Welp, chapter 6 is here. Yay.
Now, I want to address the guest review, mostly to clarify somethings in this story.
I am going to do a TLDR of this review, just so it doesn't blow up my word count, and I can have it be understandable on a phone, as I can't switch between the two easily. Apologies in advance if it sounds like I am being rude with the TLDR, I was trying to summarize it the best I could.
"If Link can make fire potions, Dragon girls will be happy. I don't get why some people put characters who can't get corrupted in a sexual universe. The reviewers made more money from reviewing, than adventuring. I like the Meidri pairing. Crim is an innocent angel, but still got corrupted. I personally don't think a Hylian who has time-traveled multiple times with missed puberty's would be able to avoid the sexual pull of the world. I think the main pairing is possible, as Meidri hasn't killed the others yet, even with their antics. It's a great read, and I hope you do more."
Alright, so I will explain a bit, as I felt I do need to explain a few things and clarify a couple of topics with this story.
To answer a few of the reviews questions, even if implied, Link isn't immune to the antics of the whole world, (Spoilers for those who haven't read my Child of the Moon story, which this Link is being used from) but he is the son of Artemis, who isn't exactly known for fucking everything or being fucked by everything that moves, rocks included.
It more insinuates that he is much harder to corrupt, and is unaware of most signs of sexual interest, making him very oblivious to it all.
Links Goron Tunic and his fusion with Darmani (Goron Mask) makes him nearly impossible to kill with heat and fire, so he doesn't need fire elixirs (Kinda explained in The Child of the Moon story, so I might retell it in this story in a different chapter, even if they are the same Link in the beginning.) thus Dragon Girls, among things, are going to be happy.
Not to be rude, but they made some with the reviews after they made a crap ton of money from adventuring, and when they lost it all from Leprechauns, they went back to adventuring to make more money, so it's not true. If they did make more money from it, they wouldn't have resorted to Adventuring.
I thought the pairing was good, and you aren't wrong with Crim, though his broken Halo I do think played a role in it.
Link missing puberty multiple times, he definitely got fucked over mentally with it.
She did come VERY close to killing them over the Golem episode, so there's that.
Now for some non-review things I want to explain.
Like I said, Link is not immune to the sexual world, he is very oblivious, and due to being raised by children, his puberty fuck up, and living in the woods for most of his teen years, lead to him not understanding others all that well, and he doesn't understand sexual advances, amongst things.
Will Link join the Reviewers? Not as a reviewer, I can say for sure. It doesn't mean they won't drag him into some situations though.
Sernas will have a role in the future, that's for sure. That I can say for sure.
Well, I hope that will answer some questions, and I hope it makes sense, and I hope you enjoy this story!
The walk through the southern forest is so far peaceful. Birds are chirping, animals doing animal things, a man coming at me with a knife.
Well then.
I quickly dodge the man's knife, and hit him across the head with my shield, knocking him down, him holding his head in pain.
Looking closely at the man, he seems to be wearing clothes that look to have seen their better days, Large holes, tears, and parts barely hanging on by a thread. His beard is scruffy looking as if he hasn't maintained it in months, and a crazed look on him, clearly not a friendly person to deal with.
I quickly smack him with my shield, then I slice his throat open, which causes blood to come out, as he drowns by his own blood, before dying.
I sigh and wonder if that would be the only time I deal with that when I start to hear rustling from around me, coming from the deeper in the forest. I then start to hear voices, and one of them yells something out.
"That bastard, he killed Kenny!"
A tougher, more gravelly voice scoffs at him. "You know it was only a matter of time Kenny would die. That man was two balls short of a pair. Besides, he knows we are here thanks to that fool, and you shouting like an idiot. If he didn't kill Kenny, the Boss would have."
"Your right sir. But why are we attacking this guy anyway?"
"That's I will explain later, Samen. For now, lets focus on him." The presumed leader says.
I watch as about thirty guys come out of the forest, all wearing different types of clothing and armor in various state of disrepair. Some of them are human, and some monsters, and the leader looks like the creature I faced off in the Water Temple, just male. Most of them see Kennys corpse, and seem to grin a bit at it. I guess he wasn't that we'll liked.
Fantastic, looks like I won't be avoiding this easily. "All right, what do you guys even want with me?" I ask, slightly annoyed. I am on a quest after all.
The snake-man just looks at me, and chuckles. "Well, since you will be dead soon, I might tell you why. Our Boss wants us to eliminate the outer worlders, especially those who would threaten him. You count as one, thus he wants you dead. Simple as that."
Fantastic. "What, is your leader an Outer Worlder as well?" I ask, voice dripping with sarcasm.
The snek man just looks at me, and laughs. "No! What kind of fool would do order that!" The snake man, as well as his group just laughs at my question. While they are distracted from me, and slowly pull out a bomb, bury it, and ready it for lighting.
"I don't know, maybe a hypocritical, power-hungry idiot who lost most of their intelligence would?" Pretty sure if I could do something with the sarcasm I just spit out, I could use it on baked bread as a topping.
The snake man stops laughing at that, though his chuckles still ring. "Well, I mean you aren't wrong. But it doesn't matter anyway, you will be dead soon enough. Get him, boys." The snake man says, and his group quickly calm down, and launch themselves at me. I quickly light the bomb, and jump over some of the men, and watch them all dogpile on top of the lit bomb.
Before any of them can recover from their collision,
BOOM!
I watch the explosion happen, sending body parts, blood, and organs, assuming any survived, everywhere, and the leader going from noted, to horrified in an instant. Then he gets enraged from it.
"NO! My family! I will kill you!" He screams, pulling out a curved sword and a shield, before slithering at me.
As he takes his first slash at me, I jump to the side, and slashed at the base of his tail, cutting him in half easily. His upper half falls down, blood pooling around him, as his eyes lose the life in them.
I just sigh, what a waste. Killing monsters like Skulltulas for example, is one thing, but killing beings with human levels of intelligence, is different. It's always sad when I have to do it.
I bring the leaders body halfs to the man pile, and set it up in flames. I figure that at least they should go together like that.
After I do all that, it clicks that I just handled a bunch of dead bodies, and I throw up into a nearby bush.
The heat of the moment tends to make you ignore such things, like fear.
After that, I go back to walking down the path with nothing stopping me.
Eventually, the forest starts to shift from, well forest, to a plain area. Just areas of tall grass, plenty of hiding spots, and some bushes. What else is there to say about it?
I walk through it slowly, making sure to not accidentally anger any nearby animals and monsters, as I wish to retrieve these Magma Stones.
I walk about ten minutes when I encounter a... Snake women?
She is about five foot six in height, by length, I would say about ten feet. Her defining traits, are her lack of clothing, making it clear it's a woman, her tail, obviously, and the fact she only has patches of scales, a dark blue coloring, on parts of her human body section. She slithers up to me, and looks right at me, before giving a strange-sounding hiss, and pouncing at me. Her hair is like a strange red green fusion, patches of either color, or just long strands being one of the colors.
I quickly dodge, and smack her head with my shield, living a nice bump up there, and I jump away from her, giving myself some distance in case she decides to use her tail to either trip me up, or wrap it around me.
She rubs her head, clearly in pain, before she looks at me, and snaps her fingers.
I first think she snapped her fingers in disappointment until I start to feel strange, in a way I can't describe, as I never had this feeling before. I try to shake the feeling off, and watch as she slithers her way to me, and I slash the grass around me, making it short, making it harder for her to sneak up to me. I then put more space in-between her and myself, to prevent her from trying anything else.
She stops to look at me, and pouts? What would she be pouting for?
Suddenly I am knocked on my ass, and I see a tail in the color of her scales come back to her, and I quickly attempt to get back on my feet.
She has other plans, and leaps at me, to keep me on the ground, what for, I don't think I want to know. I realize I won't be able to get on my feet in time to dodge, so I roll to the side, avoiding her attempt to pounce on me, and almost miss a scale of her tails land in my tunic.
Much. to my confusion, she does a strange noise, akin to a hiss, and excited scream, and a heavy breath, before I knock her out with a hard smack with my shield.
I consider killing her, but something in me tells me that she, unlike those bandits, wasn't attempting to kill me. I decide not to kill her, as in the end she hasn't, as far as I am aware, tried to kill me or anyone passing by.
I decide to leave her there, and as I decide to leave, I get a strange urge to leave her something. I don't know why, but something in me is telling me to at least give her something, and I don't know why.
I decide to leave her something small of mine, that I do not need. A spare tunic of mine, a green one to be precise. Not like I can't make a dozen new ones, and I don't have at least a dozen of the things, so I leave her with one.
I don't know why I did it, but I guess I wanted to do something nice, even if she tried to attack, well that's a strong word, but I am unsure of what to call it, for some reason. Maybe one day I will understand, but for now, I just move on in my adventure, to get these Magma stones, to deliver them to the person who ordered them.
I remember the scale that went into my tunic, and look in there, and pull out the scale. I just put it in my pouch, figuring I could ask what it could mean to someone if it comes up.
I eventually reach the end of the plain, reaching the beginning of the Volcano Land after four hours of walking, and I see the sun slowly reaching it's end of the cycle, and I sigh. Great, night time is coming, and that means I get to see the moon.
Lovely.
Just what I wanted to think of, something that gives me nightmares, among things, since I went to Termina. At one point, I loved the moon, and everything about it.
Now, I fear it and everything it is connected to, thanks to Majora.
I sigh, and set up camp under a nearby cliff. I set up a little fire, more just for the light, and I relax.
My first true day, not counting my arrival here, and here I am, doing what I always do. Adventure, explore the world, kill monsters, and question if I am even sane still.
I sigh, missing my childhood from before I was forced to become the Hero of Time, the days when I still had my childhood innocence when the most I was concerned about was whether I could move a log of wood or not.
The Navi appeared, and that's when my life spiraled out of control. I don't blame Navi I miss her greatly. While we didn't talk much through our adventure, at least I could tell she cared more about me, than Tatl, who was straight up a bitch.
Thinking of fairies, I wonder if Taget is even still with me-
"HOLY SWEET DIN, FARORE, AND NAYRU, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!"
Never mind, I guess Tagets with me.
"Hey Taget, nice to see you are okay."
Taget flies out of my hat, looking around confused, and slightly panicked.
"Link! Why are we in this land of pure lust!?"
I tilt my head at Taget, confused. "What do you mean Taget?"
Taget seems to turn a darker pink, before floats in front of my face.
"Link, why are we in a world like this, and not in the forest?"
"Uh, I heard a scream for help, and rushed in to help the person?"
"The. why are we in the land still Link?"
"Well, the portal was one way. Once I entered, we can't leave."
Taget just floats in my face, before suddenly falling into my lap, I would guess unconscious.
"Oh. I don't think she liked that."
So, I didn't expect this chapter to be short as it is, but I struggled to get this done and combined with the fact I got my wisdom teeth taken out a few days ago (I mentioned this in a different story I am writing as well) its genuinely a pain to focus, sleep, etc, with the pain.I pushed through, and wrote this chapter, and the chapter for my other story.I hope you enjoy this chapter, and hopefully, the next chapter will be longer, as I don't feel right doing short chapters. I hope you guys have a great day!
EDIT: Minor corrections, and for some reason, some of the formatting was fucked up after I posted it.
