Chapter 110
Months later, Temari stands before the tomb.
She wasn't around when his body was buried. But she's there now along with her infant son.
They're in Suna. The desert place is hot and dry making the small infant fuss as she carries him.
Kissing the fidgeting infant's forehead, Temari with her voice low, utters, "I want you to meet the man who lay peacefully in this place, Shikadai. Without his existence, I'm sure you wouldn't be around.
Shikadai, quits wriggling, turning his head towards his mother's voice as if he understands that what she's telling him is something important.
"He's your grandfather Rasa," Temari speaks.

The sky suddenly darkens. Temari looks up and sees clouds of sand blanketing Suna as if to protect it.
"Gaara," she whispers.
Someone is attacking the whole of Suna and Gaara, her brother, is doing all he can to defend it from a foreign shinobi who is riding a big, white bird.
Gaara is in pursuit, on top of his sand, flying while the enemy creates explosion after explosion.
Clutching her baby tightly in her arms, Temari runs, not towards the fight but to get away. Rasa, her father, probably had a back-up plan that wasn't cancelled. She has a feeling, her child—no, she knows Shikadai is in danger.
But she also knows two villages won't let that happen.

A/N: Yep, this is about Preview 3. Sorry it took too long…it's because I wanted to write in a more 'integral' and more 'conclusive' (shoutout to Shadow Owner's review and everyone who noticed the same things…) way, but alas, I lost my superpowers (feels that way, me not being able to write anymore). Even so, I still want to finally put this piece I have for so long in this fic. Hope you guys don't mind it…
Have a wonderful Holidays!
