Silvery Dance to Sudden Darkness
Anya is seen taking a shower after coming back with the unconscious Eco back to the ship though couldn't shake the feeling bad for having to take her by force.
"(I had to carry out Milgauss's orders, if it wasn't for him my people might be lost.)" Anya thought believed yet has this doubt within her heart.
(Conference Party)
Laphicet and Veronica are seen together at the dessert table tasting some of the desserts and even feeding each other which makes a very cute scene for some people watching this, they never expected to see the first princess and Iron-Blooded Valkyrie has such a soft side none has ever seen.
"Wow, they're so mummy." Laphicet complimented.
"Yes, the chefs have done marvelous works on these." Veronica nodded.
"I'm sure they would be glad to hear that, Princess Veronica." Frida said as she and Silva walks up to them.
"Hello Frida, I see you're doing your patrol around here." Veronica said.
"Just an opportunity to show Silva here of what party humans throw on special occasions." Frida said as she looks down at Silva.
"Everything here is so grand." Silva commented.
"Yeah, I thought of the same thing." Laphicet agreed offering him a sweet, Silva didn't look but accept the sweet none the less.
"By the way, have you heard anything about Eco, Prim, and Dezel?" Veronica asked.
"The servants are looking through the palace thoroughly but found nothing so far. Cosette and Zavied are going to check outside to the old ruin of the former palace." Frida informed.
"Be sure to keep a close eye out for anything, I can't leave the possibility that something happened under our nose." Veronica ordered.
"Of course, Princess." Frida bowed a little.
"Hey look, those are approaching Silvia and Ash." Laphicet pointed at Milgauss and Klaus walking towards the two students.
"Should we be worried?" Silva asked.
"I don't think so, even they wouldn't dare to do anything during a party such as this though we should still be on guard around them." Frida stated.
"My thoughts exactly." Veronica nodded.
"It looks like Silvia is going to dance with that Milgauss guy." Laphicet said as they see Milgauss and Silvia walking to the dancefloor together.
"I don't like it; Silvia may try to get some info out of him though that may not be the case." Veronica suspected and took Laphicet's hand.
"Huh, what ware you doing?" Laphicet asked.
"We're going dancing too." Veronica answered.
"What? But I don't know how to dance and I'm shorter than you, won't that be weird?" Laphicet asked shock.
"Don't worry, I know you're a fast learner and maybe you can do something that may even things up." Veronica believed as they walk to the dancefloor.
Laphicet and Veronica started dancing together following the beat through his body that the young dragon boy was able to do well despite the staring from the people who seems a little awe, but he still wishes he could do something about the height difference. Then from his instinct, his silver flame came out on its form, and it lifts him up to that of Veronica's height.
"Laphicet, I had no idea you can do that!" Veronica surprised.
"Me neither, I was even thinking about my flames at all." Laphicet said.
"Although, it is nice that we can dance properly now." Laphicet smiled.
"Yes, I believe we can." Veronica smiled back and the two dance gracefully catching the attention of everyone including Milgauss and Silvia, Ash and Klaus too.
"My, my, those two are certainly going to the talk of the week." Angela smiled.
"I guess that one use of your power." Eizen commented.
Everyone kept dancing for a while until the music stops and everyone claps for seeing such wonderful dancing, more surprise with how Laphicet danced with Veronica making them the star of the show.
"Wow, I never knew dancing would be tiring." Laphicet exclaimed.
"That tends to happen to anyone." Veronica said as they walk up to Silvia and Ash.
"Veronica, you and Laphicet were wonderful." Silvia complimented.
"Thank you, now have you learned anything from Milgauss?" Veronica asked.
"No, but I do that definitely danced of the knight country whether he is Julius or not." Silvia said.
"Princess Silvia, Princess Veronica, Master Ash, and Master Laphicet." Cosette called out as she rushes to them with Zavied, Frida and Silva.
"We found Prim and Dezel, and they have some bad news that you ought to hear." Zavied said.
Everyone made their way to the room where Prim and Dezel are recovering from what happened and they explain everything to them.
"What? Eco was taken?" Ash asked shock.
"That's right, we saw three men were dressing up like the waiters from the palace and a girl who appears to be leading them." Dezel nodded.
"This girl appears to have come from the Tantaros tribe." Prim added.
"Then she must be that same girl we met in that library, Avdocha's little sister." Eizen figured out.
"That means she must have been ordered by Milgauss to take Eco right before the party started." Angela believed as well.
"Damn, that bastard." Ash angered he was about to go have a "talk" with Milgauss but was stop by Frida.
"Cool your head, Ash. Now it's not the time to go in blinding rage." Frida stated.
"But…" Ash grunted.
"She's right, we searched the area but couldn't find Eco. That must mean they must have taken her somewhere private while the party is going on." Cosette guessed.
"And there is only one place they can go to." Veronica said.
"Zepharos Empire royal ship, the Beowolf." Silvia figured out.
"Okay, then it's pretty obvious that Ash will go. I was thinking Silvia should come along with Zaived and Cosette as backup, the rest of us will stay here to keep an eye on Milguass and Klaus maybe get them to talk." Laphicet planned.
"My, you certainly thought this out very quickly." Veronica impressed.
"Well, I do have a great partner I learned from." Laphicet smiled as he flew up Veronica kissing her on the cheek making her blush.
"Okay, we better get going now and hopefully rescue Eco before something bad happens." Ash said as Silvia nods.
Ash's group got onto Lancelot flying toward the Beowolf ship to rescue Eco while Veronica's group hurry back to the party hoping to question Milguass about it.
Ash's group are flying over the city riding on Lancelot's back hurrying to the large ship dock hoping they would make it on time.
"(Please be alright, Eco.)" Ash thought concerned strongly.
"(Eco, I was very shocked about what you did to me and Ash earlier, but I think I'm starting to feel what you wanted all along. And I want to have that with you too.)" Silvia thought hoped.
"Hey, do I see smoke over there." Zavied pointed at the smoke rising from the dock.
"You're right, it looks like it's coming from the ship dock." Cosette said.
"It must be the Beowolf ship, something is happening right now and it's not good from the sight of the smoke." Silvia guessed.
"Then we better hurry." Ash said.
Silvia agrees and have Lancelot fly faster toward the ship, but then suddenly a large explosion which created a shockwave that can be felt where Ash's group with the wind almost making Lancelot lose his balance in the air.
"Okay, that does not look good." Zavied commented.
"And neither is that!" Cosette point at what's up ahead.
The group became shocked upon seeing some kind of giant golden egg with strange symbols floating around it, then Ash started to scream in pain from his left arm as the sleeve is burned away unexpectedly from the star mark.
"Ash, are you okay?" Silvia asked worry.
"Zavied, are you okay?" Cosette asked as her dragon lover is flinching in pain from the head.
"Yeah, just this annoying headache telling me to go to that weird egg thing, and the strangest thing is that it sounds like Eco." Zavied mentioned.
"What? Are you saying that Eco is inside that thing?" Silvia asked shock.
"He's right, I can sense her. Try get me close to that egg and maybe I can try getting Eco out of there." Ash said, not sure how he can do it, but he's going to give it a try.
"Okay, Lancelot, let's go!" Silvia commanded, but Lancelot isn't doing what he was just told.
"Lancelot, what's wrong?" Silvia confused.
"It's the weird egg, it's calling to him, but it doesn't want him to approach it closer." Zavied groaned.
"He's right, the feelings are mixing up all over the place." Ash vouched.
"If that's the case then we have to get off of Lancelot now and let him be for now." Cosette advised.
The four got off Lancelot as he flew away to the giant golden egg and soon, a bunch of dragons came flying close to it.
"Look at all of those dragons." Cosette surprised.
"Aren't those all Mestros?" Ash asked.
"They are. Is it because of that giant egg?" Silvia confused as well.
Speaking of the egg, it started to crack as something is about to come out and that something is big looking mighty fierce and dangerous with a loud roar and Ash's star mark is starting to feel like its burning from the sun or something.
"There's no doubt about it. That dragon is Eco." Ash looked up at the dragon now identify as Eco shock to the others.
(With Veronica's Group)
"Laphicet, please be okay." Veronica asked worry as she, Angela, Frida, Prim are comforting their dragon partners/lovers as they are groaning in pain from their heads as well.
"There's something trying to call out to me." Laphicet tried to fight off the call.
"Like there's a powerful force that has just awoken." Eizen groaned.
"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Silva begged as Frida comforts him.
"This force, it almost sounds like Eco." Dezel said.
"Eco, but how is that possible?" Prim surprised.
"Princess Veronica!" Glenn called out running up to them.
"Bad news, for some reason the Mestro Dragons are rejecting their partners and have all flied off to a giant dragon that just appeared from the ship dock." Glenn alerted.
"What?" Veronica gasped.
"It is utterly disgraceful; I don't know how this could have happen." Glenn said.
"We have a few ideas of what's happening, but right now I think we should focus on what we can protect here." Laphicet stated as he stands up.
"Are you going to be okay?" Veronica asked.
"Yeah, the weird headache is gone now, but we have to hurry and evacuate the people." Laphicet said.
"Right, we better head back to the ballroom right now." Veronica nodded and removed her dress into her combat uniform.
The group and Glenn have made their way back to the ballroom where the guests are watching in horror the giant dragon Glenn mentioned is out there and standing on top of one of those ships as it roars fiercely.
"Oh boy, is that supposed to be Eco?" Silva shocked.
"If so, then she must have really gained a growth spurt." Eizen commented.
"Oh dearest me, what kind of horror of madness is this? Klaus acted scared.
"That thing is a Night country dragon and its tearing my nation's airships to pieces. Zepharos Empire!" Klaus played the role of the victim.
"It looks like that guy is trying to cast the blame on your father, probably make him look bad for distrust or whatever he has in mind." Dezel figured out.
"Please, just wait a moment. I swear our country has nothing to do with that monster." Ozwald pleaded.
"Please, King Ozwald, the Night Country is well renowned for its dragons. It is very seemly to lie to my face like that." Klaus said.
"He's not lying, that dragon came out of nowhere." Laphicet spoke up for the king as he and Veronica walked up to them along with the others.
"Look, I know you're upset. But right now, your safety must come first which means everyone must leave at once for we will handle that dragon." Veronica stated.
Everyone nods and soon they all left the ballroom in a hurry as they don't want to get kill by the monster of an unnatural dragon, including Klaus as he decided to make his exit and knew those humanoid dragons aren't going to stop him now because of that giant dragon here.
"Father, you should get to shelter too." Veronica said, then suddenly got hug from Ozwald.
"Promise me you and Silvia will be alright after this, you two and your sisters are the most precious things I ever got from your mother, I don't want to lose you too." Ozwald sobbed a little.
"Don't worry, father, we'll be back in one piece. Now go." Veronica gently pushed her father away.
Ozwald smile with a nod before following one of his personal soldiers to take to shelter with the others, and they see the giant Eco dragon is marching onto the city.
"We should go too." Glenn said.
"Not just yet, we still have a guest here." Veronica glared at Milguass who has remained here and unfazed from the sight of the giant dragon.
"Milguass, you're responsibly for what happened to Eco to make her look like that, are you?" Laphicet asked angry.
"I'm surprise you're still here; the call should have made you come to here, yet you were able to resist. Perhaps being born with human forms have given some resistance of willpower for that." Milguass impressed with an evil smirk.
"Enough with the fake compliments, take off that mask! I demand to see that face of the one resembles my older brother." Veronica demanded.
"Very well, you have all earn that much for entertaining me." Milguass chuckled and took off his mask throwing it to the floor.
Angela's eyes widen of shock seeing that face is no doubt the man she once loved and believed to have been executed all those years ago, even Prim and Frida are shocked to see the face of the first-born royalty standing right before them, Julius Lautreamont.
"I can't believe it… It's really him." Frida said, not sure what to make of this.
"You're alive…" Glenn shocked as well.
"Not quite." Milguass said.
"Guys, something is wrong. I can sense something very dark from there, something that shouldn't be in the body we're staring at right now." Laphicet said.
"What do you mean?" Veronica confused.
"I can sense it too, a soul of dragon." Eizen clutched his fists.
"That is correct, and I am not just any dragon. I am in fact, Mordred." Mordred revealed his name.
"Mordred." Veronica remembered that name to Julius's Pal.
"Julius's dragon partner, but you feel so dark and evil than what Veronica told me." Laphicet said.
"Well, to be more precise the other mind that was within Mordred. I am the true heir of the dark kingdom of the Nehalennia that has fought for many years with the sacred empire of Avalon though now we are mortal enemies, our two bloodlines can be trace back to the wise dragon as recorded of the old texts." Mordred explained about himself.
"Well now, it all makes senses of why Prince Julius performed the taboo of killing his own Pal because he discovered your presence and stop whatever plan you were cooking up." Eizen figured out from what he heard about how Julius was executed back then.
"That is correct, but his plan for my demise failed and took possession of Julius instead." Mordred said.
"Let me ask you this, have you ever wondered why dragons and humans enter into bonds the way they are now?" Mordred asked.
"Everyone knows is to receive the astral flow when both partners become very bonded of each other." Angela answered, then her eyes widen of realization.
"Ah, so you figured out my intention for humanity, Angela. Then I will tell them for you, that I plan to make the dragons become rulers of the world and use humans as nothing but mere livestock." Mordred revealed his plan.
"It all makes sense why the prince would do that." Frida glared.
"I knew it! Julius didn't go mad; he was trying to stop your evil plan. You were the cause of all this misery!" Glenn angered as he was about to charge, but Eizen stop him.
"Well said, now allow me to show him your anger." Eizen slammed his fist onto the floor causing rocky spikes to pop out toward Mordred.
But Mordred simply smirks and threw a punch that smashed through three of those spikes, shocking Eizen.
"We have to stop him! He's going to possess Eco next." Eizen alerted as everyone prepare themselves for a fight.

Now the true identity of the enemy has been revealed to be an evil ancient dragon who wants to rule over humanity, and it looks like turning Eco into a giant dragon was his plan all along played an important role that as Laphicet and Veronica and will try to stop him.
