DISCLAIMER:

Hello, chapter 13 is here. Which *EGO statue will win the prize and which will win a ticket to the chopper of shame? How many more campers will found how painful it is to step on a piece? Found out next.

And remember if you feel like it leave a review for the story, or maybe mark it as a favorite is more your thing. That way, I can know you are actually enjoying it. Before starting, let me answer some of the last chapter reviews.

gman5846: Yep, but only the best EGO statue will get the price.

Serious-Comedian: I'm glad you are enjoying the fic so far, and that you enjoy Cody and Heather interactions :D. About him, I hope to give him more spotlight if he is not eliminated soon ;). Let's see what happens in this episode.

Total Drama belongs to Fresh TV, its creators, and associates companies. I don't own anything from the properties used in this fic.

Usually almost the best is good enough Part 3

And the fourth challenge it's on. The teams had to build the best sculpture of their team's symbol (fox or ferret), using LE- I mean EGO pieces. They not only had to build it and paint it, but they also have to bring the pieces from one side of the room to the other, barefooted.

This would not be a problem, but there are transparent EGO pieces scattered across the dazzling floor waiting to be stepped on, and believe me, they can hurt you, A LOT. There are less than 9 hours left for the challenge. Who will win and who will lose? Find out right now here on Total Drama Tyranny of the masses.

Duncan, Courtney, Heather, Lindsay, Lightning, Brick, and Zoey were at the pieces' container in the foxes' side of the building. They had to take the pieces to the center, but since this is a challenge, it will not be easy.

"And how are we supposed to carry these damn pieces? Hold as many as we can and run?" said Heather frowning at the big box-like container.

"It doesn't seem like a good idea," said Duncan, holding a handful of pieces, but most of them slip between his finger.

Lightning pushed Duncan out of the way. "That's cuz you are doing it sha-wrong, look at the Lightning," The athlete then used both hands to pick up as many pieces as he could, before running to the center.

But after entering the aisle, he began to scream and jump on one leg, EGO pieces flying around as he jumped.

"DAMN SHA-PIECES, hurt more than losing in the last quarter," said Lightning jumping on one foot, frowning and clenching his teeth.

"Lightning are you ok?" shouted Lindsay running toward the athlete.

Zoey tried to stop her. "NO! Lindsay, WAIT!"

But it was too late, Lindsay stepped into the aisle and over an EGO piece. The blond made a high pitched scream that forced all her teammates to cover their ears. She then laid in the ground, holding her foot.

"How something so small can be so painful?" asked Lindsay sobbing.

"Stop, overreacting is just a small piece of plastic. It can't be so painful," said Courtney rolling her eyes, "We should be thinking how to carry the pieces to the platform. Doing it using our hands will take to much time."

Brick held the container with both hands and pulled it with all his strength, but it didn't budge. "It seems that carrying the whole container would be impossible."

Zoey tilted her head, putting the finger on her cheek. "We can try to make a human chain. We pass the pieces to one another like a relay race."

"It would not be efficient. We will have to run a lot to make it work," said Courtney, shaking her head,

Lindsay came back, her broad smile contrasting with the fact she was limping. "And what about, like, throwing the pieces to each other. That way, the human chain will totally work, no?"

"Great thinking Linsiot! That would take even more time," answer Heather in a snarky tone, frowning at the blond girl.

"Wait, It's not a bad idea. We can build a ball or something using the pìeces and toss it," said Duncan, taking some pieces and sticking them together. After doing it with 5 pieces, he threw them into the container. "Or maybe assembling them is monotonous and as slow as throwing one by one."

"And if instead of sticking pieces, we use a shirt to store them and throw them, that way we can carry a lot of pieces at the same time. Why is that I always have to come with the good ideas?" said Heather, raising her face proudly.

Brick blushed, and Duncan smirked. "Are you the one taking off your shirt? Because then, I am totally ok with this plan."

"Drop dead, you pig," shouted Heather covering her tank top with her arms.

Courtney didn't say a word, nor frowned, she only threw a cold glare at the delinquent.

"Ok, then I will do it myself," said Duncan, taking off his black shirt, surprisingly he didn't have more tattoos other than the flames on his forearms.

"Let me help," said Brick taking off his tank top. "Two are better than one."

"Great, but let it keep it at that, ok? Remember we are on international tv," said Courtney, not wanting more nudity than the necessary.

"Wow, Dean and Brick are quite buffed. But looking at them, Brick seems slightly stronger," said Lindsay giggling.

Duncan glared at Lindsay, disheartened. "Hey! You forgot MY name when I was with you for 4 seasons and remembered cadet stinky-feet that was in your team for one day."

"Hey, I didn't insult you," protested Brick, frowning at the delinquent.

Lindsay winked at Duncan, smiling innocently. "Yes, I mean, it is like his name is so unique. I mean Brick, after hearing it a few times like duh so obvious. Like who is called Brick anyway? And yours is not only a common name, but you are also rude, so I don't want to remember it."

Duncan jaw dropped, maybe Lindsay was not as dumb as he thought.

"Stop that! Do you call those sha-muscles? THIS ARE MUSCLES, SHAZAM," said Lightning, throwing his t-shirt at Courtney, posing and raising his arms. The athlete was undoubtedly the strongest of the three men.

"STOP STRIPING AND START WORKING!" shouted Courtney glaring at everyone, her ears turning red. "I will wrap the pieces on the shirts and throw it to Duncan, the rest take your positions along the aisle. And be careful to not step on a piece."

Confessional: Lightning

"Lightning is number one, just look at this," said Lightning, flexing his pecs, posing bare-chested. "Lightning is the sha-best, even if Lightning feels Lightning is forgetting something important."

On the ferrets' side, things were slightly better. Even if they didn't have an organized system like the foxes, they still were fast thanks to Sky, Shawn, and Charlotte's condition, and Sammy and Jay that keep the aisle clear.

"It's so hard to keep the aisle without EGOs. The light hurts your eyes as soon as you look down," said Sammy crouching and taking some of the pieces that just fell from the ceiling.

"That Chris dude must be some kind of sadist, making us take this challenge barefooted," said Jay, smirking. He was not cleaning the pieces, just watching Sammy doing it.

"Well, it could be worse, at least there are no bears," said Sammy chuckling, while taking a few more pieces.

Jay crouched next to her. "You had worked hard enough. Let me take care of this."

"I'm fine, thanks. Please take a look at that section for the aisle," said Sammy, grateful at Jay's politeness.

"Are you sure, I can take care of both," said Jay, 'accidentally' taking her hand instead of the piece.

Sammy moves way her hand, blushing and surprised by the situation.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. It was an accident," said the skater covering his face with his torque.

"Don't worry," said Sammy, her heart pounding faster.

Jay smiled, it was his chance, he came closer to her. I'm not sorry for grabbing your hand, I'm sorry for not kissing you, he thought. Now the skater just had to said that and stole her kiss.

Jay walked to the twin, looking at her eyes. But before he could say a word, he felt something heavy bumping against his side, throwing him to the ground.

"Sorry, I didn't see you in the middle of the aisle," said Sky, trying to smile.

Confessional: Sky

"Maybe I'm unfair, but I don't trust Jay, and I definitely don't want him near Sammy. So sorry, the bump was not an accident. But what happened next was an accident, so I'm sorry. Phew, it felt great taking that out of my chest," said Sky smiling and putting a hand on her chest.

Jay rubbed his side after the Cree girl tackled him. He stood quickly and walked toward her, clenching his fists. "What's your problem du-"

But before he could end his sentence, the skater stepped on one of the pieces he was supposed to clean.

"F*** damn, piece of s***, I step just in the corner, F*** Chris and his lame challenge," cursed Jay while holding his foot.

Sammy and Sky looked at him with wide eyes while he kept cursing Chris, the Total drama franchise, and the Danish company who make the pieces.

Sky blinked a couple of times before turning to Sammy. "I will keep going, Sammy. I think it would be better to leave him alone."

"Poor Jay! But you are right, it will be better to wait for him to calm down," said Sammy, who didn't expect such an outburst from the usually cool and relaxed skater.

The clock was already down at 03:59:02, and the competition was a close one. Both teams already had something, the foxes had their fox body standing on for legs, with something like a fox's head on the front. The ferret's sculpture was like a square swan whin a long neck without a head, ( _| ) that didn't look like a ferret at all.

The human chain on the foxes side worked perfectly, Courtney wrapped a lot of pieces on a shirt and threw it to Duncan, who then threw it to Lindsay, Heather, Brick, Zoey, Lightning, who threw it to Alejandro. The Spaniard threw an empty shirt to Lightning while he took out the pieces. The empty shirt made the inverse route back to Courtney, who was already filling the third shirt.

But things were not working that well with the builders.

"Cody, don't you think our sculpture is a little wobbly?" said Beth as she put a piece on the back of the fox, and it rocked forward.

"Yes, the four legs are of different length and width, and the front one is shorter. So it wobbles a lot," said Cody smiling sheepishly.

Confessional: Cody

"At first I thought maybe Alejandro wanted to sabotage us, or maybe Dawn hadn't followed the instructions. Until I realized the shorter leg was the one I build. Hehehe, never point fingers before you get the facts," said Cody rubbing his neck.

"Poor fox, can't we lift it and try to fix its leg, putting more pieces under it?" asked Dawn, crouching to look closer at the leg.

Cody grabbed the sculpture carefully, and after a moment, shook his head. "I'm afraid if we lift it, it will break apart."

"Maybe we should leave it as it is. I mean, we cannot risk to break it, we don't have enough time to start again," said Alejandro, who was busy taking the pieces out of Duncan's shirt.

"I have an idea!" said Beth enthusiastically, "What if we take apart the shorter leg, put the pieces, and we put it in place again."

Cody smiled, showing the gap on his teeth. "Beth, that is a great idea, that way, we can do it without risk of breaking it! Alejandro, come her a moment and help us."

And their plan worked, they took apart the leg, put some pieces on the base to make it taller, and put it back on its place. After some tense moments, the fox's structure was 4-legged again. The 4 builders cheered joyfully.

Sadly their happiness was short-lived, as the fox statue now rocked because one of the back legs was shorter.

On the ferret's side, things were grim. Their ferret statue looked like anything but a ferret.

"Hey masked clown, are you sure this is ok? You are not throwing the game, are you?" asked Amy, looking daggers at the wrestler.

Dramaman, took some EGOs bricks and began to put them on the box-like ferret body, ignoring Amy. "Everyone, I need your attention, please. You will start shaping the body. To make it curved, left two spaces from the side and cover the rest with pieces, and repeat. We should have enough time in 3 hours, and 1 to paint it."

Lilly tried to stick a piece on place, but she didn't put enough strength, so it didn't connect. She tried again and failed, and again, and again, putting her tongue out the fifth time.

Topher stroked his chin. "I think Lilly must continue grouping the pieces while the rest of us shape the body." Amy and Mike nodded in agreement.

"I will be building the head of the ferret, so you three will have to shape the body by yourselves," said Dramaman, who went to sit at the other side of the platform.

Mike, Topher, and Amy began to put the pieces, Amy lazing, letting the two guys do the work. Mike didn't realize that, more interested in becoming part of the team than if she was working hard enough or not. He looked at her and smiled, showing his teeth' gap.

"It seems that you and your sister didn't get along," said Mike trying to start a conversation.

Topher walked behind the twin, shaking his head and putting his arms crossed, trying to tell Mike to drop the topic, but the spiky-haired guy was oblivious to Topher's worries.

"Humph! That is a misunderstanding. She is always making herself the victim and telling everyone that I am mean and abusive," said Amy, sighing.

"In the episodes of the past season, it looked as if you were bullying her," said Mike shrugging, Topher then resigned himself for the upcoming storm and went back to put pieces.

Amy cringed and put her tongue out. "Ugh! You watched that? Talking about bad taste on entertainment."

"Hehe, I' am a die-hard fan of total drama, what can I say? It helped me to relax and forget about my problems during a tough moment in my life. That was one of the reasons why I convince my psychiatrist to let me participate," said Mike rubbing his arm.

Amy rolled her eyes. "For me, it was only a cause of problems. My sister used it to slander me. The cuts they put on television made me look like the villain, and even my own mother started to tell me that I was too harsh on Samey. Oh, Ple-e-ease, I am only hard on her because she is lazy," as Amy talked, she began to work, and work as hard as Mike and Topher.

The host wannabe had to bit his tongue. He knew that it was a lie, but if he tried to expose her, she might have another meltdown like in the forest. So he stayed quiet and continued putting pieces.

"Really? What a shame, I would love to have siblings. Being the only son can be lonely," said Mike looking sadly at the pieces.

"You're right. Being alone sucks, but you can have siblings and still be completely alone," said Amy, also working harder.

Topher was surprised. Not only Amy didn't get furious, but she was working harder than ever. He took a mental note of it, maybe it could be useful in the future.

Confessional: Mike

"I was really surprised. I mean Amy is really conceited and rude at first sight, but when you talk with her, she may be more human than she seemed on TV. Still, I can't believe she doesn't like Total Drama. How can be people out there that don't like that show? The world is a big place indeed," said Mike smiling and nodding.

The clock on the screen showed 01:02:32. There was only an hour before the end of the challenge, and a miracle (or a curse depending on who you ask) happened. The ferret became a round ferret-like creature with a long neck and without the head. While on the foxes side, their sculpture could still use some work (a lot of work indeed.) It was still wobbled, his head, body, tail, and snout seemed square-like. Only the ears seemed like the real deal.

Courtney shook her head while throwing the last shirt full of pieces, "We should start painting it before run out of time."

"Ok, throw me the paint cans," said Duncan gesturing with his hand.

"Are you crazy? If we drop them, it would be a disaster. Especially if we don't have enough paint to finish the sculpture," said Courtney holding a can in each hand.

Duncan smirked. "As you wish, but sometimes you have to take risks."

Courtney walked quickly as time was running out, and she didn't want to lose for something like not painting the sculpture. In her rush, she forgot a small detail of the challenge, but soon she stepped on it.

The Latin girl winced in pain as she left the weight of her body on the small plastic toy, Duncan watched it and ran next to her.

"Hey Princess, are you ok?" said Duncan worried at her lack of reaction.

Courtney took a deep breath. "Of course, I am ok. I say all of them were just exaggerating," she said, making a forced smile. "Now please, take these cans of paint to the others. While I sit here for a second."

"It hurts, isn't it?" said Duncan, trying to not laugh at Courtney's attempt to make it look as if nothing happened.

"Of course not. I am just tired of throwing the pieces so many times and need a moment to rest," Courtney answered, her eyes full of tears.

"As you wish. I will take the cans and brushes to the team, and then I will come back," said Duncan rushing to the platform at the center.

Courtney then grabbed her foot and began to rub it, with a pained expression on her face.

Confessional: Courtney

"Ok, I admit it, maybe stepping on one of these little death traps hurt a little more than I expected. Fine, a lot more than I expected. Damn Chris, he will pay for this," said Courtney, sitting on the confessional with one leg over the other.

Duncan left the brushes on the platform at the center, where the rest of the foxes were already waiting.

"Let me paint it, I have a lot of experience in arts and crafts," said Zoey excited.

All nodded, and the indie girl took a can of paint, and with a brush, began to paint the statute, with great fineness and delicacy.

"Ehm, excuse me, Zoey, what are you doing?" asked Cody that was as startled as the rest of her team by Zoey's careful and slow painting.

"Painting, look how cute those 5 bricks on the leg look," answer Zoey proudly.

Heather raised an eyebrow. "Yes, but we need to end painting it all in one hour, remember."

"You can' rush art. We are creating something, not painting a room," said Zoey looking perplexed at the Queen Bee.

"Please let me help you in this mission," said Brick taking a broad brush and painting the statue head.

"Thanks, Brick," said Zoey smiling, even if the cadet and the redhead styles of painting were totally different.

Brick began to paint the head of the fox, but he was so enthusiastic that he accidentally broke one of the fox's ears.

Brick put his hands over his head. "Noooooo! Sorry, let me fix it," he then quickly took the ear, but instead of fixing it, he broke the fox's head.

"What are you doing? You swap teams remember? You don't have to sabotage us," said Duncan smirking, Brick's face was red as a tomato.

Dawn glared at the delinquent. "It was an accident, how can you say something so mean?"

"Relax midget, it was a joke. Now I have to go for more cans," said Duncan, ignoring the moonchild and going away.

Dawn kept glaring at him for a moment and then went with Brick and Cody to try to fix the fox's head.

On the other platform, the ferrets' statue now looked like a seal without the head, the idea of shaping it was working quite well.

"I can't believe all these squared pieces become in a rounded back," said Mike impressed.

"Of course looks great. I build it after all," said Amy smiling smugly.

Topher looked at her, raising an eyebrow."You mean WE build it, right?"

"Ugh, yes, it was just a way of talking. Don't be such a nitpicker," said Amy rolling her eyes.

Shawn and Charlotte went into the platform, leaving some cans of gray paint. Charlotte went back to bring more paint, while Shawn stayed to help painting it. Meanwhile, Sky was helping Sammy and Jay to keep the aisle clear.

"Well, I have to admit that it's looking better than I expected," said Shawn rubbing his chin.

"Of course it does, I build it after all," said Amy, feeling Topher staring at her narrowing his eyes. "I mean, WE, we build it after all," she added, rolling her eyes.

As if he was waiting to hear her words, Dramaman walked next to them with a goofy ferret face made from blocks. He carefully put it on top of the long neck of the ferret statue. It was not a perfect looking ferret's head, but it was close enough.

"Well, we have only half an hour to paint it, we must make haste," said Topher, looking worried at the screen.

"Step back, let's do this," shouted Shawn, opening a paint can. Dramaman jumped like a cat as he saw the zombie expert opening the can, Lilly also jumped scared out of the way after his shout.

In a moment, the conspiranoic threw the paint over the ferret structure, Mike, Amy (who used Mike as a shield) and Topher, were covered on gray paint, as almost all the ferret structure.

"Not the face, NOT THE FACE," shouted Topher, immediately taking out a handkerchief and cleaning his face. "I have to go to the bathroom to clean my face and hair," the pretty boy said before running to the bathrooms on the entrance.

"Thanks, Mike, you were a life savior," said Amy with paint stains on her arm and leg.

"Ptooey, ptooey, no problem," said Mike while spitting paint.

"Now we should finish painting it with the brushes. If everyone agrees with the idea of course," said Lilly taking a brush and waiting for the other's response.

Mike took a brush and smiled at her, "great idea, let's hurry."

Amy rolled her eyes but started painting as well, Shawn helping them, while Dramaman went to help carry more paint cans. Topher scream could be heard as he stepped on an EGO piece while running to clean his face.

Confessional: Amy

"Well, yeah, that Mike may seem like a doofus, but he is agile, gentle, and good enough to be a runner up. He is a gift sent by heaven just now that I lost Max and need a better ally," said Amy smiling.

The screen reaches at last 00:00:00, and the deafening sound of an airhorn signaled the end of the challenge. The front wall of the room opened like a garage door, revealing Chris and Chef waiting behind it.

"Timeֹ's up, so please get away from the sculptures, only one person can remain in the platform with it," said Chris, walking inside the room.

"HEY! Both of you are wearing shoes!" said Courtney, all the campers glaring at the host.

Chris laughed and keep walking. "Hehe, of course, being barefoot is part of the challenge. Also, no one wants to step on one of these little traps." The Latin girl only rolled her eyes as her answer.

"First, we will evaluate the Foxes creation," said Chris stepping on the platform, with Chef following him.

Cody was waiting on the platform, tapping his fingers nervously, at his side was the orange painted fox's statue. It was big, almost 1 meter (1 yard) tall, it had 4 legs and only wobble a little. All the sculpture looked square, especially the tail, that was like a ladder, but was proportioned and gave the vibe of a foxes tail.

But the feature that stood out more was the head. It was like a ball, with one fox's ear on it, only one eye, and the snout looks more like a duck's beak than a fox's muzzle.

"Well, it looks, interesting," said Chris looking at the sculpture, trying to not laugh.

Chef was using small glasses and scratching his head with a pencil, holding a clipboard on his hand, "You decided to make an asymmetrical head, can you explain to us why?"

Cody swept his forehead. He couldn't say they dropped it accidentally, could he? "We decided to make a modern art sculpture, not the classic fox you would see every day. The face represents the, how can you say it? Hardships and difficulties you found each day, yes."

"So it is modern art. I am not a fan, but now I can understand why it is so ugly," said Chef, writing on his clipboard, "7 over 10."

"WOW! The foxes take the lead with a good score. Can the ferrets do better than this? Let's find out," said Chirs in an excited tone.

"Phew, I can't believe it worked," said Cody as Chef and Chris went to the other platform.

Confessional: Heather

"I hope we can win this, if not, we already know who will be the one going home tonight. And you know who I am talking about, Cadet butterfingers," said Heather glaring at the camera.

Mike was waiting on the ferrets' platform, he looked at the gray ferret statue, it was not as big as the fox, it should be only 75cm (2ft 6in) tall because it was laying on the ground, its legs at the side of the body, with a long neck and that strange head. But the legs and the body were rounded, and something in the head made Mike smile each time he saw it.

The face was redounded with a big mouth and two big teeth like a mouse or a squirrel, but what made the goofy expression was the eyes. They were bulging and big made with 6 pieces each. They seemed like cartoon eyes.

"Now, it's time to evaluate the ferret's creation. The foxes get a seven over ten, so the ferrets need at least that to win this challenge," said Chris smiling and enjoying Mike getting nervous.

Chef chuckled, "I know it is a damn ferret, but what with that head? Did you make that on purpose?"

Mike smile sheepishly, "Yes?"

"Are answering me, or are you asking me?" said Chef, looking coldly at Mike.

"I mean yes, we did his face like this because it makes us happy looking at it," said the spiked-hairy guy, trying to show confidence.

Chef tapped his chin with the pencil, "You shaped the body to look more rounded, and reebling[1] the eyes to make them look like eyeballs, you are not a beginner at EGO."

Mike rubbed his arm, "I am not the one who did it, it was Dramaman."

"Then why is not he presenting it?" said Chris glaring at the wrestler.

"Because he is shy and doesn't like to speak in public," said Mike shrugging.

Chris shook his head, glaring at the wrestler. "What? C'mon Dramaman, you are the children's hero. Don't say now that you are shy, you're a damn wrestler for all's sake."

Even if he was wearing his faceless mask, every one of the Ferrets could feel Dramaman eye roll at Chris's words.

"Well then, it's not perfect, but that damn ugly face also makes me happy, 9 over 10," said Chef after scribbling something on his clipboard.

"The Ferrets win. The ferrets WIN again. Congratulations fan's team! And foxes, please meet me at the campfire at 8:00," said Chris smiling.

The ferrets began to celebrate and hug each other, but the celebration was short-lived when some began to step on Egos.

Confessional: Charlotte

"This time, we didn't lose a life in the challenge. That's wonderful because it gives me more time for my…" Charlotte realizes she is talking to a camera, "My secret stage, thanks to Max for unlocking it."

Alejandro was walking next to Lightning, the athlete looking with thoughtful expression at the ground.

"Does something worry you, mi amigo?" said Alejandro, walking with his hands on his pockets.

The atlethe was looking with thoughtful expression at the ground. "Lightning may be sha-forgetting something important, Al, but Lightning doesn't know what it is."

"If you knew what it is, you would not have a problem," said Alejandro rolling his eyes, then he looked around and pointed at their right. "Look, there goes Lindsay."

As if someone was lighted a fire inside the jock, Lightning ran like crazy to the direction Alejandro was pointing. "THAT'S IT! NOW I REMEMBER."

Lindsay was walking back to the cabins, when Lightning caught with her, stepping in front of the blond and blocking her path.

"Lightning, hello, how are you?" said Lindsay smiling, showing her white teeth.

"Linds, there is something very important Lightning need to ask you," said the jock in an unusually serious tone.

Lindsay tilted her head, looking at him with kind eyes. "Of course, you ask me like anything, but it's very possible I don't know the answer."

"Linds, did you have a boyfriend?" Lightning crouched a little to look at Lindsay's eyes while asking.

"Yes, I have, his name is," Lindsay touched her bandana and smiled, "Tyler, we have been dating for 3 years."

Lightning face darkened, he felt his heart broke into pieces.

"Why you didn't tell Lightning?" asked Lightning, trying to calm himself.

"I don't know, I think the subject just never came up," said Lindsay, oblivious Lightning true feelings.

"Lightning likes you," said Lightning clenching his teeth.

"Excuse me, what did you say?" asked Lindsay, who couldn't hear him.

"Lightning said that he likes you, what does that sha-Tyler have that I DON'T!" said Lighting, stomping his foot on the ground.

Lindsay was startled by the athlete's sudden confession "Lightning, what are you saying, we are only friends, I never meant-"

"SHUT UP! You were only leading Lightning, right?" Lightning was furious, and even if Alejandro said she wasn't leading him, it was the only explanation.

Lightning went away, running as fast as he could, leaving an upset Lindsay standing there. She tried to shout, but her voice choked on her throat.

Then she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry señorita, is not your fault," said Alejandro looking sadly at her.

"Al, I didn't mean to fool him. He is a great friend. Maybe if I wouldn't meet Tyler, but I met him," said Lindsay, not knowing what to do, tears falling from her face.

"I will talk to him, he just felt betrayed. It is like when Heather made you believe you were her best friend. The difference is that you didn't mean to fool him," said Alejandro while running behind the athlete, leaving a disconsolate Lindsay behind.

Confessional: Lindsay

"Did I just fool him like Heather did to me? I'm so sorry Lightning," said Lindsay sobbing.

On the dining hall were Dawn and Brick, they were talking about the day.

"So you and Zoey still have problems?" Asked Brick, "that's a shame, and just now that all of us are on the same team. At least for now."

"I don't know what to do. Courtney is right, I didn't do anything wrong, but I don't think she will apologize either." said Dawn upset, "and don't say something ominous like 'at least for now,' you will jinx us."

"Sorry ma'am, but my mistake today cost us the challenge. I deserve to be discharged," said Brick, sighing sadly.

Dawn rubbed his shoulder. "In this perverse game, you never know, so don't lose hope. At least I will not vote for you."

The cadet sighed sadly. "Thanks, Dawn, but aside from me. I couldn't think anyone that deserves to go."

"No? What about Duncan, for starters he accused you of betraying the team. I am sure he said that to convince the others to vote against you," said Dawn pouting.

Brick raised an eyebrow, putting a hand under his chin. "Yes, he is rude. I remember how he insulted my team just arriving at the island."

"And he doesn't have respect for nature or for other people's beliefs. He is full of himself. I don't know why Courtney still-" Dawn covered her mouth when she realized she was about to say something she didn't say even to the L.I.T.

Brick didn't understand what Dawn was trying to say, so he continued with the conversation. "Yes, he seems like a bad apple. We must talk to him about his behavior."

"Don't waste your time, people like him never learn. The only way to teach him the way is by voting him off the game," said Dawn nodding solemnly.

"I don't think you are right, everyone can change if they propose it. But it is true that maybe Duncan is the kind that will never propose it," said Brick smiling.

"Anyway, what I mean is, don't give up and don't think about voting yourself off, ok? Maybe there will be some miracle, and all of us vote Duncan tonight," said Dawn, chuckling.

A man entered the dinner, his face cold as stone, looking at his two teammates. "If you want to not be sha-eliminated, I have a proposal."

Confessional: Dawn

"I really don't hate Duncan. I mean, I can't feel such negative emotions. I just say that to motivate Brick into not voting himself off," said Dawn with a small smile, then look at the ground ashamed. "Ok, I should not lie. Lying is also a negative emotion. Maybe I feel something resembling hate for that delinquent, but can you blame me? He is rude to my friends, trees, and animals. The other day, he kicked a raccoon down the cliff, and when I admonish him, he said it was self-defense. What kind of self-defense is throwing a defenseless animal from a cliff?"

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the forest, a redhead girl was looking at the darkening sky.

These past days were too much for her, but at least having Mike around always appeased her heart. But everything went from bad to worse, Cameron was eliminated, Mike was in the other team and avoided her, and she had that fight with Dawn. She felt completely alone, just as before entering Total Drama. And she hated that feeling.

"For a moment, I was afraid that you were hiding somewhere," a female voice took Zoey out of her thoughts.

The indie girl looked toward her visitor and was surprised to find it was Courtney.

"Hello, Courtney," Zoey greeted her, she didn't have a great opinion of Courtney, especially after what happened in their last season together. But still was not like Beth or Lindsay just to be angry at her for the past.

"What are you doing here all alone?" asked the Latin girl, but she already knew the answer.

Zoey hesitated, she didn't want to answer the question. "I was, ehm, thinking about tonight elimination, yes! I was here alone deciding for who to vote. Did you already decided?".

Courtney was talking with Heather and Cody, the idea of voting Duncan or Alejandro was rejected because the obvious vote was Brick. But Courtney couldn't tell her that, because Zoey and Brick were friends.

"No, I'm still deciding," said Courtney, leaning against a nearby tree, "did you talk with Dawn about who she will vote?"

Zoey cringed at the question, it was not something she wanted to talk about. "No, I don't."

"Maybe you should, you are friends after all," said Courtney in a neutral voice, but for Zoey, it sounded accusatory.

The Indie girl sighed. "I don't know how much you know about Dawn and me, but I don't want to talk about this with you. We are not even friends."

"No, we are not. But I am Dawn's friend, and you should talk with her, or you will regret it," said Courtney, in a cold tone.

"Even if you are her friend, this is a problem between Dawn and me. It doesn't concern you," said Zoey, becoming tired of Courtney insistence.

Courtney stood off the tree and shook her pants off the tree's dirt. "Ok, as you wish. But at least listen to me on this one, you should accept Dawn for who she is, and also, you have to apologize to her before it's too late."

Zoey looked at Courtney, upset by her know-it-all attitude. "You don't know anything about it! It's easy for you to say that. The things that she said-" the redhead took a moment to calm herself and found the correct words. "She can read exactly what is inside your heart and reveal your most intimate secrets, things that even you are not aware of. I don't want anyone looking at my bare soul. It is frightening."

Courtney smiled, and frown at her, "Don't be childish! You are not afraid of Dawn. You are afraid of discovering what is hidden inside your heart. It's the truth and not Dawn what you are afraid. I am also afraid of knowing what's inside me, but believe me, losing a friend is more frightening."

The Latin girl left Zoey alone, the Indie girl had a lot of thinking to do, and none about the elimination.

The 11 foxes were already waiting for the votation to start. Lightning sat in the furthest point from Lindsay, who was frowning sadly. Also, Zoey and Dawn were looking to the ground. Brick was smiling resigned to his fate, while Chris enjoyed the spectacle holding a plate with 10 marshmallows.

"It's a shame, I really thought you abstract fox was better than the goofy ferret one. Maybe your art is to ahead for its time," said Chris chuckling.

Chris blinked a couple of times, at the sad and worried expressions of the campers.

"Well, I don't think my joke was so lame. Anyway, please go into the cabin and vote for your least favorite camper," said Chris shrugging.

The 11 foxes started voting, but the decision was more or less already taken.

Vote confessional: Zoey

"I don't know, but I will not vote for Brick. I guess I will go with the same as the last time," said Zoey shrugging.

Vote confessional: Lindsay

"I am really sorry, Beth. I know you told me to vote for Lightning, but I did a terrible thing to him, and this is the only thing I can do to show I am sincere, " said Lindsay pressing the button on her pad.

Vote confessional: Cody

"Sorry, you seem like a great dude, and I wanted to know you better, but someone had to go. Honestly, I would prefer it was Duncan or Alejandro," said Cody pulsing his touchscreen.

"Ok, campers, I should say that as always, you impress me, but who am I to judge you?" said Chris smiling after looking at the results on his phone. "I will now share with you these marshmallows, the one that doesn't get one will have to put the vest of failure, board the chopper of shame, leave the island, and can't come back FOREVER."

"Can you hurry up, please?" said Beth, looking more nervous at Lindsay.

"You have to learn to enjoy the moment, but ok, let's get started. The next campers are safe, Cody, Beth, Alejandro, Dawn, and Zoey" said Chris passing the marshmallows to each camper.

"Also, I have a marshmallow to Courtney, Duncan, Lightning, aaaaand Heather." Added the host, Beth glaring at the jock.

"And now there are two campers and only 1 marshmallow. Brick, you drop the head of your sculpture, and even if I think it looked better, it was not cool. Lindsay, you lead Lightning and also call me Kyle intentionally even when you remembered my name," said Chris looking at each one.

"And the last marshmallow go to,"

"Brick."

Brick caught the marshmallow almost by reflex, while Beth, ran to hug Lindsay.

"No! is not fair, you cannot eliminate her," said Beth hugging her friend as if her life depended on it.

"I agree with her, I deserve to be eliminated, please let me take the fall," said Brick stepping in front of Lindsay

"I would honor your request, but the votes talked, and this is not a democracy, it's a tyranny," said Chirs smiling, "Lindsay, if you may."

"Beth, Brick, thanks, but it's totally fine with me, I will go," said Lindsay with a tender and sad smile. But before going, she looked at the jock.

"And Lightning, believe me when I told you I didn't want to deceive you. I hope you can forgive me," Lindsay bowed her head and walked into the dock.

Chris gave the blond girl her harness. "That was touching Lindsay. Please put this vest of failure."

"It's so ugly, don't you have it in red, or maybe pink," said Lindsay looking with disgust at the leather and metal harness.

"Maybe for the next time," said Chris smiling, "now please put it on."

"Lindsay," said Beth trying to not cry.

"Don't cry, Beth, you have to stay strong and win this time. Don't let Heather, Courtney, or Duncan beat you," said Lindsay saluting.

"I will, and with the prize, we will visit Rome this time," said Beth crying.

Lindsay nodded, but before she could respond, she was taken away by the chopper of shame, that pulled her with such force that she ended flying upside down.

Lightning look at her clenching his fists, it was done, but he was not happy, only felt the emptiness inside him grew deeper.

"And that's the end of this episode, but what will happen on the next one? Will Beth keep her promise to Lindsay? Will Zoey and Dawn mend their relationship? Will Lego give us the right to use its brand? This and much more coming next in Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses.

Author Notes:

[1] Reebling is a lego technique in which you use small bricks to create texture in the piece you are making.

And the challenge ended with Lindsay elimination. How will this affect the foxes? What will happen with Beth? And Lightning?

Honestly, I have many troubles deciding this elimination, and Lindsay is a great character, but sadly someone had to go. There is still a lot to discover about the season, and in some way or another, this will not be the last time we see the blond princess.
