comes the scent! The opening thread!" Nezuko thought.
"Water Breathing! whirlpool!"She unfurled from her twisted body, spinning the weapon along, causing blue water to rush high from the blade, creating a massive vortex so bright in this dank, abyssal swamp. It was sharp and caustic, crushing anything in its path and slicing open everything in its path, including the demons' necks, which she had been aiming for since the beginning. Blood gushed from their exposed necks, completely killing the clones.
"All done, now i need to find the girl" Nezuko thought as she saw a portal above her. She swim toward it. And there she saw a lot of bones everywhere and a girl at the middle of it.
"Are you ok?" Nezuko shouted. She can breath now since she is not in the swamp anymore. "Is it some kind of dimensions?" She thought looking aroun. But she doesn't care. The important is she rescued the girl Satoko.
Nezuko then carry the girl bridal style and leapt on the swamp again. Seeing the black hole completely closing. She use breath style to increase her strength to swim faster.
With tanjiro
"They are here" tanjito said getting the attention of Kazumi who is eager to know if the girl is still alive or not.
Nezuko then leapt outside the hole. Carrying a girl with shattered clothing. It was satoko.
"Ni-chan, i did it" Nezuko said.
"Satoko!" Kazumi gently put the other girl down and ran to satoko. The girl is breathing heavily, but she's fine.
"I'm alive kazumi" Satoko said as they both hug each other.
"What the hell is human and Demon doing together!" The last remaining demon shouted getting their attention.
Tanjito look at him, but suddenly the air become heavy. He desperately look around the area, but saw nothing. He knows what's this means.
"Nezuko!" Tanjiro shouted as he unshetted his sword and run toward her sister. He can sense a blade is reaching her, but he can't see anything.
He swing the sword upward blocking the incoming blade. It's not a blade though, its more like a force.
Tanjiro did his best to block it, but it's too strong as his arm got completely cut off due to heavy impact that was delivered on him.
"Ni-chan!" Nezuko shouted as she make a stance preparing for battle.
"Nezuko, get them and run away. I will take care of it" Tanjiro said..
A laugh is being hear all over the area. "What is this, a demon and a human together?" The man said.
"Who are you?" Tanjiro asked.
"I'm the one who need to ask about that. Who are you, and what are you doing with a human" the man said.
"Nezuko, satoko, Kazumi, Run!" Tanjito yelled as nezuko carry the other girl and Kazumi carry satoko. As they all run away.
"Ni-chan! I'll comeback!"
"Don't comeback! Tell the villagers to get away from this town! Now!" Tanjiro shouted. This is the first time he felt too scared.
"Ah! You are..." The remaining swamp demon is trying to say but the other demon kill him.
"What? Did you just kill your own kind?" Tanjiro asked.
"Yes, his weak so he doesn't deserve to live. Don't worry i will do the same on you" the demon said.
"Who are you? I didn't even sense you. And whats that attack?" Tanjiro asked.
"My name is uchitaki kenji, one of the demon generals. And for the attack...make me" He said
