Roger was walking around all of Gotham City looking around very nervously as gun shots were heard.
He gulped.
"Why couldn't it have been some place safer like Smallville?" said Roger.
He heard a gun shot close by and ran into an alleyway.
Roger gulped again.
"It's farm country, nothing dangerous happens in farm country." said Roger.
He did some thinking.
"Minus alien spaceships crashing all the time." said Roger.
A rimshot was heard followed by canned laughter.
Roger laughed.
"I crack myself up." said Roger.
He heard another gunshot and ran out of the alleyway.
"Jesus." said Roger.
Interview Gag
"How do I get myself into these situations? All I've done was scam jobs that didn't require anyone to be murdered, and now I'm in a city where the murder rate is insanely high." said Roger.
End Interview Gag
"What the hell alleyway was that?" said Roger.
He looked up and saw a sign that said 'Crime Alley, the murder spot of Thomas and Martha Wayne'.
Roger shook his head.
"Figures." said Roger.
He continued walking around Gotham City.
He then saw the Bat-Signal.
He sighed.
"Well, at least there's a Batman here." said Roger.
He continued to walk around the city.
He whistled.
"You know, if Gotham didn't have the biggest crime rate in all of America, it would be the perfect place to live in." said Roger.
But then a gun shot was heard and a bullet pierced through his backpack.
The meerkat shrieked in shock.
"Jesus that was close." said Roger, "A little to close for comfort."
But then his eyes glowed purple and he became shocked.
In Roger's eyes; he saw a vision of a bullet flying towards his head from the side before hitting him, making the meerkat drop dead.
The purple glow disappeared from Roger's head as the same bullet from his vision flew towards him.
Luckily the meerkat moved out of the way from the bullet before it flew by just one inch from his nose.
More gunshots were heard and Roger managed to avoid each of the bullets with precision before opening his mouth as one bullet went into his mouth before closing it.
He opened it up, revealing he caught it with his teeth.
"David Blain, eat your heart out." said Roger.
He spat the bullet out.
He ran to the source of the bullets.
The bullets came from Two Face holding one of his pistols out.
But then Roger removed the pistol from the former district attorney, making him mad.
"Hey." said Two Face.
Roger then hit Two Face on both sides of his head with the gun.
Interview Gag
"Yeah, I didn't know where to hit that guy on the head." said Roger.
End Interview Gag
"What's the big idea?" said Two Face.
Roger smacked Two Face across the face, knocking him out.
"Your ugly face." said Roger.
He dropped the pistol and started to walk off.
"Whew, can't believe I was able to see a brief glimpse into the future, seems like that stuff does work." said Roger.
He pulled out the book Strange gave him.
"I should return to the New York Sanctum." said Roger.
Later; he appeared outside the New York Sanctum before knocking on the door.
Then the meerkat magically appeared in Strange's office and he looked around.
"I'll never get used to that no matter how many times it happens." said Roger.
Then Strange appeared and looked at Roger.
"Have you completed your assignment?" said Strange.
Roger placed the book on the table.
"Yes sir Doctor Strange sir." said Roger, "Got it all figured out."
Strange nodded.
"Good, good." said Strange.
He then smiled.
"I'm so proud of you kid." said Strange.
"And I'm still very confused on how you came across a book in the For Dummies series of info books." said Roger.
Strange nodded.
"Even I don't know." said Strange, "And I'm supposed to be the Sorcerer Supreme."
