Dating Henry Bowers was always weird to Mika. Early morning she would hear the loud horn blare of a 1958 Trans-Am. Apparently Henry would make Belch pick her up for school where she would be squished between her 'boyfriend' and Patrick Hocksetter. It wasn't fun, she hated being stuck between the two. Unlike Bowers, Patrick already had an understanding on what to do with the opposite gender. One of his favorite activities was making her as uncomfortable as possible.
They had only been dating a month but it felt like an eternity, though Mika was more than pleased that she was never fully alone with Bowers or Hocksetter for the matter.
Bill hated watching her leave with him every day, Mika would give Bill a brave face and a kiss on the cheek before walking towards the car. "Hurry up!"
"Calm your tit's Bowers." she yelled walking towards the car, tossing her bag towards Hosetter hoping to cause him some sort of discomfort. After she settled in the middle of the car Henry was back in the car and Belch zoomed off. His twists and turns made the ride even more terrible.
Her body was thrown back and forth between the two males, not that they minded. "What book do you have today?" Victor called from the front seat, glancing back towards her. She gave the blonde a smile shifting her bag till she pulled out Misery. "It's really good, it's about this author who gets saved by one of his fans. She's mental, cut off his thumb and broke his ankles when she found out he was getting better."
Vic let out a snicker looking back towards the front. He was one of the easiest to get along with. Belch didn't really talk to her, but when he did he actually seemed interested in what she had to say regarding her books.
"Got any good recommendations?" Vic called, making Mika's smile brighter than before. "Didn't know you were turning into a fuckin nerd Criss." Henry Bowers scoffed, reaching over bringing his girlfriend to his chest, tangling his fingers in her hair. He smirked at the little 'oof' sound she made. The only problem with this new position was it gave Hocksetter a nice view of her ass.
"It doesn't hurt every now and then." Vic shrugged knowing his statement fell on deaf ears. Sharp nails dug into her skull forcing her to look at Bowers, he wanted attention. He at first liked that she got along with his friends but now all her attention was always on Criss, they were always talking, sitting close together, laughing at something. It drove him mad, she was his girlfriend for fucks sake.
He felt like he needed to remind her who she belonged to. It wasn't too long till they arrived at their school. Practically immediately all eyes were on the five of them. Bowers had his arm wrapped around Mika's waist watching her fix her hair. Her fingers combed through the tangled mess of hair.
Random ideas shot through his head at what he could do to her, what they could do together. He felt his need, his excitement take over him. There was no way he'd be able to pay attention in school (Not like he would anyway) "Forget this, see you after school." Bowers called to his friends pulling Mika away from the building. "Wait! Hey I have a test today" she frowned looking back towards the crowded building, surprisingly enough the only place she felt safe.
"You're ditching." was his only response, Victor Criss and Belch (Reginald) gave Mika a pitiful look while Patrick just grinned maniacally. Having already an idea of what was going to happen between the two of them.
Bowers dragged Mika away from school, down a few dirt roads till they were far enough away from civilization. Down by the barrens. Mika frowned feeling his grip tighten, he marched faster down the rocky path away from the sewers, further and further away from civilization.
He stopped at a grassy area, there were many trees surrounding the background, in front of them was a nice view of the creek? Lake? It was some sort of body of water. It would be a nice little romantic spot if she wasn't with Henry Fucking Bowers.
The grip on her wrist was released making her relieved only slightly, it was starting to hurt. Sitting down in the grass Mika looked around watching the animals interact with nature. It was pretty peaceful. Rubbing the sore spot on her wrist, she instantly felt the warm body sit beside her, one arm stretched out right behind her back.
"Nice place right?"
Glancing over towards her companion Mika noticed he wasn't looking at her. He was looking at the water, studying the small waves lapping at the shore. "Yeah, pretty peaceful." she caught the small smirk forming across his face. "Come closer."
She shifted her body half an inch closer towards the male not trusting his good mood. What was he planning? Nothing good. At his annoyed stare Bowers grew fed up with her hesitancy and moved her to where he wanted, unfortunately for her it was his lap.
Her legs straddling his waist, their bodies only a few inches away from one another giving him more than enough room to watch her face engulf in embarrassment. His grip on her hips tightened as his eyes traveled up and down her body. "Better."
Her warm hands gripped onto his broad shoulders afraid. "Well come on, we aren't here to play twenty questions." he grumbled, his hands easily gliding under her shirt and up her back. Sure Henry Bowers had his nice moments but that didn't mean she enjoyed his touch.
"Why did you drag me here?" She had a feeling but she wanted to know her fate before it happened. You know, like some sick fuck. "Are you stupid?"
"Kinda." she smiled at her own small joke to herself. Henry grumbled gripping her hips "Use your brain Denbrough." His grip was starting to hurt. She knew there would be bruises there later if he didn't ease up.
"Or you could just tell me, after all the foundation of a good relationship is communication!" The look on his face clearly showed he was annoyed. "You really are an idiot." he studied her face, she was nervous, he would have to be a complete idiot if he didn't think she was. Her eyes were locked on a random patch of grass, her hands fumbled with one another at her stomach, her body was visibly shaking.
It was almost hilarious to see her like this, her usual confident attitude was shrivelled up to nothing. She looked weak and pathetic. "You scared or somethin?" her head snapped in his direction, a glare in her eyes. His smirk grew, there she was back, well sort of. "No. Why would I be scared?"
Leaning forward Henry didn't waste any time capturing her lips in a heated kiss, she felt no spark as she kissed him. There was no passion, it was bland. She held his face trying to get something from nothing as his hands started to explore. Sure he must have felt something, she could feel him growing excited as she tried to enjoy herself.
He had become a better kisser but it didn't feel real. A twig snapped somewhere in the background, something normal in the woods but Mika knew not to trust it. Shifting her head she tried to pay attention to her surroundings making sure they truly were alone.
A small yelp escaped her lips feeling her back being roughly thrown into the ground. She wasn't able to catch her breath, Bowers had taken it upon himself to change their positions. Feeling his mouth attack her neck she prayed, begging to whatever god that was out there he wouldn't leave a hickey on her neck. A warm sensation started to build within her stomach.
He was grinding against her, groaning in pleasure. Now he was starting to be distracting. His rough hands sliding up her stomach, the calluses on his fingers scratching at her skin. Almost lost in wherever pleasure he was actually giving her she heard another twig snap. Closer this time.
Eyes snapping wide open Mika pushed him away, sitting up to stare behind her. Her hands placed over his own to stop his movements she studied the forest unsure of what was going on. "What now?" Henry grumbled glaring down at her, the bulge in his pants prominent.
"What?" He grumbled annoyed at having been stopped, he didn't want to stop so why did she? Was there someone there? There better not be.
"I heard something…" His annoyed look changed to rage, someone was there watching him and his girl?!
"So?" He tried to play it off as if nothing was wrong but if he did find out someone was watching them he'd kill them.
Her head snapped towards Henry "You're crazy. Have you never seen a scary movie? Two teens making out in the middle of the forest and next thing you know they're dead."
"You're hearing things."
"You're telling me you've never seen a scary movie where this happens?" Henry scoffed looking up to the sky. "I don't like watching movies,"
Another twig snapped, forcing both of them to look in the direction "Nope, nope, I'm out of here." Scrambling to her feet Mika started walking down stream, she didn't know where she would end up she just knew it would be somewhere close to town.
"Where the hell are you going," Bowers called walking behind her, his hand reaching out clasping around her wrist tugging her back to face him. "We're out here for a reason, idiot."
"Henry!" She screamed trying to yank her wrist free. "Are you really this dumb?! There's a killer on the loose and I don't plan on dying anytime soon! So you can stay here and please yourself but I'm not gonna risk it." She huffed stomping forward with a faster pace than before.
Everywhere she looked she caught sight of the crazed clown giggling to himself. She was right, that clown was there watching them. Shivers ran down her spine thinking of what he was going to do if he caught them in the act.
Blood dribbled down his chin, he looked like he had just feasted on yet another child. Bile rose up to her throat. She felt so sick. Blood never bothered her before but knowing he killed again made her feel disgusted.
The fear that her friends could be hurt, her brother could be dead.
Bowers was right behind her, hands in his pockets annoyed. He wasn't used to this, usually girls would just listen and do as he said, but her? She had to be difficult. She had to have a backbone, she didn't care if he hurt her or not, she'd fight him.
It was honestly refreshing, a nice change of pace. Not only that but she knew his problems at home and she didn't treat him any different.
So of course it bothered him when Mika spent her time being so close to Criss instead of him. Henry wanted all her attention to be on him and him alone. It bothered him that whatever relationship he had with her, Mika would much rather be with Criss than him. It didn't make sense.
Mika glanced back at Henry to make sure he was still behind her. She might not like the guy but she doesn't want him to get killed by the clown. "Hey,"
Henry grunted, showing he was listening. Her steps slowed down so that the two were walking side by side. "Have you noticed anything weird going on?"
The boy beside her let out an annoyed scoff. "I'm being serious." Maybe if she told him what was going on he'd keep an eye open and be able to keep himself safe. "Weird how? The only weird shit I've noticed is you trying to fuck my friend."
Mika could only let out a groan of annoyance. "Just because Vic and I can actually have a conversation doesn't mean I'm trying to get in his pants." Henry only scoffed. "Believe what you want. I'm just trying to figure out if you've seen it too."
"Seen what?"
It was as if someone was holding her tongue, halting her for whenever she wanted to talk about the clown. To talk about everything she knew! "Something weird is going on in this town. The grownups don't see it but something weird is happening here."
Rolling his eyes Henry shook his head. There was no way that Henry would believe her anyway. He was just as bad as the adults. "Whatever."
Finally back to civilization Mika felt a little relief though she knew it would be short lived. "Let's get some food," he grumbled taking her hand in his and dragging her off to a diner.
Funny enough this would be their first official date as a couple without his friends present. The couple adults who were there glanced their way but didn't bother to question it. They went back to their meals.
It wasn't often that Mika got to go to the diner, maybe she should take the boys here after school to distract them from the evil clown problems.
"Wait here will ya," he grumbled walking off toward the back. She didn't know or care where he went. She ordered them both some water while she waited. Ripping out one of her notebooks from her bag Mika set to doodling little eyeballs on her paper. Why eyes? She didn't know it's the best she could draw.
Her lines turned zig zag and turned into a cube, a box, random things. Nothing artistic at all. Her page looked like a three year old had taken a pen and just went crazy. The seat across from her was soon occupied. She was expecting Bowers since he probably went to take a piss. Looking up Mika jumped slamming her head back into the cushion of the booth.
"Holy Jesus fuck." she yelped, staring at the familiar face of Bill Skarsgard sitting across from her. His large cheshire grin made her feel as if she was sitting on pins and needles. A string of giggles left 'Bills' lips hearing her curse.
"What do you want." she wasn't asking. She might have preferred him in this form over the clown but either form still bothered her. "Isn't it obvious?" rolling her eyes she crossed her arms over her chest. "You already stole one brother from me. I won't let you take another."
Pennywise couldn't stop his giggles. He was so excited, so entertained. "I can smell your fear. You're dripping in it." Mika scrunched her nose in disgust. "Why'd you word it like that?"
'Whats up with this clown, I mean. Is he doing this on purpose? Trying to mess with my head?' Glancing over at the other patrons she noticed they were ignoring them completely, almost as if the table was invisible.
"Mika, Mika, Mika," shivers ran down her spine and the urge to vomit started back up again hearing him say her name so affectionately. "You remember what the other one said...Right?" his Cheshire grin grew even wider.
"N-no." of course she remembered. OG Pennywise said that the only way to get home was to sleep with him. Her stomach flipped and twisted in different shapes at the thought. Her nails dug into her wrist to ground herself. She couldn't just up and run away. At least here she was safe. If she ran she'd be dead.
She watched Pennywise's blue eyes close as he took a big breath, inhaling her scent. Drool started to drip down his mouth. Shifting as far back as she could, Mika watched horrified as his eyes shifted to that bright golden color.
"Don't you see?"
"I don't see anything. I'm blind." She snapped, pushing herself further into the seat. Wanting the cushions to swallow her whole. Mika could feel the sweat forming all around her. Her fear only intensified when Pennywise launched forward gripping her wrists to pull her close to him.
She could see his hair starting to shift back to the original orange red color. His teeth changing to sharp canines. Where the fuck was Bowers!? "Won't you float for me?" he moaned, grazing his fangs over my neck. My body shuddered feeling his tongue glide up my neck towards my cheek. She could feel the pool of drool dripping down under her shirt. 'Gross, gross, gross!'
"Please let go…" she whimpered trying to hold in her gags as a wet slimy noose wrapped around her throat. She refused to look scared of what she might see.
'I don't know how much more I can take! I don't want to be here anymore! I just want to go home!'
The feeling slid away from her throat as well as his breath on her neck. For whatever reason, he listened. Shifting his body back to his original position. The only thing that stayed were his hands on her wrists. Slowly opening her eyes once again she found him grinning. His appearance went back to normal. No more golden eyes, no more orangey red hair, his teeth looked perfectly straight.
He looked like a human, like he was on a date and having the time of his life. "Your fear is one of a kind. Unlike the other one, hers was like my other children." Mika didn't know if she should feel special or not. Confused, she didn't know how to process his words. What was that supposed to mean? That her fear was special?
"I'll keep you."
Eyebrows wide in confusion, shock, exasperated "Wha...what do you mean you'll keep me!" she hissed, yanking her wrists back. Her eyes squeezed shut feeling his claws dig in. Blood dribbled down onto the table. She had to hold in her scream. If felt like her wrists were on fire the way he dug his nails deeper. It didn't help the bite wound she was still dealing with. That was taking forever to heal.
"Dont." She felt frozen in her spot staring at him. He looked angry. "Don't pull away from me." Pennywise growled, pulling her hands back to the middle of the table, relaxing his grip when he noticed she wasn't moving. Another smile grew on his face, happy to see she was complying.
"Now," Mika kept her eyes on the table, watching the pool of blood grow larger and larger on the table. "Where to mark you."
Her eyes shot up. "No." Pennywise found it amusing to see this weak human in front of him speak so defiantly. He quickly noticed her fear starting to diminish, being replaced with rage. "No fucking way." she growled, a pained cry left her lips as she ripping her wrists back to her lap.
Deep lines raked through her wrists, it looked as though she had finally given up and tried to end it all with four deep jagged slanted lines across both wrists. "Fuck!" she hissed. It was getting worse now. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" she mumbled standing from her seat. Dizzy, she made her way towards the back snatching two cloth napkins. Steading herself against the wall for support.
"The fuck happened to you?" Looking up confused Bowers stood head cocked to the side, eyes trained on her bloody wrists. Glancing back at the table she watched Pennywise giggle, giving a mock wave before disappearing entirely.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," she muttered never taking her eyes off the spot Pennywise once sat in.
