Chapter 7- The Quest of Jason and the Senate Meeting
"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why"
Mark Twain
Three beautiful deities sat together, weaving some sort of thread as they muttered curses under their breaths. They were examining a sea green thread, that was intwined to forces that shouldn't have been placed. These deities were known as the Fates, one of the few most powerful beings across the universe. Beings that controlled the lives and course of time for all immortals and others. However, they were also known by other names such as The Moirai or The Parcae. They examined a sea green thread, one which has been intwined with some forces that should never have been tampered with.
"Clotho, do you have an explanation for this?" asked Lachesis looking at her sister. "Don't look at me Lachesis. This has nothing to do with me. You're the one who determined his life sister," Clotho replied. "Well clearly, I wouldn't have made a mistake of this magnitude. So, care to explain what has happened here?" Lachesis snapped back. "What has happened! A disaster has happened here! Perseus Jackson was meant to be born as a son of Greece, child of Poseidon. Not Neptune! Clearly, one of you two have made a mistake somewhere. And now his presence has had ripples that were unforeseen. This needs to be rectified now, or disastrous consequences will come to play sisters and both manifestations of reality will be disrupted," Atropos interrupted her sisters
Lachesis was silent for a moment, examining the thread in front of her. The mistake needed to be rectified as soon as possible, especially with what was coming.
"There's only one way to fix this sister, and you know it," Clotho spoke, addressing Lachesis. Lachesis looked at both her sisters before nodding to Clotho.
"Very well. Bring forth the next piece. Let the child of the sea play his part as has been given to him, regardless of what may happen. Bring back rise to the next child of the elder gods. For it is the only way to bring back balance and order. I will it so, let them wake once again Clotho," Lachesis spoke.
From far away, a woman watched the event unfold in front of her, a small smile on her face. She knew it was risky to interfere in the Fates plans, yet it was required. The half bloods needed to be prepared for what was coming and regardless of how dangerous it was, she knew that they wouldn't be able to survive unless someone took the risk that no one else was brave enough to do. She looked at 4 demigods in particular. The 4 demigods that represented the hope of humanity. The very 4 that'd bring change to the planet:
Perseus Jackson
Jason Grace
Annabeth Chase
Luke Castellan
Jason had never felt so close to his father as he did now, flying through the skies, riding on a storm spirit in the form of a horse. He could feel the electricity through the clouds, the power of the winds around him. It was hard for him to believe that he controlled all of this.
They had been travelling for almost three quarters of the day and Tempest assured him that they'd be reaching in another 20 minutes, giving Jason some time to collect his thoughts. He hoped his cousin would be alright. He knew Percy would be able to handle himself, but sometimes he didn't know when to back down. Especially with that sassy mouth of his. Jason just hoped that he was safe.
Soon enough, an island came into view, with mountains forming on top. On one of the mountains, was a fortress ground, with 20-foot-high gates and a road of polished purple stone. Tempest angled downwards, landing gracefully in front of the gates.
"Thank you Tempest," Jason told him to which he knickered back.
"No worries. Just call when you need my aid and I shall be there," Tempest spoke before rearing away. He ran across the road before lifting off, disappearing into the stormy sky.
Jason took a breath before walking in. He was greeted with a large ground, split into four sections. Jason remembered that there were 4 wind gods, representing each wind cardinal and season of the earth. And in the middle were stairs, which Jason guessed were towards Aeolus's throne room. As he walked past, he entered a large lobby room. There were random gusts of wind blowing everywhere, looking quite chaotic. There were random objects floating around, some of them passing Jason. In front was an airlock, which Jason guessed is where Aeolus was chilling about. He walked through and opened the airlock before widening his eyes. All around him were cameras, TVs, lights, recording studio keynotes and many other gadgets floating around. In the middle was a man, muttering curses as he punched in random stuff on a keyboard and looking wildly between a few monitors. He had a blue business suit, representing the skies and his face looked…weird. It was like someone had taken 5 different faces and mixed them together the wrong way and just somehow put it on his body.
"Um, hi sir. My name is Ja-" Jason started before the man put his hand up, silencing him. He spoke a few words into an earpiece in a language that Jason didn't understand. He growled in anger before pushing his keyboard away and turning to son of Jupiter.
"Sorry about that. I keep getting complaints all day. When are you going to fix the weather? When are you going to catch the spirits? I already have enough to do to please the Olympians and I still haven't got a promotion. Don't you think I deserve one?" He asked Jason who nodded, slightly feeling out of place.
"Now then, who are you and what do you want?" he asked Jason
"Um hi sir. My name is Jason, the son of Jupiter. And I was asked to help you capture the storm spirits that escaped," Jason told him to which he clapped in delight.
"Ahh yes. Jupiter did mention that I would be receiving some aid. I thought it was him just trying to get me off his back but guess he came through. Well then, I have something that will aid you, young half-blood," Aeolus said before snapping his fingers. An object came flying through to his hands. A compass. He handed it to Jason.
"Here you go son of Jupiter. When you launch yourself in the sky, the compass automatically guides you to where they are located. Unfortunately, I am currently busy controlling the spirits caught by my few assistants that need subduing before they wreak havoc all over Chicago and then of course, I have to present the weather in another 12 minutes," Aeolus said with a crazy grin on his face.
"Um Aeolus, how do I exactly control a storm spirit? I can't exactly control them?" Jason asked in confusion.
"You already know that answer to that son of Jupiter," He told Jason who raised an eyebrow
"You're asking me a question which you already know that answer. Now go on," Aeolus said before disappearing in a gust of wind.
Jason looked at the spot where the crazy god was before groaning. If only he could get a straight answer for once in his life. He walked out of the palace and stood on the road looking up at the stormy sky. He took a deep breath before concentrating around him.
Slowly the winds picked up, responding to Jason. He willed them to shoot him upwards to the sky and they responded to the master's child immediately, taking him far up towards the heavens. As Jason neared the clouds, he could see the chaos that was brewing. He pulled out the compass that Aeolus had given him. The dial started to glow gold as it started to spin before stopping in between North and East. Jason willed the winds to take him that way. Within a few minutes, he could see the trail of a wind spirit. Wait. Not just one. Not two.
There were at least 16 to 18 storm spirits, just flying around randomly, letting out large howls. Jason could see underneath, winds picking up, destroying cars, poles, traffic lights, and just laying waste down to the mortal world.
Aeolus said he would know what to do, but Jason had no idea what to do. Storm spirits were essentially monsters right? So they should be killable. He took out his coin and flipping it, drawing tails and soon a lance formed in his hand and simultaneously a bolt of lightning connected to his lance, energising Jason. He felt the winds respond to his commands. A few storm spirits turned towards him, as though just realising his presence. They immediately reared themselves before running towards him.
"Come on then," Jason muttered as he prepared himself. Fighting in mid-air was a strange sensation as he had no sense of footing but the winds seemed to know what he was thinking, readjusting their speeds to give Jason the best sense of balance that they could. The two venti rammed themselves towards him, to which he struck forward, holding the lance its hilt and stabbing forward, catching one of the storm spirits and stabbing it before using his left hand to grab the lance from the middle and swerving it anti clockwise, hitting the other venti in its midsection. It seemed to annoy them but they immediately pushed against him. Jason shifted his right leg outwards before spinning to the side, hefting his lance over his head before swiping it downwards and stabbing the venti, disintegrating it completely. The other backed away cautiously before sending sparks of electricity towards Jason, who dodged them with ease. He willed the winds to shoot him towards the venti who dodged Jason but Jason immediately turned around and threw his lance, having done it enough times when sparring Percy or Julia, and catching the other venti by surprise, ridding it. Jason opened his palms and the lance flew right back in his hands.
Jason looked ahead before fear creeping into him. The other venti had heard the commotion and decided to join in. Jason closed his eyes before concentrating on the sky above him. He could feel the lightning close enough to him and he yelled with his anger and immediately a blinding flash of light responded to his anger, incinerating 3 of the venti at Jason's will and command. Jason could feel his adrenaline pumping as he struck forward but these venti seemed to know what he was thinking. They managed to dodge and weave through his attacks, laying their own strikes against him. Jason knew it was futile. They were far stronger than him.
He was about to make a run for it before he felt a spark run across him. It was something he had never felt, but it felt almost comforting. Another strike of lightning tore across from heavens in all its glory, ripping through the winds with all its might, passing through the child of heavens itself before directing towards his enemies, splitting into three different branches and smiting the storm spirits, just as their Prince willed it. Jason looked to the skies, slightly shocked but a smile on his face.
"Dad…"
Jason now understood. He had known what to do. Juno had literally spelled it out for him.
"You have the skies at your command. You just need to say the word and the winds will be at your beck and call. The lightning that flows through the sky will obey your word should you will it to do your bidding."
Jason was the child of the king, son of the lord of the winds. These spirits should be following his will and command. He retracted his lance back to a coin and pocketed it before looking at the skies again. He spread his arms open, calling on the winds to form some of rope for him. One of the things he had learnt at Camp Jupiter, if you want to beat a pack, you take down the leader. He immediately zeroed in on the largest venti. Jason was exhausted but he knew he had to hold out. He pushed his arms out forward and the winds responded, pushing against them with all their might. Jason took his….wind rope?... and threw it across to the venti, using all his strength to harness its power. The spirit roared in anger as it tried to escape the son of Jupiter but Jason held on. He used all his strength to hold it in place as he concentrated once again.
"Just one more. Just one more lightning strike. That's all I ask…" Jason prayed. He felt his gut tug and immediately the winds picked up, forming a hurricane around the son of lightning. Jason could feel the ozone steaming from him as he concentrated. His ear drums popped out ringing across his head as another bolt of lightning heeded his command, striking down the venti. Jason flipped his coin again, drawing heads as his gladius came through. He lunged forward, the winds boosting him across as he finally struck the venti. A large roar shot across the sky as it disintegrated but things weren't over.
Jason felt his vision darken as he lost control of the winds. He had used up so much energy that he couldn't even control his own body.
He felt the winds rush across his face before he realised, he was falling. In his dull state, he couldn't make out of much but he was pretty sure he heard a familiar feminine voice ring through the skies.
"Get Him!"
The skies parted through as a horse galloped at full speed, shooting downwards to catch his new friend. He angled his body horizontally and shot across, catching Jason just in time before lifting back up. He waited a few minutes for Jason to recover himself.
Jason felt himself land on something and looked down to see Tempest. "Close one sir," Tempest said to which Jason nodded "Too close. Should've realised how much energy that would take," Jason said in between breaths as he calmed himself. He had used up far too much energy but as he looked upwards, he could see his efforts were successful. The other venti has disappeared altogether after witnessing Jason's display of incredible power.
"That was slightly overkill, especially at your age. Had I not been there, you would've fallen to your death," "Thanks Tempest," Jason told his horse gratefully.
"Where to?" he asked. Jason thought for a moment before saying "Back to Aeolus. I need some answers,"
Jason looked at the skies before saying "Thank you father."
Jason walked through the palace quickly, having recovered after eating a few pieces of ambrosia. He walked through to the chamber, seeing Aeolus in front of a camera.
"And that's the weather for now. See you in another 12 minutes!" Aeolus laughed like a madman as the lights shut off. He looked at his monitor for a few moments before turning, seeing that Jason had arrived.
"Well done son of Jupiter. That was most impressive, especially the show you had placed. There won't be other storm spirits bothering me for a while. I guess I now owe you one favour, which I'm sure you will cash in soon, considering, well…..not my place to say," Aeolus spoke
"Considering what?" Jason asked
"Not my place to say. You'll find out soon enough, after all I'm sure Juno would want you prepared,"
Jason took out the compass and handed it back to Aeolus before speaking "Do you have any idea who tried to sabotage you?"
Aeolus was quiet for a few moments, his eyes deep in thoughts. "Alas, I do not know. It happened quite suddenly. It was almost as though some powerful force had struck through, attacking my prison cells. But I do know one thing for sure. Whatever it was, it was clearly very powerful. And ancient,"
Jason nodded as his mind raced. So, it was true. Ancient and powerful. That title belonged to the Titans. Lupa's suspicions were right.
"As you have done me a favour, I shall send you back to where you wish to go," Aeolus brought him out of his thoughts, looking at him expectantly. Jason thought for a moment before speaking
"Send me to the entrance of Camp Jupiter. I need to speak to Lupa."
Jason felt his world turn upside down and within a moment he found himself on the road, the entrance to Camp Jupiter just across.
"Well done my champion,"
Jason turned around immediately to see Juno. He wondered if this would be the last time, he'd see her.
"No, it's not the last time we'll meet Jason. However, after today, I won't be able to interact with you as frequent,"
"How comes Salacia is able to interact with Percy more often?" Jason asked, out of curiosity, not jealousy. Juno sighed before responding.
"The son of Neptune's circumstance is different. Salacia herself isn't bound by the ancient laws to interact with her champion and neither is she an Olympian hence not burdened by the responsibilities of one. Therefore, she is able to aid Perseus more often, regardless of being the Queen of the Seas because one of her duties to the Throne of the Seas is to protect it and Perseus is the child of the sea. Also, most of their interactions are within the water, therefore they are under Neptune's protection and not much can be done about it unless the Fates themselves wish to intervene. Whereas, I am the Queen of Olympus. I have far too many responsibilities keeping my family together and as an Olympian, I am under certain restrictions from interfering too much. Therefore, I am not able to aid you as much. But nonetheless, a part of me is always watching over you Jason. And you should know your father is as well. And even though he can't speak to you, I can see his pride for you. You have made him proud. Just as I am, my chosen one."
Jason looked into his patron's eyes, seeing the sincerity in her words before nodding.
"We shall speak again soon. Till then farewell," Juno said as she disappeared in a flash. Jason turned around before walking back home. He looked at sky, seeing that it was evening. He hoped Percy would arrive soon. It was the Summer Solstice now.
He walked to the gates of Camp Jupiter, where the guards recognised Jason, allowing him entrance. Just a few metres away, was Lupa standing next to Julia, who both apparently were waiting for him.
"Well, looks like you made it alive," Julia said, pride shining through her eyes when Jason approached her. Jason had been a part of her Cohort for around 4 years and she had grown to care for the child of Jupiter.
"Somehow. Honestly, I was quite lucky," Jason admitted to which Lupa shook her head.
"From what I was told pup, you demonstrated true courage. Well done," Lupa spoke. Jason grinned. He always liked praises from Lupa.
"Percy will be returning tonight. We will be holding a senate meeting then and both of you can inform us of your quests then. You have till then to rest," she continued before racing off. Julia looked at Jason before motioning for him to follow her.
"If you want, you can go to the bathhouses. You look like you were run over an electric horse," Julia said to which Jason laughed.
"In a way, I did,"
"But well done. Look at you, on your first quest already and made it back alive. That's quite the achievement," she said with a warm smile. Jason smiled back. In a way, Julia was a role model to him. She was always someone he could trust and always someone who had other people's backs when needed and was always available to help people.
"Have you heard from Percy?" Jason asked
"Your cousin is fine, don't worry. I believe he was summoned by your father. He put up quite the show from what I've heard," Julia said to which Jason looked at her in question.
"Near one of the coasts of the city, there was a large thunderstorm and some what of a sea storm from what I was told. And a large earthquake near Mount Tamalpais. Seems your cousin has been quite active," Julia said with slight admiration on her face before looking at Jason, "And I believe he wasn't the only one? A large hurricane and windstorm had appeared near the island of Aeolia," Julia said with a smirk to which Jason rubbed his neck sheepishly.
"Yeah. Got a bit carried away. Although it did drain me quite a bit," Jason replied. "I would imagine. Powers like yours are powerful but they take up a lot of energy," Julia explained as they arrived at their barracks.
"We have war games tomorrow, we had it delayed for your quest. You have the day off to recover after your bath. I'll see you in the evening," she said as she walked off for whatever lesson she had to oversee.
Jason went to his bunk as he sat down, finally getting a chance to rest. He was still exhausted from the ordeal earlier. Summoning that windstorm had really taken the wind out of him. No pun intended. He took off his bag and left it on his bed before walking off to the baths.
Jason felt refreshed. Of course, taking a hot Roman bath does that to you. On his way out, he saw Reyna waiting for him.
"So, how you doing?" she asked him as they walked together. "Not too bad. My back shoulder hurts a bit but other than that, most injuries are pretty much soaked in," Jason replied, "Anything new happen here?"
"Not much honestly. Just the normal, except for a few chatters on yours and Percy's quests. Oh, and I suggest you watch out for Octavian,"
Jason grimaced at hearing this. Octavian was a legionnaire of the First Cohort and was in line to be the auger as his birth right being the descendant of Apollo and a total douchebag. He managed to wriggle himself to the First Cohort due to his connections however, he didn't have the capability of even fighting a pillow.
"Why, what happened with him?" Jason asked wearily "Honestly, I am not too sure myself, apparently he threw some accusations and while no one is taking him seriously for the moment, I can guarantee he'll present them at the Senate meeting tonight, so just be careful," she said as they were silent for a moment.
"Also heard war games for tomorrow?" Jason asked to which Reyna nodded, a smirk on her face. "Yup. And we're on opposing teams. So, I look forward to fighting you," Reyna challenged to which Jason laughed "You too, Reyna, you too."
Percy had just woken up thanks to a nudge from Blackjack. "We're arriving in 5 minutes boss," he said. Sure enough, Percy could see the view of San Francisco, and the linings to Camp Jupiter. Blackjack spread his wings and angled downwards towards the Camp and people started noticing them. A few of them prepared to launch their bows in response but Percy could see Julia motioning for them to stand down.
Blackjack landed on an empty spot, retracting his wings as Percy mounted off his new friend. A few people approached him as they looked at Blackjack in wonder, including Michael, Reyna, Dakota and Julia.
"Welcome back Percy," Julia said as he grinned to her. He motioned for people to make way as he led Blackjack to the stables. The pegasus had agreed to stay in Camp Jupiter for Percy, in order to help him when needed.
"Got yourself a new friend?" came a familiar voice and he turned around. "Yeah. A gift from my dad," Percy replied to Reyna as she inspected Blackjack, a dreamy look in her eyes. "If you want, I'll give you a ride on him later," he said, looking at her expression with a smile on her face to which she smiled at him. "Where's Jason?" he asked "I just had a talk with him a while back before leaving off. Speaking of which, I need to go for my next lesson, so I'll see you after," Reyna said, waving him goodbye, leaving him alone with his centurion.
"You doing alright?" Julia asked in concern to which he smiled. "Not too bad. A bit drained, but should recover after a night's sleep. Fighting a titan does take the wind out of you," Percy responded, his face slightly weary as Julia turned to look at him incredulously. He sighed before recounting his battle with the Titan of Anger as she looked him, slightly impressed. Being able to hold against a titan, even for a few minutes was quite a feat, regardless of the fact that he lost. Julia led him to the barracks, informing him of the meeting before leaving him to his thoughts, having to go meet up with the other centurions.
"Well, the son of Neptune lives," came a voice shaking Percy out of his thoughts. "So does the son of Jupiter," Percy spoke, his face still slightly guarded but Jason shook that off to him being tired. They both sat down as they recounted their adventures to one another. Jason was slightly surprised Percy got to go to Olympus. It had been ages since a demigod was allowed to go on Olympus. And Jason was slightly jealous. Not because Percy was allowed on Olympus, he deserved it. But that he got to meet Jupiter and Jason couldn't. Jason had wanted to see his father, just once. But he smiled as he looked at Percy, who was clearly happy at meeting Neptune.
After a while, they both decided to start walking for the senate meeting. Percy smiled as he took in the view of Camp Jupiter. There were Mars kids, doing reps on the field of Mars, Ceres kids, blossoming the gardens and growing flowers and the Apollo kids shooting arrows across the archery range. Just another normal day at camp.
They passed the shrine of Neptune on the way as Percy stopped. Jason looked at him as he spoke "I'll catch up with you in a moment," Jason nodded in understanding.
Percy took a deep breath before going in. The shrine looked like a small shack, covered in cobwebs and mould fruits. Percy's eyes narrowed as he looked at it. Right then and there he swore that he would rebuild his father's shrine, making it as beautiful as he could.
"Hi father. I just wanted to say thank you. I know that you're not allowed to meet me directly but I haven't really taken a chance to see what you have done for me. You sent me these weapons that have saved my life multiple times. You gave me your wife as my patron, who has helped me get to where I am and is ready to give up her time to train me and also protect me in battle. And you have blessed me with these incredible abilities, to control the sea and other. I guess, what I am trying to say is, I am sorry I didn't take the time to appreciate the things I was given and that I'm grateful for whatever aid you have provided me and I hope you are having a great day Dad,"
"Welcome Perseus Jackson and Jason Grace. Please take your seats and we can begin the meeting," Praetor Katters spoke as they sat down.
"People of the senate. As you can see, both Perseus Jackson and Jason Grace have returned from their quests, successful in their endeavours. I now call upon them to recount their journey and inform us of what you all have learnt," Cassie spoke as she looked at both of them.
Jason decided to speak first, explaining what Juno had told them, his journey to Aeolus's realm and fighting off storm spirits. All around him were looks of admiration as everyone was impressed at the son of Jupiter's skills. He then relayed what Aeolus had told him, about some ancient powers awakening once again, causing both Praetors to glance at one another. Jason finished off to when he reached back to Camp, not bothering to relay his conversation with Juno. That was private only for Percy and Reyna to know.
Then Percy decided to speak, relaying his quest, explaining what the Sea Naiad had told him and what information he had gathered when he had infiltrated and also his battle with Menoetius. This caused for even more looks of admiration and some eyes widening across the senate. David himself had a look of disbelief on his face and Cassie looked at Percy with interest, and slight respect.
Percy finished off by explaining the conversation he had with Jupiter and Neptune and ended off there.
"So, what you are saying is that, you went in all by yourself to a gathering of our enemies, made it out alive, fought a Titan, gained entry to Olympus and spoke to the king of the gods?" came a nasally voice as Jason grimaced. He knew exactly what was about to happen here.
"Yes. I thought I made that perfectly clear?" Percy asked Octavian who looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Forgive me, but that just seems to be quite far-fetched. Regardless of your parentage, a 12-year-old managed to fight off a Titan, and was deemed worthy to gain passage to speak on Olympus. Am I the only one who sees the slight issue here?" Octavian spoke to the senate as a few people started muttering amongst themselves.
"Well I told you the truth as it is Octavian. If you have a problem with it, not my issue to deal with," Percy growled. One of the things he hated was being accused of lying.
Octavian opened his voice to reply before being cut off by a firm voice.
"Enough! Octavian, while I see your point here, might I remind you that Perseus Jackson is here on an endorsement of the Mother of Rome and the Queen of the Seas. Both large influences within the godly world. Are you sure you are willing to accuse Percy of something here, and if so on what claims?" Cassie asked Octavian who paled slightly. He started fumbling for words before being interrupted yet again by Julia, who decided to stand up.
"Yes, Centurion Queen?" David addressed the Haustaus Prior. "I have it under good confirmation of my probatio's story being true as being informed by Lady Lupa herself," she stated to both Praetors before returning back to her seat as Cassie looked back to Octavian.
"Well, there you have it, Octavian. Now are there any more questions?" Cassie asked the senate to which no one had replied. She looked to her counterpart who nodded before standing up.
"Now, to our final task," David spoke as he looked to the Senate. "Percy Jackson has committed a Valour of Service to Rome. As per our laws, I see fit to bring in Perseus Jackson, son of Neptune, champion of Salacia to be inducted as a member of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata. Are there any who would wish to oppose this?"
No one spoke up thankfully as Percy smiled. Jason looked at his cousin with pride shining in his eyes.
"Perseus Jackson. Rise and please come" Percy moved to the Praetor.
"Your ID," Cassie asked for which he gave to her.
"Your arm" David said
Percy held up his forearm and David looked up the heavens, his hands raised. "We accept Perseus Jackson, Son of Neptune, Champion of Salacia, to the Twelfth Legion Fulminata for his Act of Valour. Do you pledge your life to the senate and people of Rome?"
"I do," Percy's voice rang clearly
All through the Senate, their voices shouted "Senatus Populusque Romanus"
Fire blazed to life on Percy's arm as he steeled his eyes and clenched his teeth, his face perfectly neutral. The smoke and flame died out instantly, leaving behind the marks of SPQR, an image of a trident and underneath it a smaller image of a dolphin. The marks of Neptune and Salacia.
"It is passed. Senators and Centurions, dismissed" Cassie spoke as people started getting up and walking out.
Author's Note: Wow! 5502 words in. I wanted to add ths War Games Scene in this chapter but I thought it may have been too much to add in one chapter and some people may have preferred it if I split it up. I have written the War Games scene, but I need to continue the chapter to a good length before posting it. Also I thought I'd give all of you reader a slight hint: There will be a proper quest turning up for Percy, Jason and Reyna. This was more of a task that they had to do in order to prevent chaos but they'll be issued an actual quest to carry out and that'll come up soon.
Didnt get too many reviews, but I guess that's just because people didn't have much to say adn that's fine, people don't always have to review. Nevertheless, thanks to Hamtol, AWESOME1356, LoneWolf229, Yesse2362, ShadowThanatos, ashblaze03 and Jojo Jesus for reviewing. I enjoy reading all the reviews that people send me and it motivates me to write more. A few responses to questions from all of you:
LoneWolf229: I do intend to continue this book to the best of my ability, and hope to finish it as a good story should. I do get busy but I do try and find time always to write more of the chapter. Thanks a lot of reviewing.
Yesse2362: Thanks for pointing out that mistake. Didn't quite see that one. Just one point though, a few cyclops have 2 eyes, but regardless, I'll make sure to check for that next time I write.
ashblaze03: Glad to see the spacing is better. Also a lot of people have been asking about pairing. I'll be taking a poll, both on here and on my discord about taking in pairing. I have compiled a few ideas about Preynam Percabeth (I have been planning percabeth for a while and i think, I've made a good plot), Perlia and maybe but perhaps unlikely Perzoe. Like i said, I'll decide it later but I am taking in every suggestion from everyone that is taking the time to give me suggestions.
Also thanks to ShadowThanatosB and Jojo Jesus for reviewing the most on every chapter from almost the very beginning till now both on Fanfiction and on discord, it does mean a lot to have support and also taking in suggestions every now and then on discord.
And lastly a thank you to someone, whom I'm not sure whether I have their permission to say their name out at the moment, but is a beta reader and has helped me shape the story slightly better and even though he's not a beta reader for me, he's given me a lot of good suggestions and thoughts and if you're reading this, thanks for all your help bro, it means a lot.
Enjoy the chapter
