Are animals food or friends? part 3
The second part of the second challenge has begun. Alejandro and Jay are out of the game after overeating. Now the teams had to chase sheep and look for the three tattooed ones in order to win. The foxes had the advantage of a small golf cart, so the ferrets have to step up their game if they don't want to send someone home tonight.
On the foxes' side, Dawn, Beth, and Duncan were on the cart. It was not the fastest vehicle, but at least it was better than running around with a full stomach. The delinquent stopped near a small group of sheep.
"There they are. Now how are we supposed to catch them? Should I try to ram them with the cart?" said Duncan, smirking. He really didn't mean to do that (It was too slow after all), but he wanted to make sure of something.
Dawn glared at him. "Of course not, monster. Let Elisabeth and me attract the sheep, and you shear them." The delinquent chuckled, getting the reaction he was expecting.
"Please call me Beth, everybody does it. When you said Elisabeth, I think you are talking to my mom." Said Beth rubbing her neck.
Dawn smiled and nodded." Of course, Beth. I'm so glad to work with someone polite like you." She then glared at Duncan.
"I like the idea of attracting the sheep without hitting them with the cart. Let me try it." Beth said, leaning forward and calling the sheep. "Sooey, sheepy, sheepy, sheepy, sooey, baa, baa."
The sheep remained unimpressed as Duncan and Dawn looked at Beth, narrowing their eyes.
"Isn't sooey used to call pigs?" said Duncan in a deadpan tone.
Beth smiled sheepishly. "Hehe, yes, it is. My family has a pig farm. I never called a sheep before."
"Please, let me do it," said Dawn, crouching and calling the sheep with her hand. "C'mon my friends, come here. I want to ask you something." Three of the four sheep come closer.
"Do any of you was tattoed on your flank?" said Dawn with a tender voice. One of the sheep bleated in response as if she understood her.
"Did you get intoxicated for eating that veggie steak, midget?" said Duncan raising a side of his unibrow. "It's a damn sheep, it can't understand you."
Dawn only smiled proudly and replied, "I expected that kind of comment from you, But please, shear this little one. And be gentle with her."
Duncan got on a knee and started to shear it. To his surprise, he found the red symbol of the foxes tattooed on the sheep's back.
"What the-?" said Duncan, shocked. He quickly recovered his composure and shrugged. "Whatever, just a lucky guess."
"You call luck anything you don't understand?" said Dawn walking to the last sheep, that didn't answer her call, "You must live in a very-"
"DAWN, WATCH OUT!" shouted Beth interrupting the moonchild. But she was too late. The last sheep's eyes began to flicker with red light, and suddenly it exploded. The force of the impact launched the small girl into the air.
Duncan reacted quickly, catching her but falling to the ground, pushed by explosion's force.
"The foxes found their first sheep, two more, and they win." Chris' voice was heard from the loudspeakers. Laughing at something. Probably the explosion. "Also, I forget to mention. Beware of the sheep. To make the challenge interesting, we mix exploding sheep with the rest of the flock, so if you found one run away."
"What a convenient detail to forget," said Duncan, wincing after being hit by Dawn's body.
"I can't believe we agree on something, *cough*," said Dawn, her clothes and face blackened by the explosion. A small cloud of black smoke coming off her mouth as she coughed.
Beth ran toward them with a concerned expression on her face. "Are you two, ok? Do you want to rest as I look for more sheep?"
"Thanks, Beth, but I am fine," said Dawn standing up, "and Duncan, thanks for saving me."
The delinquent stood up and shake off the dirt from his cloth. "Don't need to thank me, I did it because I wanted."
Dawn shakes the dirt off her head, and the three go into the cart again, to look for more sheep.
Confessional: Dawn
Dawn is sitting with her legs crossed and her hands resting on her knee, frowning at the camera. "Duncan's aura is red-orange, with some greens and shadows. But even if his aura is pretty, his attitude is horrible. He doesn't respect mother nature, he is rude and smells like tobacco. Even then, I'm grateful because he saved me, so I will not curse him," Dawn looked nervously at right and left and added. "Well, at least not from now on."
In the ferrets' side, Amy and Lilly were walking slowly with Brick, looking for some sheep. Brick seemed fine, but the girls move at a sluggish pace with their stomachs bulging.
"If you don't feel well, you could rest here," said Brick, smiling at them. He really cared more about their health than winning the challenge.
Lilly was ready to accept, but Amy talked first. "Thanks, Brick. But we can't rest, not while Jasmine is out there, or she will eliminate me."
Brick raised an eyebrow. "Jasmine? Why would she do that? Something that happened in your season?"
"You don't know her well. She poisoned my sister's mind and put her against me," said Amy looking sadly at the ground, with tears on her eyes.
"Well, it's true you and your sister don't seem to get along. But I never thought it was because of her," said Brick rubbing his chin. It was true that Sammy was more with Jasmine than Amy. Brick didn't know what to say, being weak against the girls' tears.
Amy whimpered and sobbed. "She is only waiting for us to lose the challenge. If only I could get enough votes to eliminate her first."
"Don't worry, Amy, they will not boot you if we fail. I will help you to make up with your sister," said Brick smiling.
"Thanks, Brick, and now Lilly, co- what?" Amy was interrupted by a flock of sheep that passed over her trying to reach Lilly. The redhead was joyfully petting them and humming.
"Are you ok?" said Brick helping Amy stand up, covered in dust.
"Yes, mom. I'm just waiting for Samey again," said Amy, still dizzy after the sheep passed over her.
"Great job Lilly, now let's go and find the others," said Brick, carrying Amy on his back. Lilly and the sheep following them.
Confessional: Lilly
"This challenge is so fun, we don't have to run, and these little friends join us. I only hope they will not pass cold once we take their wool," said Lilly touching her chin, then added. "Also, I wonder why Amy was lying to him about Samey. Because she was lying, right?"
On the foxes' side, Lindsay was looking for the sheep with Lightning. The two walked in silence. They only meet before in one episode of the fifth season, and that time they were on different teams, so they didn't know each other that well. It was until they found some sheep that Lindsay broke the ice.
"Well, any idea on how to guide them to Beth and the others?" said Lindsay, raising an eyebrow.
"Do Lightning looks like a sha-shepherd? The only thing Lightning know about sheep is how to eat them," said Lightning as if it was something obvious.
Lindsay looked at him, smiling, and forgetting about the sheep. "I mean to ask you before, what kind of name is Lightning? I mean, it's a pretty unique name."
"Lightning is not Lightning name. Lightning name is Rudolph, but sha-people call me that because I am powerful and quick as a Lightning, Sha-BAM." said Lightning flexing his arms.
"Hahaha, that's like totally weird. Someone that wants to be called Lightning, but that explains your necklace," said Lindsay, laughing.
The athlete glared at her. "Are you calling Lightning weird?"
"No, I'm not. I think it is totally cute. I would love to have a nickname," said Lindsay showing a natural and beautiful smile.
Lightning kept looking at her. Yes, she was hot, but also kind. And probably the only person with the guts to call him cute.
Lindsay continued talking, oblivious to Lightning thoughts. "But it's a shame. If we had Beth, she would know how to herd them, or JalapeƱo would like charm them with his looks. But we need to think of something that the two of us can do."
"If charm is what's needed. I can also do it," saying this, the athlete took off his shirt, showing his six-pack and his big muscles.
"Hey Sheep, look at this, Sha-nice," shouted Lightning, posing, flexing his arms and showing off his muscles.
The sheep looked at him, confused and nervous because of his loud voice.
"Don't be sha-shy. Come to Lightning!" said Lightning in a louder voice.
The sheep looked at each other, shuddering.
"I SAY COME!" shouted Lightning as he began to run after the sheep. The poor scared animals running away from him as fast as they could.
"Great idea, Lightning. Guide them to the others," shouted Lindsay, walking behind him. Fortunately, she ignored the red-eyed sheep that were not running away.
Confessional: Lindsay
"At first I was like afraid of having to go with Lightning. I mean, he looks intimidating and arrogant. But actually, he is a very nice guy. And that nickname is so easy to remember, I mean Lightning, hihi," said Lindsay, chuckling, "he reminds me a lot of Tyler."
In the ferrets' side, Jasmine's group went after Charlotte, while Brick kept waiting for Amy and Lilly. So Topher decided to go with Dramaman and Max. But the supervillain was walking too slowly after the first challenge, so they left him behind.
"Dramaman, maybe I am wrong, but I think you are also a victim of Chris cruel schemes, isn't it?" said Topher, while looking for the sheep.
The wrestler sighed and face toward the host wannabe.
Topher looked at him, smiling. "I know what are you thinking, 'how does this guy know about it?' It is obvious, you are here as a promotional stunt to sell Total Drama merchandise. I mean, even the greatest fan of the series will not appear on the show dressed as Dramaman. No offense."
The wrestler shrugged and continued walking. In the distance, there were some sheep.
"Ok, but listen to me, if you and I join forces we can win this game and show Chris he messed with the wrong guys. What do you say, are you in?" said Topher, walking carefully behind the wrestler.
Dramaman sighed again and gave thumbs up at the host, who smirked.
"You will not regret this. The first step will be eliminating Jay. After all, we want to reach the merge with as many ferrets as we could. So we need to eliminate the load first," said Topher glaring at the direction of the cabins.
The wrestler nodded and began to get closer to the sheep. He was trembling, but Topher didn't know if it was fear or excitement. The wrestler was about to touch one of the animals. But suddenly, the sheep began to chase after him.
The masked man began to run away from the flock as fast as he could, while Topher, and Max that just catch up with them looked at him, raising his eyebrows.
"What kind of EVIL invention does he used to control the sheep?" Said Max rubbing his chin.
"I don't know. Maybe he is just afraid of them." Topher said, shrugging, "look, he left one behind."
"That's impossible! Look at him. Dramaman is obviously some kind of sentai hero. They fight against EVIL. There is no way he is afraid of the likes of sheep," explained Max, as he followed Topher that was walking toward the last sheep.
"Maybe you are right. That man still keeps a lot of sec-" but before Topher could end his sentence, the eyes of the last sheep began to flicker, and it exploded.
The Chris wannabe was thrown into the air and fell in a nearby tree, blackened and smoke coming out of his dirty clothes.
"I really hate Chris," said Topher before falling unconscious.
"Topher, you are not as useless as I thought! look what you found," said Max, going at the bomb remains as fast as he could. "There is some heavy damage, but some pieces can still be useful."
The supervillain looked at the tree and saw that Topher was knocked out. "Anyway, what you don't know won't hurt you, gwa-ha-ha," he then took all the bomb-sheep remains as he could.
Confessional: Max
"This, this is exactly what my EVIL scheme needed. Now I can begin the next phase of my plan. But for that, I need to get as many sheep bombs as I can find. So forget about the damn challenge, My vengeance is more important, Gwa-ha ha-ugh," Max says at the camera, laughing maniacally until he suddenly stopped, in pain for laughing after overeating.
Returning to the Foxes side. Cody was walking with Zoey and Mike, because Heather ditched him for Courtney. The Codster sometimes couldn't understand the raven-haired girl. Mike was a little ahead, he was watching the grass and tracking the sheep. While Zoey and Cody, with bulged stomaches, followed him.
"Wow, he is a really good tracker," said Cody, looking at Mike moving quickly from one sign to another.
"Yes, he is strong, good-looking, smart, good at tracking and gymnastics, and funny," said Zoey looking at him with sparkling eyes.
"Someone is deeply in love here, eh?" said Cody teasing the redhead.
"Hehe, it's so obvious? Well, when we started dating Mike and me had our problems, like any other couple. But since we won the million dollars, he became more confident, and we are doing better than ever," said Zoey making a fist pump and smiling.
"That sounds great," said Cody, "you make a power couple."
After that words, Zoey stopped walking, as if Cody had hit her in the head with a stone.
"Zoey? Hey, Zoey! are you ok?" Shouted Cody, scared.
Zoey shook her head and get a hold of herself. Then look at him with a forced smile, "huh? Sorry Cody, I got distracted."
Cody looked at her raising an eyebrow. "No problem. But are you sure you are ok?"
"Hey, I found some sheep." Mike shouted, interrupting the conversation.
"Let's go, Cody," said Zoey excitedly, running to Mike as fast as she could.
Cody watched at her. He was still curious about what happened early but decided to drop the subject, at least for now.
Mike was behind some bushes looking at a flock of 7 or 8 sheep. He was pondering how to guide them to Dawn and the others.
Cody whispered at his two teammates. "Well, sheep tend to follow the lead sheep. So we can try to guide one of them with us."
"That's a great idea, man, let's give it a try," said Mike smiling.
Cody raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you knew it already?"
"I know how to hunt animals, not how to herd them. Sorry about that," said Mike rubbing his arm.
Zoey glared at the brunette guy. "Cody, don't be so harsh to Mike. He is doing his best effort."
"I didn't mean it like that. Sorry, Mike." Cody said, in a low voice, trying to not scare the sheep.
Mike gaze at Zoey for a moment before replying. "Don't worry. Now let's do this."
After taking a deep breath, Mike went out of the bushes and put his hands over his mouth. Then he began to bleat, sounding like a sheep.
The sheep looked at him and started to follow him slowly. Cody and Zoey walking behind them.
The group found Duncan, Dawn, and Beth after a while, who were also looking for more sheep.
Mike waved at them and shouted. "Hey! Dawn, Duncan. We found some sheep."
Beth looked upset at the ground. "I am also here, you know, right." But she was too far away, and nobody paid attention to her.
While this drama happened, Duncan looked at Dawn."Great, now Midget, do your trick."
"My name is Dawn, please stop calling me that," said Dawn glaring at the delinquent.
"Hahaha, Dawn? Really? Your name is Dawn? Your parents are hippies, right Dawn?" said Duncan, laughing.
"And your parents are cousins, right?" replied Dawn, making Mike, Zoey, Beth, and Cody laugh. Duncan just shrugged, accepting his defeat this time.
Then they felt the ground trembling, from the other side of the field a flock of sheep was running scared from a shirtless Lightning, who was shouting behind them.
Dawn walked quickly to try to calm them. "Please don't be afraid, that man is gone. He is not there anymore. Stop running and come with me. Please, don't be afraid."
Beth, hearing Dawn's words, ran toward Lightning to stop him. "Good job, bringing the sheep, Lightning. Now please come with me to find Linds." The brunette girl wanted to move Lightning away, so he didn't scare the sheep.
"Thanks ugl-, Lightning means whatever your name is. Let's go and find Lindsay," said the Jock, posing and going back his way
"My name is Beth," said Beth as she walked behind the athlete.
"Well, as soon as Midget finds the correct one, we start shearing them," said Duncan, smirking.
Zoey looked at him with a quizzical smile. "And how will she find out which ones are tattoed?"
"Asking them," replied Duncan nonchalantly.
"Ah! of course," said Zoey with a forced smile. It was not the answer she expected.
Confessional: Zoey
"Ok, maybe I have exaggerated a little about Mike. Yes, he is wonderful, and this last year was a fairytale. Also, his uncles are great people, and my parents love him. But I am afraid, afraid that something is happening again and I don't realize it. So this time, I will be proactive and keep watching and protecting Mike before something bad happens. I mean, I am his future wife, is the least I can do," said Zoey smiling joyfully at the camera.
On the ferrets' side, Jasmine went ahead of Sammy, Shawn, and Sky. At last, she found the gamer, who was looking at some sheep from afar.
"Hey, Charlotte! Why did you run away like that?" said Jasmine glaring at the e-gamer.
"Oh, it's you, Jasmine! I get ahead because those noobs will only slow us down. It's better to ditch them and win this in single-player mode," said Charlotte. Then she turned her attention again at the sheep.
"Of course not! We are a team, and this challenge requires a lot of coordination. We can't track all this field alone," said Jasmine putting a hand on her own hip.
Charlotte looked at her raising an eyebrow. "But those casuals are not interested in playing the game. You can't win a team game if your team sucks," said the e-gamer, shaking her head.
"If you don't give them a chance, there is no way they can prove themselves to you. You're only conceited because you're good, but believe me, here being good is not enough. In your games, you don't need teamwork?" Said Jasmine raising an eyebrow.
"You won this round, I'm sorry," Charlotte had her pride, but Jasmine words were just like the ones from her mentor, so she decides to accept them.
"Well, then help me to hunt those sheep, look at them, the second to the left it has a tattoo on her back," said Jasmine looking at the sheep grazing just in front of them.
Charlotte looked at the Aussie with wide eyes, "How do you know that?" She didn't saw any difference between that sheep and the rest of the flock.
"Look carefully, the wool of that is shorter than the rest. They probably don't prepare the challenge with enough time, so the marked ones don't have time enough to recover their wool," said Jasmine, with a wide smile.
Charlotte looked at her rival in silence, well, at least she acknowledges Jasmine as her rival. "Well, I will get it."
"Alright. The best way is that you go around and walk toward her, so she runs away from you toward me. We need to keep her calm because if it gets nervous, it will be impossible to shear it," explained Jasmine.
"Ok, let's go with your plan," said Charlotte, as she snaked around the sheep, to try to get them.
The e-gamer walked quickly toward her target. The animal started to run away in Jasmine's direction. The survivalist crouched and opened her arms, talking to the sheep.
"C'mon, come here, come here," said Jasmine hugging the sheep in one swift movement. The animal seemed like a lamb at the side of the huge woman. "Now let me cut all that wool from you," after a moment, the green ferret tattoo was visible on the sheared sheep.
Charlotte gave a high five to Jasmines as a too-familiar voice was heard in the speakers.
"The ferrets had found their first sheep, the score is now 1-1. It seems like we will get an exciting finish," said Chris, then he started to laugh, "Hahaha, or not. The foxes had found their second and third sheep, so it's OVER. The FOXES win the challenge, enjoy your afternoon. FERRETS, let meet tonight at the campfire for your first elimination ceremony."
"That's not fair, it was my fault," said Charlotte, not expecting the foxes to win this quickly.
"It's fine, mate, it's nobody fault," said Jasmine, "Now let's go back with the others."
Confessional: Jasmine
The survivalist is sitting, leaning forward, so her face is visible to the camera. "Well, it sucks we lose, but it was not so bad. That Charlotte seems like a good matey, and I was surprised by Topher's reaction at the first challenge. It seems this time he really wants to win. Anyway, we need to choose someone to send home, and I know exactly who will be."
After the end of the challenge, Max was in the woods, sitting on the floor behind a tree. He was examining some sheep-bomb remains, keeping those parts that are still useful.
"Yes, YES! This is exactly what I needed, Gwa-ha-ha! Soon I will be ready to enact my vengeance," said Max in an excited voice.
"Wow, congratulations! Sorry if I don't cheer and clap. But my stomach still hurts after eating that steak," said a female voice, startling the supervillain.
Max was white as a sheet, but after discovering who she was, he glared at her. "You are the twin with the mole. Twin with the mole, how dare you to scare me like that! You are lucky I am in a great mood, or I could have destroyed you for that insolence."
Amy needed all her self control to not beat up Max for shouting at her like that. "Listen to me, Max. First, I didn't want to startle you. Second, it is not a mole, is a beauty mark. And third, my name is Amy, so use it, or I will kick you so hard that you will sing like a soprano for a week."
Max nodded, discreetly protecting his crotch, "Well, I am not afraid of you or your empty threats. What do you want, AMY?"
The older twin sighed and counted from one to ten before answering. "We made an Alliance the other day, remember? The axis of EVIL? Because they want to eliminate you," explained Amy. Lilly, who was some steps behind her, chuckled as the twin said EVIL in the same voice that Max used.
"It's true. You are my loyal sidekicks. Well, as we agree, we will vote together. But before that, I need one of you to stay here and help me with my scheme," said Max tapping his fingers together.
Amy rolled her eyes. "Ok, Lilly will stay here and help you."
"I will?" said Lilly, in a low but surprised voice.
"Yes, you will, I have another business to attend. Only hear him ramble until he is tired," whispered Amy, Max folding his arms and tapping with his foot while waiting to know which girl will stay.
Lilly sighed and nodded. "I will stay Max, I hope I can be of help with your evil scheme."
"Thanks, Lilly," whispered Amy going back to the cabins.
"All right sidekick. Now come here. I will explain what I need you to do," said Max taking out the lamb pieces. "And don't think about seducing me. I know I am charismatic, but right now, I don't have time for relationships."
Lilly nodded and blinked, confused. She was not sure if Max was joking or not.
But they were not aware that someone else was hearing them from the shadows.
Confessional: Charlotte
"It seems that evil Samey, the girly girl and mid-boss are in an alliance. It doesn't matter because their guild doesn't have enough members to make a difference. But it will be for the best to keep an eye on them. I mean, as a team member," said Charlotte, chuckling.
On the camp, the foxes were celebrating their victory, at least tonight they will not send someone home. Courtney was sitting in the stairs of her cabin, pondering all that happened today. Including her conversation with Heather when both were alone during the challenge.
"You seem to be closer again to that jerk?" said Heather, walking slowly as she still had some stomachache.
"What are you talking about?" asked Courtney, who was looking for sheep, and the question caught her by surprise.
Heather glared at her. "You are talking a lot with him, did you forget what he did?"
"No, I would never forget about it. But that is a private matter between Duncan and me. So please stay out of it," said Courtney trying to settle the issue.
"Courtney, I know it's a private matter. But please, think with your head, not with your heart. He is just using you," said Heather before walking ahead.
Courtney left out a sigh, as much as she hated to accept it, Heather was right. Yes, Duncan's apology surprised her. But should she trust him again? And what if the trust becomes something else? It seemed impossible, but she knew she already fell for him once.
Her train of thought was interrupted by exactly the person she didn't want to see right now.
"What a long face, princess. Are you sad because we are no eliminating someone tonight?" said Duncan smirking.
"Go away, Duncan, I am not in the mood to put up with you," said Courtney, resting her folded arms in her knees and her head in her arms.
Duncan looked at her with wide eyes. "Wow, what did I do? I thought we were getting along." He was surprised by the change in Courtney's attitude.
"Well, you were mistaken, I told you that I don't trust you, remember?" said the L.I.T, not raising her head.
Duncan smirk disappeared and asked in a serious voice. "And what should I do to regain your trust?"
"That is something you have to figure by yourself," replied Courtney. It was a lie. Right now, even she didn't know if the delinquent could do something to earn her trust again.
"Ok, don't worry. I will earn your trust and keep my promise to you. Just wait," said Duncan smirking and walking away.
"I'm not worried about it, idiot," said Courtney, more confused than before.
Confessional: Duncan
Duncan is smirking with a cigar on his mouth, giving it a puff before expelling smoke from his nose, some escaping from his piercing. "Well, I knew it will not be that easy. Also, Mom, you were right, I will invite you to dinner when I get home. Well, if they don't censor this in the actual show," said Duncan smiling and giving another puff to his cigar.
At the same moment in the cave where the Kinosewak used as their cabin, Sammy, Jasmine, Shawn, and Sky were talking.
"I think this is private enough, good idea Shawn," said Jasmine, sitting in some rocks.
"hu-hum," reply Shawn, nodding. He didn't know that Sky would be here and didn't like the idea.
"Well, today our team lose, but we can take advantage of this situation," said Jasmine, looking at the three, "so I called you here talk about it."
Sammy joined her hand, pleading to them ."Please, please, we must vote for Amy. Before she can trick other players into voting with her,"
"Wait a moment. I know you don't like your sister. But in today's challenge, she at least tried. We should eliminate first Jay or Max, that are our worst players," said Sky, frowning worried at Sammy.
Sammy sighed, folding her arms. "You don't know my sister Sky. She is evil, mean, and wants to take revenge for eliminating her in the last season. It's for the best to take her down early."
"But voting her out only for that is not fair. We should vote for people because they are a load to the team or their impact on the challenge. Not for personal reasons," answer Sky, not liking the idea of voting Amy out just for being Sammy's sister.
"I hear enough. I don't believe we will reach an agreement, so I'm going first before I say something we may regret. Don't worry, I will vote for Amy," said Shawn, standing up, adjusting his torque.
Sky knew he was saying that for her, and tired of his attitude, she decided to confront him."What do you mean by that, Shawn? If you have a problem with me, tell me, and stop acting like that."
"Sky stop, I don't think it is-" begin Jasmine before being interrupted by Shawn.
"Sorry, Jas, but it's ok, I wanted to do this from some time now, you know what my problem is? You are my problem, two-faced Jezebel. Maybe everyone else forgot about what you did to Dave, but not me. I can't trust you," said Shawn, his face cold as stone.
Sky blanched, and her eyes went wide, she didn't suspect that Shawn grudge was about that, "Dave? Are you holding a grudge against me because what happened to Dave?"
"Of course I am! You lead him all the game. He was head over heels for you. Damn it! He even eliminated himself when he could have eliminated you. And his reward? That you were using him, having a boyfriend all the time," said Shawn stomping his foot at the ground.
"I tried to tell him about Keith, and he just didn't listen to me. And also, how can you defend him when he tried to kill you?" replied Sky, angered by Shawn constants attacks.
"Kill me? When? When he used the island to attack us? That was Chris' orders, and Jasmine also did it. Or you mean the avalanche at the end that YOU caused in which we almost died," shouted Shawn glaring at her, "you are almost as bad as the zombies, lying and posing a good girl while using him just because he was attracted to you."
"Shawn, STOP," shouted Jasmine. "Whatever happened is in the past, and it was a problem between Dave and Sky. You are just talking like those ignorants that send hate mail to her because of what happened."
The Cree girl looked distressed, with tears on her eyes. Sammy walked and hug her, while Shawn turned away.
"You wanted to hear me, there you have it. I am sure you don't care, but Dave never came back from this island after we left him. He may be around here somewhere, and I will find him," said Shawn before leaving the cave.
Sky stay there, biting the interior of her mouth while hugging Sammy, she used all her strength to don't cry, but the tears rolled down her cheeks. What Shawn said was the same everybody said, none caring about how she felt or what her true feelings were.
Confessional: Sammy
"I knew that Shawn didn't like Sky, but wow, that was completely shocking. But Sky is my friend, so I know that there is an explanation to all that happened, and I am sure Shawn will understand it," said Sammy with a sad smile on her face, "or at least I hope so."
In the infirmary, Jay entered the room from the window. After feigning his stomachache, he went to do some skateboarding. Sadly the terrain on the island is not good to skate, except the port or the front of the cabins. But he couldn't go there because he was supposed to be resting in the infirmary.
Jay looked at Alejandro, who was sleeping peacefully. So he hid his skateboard and lay on his bed when he was startled by a female voice.
"Welcome back. I was waiting for you," said Amy, sitting in a chair on the infirmary, reading an old fashion magazine.
"You scared me! What are you doing here?" Jay took a moment to look at the twin-face, "Amy."
"Please don't be so loud, this is not the kind of conversation you want our hot Latin friend to hear," said the twin pointing at Alejandro, "I wanted to make a deal with you."
Jay sighed and looked at her with a sad expression. "Sorry, girl. But I'm not interested. You may be sassier than Sammy, but you also are more meanspirited. So I'm sorry, but I can't date you."
Amy rolled her eyes. Why must everyone around her be an idiot? "Sorry to hear that, you are so handsome and smart. I can't believe you are not dating someone already."
"There had been some problems, but I'm sure at least your sister is already interested in me. So it's just a matter of time," said Jay showing a confident smile.
Amy winced at the thought, but composed herself and continued with her plan. "Truly? That's a shame because I think your time on the island is over."
"What do you mean?" said Jay shocked, "I mean, we lost today, but surely I am not the worst player on the team."
"It's true, but some people, like Topher, suspect that you feign your sickness to not help in the second part of the challenge. And for what I see, they are not totally wrong," said Amy, enjoying Jay's distress.
"I can't leave the island yet, I haven't kissed even one girl. Sammy's sister, can I kiss you?" said Jay, sweating, his eyes smaller from the fear.
Amy tried to not laugh at him. "Calm Down. I have an idea that can help you stay on the island. But you must do what I said,"
Jay nodded silently and heard Amy talking, while Alejandro, who was not really sleeping, also listens to her plan.
Confessional: Alejandro
"I'm surprised! That Amanda, with some guidance, can become a second Heather. That's why if she reaches the merge, we will have to eliminate her swiftly." Alejandro said, giving a thumbs down at the camera.
The 12 ferrets are sitting in the same stumps that some nights ago were using the foxes. In front of them were standing Chris, looking at them with an impish smile and holding a plate with 11 marshmallows.
"Well done, I thought you will be visiting this place earlier. Anyway, good job losing that eating challenge even with an advantage. That needs a high level of incompetence," said Chris chuckling.
The campers groaned, but nobody replied at the host.
"No responses? That's cold. Well, I hope you become more talkative after I end giving you these marshmallows. These marshmallows are your lifeline, but sadly there are only 11 of this and 12 of you, so one of you will leave the island tonight and can't come back. EVER" said Chris, showing the marshmallows.
"Now you have to go and using this small touchpad, choose the camper you want to vote off the island. You go and vote in that small voting cabin. Don't worry, the votes are recorded, so there is no way to rigging it," explained Chris.
"Except if we hack into your fancy computer," said Charlotte, smirking.
"Well yes, but fortunately, DAM will be storing this information, and that computer is completely hacking proof. So now go and vote for your least favorite campers," said Chris, winking at the e-gamer.
The 12 ferrets went into the cabin to vote for the camper that will be eliminated this night
Vote confessional: Topher
"I told you, you are out. We need a team that wants to win," said Topher pressing the button in his pad.
Vote confessional: Sammy
"I really hoped for you to go back as the old you, but that's impossible. Bye, bye, Amy," said Sammy, with a sad smile pressing her button.
Vote confessional: Charlotte
"Well, you deserve it. Now, this is interesting, I don't care what does Chris said, no system is 100% hacking proof, I know better than anyone," said Charlotte chuckling.
"Ok, campers, you have made your choice, it was interesting, but as you know this is not a democracy, this is Tyranny of the masses, so the most voted will go home," said Chris chuckling.
"That joke is terrible, so please spare us to hear it again," said Topher, as the rest of the ferrets nodded.
"You are too bitter for your age. Ok, no more jokes. The next campers are safe from elimination, Sky, Shawn, Topher, Lilly, and the one and only Dramaman," Chris send the marshmallows, all catch them, but Lilly had to use both hands, and even then, almost drop it.
"Also, Brick, Charlotte, Max, Sammy, and Jay, you are safe," said Chris throwing marshmallows to each player. Topher glaring at the skater, Sammy, and Sky looking incredulous at Amy and Jasmine.
"And now, there is only 1 marshmallow, and 2 campers, Amy, you are always fighting with your sister. Jasmine, honestly, I wanted to come with some reason to vote you out, but you were your team best player, so I am as surprised as you," said Chris shrugging.
Jasmine had her arms folded with confident expression but was tapping her finger, and Amy was smiling smugly.
"And the last marshmallow of the night is for"

"Amy."
Amy took the marshmallow and swiftly eat it.
"Nooo!" shouted Sammy while Shawn held Jasmine's hand.
"Sorry, but it is correct. Jasmine is time to say your goodbyes," said Chris enjoying the show.
"Dudes, are you serious? I can't believe you voted her out, you make me sick," said Jay, leaving the ceremony area.
"Jay is right, are you crazy? She is the best of us, well-played morons," said Charlotte, also leaving the place.
"Amy, you did this, right? I don't know how you did it, but it must be you," said Sammy, poison spitting from her tone.
"Believe what you want, Samey," said Amy in a cold tone, turning away from her sister and smirking.
Jasmine held her friend by the shoulder and give her a hug. "Sammy, stop, it's done. I also hate it, but my time has come."
"Jasmine, what I will do without you?" said Sammy hugging her best friend.
"Show them how much you have grown up. I will be watching over you, and you have Shawn and Sky. You will be fine," said Jasmine, trying to not cry.
"This is so moving, but times over. So please, Jasmine, put the vest of failure," said Chris, giving a custom bigger vest to the survivalist.
Jasmine put the harness over his clothes, the metal ring also being almost half a meter over her head.
"I will win for you," said Shawn, kissing her
Jasmine nodded and held his hands. "I know you will. But please, Shawn, do me a favor and at least listen to Sky's side of the story. Even if you don't forgive her."
And suddenly, Jasmine was taken away by the Chopper of shame separating them. Shawn instinctively tried to grab her as she was taken away, screaming.
"Well, I am glad there were no problems. I mean she is so tall that we were afraid about the picking up of the vest," said Chris winking at the camera.
"An that's all from today's episode, but what will happen next? Will Shawn listen to Sky excuses? Will Samey take her revenge from her sister, and more importantly, will she find out who truly vote for Jasmine? And there was some steak left for me to dine tonight? This may or may not answered on the next exciting episode of Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses.
Author Notes:
And there she goes, Do you know who voted for Jasmine? Now the ferrets are at a disadvantage without their best player.
This challenge was fun to write, but it was quite hard to make it thrilling, so it ended a bit short, so I compensate with the intrigue during the voting. I hope you like it. Now there are only 22 players left.
