I will say that while I don't like what I did for chapter 2, I did it to make it easier to find shit out, and to give it in a different perspective of the cast. I am going to treat the Currency in a way I can understand it. I am unaware of an existing currency, and if there is, I will leave it out. Mostly because it would mess with the flow of the chapter. I don't really have much to say, so enjoy this chapter.

Slowly, my eyes open. I look around, to see I am in a wooden room, on a bed. It takes a minute for me to realize it, but I remember that I am no longer in the woods, sleeping on trees, or the grass. While it is odd to think of, but since I am stuck in this world, I might as get to know more about it. Then again, I probably should find out more about this world, before I do anything. I don't want to be dependent on my rupees, as I have no clue if I can use them, or if they are worth anything here. I was lucky with Termina using rupees as currency as well, but I don't want to be dependent on one world's currency if I can help it. Since I am stuck here, well I have to use this place's currency.

Well, I think I have laid in this bed long enough, so I better get up and talk to the others. Getting out of bed, and making sure to fix it, as I got to stay for free for a night, I better be nice about it. I fix it, making it look nice before I open the door to see Meidori standing on the other side, about to knock on it. She gains a surprised look, at seeing me about to come out.

"Oh Link! Good your up. I was afraid you would be like those two perverted bums over there," she points at Zel and Stunk, who are on top of each other with massive lumps coming from their heads, "so I came to check on you. They snuck in, to try and get you and Crim to go to the Meow Meow Paradise again," At that, Meidori gains a very angry face, " and I wasn't going to let them force you or Crim into it. Now, I am sure you have a few questions for us after I go see how Crim is doing, we should go downstairs to talk. You probably have a few questions, and I hope we can answer them. Though, don't be surprised when those two, "Meidori points at the body pile again, "try to convert you to their ways." Meidori finishes, giving me a cute smile.

I go downstairs, and sit at a table, to wait for Meidori. After a couple of minutes, I see Crim float down to the table I am sitting at, while I watch Meidori throw Stunk and Zel down to the table, then walk down the stairs. "So is it like to be able to fly, or is it float around?" I ask Crim, curious about it.

"It's more of a float than anything. I currently can't fly, as my wings can't support me, as my Halo is what allows me to do that. I can float around, thanks to angel magic. But to answer your question, how do you describe walking to another person? It just feels natural." Crim says as Meidori reaches the table, as Stunk and Zel finally get up, and sit at the table too.

Meidori, Stunk, Zel and Crim all look at each other like they are sending each other messages via a stare, though in the case of Stunk and Zel, it isn't impossible that they know what each other think do to how long they have known each other, based on their body language and the way they fought when they meet me and Crim.

Meidori, I am willing to bet she has known them for a while but has less of an ability to know what the other two are thinking. Not in a rude way, but combat tends to give you an idea one what others think, and if you have an ally, it helps you understand each other. It is mostly because you figured out what makes them able to fight, so you can figure them each other out quickly, so you can keep up with each other, implying that they went through a massive amount of fighting, or just got along pretty quickly.

Crim. Crim is an angel, who seems to be someone I can get along with, and seems like a nice kid, adult? Crim looks like a kid, something seems off about him. Like he has something he hides, mostly to protect himself. It is up to him to say something, if it bothers him, as I don't think it is my business to know.

Like I said about Stunk, he has that aura of adventuring. You can find it out when you compare it to Meidori and Crim. His attitude is odd though. He gets a strange look in his eyes and acts differently than he normally acts. It's odd like he has two mindsets. I won't let that be his defining moment for me, as he has quite the arm. He is pretty good with a sword and could be some trouble for most people if they aren't careful.

Zel is interesting. He has most of what I think about Stunk, but with magic and arrows instead of a sword. He also looks so much like me, it's scary. That makes me wonder if he is this world's version of me, as I noticed that every world I have visited has something similar to others. What makes him odd though, is the way he interacts with others, not the odd mentality, but the normal interactions. His body language and face don't line up with what he says. It's like he is hiding something, but no one notices it, unless you are an outsider. Its off, like he is close to snapping or something. Maybe I am miss reading it, as I can say that if I was a master of body reading, I probably would have stopped Ganondorf long ago.

Back to Meidori. She seems to be a very nice ladybird. Is that a term I can use? Not sure, but she is nice. She also seems to get irritated at Stunk and Zel very easily, though that might be her history with them. It does make me wonder, how much is she bird, and how much is she human besides the obvious parts. Oh no, I am not asking that That would be stupid and rude. I mean, what idiot would ask something like that? But the point is, is that she seems like a nice lady and someone with a no-nonsense attitude about others.

"So Link. Did you have questions for us?" Meidori asks, looking right at me. I honestly debate that, as there is a multitude of questions I could start off with, like what is this world's currency, what type of jobs are there, what were those faces Stunk and Zel were making, what is a succ-girl. The ones that either has something I need to know, or just need explaining.

I take a minute to think, before I decide. "What is this world's currency? You might have noticed that I am not from here," at that, the group chuckles, "and I think that the money I used in Hyrule and Termina, may not be as good here." I finish saying.

Mediri gets up, walks to a what I assume is a drawer behind the counter, and pulls out three round objects, closes the door, and walks back over. "We use a coin system, using metals used for coins only," at that she places three coins on the table. The first coin looks brown, the second has a light gray look, and the third has a yellow tint to it. "Now, I only have three of the five coins we use for currency, as the other two are worth much more than I am comfortable with having out. The first one, the brown one is made with a metal called bronze, and it is the lowest currency we have. The room I let you and Crim sleep in is normally one hundred of the bronze coin, which we call the Cat coin. It uses a cat's paw as its symbol, hence the name. The second one, the light gray one, is worth twenty Cat Coins, is called the Elf Coin. It is made of silver and imprinted with an elf ear for a symbol, again why it's named that. To say it now, each coin of the five is named after a succ-girl race, which I will explain later, as I know Stunk and Zel will do their usual stick if I let them do it. The Elf coin is the most used as it is the basic currency for us, as most things are worth at least one Elf coin. So that would mean that the room I let you and Crim sleep in, is worth five Elf coin. Don't worry about paying me back or anything like it, I let you stay the night for free, as I could tell you two needed help. Anyway, the yellow coin is called the Orc coin, which is made out of a metal called gold. The Orc coin is worth about ten Elf coins, or two hundred Cat coins. It is not as basic in use as the Elf coin, but it still is a higher currency. Now, there are two coins I can't pull out here, as I don't want someone taking them. The next coin is called the Sal coin. It is a green-colored coin made out of emerald, a special gem. It is worth fifty Orc coins, meaning a lot of money. The symbol on is a salamander tail, hence the name Sal coin. The final one is one that while I have never seen myself, I know what it looks like, and what it's made with and it's value. Part of my job to know that at the very least. It is called the Succ coin, and it is made with a crystal that is multicolored, in the rainbow kind. One is worth three hundred Sal coins and is the rarest of the coins. It has the wings and tail of a succubus. Again, while I never have seen one, I was told what it was, how to identify it, and how to know its real. That's our currency and economy in a nutshell." Meidori says.

It takes a minute to process all that. While it's not complicated, I am just trying to do the math, to figure out how I could compare it to rupees. Not easy, as that doesn't have a five or ten version of their coin, but a bronze coin is a green rupee, a silver coin is a red rupee, a gold coin is a purple rupee, an emerald coin is a large green rupee, which is one hundred green rupees, and a crystal coin is a large yellow rupee, which is worth two hundred green rupees. The idea is crazy, yet I think I get it now. Though, the term succ-girl came up again. "What exactly is a succ-girl?" I ask, still confused by the term.

"A succ-girl is a girl born with succubus blood in her. All living things in this world, not including you, are succ-girls, but only females are affected by it. Males aren't, and succ-girls have their own business they can do. I work here, as I don't wish to involve myself with that disgusting business." Meidori says, grinding her teeth together at the end.

"So why did Stunk and Zel have those... Odd faces whenever they talked about succ-girls?" I ask, confused. Those faces for some reason made me want to punch them, even though that would be a dick move to a stranger. While I never would do something like that, the faces they made make me want to do it. It is honestly concerning that it is even happening. The silver ring I have seems to release a bit of heat at these two.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The ring is an item I had made, from a strange chunk of silver found near a gravesite. But the silver was out in the open, and from what I could tell, only I could see it originally. When I grabbed it, it became visible to others, as it got forged into the ring. I honestly forgot I had the ring, as it hasn't really done anything since I got it, until now.

Stunk and Zel fall off the benches in shock, while Meidori just giggles at Links wording and question. I just look on confused at their reaction to my question. Is it really that odd of a question to ask? I mean, it's not like I asked something weird or socially unexcepted. I hope at least.

"Well, they are perverts, simply put. They let their perverted mentality control them selfs. That's why." Meidori says, still giggling at my confusion. She also has a look of approval at me, oddly enough. What is a pervert anyway?

"What is a pervert then?" You mentioned it a few times, but I don't understand what it is, other than emotion kind of thing." I say, with an obvious look of confusion. Stunk and Zel just look at each other, and shake their heads.

Meidori looks at me, and it seems to take a minute for something to register for her until she pales slightly. Stunk and Zel look like they want to say something, but Meidori just glares at them, shutting them up. After the glare, she sighs, like she realizes something. What she realizes, I have no clue. If I did, then I would have the ability to read minds, and last time I checked, the only thing I can read is a book.

"Link, a pervert is someone with a different mentality to others. It's not that important though." Meidori says, with a laugh I think is forced. How odd, I don't think she is someone to do that. Then again, it might be a touchy topic either socially, or just an untouchable topic in general. I mean, its not like a goddess or something is just magically going to appear, poke my head, and make everything better.

I just let it slide, as it may not be important. "My final question is, what kind of jobs are there?" I ask, wanting to know. She seems happy that I dropped that topic. Again, odd. Maybe it is a taboo topic for this society. Then again, succ-girls, while understandable about what they are, I would figure must have something of major worry to them, if what a perverted mentality is, is as taboo as it is.

Meidori gives both Stunk and Zel a glare that promise's death if they speak. She then looks at me with a smile. "Well, there is a job at the tavern, to be an assistant waiter, though I could see that as a whenever you are here job, adventuring jobs, and bounty hunting. I believe you would fit best in the Adventuring and Bounty Hunting jobs, as they are similar to what you have already done, while the assistant waiter could be a job for in-between the other two. Not a well paying job, but one you can take to wind down, and learn about any potential jobs related to the two you can do. While Stunk and Zel are seasoned adventurers, they don't much compared to the hell you went through. They both pay well, and they are something you have done before, to an extent. Assistant waiter, you could possibly do, though it might take a while for you to pick up, due to you having little experience in the type of job, and you not being used to the client's we get. if you decide to do Adventuring and Bounty Hunting, the building that offers both is across the street from this building." Meidori explains to me. She seems to be quite happy at telling me this like she wanted me to go down the route. Then again, I might be over-analyzing the room in this case. She has been nothing but nice and helpful to me so far, and quite frankly, it might be a good thing to do that type of job, adventuring and bounty hunting. I get to explore this world, I get to make money, and I do something I am good at for it. It's different compared to Termina and Hyrule, where I was shoved into it, and told to do it with a fucking Goddess damned smile on my face. But that's a different rant, for a different day.

"That actually seems like I could be good at. Thank you Meidori." I say, with a smile. Meidori seems to blush at this, while Stunk and Zel give weird looks at me. Not the odd looks that I want to punch, but looks that speak of something else. I can't pinpoint what the looks are, but they seem off. Like, anger or something of the line, but at the same time, it doesn't match in terms of body language. Though, I might just be over reading the situation again. It wouldn't be the first time that happened.

"N-no problem Link!" Meidori stutters, blushing for some reason. I hope she's okay, and not coming down with a fever. If she is, I would help her with what she needed until she got better. I had a fever before while helping a world with a magical problem they called waves. I had a fever for a good week and had to fight while it was at its worse. It's not a fun thing to do, but that's a story for another day.

"Oh yeah, what can I do with these, to sell them?" I ask, pulling out the two Giant Wallets I have, filled with Rupees. Meidori looks in one, and her eyes widen with shock. I guess it might be a bit, based on her reaction. Stunk and Zel look at the wallets, and their eyes grow three times the size of their heads. I guess it might be something common in this world, but that is weird as hell.

"Link. Just one of your Rupees is worth at least twenty Orc coins. and you have this many, you could have enough to last you a good long while. The adventurers building has a trader you can sell them at, and get what they are worth. You should still do those adventures and Bounty hunts, as they would help you get more money, so you can use it on whatever you want. Just be careful with it." Meidori says with a shocked expression. So my suspicions were confirmed in this case, it is a lot of money. Hey, at least I can use it to survive for a good while, should I have too. Never know when emergency funds will be needed.

"Do you guys have any questions for me, since you answered mine?" I ask. They didn't have to answer my questions, though the fact that they did makes it where I should offer it at the very least. It would be very rude to just up and leave, without at least making the offer. At least, that's what Saria taught me growing up. I miss Saria. Wonder how she is doing. I hope to see her again one day, but that almost certainly won't happen for a good long while. Regardless, I should be polite to those that are helping me when they didn't have to, and could have left me to suffer in the woods. Though I think Crim helped me in this case, as I did save him from that monster, so there was some proof I wasn't going to do something stupid, like attack an ally.

Meidori, Stunk, Zel, and Crim look at each other. They seem to quietly discuss amongst each other, possibly debating on whether or not to ask me questions. They take a good five minutes to discuss before they come to an agreement.

"We have no questions for you know, but we would like to save that for a different day." Meidori says to me. She seems to be smiling at me, for some reason. Maybe she is thinking of something she needs to do later, that she likes to do. I guess that's why she is a waitress. She must really like the job, if she is smiling about it.

"Thank you for answering my questions at the very least. While I know you didn't have to do this, I am still very grateful for your help. I hope to see you all again!" I say, shaking their hands. Again, Saria taught me what she could. It doesn't help though, that those I interacted with growing up were kids. So I am uncomfortable interacting with adults beyond the necessary, with some exceptions.

I wave my hand to the others, a way of saying goodbye, as I step out of the pub and inn, walking towards the adventure and bounty Hunter guild, to sign up, sell my rupees, and possibly go do something that I know how to do. The building has a blue roof, a nice looking outer wall made of bricks, a chimney for heat when the weather gets cold, and a few windows for some natural light. It also has a massive sign on the entrance saying that its the adventure and bounty hunter guild. I take a minute to examine it, as it looks pretty nice, before I go up, and open the dark brown door, to step inside of the building.

Omake:

Meidori's POV when Link asked a couple of questions, mostly the pervert and currency.

When Link asked what a pervert is, I can admit, I realized I messed up. I can either lie, and keep him pure, or answer it correctly, and make him less of a cinnamon roll. A pure, glazed, cinnamon roll.

I can't just spoil him, but I can't lie to him. What do I do? I won't let those two impurify him though! The glare seems to shut them up, and I make sure my trusty unbreakable frying pan of Doom is ready underneath the table, and I sigh, knowing I will be lying to Link. I don't like the idea of it, but I want him to stay pure.

I have an idea. I could give him a half-truth. Say what it is, but not give any details. The cinnamon roll will stay pure! That I swear!

I am so happy he dropped it! While I don't like lying, or giving half-truths, I don't want him to be corrupted by Stunk and Zel. I already have my hands full trying to protect Crim, but Link can go traveling to avoid it. I know I want to protect him, but why do I feel sad at him not staying here? Don't tell me I have a crush on him already!?

Oh God the explanation made him smile! His smile is so cute! I... I think I do have a crush on him! But I have only known him for a day!

HOLY SHIT! ONE OF THESE ARE WORTH A FORTUNE, AND HE HAS SO MANY! My God he is loaded with just one of the gems, let alone the dozens he has in just one bag! I should let him know at least.

You know, I am going to miss Link, even if I only knew him for a day. Maybe it's that sudden crush that formed speaking. I mean, I have heard weird cases of love forming. Though, I worry that he may not be able to understand it, do to what he went through.

Telling him about the adventuring and bounty hunting, was a good idea. He would be away from the two super perverts, while at the same time helping him get adjusted to this world, and letting him get out to learn more. That and I am able to protect Crim from them as well, so that's a plus as well.

While I am sad for him to leave, but it is a necessary step for him. Him becoming an adventurer and bounty hunter will help him learn about the world, and let him get more acquainted with the differences in life. It will also give him some space to clear his head out, and let him relax, to an extent, so he doesn't gain some spice to his cinnamony goodness. Hey, he is cute after all. So, so cute. Like a kitten pawing at a toy, and mewing when you throw it for them. While I may be a birdmaid, I can't deny that level of cuteness. His air of innocence just enhances it honestly. The naivety just makes it even easier to protect his cinnamony pureness.

I will make sure the pure cinnamon roll, stays pure. That I swear. I will beat Skunk and Zel if they try to drag him or Crim into it. I won't let those to get ruined by those two perverts.

Well. This ended up shorter than I expected. Way shorter. Then again, this is the final prologue chapter, as I plan on making more adventure and bounty hunting themed chapters. I also wanted to just build up some more of the current attempt at my fluff. I don't think its bad, but I never tried doing the fluffiness before. The only thing I can do is try, and improve. So I tried my hand at it, and I wanted to build up the fluff, and build more fluff before the sour lemons. I plan on having enough fluff to make mountain fluff.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this short chapter. Have a great day, stay out of trouble, and don't do something stupid, like chocking on a muffin. By eating the damn thing whole, wrapper included.
