Guest: haha, I've never gotten a review asking for more torture. I remember I watched that episode on the couch on my computer and my mom was there and heard all the screaming and was like "tf are you watching?"

purpleOPlover: Yeah. Poor Luffy. But more shit is to come, very different stuff but still miserable for our baby boy.

Kae Membrama: Thank you! I'm glad you like it a lot. Yeah the roller coaster isn't a fun one lol. At least not for Luffy or Hawks. Maybe for us it is a fun one (I know it was fun to write).

So I have two other crossovers for different series, and don't know which one to edit and post first. One is a crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen and the main characters are Satoru and cute, OP kid Luffy (who suffers a bit, of course) and the other is for Avatar: The Last Airbender and features Ace, Thatch, Marco and Zuko where Ace goes through some shit and then is loved by others and grows happy. Then there's a mystery, because of course I couldn't make him human lol.

Which one would you all like for me to post first? JJK one is shorter than the ATLA one.

The next day, Luffy took a bath for the first time in 7 years. His wings weren't there anymore to make him have no room. He would still rather have his wings than being able to take a bath, but it was relaxing nonetheless. Hawks was at work because Luffy asked to have alone time to recover. He was hesitant, but ultimately did so.

Tokoyami was there today. Everybody knew about the League getting caught, and Luffy got a lot of texts from his friends, asking for details since they weren't known on the news, just that Luffy brought the League to the hero agency, turning them in and giving his story that wasn't made public.

Everybody was painfully curious but Luffy was told not to tell anyone yet. Once the hero society deemed it okay to tell the story, then they would say it, not Luffy. After his bath, he got out and dried off, turning around to look at his back that he then brought Hawks' wings out of.

He hadn't seen that sight in a long time. It didn't hurt at all, to have bones protrude from his back and breaking the skin. It was how it was supposed to be. Luffy had to go get his new quirk nerves severed. He was thankful he got the new ones in that moment as it saved him, but he didn't want them. He wouldn't use them, so what was the point in having them?

He'd talk to Hawks about it sometime soon. Maybe not today, but some time soon. He put the wings back away and put a shirt on, still with the hole in the back. He wondered when he could go back to school. He had no wing to heal anymore. He didn't know if he was mentally ready to go back to school, but it was better than doing nothing or aimless things by himself at home.

Luffy had been captured on camera with Hawks' wings, confusing the public. Todoroki was the only one who knew about why he had Hawks' wings. He texted him and gave him his condolences over his other wings, which Luffy then told him they were gone for good and all he were Hawks'.

He went to the bathroom again after playing with Merry for a bit, who was blissfully unaware of the sadness that Luffy held in his heart. He winced, trying to bring out his blue wings. All he got were ugly, ragged scars that weren't there before. He sucked the damaged bases back in and replaced them with Hawks'.

The feathers to control were cool, but that was Hawks' thing and he wasn't going to steal that. He would use them for flight only. He texted Hawks he was going on a flight. "Be careful. If there are any nomus, get out of there as fast as possible.

I will.

Luffy doubted there would be any nomus after him with the League not there to command them to do anything. They didn't respond to anyone but their leaders. Those in prison were never able to pay attention or do a thing other people said. And the nomu that they had at the end changed loyalties once they were all helpless.

He grew the new wings and turned invisible before opening the window door and then closing it, flying off and away above the press below. He saw Hawks politely trying to get them to leave since they needed to work. He was very patient and reasonable, but the press wasn't stopping. Luffy laughed when he finally had enough and used his feathers to get the press far from the area and down the streets.

Then he went on his way, flying with the lighter wings. They weren't as wide as his had been, and he didn't like that they were identical to Hawks', but they functioned for him, and that was what mattered most. He didn't have to use the power of the feathers. So he wouldn't.

Hawks was nice enough to say it didn't bother him that Luffy used his wings now. He said it wouldn't bother him in the first place, but especially not since he had them forcibly stolen. Ripped away once on one wing and twice on the other. "I'm sorry," he said when he thought too hard about how he didn't keep his wings safe. Luffy let them be destroyed. He wouldn't make the same mistake this time.

He landed on the tallest building in the country and looked down below, taking his glasses off and enjoying the breeze, a little chilly on the hole in his shirt and jacket. The rest of him was in pants, boots and a hoodie. But the chill wasn't a big deal. He could heat his body up just fine, and did so.

He looked at the blue flames on his fingers, despising them. How many people had burnt to death with these flames? How many people had been dissolved by Shigaraki's ability? He couldn't wait to get them to go away, even if they'd come back every two months. But now there were 26 extra quirks. They'd get painful quicker this way, he had no doubts.

After staying up on the building for a good hour, he got a call from Hawks. He was checking in on him, if he was safe. Luffy didn't like worrying him like this. "I'm fine. I'm on the roof of Harukas," Luffy replied. "Nothing suspicious."

"Okay. Stay alert."

"Will do."

Once the conversation was over and the call disconnected, Luffy laid on his back, legs hanging over the edge, looking up at the blue sky. It hurt his eyes a bit, so he closed them. So much had happened in just a little over a week. Too much had happened. He wanted to go back to school. But would people stare at him for two reasons now?

His overpowered quirk and ending the reign of terror by the League? He could deal with one, but not the other. He opened his wings out, looking at them in irritation before he saw the tiny blue tips of the feathers. His eyes widened and he looked closer at the feathers. They were the color of his own wings.

Even if the color changed, these were still Hawks' wings, but it might make him feel like less of a copycat. "So strong. You're so strong," he said to his dead quirk that was somehow fighting back, even if it was only to change the color back. He stayed up there for a bit and saw that the feathers shed a lot more than he thought. He plucked a feather and it grew back, luckily.

He heard someone open the door that led to the roof and dropped down off of the edge, turning invisible and flying away. The guy ran to the edge, and Luffy saw him lean forward too far and fall. Luffy sped forward and picked him up in his arms before letting him down on the ground.

Luffy had been invisible during that. "Th-Thank you!" he shouted to Luffy, who he couldn't see. He was shaking, terrified after falling to what could have been his death. He would have plattered if he hit the ground from the top of the tallest building in the country.

"You're welcome," he said, a disembodied voice. Though he could probably recognize Luffy's voice from the interview everybody had seen.

Later that day he saw a story about it. It was a Twitter post that gained traction. He didn't look at it. Everyone knew he could turn invisible now, but it didn't change much. Just them knowing wouldn't make him visible to everybody. And he didn't regret saving the guy. It didn't change much, so he wasn't upset about it.

When Hawks came back, he said he was glad Luffy had saved that guy, even though it exposed that he was using another power. "Even if they get upset about it, I have Hagakure's permission. I want to go back to school. Doing nothing all day isn't helping. I want homework and stuff to study for. Aizawa has been really nice and suspended work while I was gone, but I want to get back as soon as possible."

"Are you sure?" Hawks asked, probably concerned over his mental state, not his physical. Luffy had bags under his eyes most days. He nodded, saying he wanted to try and get back to a normal life. "Okay, I understand."

"Thanks."

-x-

Hawks flew with him to school, Luffy's feathers not turning blue anymore, but mixing into a deep purple, like the red color of the feathers was mixing with the new blue, as if it were ink. He didn't care if it was purple or blue, he just didn't want it to be red. He didn't go on campus with Luffy, but dropped him off at the far wall.

"Thanks. I'll see you later," Luffy said with a strained smile. Hawks nodded, wishing him a good day. Luffy nodded and turned invisible before flying to his homeroom and opening the window from the outside, crawling inside and absorbing his wings before not being invisible anymore.

Iida was in there and jumped when he saw Luffy, startled before he rushed over and hugged him. It was awkward, but Luffy put his back before Iida realized they were gone, and moved around to look at his back.

"I'm so sorry," Iida said sincerely. Luffy made a strained smile and brought out Hawks' wings, Iida looked in shock and awe as he watched the wings easily come out of his back.

"They're not my wings, but it's better than nothing," Luffy said and pulled them back in. Other students filtered in and surrounded Luffy, asking how he was, saying they missed him and were so happy he was better. Sero asked where his wings were. What happened to them.

Nobody knew the story of how Luffy was taken and tortured. "The League destroyed more original wings. They won't grow back anymore. I have an emergency pair, Hawks' wings." He brought them out again, showing the purple and red wings. He pulled them back in once again. They were angry and upset with the League.

"What… what happened?" Kirishima asked. "About the League."

Luffy sat down, weird that he had more room on the seat without wings. Everything felt strange without them and would take awhile to get used to. "A nomu broke into the house, through the vent, sucked me into it's body and brought me to Niigata. Tried to torture me." He pulled his pant leg to show the discolored leg. "This is from Shigaraki continuously dissolving my leg.

"The other wounds are gone but this one isn't leaving," Luffy explained. They asked him how he took them out. "I pretended to take another quirk suppressant so when they were asleep I broke out of the restraints and used their quirks against them until they couldn't move. It was pretty brutal, but I couldn't help it after they destroyed my wings. I used Mr. Compress's quirk to take them to the nearest hero agency."

They all were so happy the League was gone and they could live in peace again. Luffy nodded. "I got the nomu on camera if you want to see what happened," he said, wanting to share his horrible experience with others. They nodded and Luffy brought it up but muted it so they didn't hear his screaming at the end.

They watched the windows get slammed by the watery substance that formed into the huge black nomu that banged on the window before Luffy turned the camera to the ceiling vent, which didn't take long for it to form into the nomu after the liquid dripped into the house. That was when Luffy dropped the camera that showed just a little bit of his leg getting sucked in and then there was nothing else.

"Oh my god," Yaoyorozu said in horror.

"Yeah, it was pretty scary. But the windows were made out of this," he said, pointing to his glasses. "They didn't break, but the vents were less secure. The whole thing was a nightmare," he finished, putting his phone back in his pocket. Aizawa came in and everyone sat down. He said he was glad Luffy was back.

He didn't say a thing about Luffy's wings being gone, which Luffy was glad of. It seemed that the League being captured had, at least for now, attracted more attention than of Luffy's powers. Aizawa said they had an assembly to talk about what will happen to the League of Villains, since our classes were attacked twice.

"Gather outside in ten minutes," he said, and left. Luffy didn't fly this time, and walked with them outside to the lawn.

"Hagakure, thank you for giving me permission to use your quirk," Luffy said honestly. She said she was happy to help. "Oh, I have other news. My quirk nerves grew back. I had to have more surgery. And now that I have 6 other quirks, I have 26 too much. It'll be a bimonthly thing."

The others frowned and glared, saying way too much bad shit had happened to him in two weeks. Luffy internally agreed, but didn't say anything aloud. People stared in the hallways but got glares and snarls from the guys in the class, making them look away. The only person who had said nothing was Bakugo. He didn't even glare at him after finding out about his overpowered quirk.

Maybe he felt pity for Luffy, he didn't know. Iida asked how Hawks was during all of this. "He was really stressed this whole time. I feel bad for making him stressed, but he says he's not mad and it's not my fault. He also doesn't care about me sharing his wings, even if they're changing colors."

"Hawks is a good man. Seeing your reactions to his speech was really funny, though. Like you were the adult in the situation and your kid was being a brat," Ojiro said in amusement. Luffy smiled and said that's what it felt like. Said he even told him ahead of time not to do anything stupid. They laughed.

Tokoyami said that Hawks was indeed a good man, entertaining as well. "But it is strange having him be so laid back. It really wasn't what I was expecting as the number 2 hero." Luffy grinned and said it was much more fun than being with Endeavor. Who ignored him most of the time.

Some of the others said they wished they could intern with Hawks, too. Luffy chuckled and said that probably wouldn't happen. They pouted, but didn't insist.

When they were in the formation for the assembly, there was a speech by Nezu telling everyone that, though the League of Villains was apprehended and the nomus were nowhere to be found, the students still must be aware of their surroundings at all times. "I'm sorry we still have to stress you, but it is for added protection and safety for yourselves.

"But for now, we will be having a barbeque party on Saturday to celebrate the joyous moment and the fact that villains who have caused you stress are behind bars, and unable to walk even if they could get out."

Everyone looked at Luffy, who kept a straight face and looked forward. But they weren't looks of suspicion or anger like he thought they would be, after his quirk was discovered. They were relieved and thankful expressions. They were happy he'd stopped the villains. And Nezu was right; unless they could learn to fly or regrow limbs, they would never walk again.

After the assembly, Luffy flew away before he was glomped with everyone thanking him or hugging him. He flew back to the classroom and waited for the others, once again going through the window to not have to pass anybody in the halls, teachers or students. He got a text from Hawks.

How are you doing?

Okay. Nobody is mad at me, and everyone is being nice and understanding.

That's great!

Yeah. We had an assembly where Nezu announced the fact that the League is gone. I didn't feel proud at all, though. I feel like I should, but I just don't.

It's not surprising. Capturing them came with a horrible trade off. I got calls asking for you to be awarded a medal for serving the country by eliminating a dangerous group, but I turned them down for now, saying maybe later.

Thanks. I don't want to be on camera right now or in front of a huge crowd.

That's why I turned them down for you.

Luffy smiled and texted him that he had to go since the teacher and students were back. Hawks said he'd see him after school. Luffy had no make up homework, which was strange. He missed so much school. His head fell and he asked Aizawa if he would be behind without making up work.

"No, you are exempt from the school work you missed. Even if you ask for it, nobody will give it."

"Why?"

"What you went through needs mental healing, and burdening you with what you missed will not help at all. Living with Hawks, I'm sure he's told you how important it is to take care of yourself. If you're starting work studies again, you can't be distracted by other things like a mountain of school work," he explained. Luffy sighed but nodded.

They all got in their hero costumes for hero basic training, his outfit not matching with his wings anymore. It went with the blue the most, not this deep purple. All Might was having it be an easy day, relaxed as the atmosphere should be that while celebrating the end of the League of Villains.

He never mentioned Luffy's ordeals, which he appreciated. It would be an obstacle course without using their quirks. Luffy would be fine limiting his strength to an above average person, but not extremely fast anymore.

They were being timed, and the obstacle course was long, all the way around ground beta. They were in a line, as it wasn't a race but a competition. When someone was halfway through, the next would be begin.

They were surprised when Luffy didn't pull his wings out. He was second, Bakugo first, and made his way through the tough course, a lot of cardio needed with a pull up that would be hard for some of the weaker students. There were obstacles where you had to duck under swinging, padded poles that would knock out of the ring, which would erase a full minute of your over all time.

Luffy made it easily, sweating only a little bit as he ran through the chilly air. He was much lighter without his wings, but it still felt wrong, off, unnatural. He hated it. When he made it out, it was four minutes and three seconds.

It was almost completely tied with Bakugo. He had four minutes exactly. He beat Luffy, but he couldn't bring himself to care. He went and stood in the back of the crowd, watching the TV showing the people taking part when they were doing their own obstacle course. From the back, he attempted to pull out his own wings and touched them, only to feel nothing had come out.

He pulled what wasn there anymore back in and let out Hawks' wings. The pro-hero told him to stop addressing them as his wings, they were Luffy's wings now. They were attached to Luffy, they were his wings.

They still didn't feel like his.

Luffy was thankful he made it to the end of the day just fine. He didn't have a crying fit or anything, even though he had the bags under his eyes that nobody commented on. So Hawks flew with him back home, never wanting to bring attention to himself or Luffy's classmates, and met him on a tall tree in the park areas that surrounded U.A.'s campus.

"How'd it go?" Hawks asked as they flew away.

"Everyone was nice about it. I kept your - my wings in most of the day." He looked ashamed. "I'm terrified of losing them," he confessed. Hawks sighed, but said he understood completely.

"But these wings are more durable than your previous ones. I'm not at all saying they're better, but they can't be ripped or pulled off since the feathers can detach at will. If that makes you feel any better," he said nicely. Luffy nodded, saying it did. He had a failsafe with these ones. "Plus, they're turning another color, they won't be identical to mine," he pointed out.

Luffy said he missed the blue, but would rather have anything but red. He wanted to not be a complete copycat. "Can I go on a patrol?" Luffy asked when they got home. Hawks asked if he could handle the press. "I can fly above where they can't corner me."

Hawks said if he really wanted to, he could trust he can handle it. Luffy thanked him, since he had no make-up homework and only had a little bit that he'd finished mostly at lunch, choosing to be by himself for today, wanting to not have to focus on being social. But his friends took other tables around him, doing their own work but actually deterring anyone from bothering him or getting too close. They really cared for him and he was so grateful.

When he went on patrol, he didn't smile. His baggy eyes were evident, and he ignored photos taken or questions asked. He looked utterly depressed and even ill, but he wanted to do something other than mope at home and constantly check the mirror. Hating the discolored leg that at least wasn't shown in his hero outfit or school uniform.

But then he stopped once he heard a crying baby in an alleyway, and landed quickly, running to the back of the alley and seeing an abandoned baby in a basket. He didn't expect this to be his first save since returning, no matter if he went on patrol once a week.

He picked up the crying baby and smiled at it. He let it grab his finger while it sniffled. It looked maybe one year old. "Why don't we get you someplace nice and warm? I'm nice and warm, I'm sure you'll like that," he said, rocking the baby. He'd honestly rarely held a baby, but knew how to.

He walked out of the alley way, and talked to it while also watching his surroundings. He used Hawks' wing's power for the first time and had them distract the baby or tickle it to keep it distracted. He didn't know if flying would scare it, and just kept giving it goofy faces that it liked. He liked.

The press came up to him but he hushed them, letting them clearly see he was carrying a baby. When he walked through the crowd, Luffy finally spoke. "Keep quiet, I found this baby in the alleyway," he said quietly. Photos were taken, but the baby was happy and distracted. It took much longer to get back walking instead of flying.

When he got there, he waited outside and called Hawks out. He came out and found Luffy holding a dirty baby. "I found an abandoned baby in the alleyway. What do we do with it?"

Hawks looked shocked but clearly hid a smile about the purple feathers distracting it and keeping it happy. "Ms. Robin's home. I'll get the car, flying him might be dangerous." Luffy agreed and he and Hawks got the regular car, Luffy taking his wings away but keeping a bigger feather to tickle it's tummy, which rumbled. Luffy cooed for it, saying he was sure it would get some nice baby food soon.

The pro-hero was hiding a smile the whole time until they got to Ms. Robin's house, who had been called before and got ready to welcome a baby. Luffy still held it and gave it to Robin in the baby carrier. It started crying. "Don't worry, Ms. Robin will take good care of you," he assured him and gave him the big feather, which he held but didn't stick in his mouth. "Good boy."

When he got home, he went inside to start dinner, since it had taken a while to get back from the alleyway while walking. He wasn't surprised to see he was trending again, but with clips and photos of his keeping the baby calm and happy, with photos comparing how haunted and empty he looked before.

He ignored it, not really caring what people thought of him at the moment. He was depressed, and it would take awhile to get back to normal. He knew that, he'd been terribly traumatized only days apart. Tortured and having his wings destroyed twice. The first time was bad enough, the second time was worse. He was powerless the second time, and embarrassed about that.

When he woke up the next day and went to school, he called Ms. Robin in the morning to ask how he was. "He's doing well, playing with the other children. We haven't given him a name yet. You found him, what would you like?"

Luffy had already looked up baby names starting with "F" since he loved the feather so much, but he found a name that meant happy or lucky in Latin. The baby was happy and very lucky Luffy found him. "I was thinking Felix. It means happy or lucky in Latin."

"That's a great name, with a touching meaning. Thank you for bringing him here, we'll try and find Felix a forever family soon," Ms. Robin said. Luffy gave a small smile and said he was glad she took him.

After that, Hawks accompanied him to school, and then easily flew off. He got into the window like before, which was thoughtfully left wide open for him to climb in. The girls in the class all went up to him and said he was so cute with the baby. Luffy said, "His name is Felix. Means 'happy' or 'lucky' in Latin. I found him in the alleyway and brought him back to the agency and brought him to the place all of the found children go."

Midoriya showed Luffy a fan account of collecting images of Luffy in different places, only it was legal since he was in his costume. It was illegal to post photos of heroes that were not in their costumes as a breach of privacy, and it was enforced with heavy fines. Luffy sighed, but looked at it, glad to see there was nothing negative.

People had made gifs of his reactions to Hawks' speech and they were used everywhere now on posts on social media sites. Well, it wasn't anything bad. Kind of embarrassing, but he didn't care much.

Class was normal that day. No assembly or anything out of the ordinary. It was nice, a regular day where he wasn't stared at since he went out the window instead of down the hall, and ate his lunch mostly in the class, since he still made his own food.

When he went home with Hawks, he announced that he trusted Luffy to fly on his own now that he was fast enough with the new wings to get away from something very fast. But if there were anymore nomu sightings, which had not happened since the one that attacked him at home, he would be accompanied again.

"Okay. It takes me under ten minutes if I go fast. So, ten minutes all on my own. Plus, I'm doing the patrols all right. At least yesterday."

"With baby Felix," Hawks said with a smile. "That was so cute!"

"Shut up. He's a baby, I wanted to help him."

"Of course, I just didn't know you were going to name him," Hawks replied. Luffy huffed, but wasn't angry. Just a little embarrassed, but he knew Hawks was joking and not being mean. When he got back, he asked if he could patrol again. "As long as your careful and aware of your surroundings."

Luffy nodded, saying he always would be after everything that happened. He got dressed in his hero clothes and then flew away, listening for anything wrong, anything suspicious. This was a wonderful distraction. Better than school. It was very welcome. He didn't enjoy it, per say, but it chased away some of the depression and anxiety.

He came across a robbery, and reported it to Hawks, asking if he could intervene. He was given the green light and stopped it immediately, pinning the guy down, seeing he was able to make shock waves. Luffy's eardrums burst, but it wasn't as bad as Present Mic's. He got a piece of clothing ripped off of his shirt and zip tied his hands together.

After pulling him outside and chopping the back of his neck neatly, he called the police. He asked the store owner when he came back if he was alright. The guy was shaking, and some of his store was destroyed from the shock waves.

"Don't worry, villain attacks are insured if the hero reports that," Luffy said with an attempted friendly voice, which was enough for the store owner, he awkwardly hugged Luffy, who just pat his back. "I'll fill out the paperwork once I get back to the agency and turn it into the hero society leaders and they will in turn give it to the people who can repair the shop. Can you write down your name and number?"

"I need to give you the manager's number," he said, still crying. The villain was arrested and Luffy took the piece of paper and put it in the pocket that carried the zip ties. When he was done, he flew back to the agency quickly and filled out the paperwork and submitted it in a hard copy as well as sending it to the right people on the computer.

It would take about four days to be processed and then the place would be repaired for free. Heroes were able to do things regular police could not.
