And if you want, please mark the story as a favorite. Or even better, leave a review of the chapter. This let me know what did you enjoy or what you hate about it and give me a pump in my motivation. Now let me answer last week's reviews.

Gman5846: Yes, this past elimination was unexpected, and also, we see our first Immunity Idol. Two more to go.

Harmony735: Glad you enjoy it ;)

Tempokeep: Beth elimination was intended as shocking, especially because in any other moment, it would be Shawn the one eliminated. Also, it's true, the merge is coming closer. Who will not merge of the 15 remaining campers?

Guest: Beth is gone, that much is true, about Aleheather and Ducney happening, mmm, it's soon to know ;).

WhatTheHeck23: Thanks for reviewing the past episodes. OMG, Jasmine elimination, of the early ones, it must be the most important.

And as always, a COLOSSAL shoutout and THANKS to Geofics, that is helping me with proofreading of the episodes. I know I repeat it in all episodes because I mean it. Thanks a lot.

The Best of Brains and Brawns Part 1

Last time on Total Drama, Tyranny of the Masses, we had a do-it-yourself challenge, in which the teams had to compete in a relay race with easy to build equipment to reach each leg. They had to make a boat, a bridge, a stairway, and a hang glider each on teams of two, and oh boy, it was fun.

Well, at least it was fun for me, and not so much for the ferrets, who lost again, and this time they eliminated Shawn. Or rather they almost eliminated Shawn that played the first immunity Idol and got Beth out of the competition. So much for her team swap.

Now the ferrets have 1 less teammate. Will they win again, or will they lose another challenge? Will Sammy adapt to her new team, or will she become the next boot? And how many secrets will our competitors reveal in today's challenge? Find out right here on Total Drama Tyranny of the Masses.

It was 2 hours after sunrise. Sammy, Heather, and Courtney had woken up earlier. It was a shame, but since Lindsay was eliminated, she became the one that woke up the latest in the cabin. She hoped that the twin girl was normal but no, she was also an early waker.

Even if it was time to get up, Zoey always enjoyed those minutes awake but still in the bed, enjoying the warm and cozy feeling just after waking up. She enjoyed it even in the not so comfortable beds of the cabin.

But all good things come to an end, and she had some things to do today. At last, she got out of the bed, changed her pajamas, and groomed her hair into her now trademark pigtails. She made a huge smile after checking her cheek, as yesterday's hit was almost invisible. Then the indie girl went out of the cabin directly to eat breakfast.

To her surprise, she found Courtney and Cody on her way to the dining hall. The former C.I.T. walking in front of the brunette boy, probably going to the beach.

Maybe Cody changed Gwen for Courtney? It would be kind of cute if they started dating. I should ask her later, thought Zoey smirking. She always wanted to talk with her friends about relationships, but she hadn't any female friends to talk about that.

Then she felt a kick in the guts when she thought about relationships. She trusted Mike, but when she saw him with that cheerleader twin, she could feel her blood boiling. Even if she said she wasn't interested, there was something in the way she clung to him that bothered the redhead.

Zoey decided to not interrupt Cody and Courtney, entered the dining hall and got a plate of the brown sludge. Since Brick swapped teams, she sometimes lost her breakfast as the most popular fox to him or Cody, and now even to Alejandro. She didn't care too much about it. This breakfast was still better than her own cooking.

She sat and began to eat when someone put their tray across from hers.

"Why the long face? You're about to touch your knee with your chin," said Duncan. He had scratches on his arms and face, a small bandage on his eyebrow and another on his arm.

Zoey smiled, "I had? Sorry, I just woke up. And you? You look horrible, I mean more than usual," she said, chuckling.

"Wow, you actually made a funny joke. I can't believe it. Maybe you're becoming less bland at last," said the punk, winking.

"I'm not bland, rude," said Zoey, pouting, then she smiled. "And look, the bruise in my cheek disappeared overnight. I'm beautiful again."

Duncan shrugged, "You mean not as ugly as yesterday."

"You make it so hard to be your friend," Zoey replied with an exaggerated frown and then chuckled. "Now seriously, what happened to you? Those bandages, did you get hurt in the crash last night?"

The delinquent smirked while eating his slob. "Exactly, great deductions skills, Red. I may start calling you Detective Zoey," he replied in a snarky tone.

"Detective Zoey? Definitely had a nice ring on it," said Zoey, her face beaming. Duncan just wondered how she could be so oblivious to the sarcasm.

"By the way, last night, Beth was eliminated. It was a shame, I hoped we could be together again in the merge," said Duncan glaring at his food. "Either those ferrets are good tacticians, or we're just unlucky."

The indie girl tried to eat her food, but it moved every time she tried to pinch it. "There is no problem. We just need to wait, and in the merge, Mike will join us. He also seems to be safe on his team. He has a lot of friends."

"Don't be so naïve," said Duncan lowering his unibrow, "on this show most competitors are in it for the money. They will fake being your friends and then backstab you. He should be careful with his damn friends," added the delinquent, making air quotes in the last part

"That is a sad way of thinking. If that is true, you may be just feigning to backstab me later," said Zoey lowering her head. She had given up on eating the rest of her breakfast.

Duncan just gazed at her eyes with a playful stare. "I may, but if that was my intention, I would have lied about voting off Cameron, to get your trust. And also, I wouldn't be so dumb to mention this to you. But in the end, you're the one that has to decide to trust me or not."

"Mmm, that sounds about right. I trust you, Duncan," said Zoey smiling and nodding.

He stood up and winked at her. "You're a smart girl, Red. Well, see you later."

"Where are you going?" asked Zoey, putting her tray away.

"There is something I need to do at the beach," said the delinquent, putting his hands in his pockets.

The indie girl followed him quickly. "Can I go with you? I don't have plans right now."

"I'm not stopping you. But don't you want to go with your boyfriend instead?" asked Duncan, trying to raise the extreme of his unibrow but wincing instead.

Zoey lowered her head, making a sad smile."No, Mike's busy. And also, if his team sees us together, they could think he's betraying them."

"Wow, that is true, well thought Red. I didn't expect that kind of strategic thinking coming from you," said the delinquent, smirking again.

Zoey clenched her fist. "Hey! What do you mean by that?"

Duncan blinked a couple of times. "Ehm!? I mean, you are too goody goody for that, yes, that is what I mean," he lied, trying to avoid a problem with the Indie girl.

"OOOOkkk!? I'll pretend I believe you, Duncan, but you hurt me," said the redhead offended, as they continued walking.

On the beach, Ducan began to look at the place he crashed, there were some steps on the sand, but he ignored them. Zoey was sitting in the sand, pouting and frowning at him.

"You win, Red. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you stupid," said Duncan rolling his eyes.

Zoey smiled triumphantly. "I forgive you." She then stood up and walked toward him. "What are you looking for?"

The delinquent kept looking at the sand and digging with his hands. "My piercing, it seems like I lost it yesterday on my landing."

"Ouch! That explains the wound in your eyebrow," said Zoey, cringing, "and the wound on your arm? You have been wearing that bandage since the first day."

"This, this is just for show," said Duncan patting his forearm over the bandage.

The indie girl tilted her head but decided to not pursue the matter. "It wouldn't be easier to use a magnet or something?"

Duncan narrowed his eyes at her. "What!? Red, piercings are made of titanium. They aren't magnetic. And even if they were, where will we find a magnet?"

"Sorry, it was only an idea," said Zoey, huffing and putting her hands behind her head.

"Whatever." Replied the delinquent, looking at the sand, he hoped it would be easier, but it was probably buried in the sand.

The indie girl looked at the tracks on the sand and remembered seeing Courtney this morning. "By the way, Duncan, I wanted to ask you. Why don't we try to invite Courtney into our alliance?"

There was a small silence. He kept digging. It was as if he didn't hear her, but then he replied, "She probably doesn't trust me, so she'll not want to. But it surprised me you asked. I thought you didn't like her."

"Maybe at first, but after talking with her, she's a different person than I thought. Courtney's more considerate than she seems at first sight. But anyway, I'm sure she may trust in you again, but what have you done to regain her trust?" asked Zoey, raising an eyebrow.

"Regain her trust? Like making her trust me again? It wouldn't work. She is too proud," said Duncan, resuming his search.

"You can't just act like nothing happened and wait for her to trust you again. Good things come to those who wait, but great things come to those who take action." Said Zoey winking.

"You're weird, Red," said Duncan, chuckling, "but thanks."

Both keep chatting and searching, but unfortunately, they couldn't find the piercing.

Confessional: Duncan

Duncan was smoking in the confessional, taking a big puff from this cigarette. "You know something? Red's right. Maybe Princess just needs a push in the right direction. So I just need to think how to do it," he then puffed again and threw the smoke through his nose. "I mean besides taking her to the final, of course."

On the ferrets' side, Amy was walking with Lilly. The older twin frowning and biting her thumb. It was already noon, but the older twin was still anxious about what happened yesterday.

"I can't believe the zombie freak had an Immunity idol. It's so unfair. We were so close to eliminating him." Said Amy walking in front of the treehugger.

"Yes it isn't fair," said Lilly in her low and nervous voice.

"And worse of all, they eliminate Beth. Just when I found another ally, we were one step ahead. UGH! Now we are 3 against 2, with Topher and the masked freak in the middle. If we lose again, it'll be dangerous," said Amy sitting on a picnic table.

"Dangerous indeed," replied Lilly, just then a small bunny hopped up and sat on her legs.

The cheerleader raised an eyebrow. "Can't you stop repeating everything I say? I need some kind of plan. We're in trouble."

Lilly blushed and said something in a low and inaudible voice.

"That we still have 1 more vote, and I shouldn't be so nervous? C'mon Lilly, if Samey lackeys can get Topher and masked freak vote, they can eliminate either Mike or us. I can't calm down with that possibility out there," exclaimed the older twin tapping her fingers on the table.

Just then, Mike walked toward their table, he was with Sky, but the Cree girl just waved and went away when they were before the table, not without first glaring at Amy.

"How rare that the small Olympian was with you, Mike." Said Amy, glaring back at her.

The guy with spiky hair rubbed his arm. "It was nothing. She just wanted to know if I had seen Draman, but as I told her, he left after cleaning the cabin."

"You boys are crazy, cleaning the cabin like that every day," said Amy resting her head on her arms over the table.

"It's fun. And that way, we have become closer to each other," replied Mike nodding proudly.

Lilly and Amy exchanged looks with each other, and Amy smirked. "Mike, so you're friends with them? Do you think they'll vote with us on the next elimination?"

The thin guy looked at Amy with wide eyes. "Are you thinking of losing? B-But we don't even know what the next challenge is. You can't give up so easily."

"NO! We're not giving up the challenge," said Amy, standing up. She then realized she was shouting and regained her composure. "We just want to have a Plan B in case of losing."

"Phew! That's great. I was afraid you were giving up before starting," said Mike cleaning the sweat from his forehead. "But I'm not sure. Yesterday Draman was adamant about not voting for Shawn. But anyway, I would prefer not losing again."

Amy cursed the Masked freak under her breath. It wasn't so weird. After all, Zombie freak is the last season's winner, and that guy is a fan. So she would need Topher after all.

"Oh Miki! that is so unfair. I can't believe they voted Beth," the older twin said and jumped into Mike's arms.

Mike blushed, not looking at her. "D-Don't worry, Amy. I'll talk with Topher. I'm sure they'll not vote you off unfairly."

Lilly kept looking at them with wide eyes. She wasn't sure if Amy was feigning or not. Then she heard some noises. The redhead blanched and walked away quickly (well, more like as quickly as she could.) Lucky for her Mike and Amy were distracted by each other.

Once away, she hid in some bushes and took Max's tool out of her bag.

"hissss- Lilly are you there? -hisss-" Max's voice could be heard for the small handmade device.

"I told you to only contact me after dark. Why are you so mean with me?" replied Lilly sobbing.

"hiss- Preposterous, we need to talk now. The access to the main computer is now in Topher's hands *hiss* I need you to recover it, over," said Max through the device.

Lilly shook her head wildly, sobbing strongly. "What? I can't do that! I mean, what you're asking is impossible. And even if I can take it from him, he'll be mad, and we need his vot-"

But Max interrupted her. "hiss SILENCE! The hour is near, so just stop crying and do what you're asked. You want your million dollars, don't you? Over,"

"Well, I-" Lilly started to stutter while twiddling her fingers.

"*hiss* then stop complaining, over and out *hiss*," said Max.

Lilly sighed. This show was becoming the best and worst experience of her life

Confessional: Lilly

"Why is this show so complicated? Can't we all just be friends? And for some reason, someone always ends up shouting at me, Sky, Max, even Amy. But at least Amy covers for me." Said Lilly sighing again. "Worse of all, I don't even want the money, meeting my favorites was enough. In fact, I can be eliminated tomorrow, and it will be fine."

Heather was sitting in a chair sunbathing, or more correctly, something like sunbathing. She was supposed to wait for Cody and play some Poker, but the brunette guy was 1 hour late. So she decided to just relax and wait.

Then, she heard someone running in her direction, she didn't need to turn to guess who he was.

"How dare you leave me stood up? You have some nerve," said Heather lowering her sunglasses and glaring at the brunette guy.

Cody smiled, showing the gap in his teeth. "Sorry, I was with Courtney, and I lost track of time."

"Courtney?" said Heather tilting her head. "I didn't know you were on good terms with her. In fact, I thought she hated you."

"Me too. But after talking with her, she seems to have changed. Also, she was under a lot of pressure during the World Tour season. If you give her a chance, Courtney's pretty smart and kind of funny."

"Just be careful. That girl's too smart. Maybe she's just using you," said Heather tossing her braid. "Remember that you are weak against cute girls."

The brunette guy rubbed his neck. "I don't think so, and even if she is just using me, I don't think she'll make any move before the merge." He then frowned at the Queen Bee. "And by what you said, you could also be just using me."

"Idiot!" said Heather standing up and walking toward a picnic table. "Now, let's start playing. I want to let off some steam by making you poorer."

And she meant it. After some games he owned her 195 dollars. It was clear she was in the zone today.

"Are you even trying, or you decided to just give me money for free?" Asked Heather as she showed another winning hand.

"Full house again? If I wasn't the one dealing the cards, I would think you're cheating." Said Cody pouting.

The Queen Bee raised her face proudly. "Stop sobbing and deal again. I want to put your debt on 200 today."

"Hehehe, you wish," said Cody while shuffling the cards. "But there is something that has been bothering me and I wanted to ask you."

"You sound too serious. Ok, I'm in a great mood because I'm kicking your ass, so go ahead. But I hope it isn't something silly." Said Heather smiling.

Cody took a deep breath. "Are you and Alejandro still quarreling?"

"Of course, the bastard cheated on me, remember? I just want to crush him," said Heather hitting the table.

"I know, but there is something strange, I mean yesterday's challenge, and especially the dance challenge. How can you dance like that if you really hate him?" said Cody, his expression more serious than usual.

Heather stood up and hit the table again, now with both hands. "What are you trying to say? That I still have feelings for him?"

"In the last elimination, we should have voted either Alejandro or Duncan, but we voted Beth," said Cody folding his arms.

"Because she was the one that lost us the challenge," explained Heather tossing her braid. "But if that is your attitude, we'll vote Alejandro next time we lose. Happy?"

"Yes, but you don't have to be so angry," said Cody trying to go after her.

She glared and pointed at him menacingly. "Shut up. After accusing me like that, you want me to remain calm? Fuck you, Cody. I'll go and meet with Samantha. At least she believes me."

Cody tried to say something, but there was no use. She was too angry. Maybe tomorrow she would be calmer, and he can apologize again.

Confessional: Cody

"I'm stupid, but I couldn't stop thinking about Heather and Alejandro after watching them dance, and honestly, I prefer to eliminate him as quickly as possible. I just hope that Heather can forgive me," said Cody rubbing his neck, ashamed.

Dramaman was walking on the road from the center of the island to the cabins. After cleaning the cabin and eating, he was called by Chris to talk. Of course, the conversation will not be aired. The wrestler was looking back at what just happened.

Dramaman was waiting for the host in one of the rooms on the underground facility. Chris walked into the room, with two interns behind him. He was frowning with his hands behind his back, shaking his head. The host signaled the interns to leave him alone with the contestant.

"Dramaman, what was that? We're trying to make a show here, an entertaining and exciting show," said Chris shaking his head.

"Really, I thought you were just torturing us for a paycheck," replied the masked man in a snarky tone.

Chris glared at him. "Don't use that tone with me. You know what I'm talking about. You jumped in the water with the sharks knowing they were robots."

"Of course I didn't know," lied Dramaman, he had seen real sharks from TOO close, so when he saw the robot jumping, he noticed the differences.

"HA! Of course, you of all people will jump against a true shark. It was obvious you knew and also knew that we couldn't hurt you badly. That ruined all the first part of the challenge. And it was YOUR fault," said the host, pointing him menacingly.

Dramaman chuckled under the mask. "SO? You had your hero Dramaman fighting courageously against sharks, isn't that the kind of promotion you wanted for the character?"

The host rubbed his chin. "That's true, we can use the images to sell you as a brave hero, you know the sales of the action figure aren't that bad, but they can do better. Still, don't try any stunt like this one again."

"Yes Chris, I'll be on my best behavior," replied Dramaman in a snarky tone,

"Donֹ't test my patience, remember I gave you this chance and this job. But I can also eliminate you at any moment," said Chris, looking at him with a mocking smile.

The masked man bit his tongue. Right now he couldn't leave the game because that would give Amy the advantage on the ferret's votes. "It won't happen again."

"That is much better. See? You can be reasonable if you propose it. Now go back to your cabin," ordered Chris, still smiling at the contestant.

"Yes Sir," said Dramaman and went out of the office, but honestly, if not for Shawn and Sky, he could be eliminated now, and he wouldn't care.

Dramaman knew he would be in trouble when he jumped into the water, and worse of all, they lost the challenge anyway. Maybe this wasn't a reality show, but a comedy, and he was a clown. At least his outfit made him look like one.

"There you are. I was looking for you all day," Dramaman cringed at the female voice. It was the voice he didn't want to hear.

"Where were you hiding?" asked Sky walking next to him, tilting her head.

The masked man kept walking without looking at her. "I was training in the mountains after cleaning the cabins."

"Oh?" replied the Cree girl. She was watching him with a puzzled expression.

There was an awkward silence. He had avoided Sky since the quarry elimination, where he heard she wanted to eliminate him. But for some reason, she kept walking next to him.

"How can I help you?" asked Dramaman in his deep voice, but the tiredness of his tone was evident.

The Cree girl took a deep breath, walked in front of him, and looked at his face. "I wanted to thank you for trying to stop me the other day during the challenge and to apologize for my attitude."

"What?" The masked man stopped in his tracks. If not for his mask, she would see he was looking at her with wide eyes and the mouth open.

"You were right and tried to help me, but I got angry because I was too focused on winning. You know, I hate losing, and my competitive side got the better of me." Explained Sky making a small smile. "can you forgive me?"

Dramaman looked at her, the sunset reflecting on her black eyes. "Don't worry, I am glad you understood."

"Thanks! Since that day, I felt that things got a little strained between us. So I wanted to clear up any misunderstanding," said Sky, covering her eyes from the last sun rays of the day.

"No problem. We're a team after all," this was like a dream. Maybe Shawn told her about the Immunity idol? Anyway, the masked guy was happy to know she forgave him, not caring about the reason.

"Thank you," she said before frowning, "You know, keeping this to yourself isn't good. If you need someone to talk, I'll listen," she said, flexing her arm. "Maybe I can't give you the best advice, but at least we can worry together."

The masked man faced her again. There was something off. "Thanks but, why are you so worried about me? We barely know each other."

"Because I learned the hard way that there are things that are best said straight without roundabouts. I lost someone very important for not talking properly," said the Cree girl looking at the now night sky.

They then arrived at the cabins. "Well, thanks for everything. Let's do our best in tomorrow's challenge."

He waved at her and then scratched his head. Now more than ever, he should continue in the competition.

Confessional: Sky

"After he told me to throw the challenge, Dramaman and I didn't talk again. Even during Charlotte and Beth's elimination, he didn't come to the cave. So I just wondered if something was wrong. Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but I don't want another misunderstanding ruining one of my friendships," said Sky nodding at the camera.

Near the foxes cabin, Alejandro and Brick were coming back from training in the forest. Both men were talking and laughing on their way back.

"And then we arrived at the airport just in time to board the airplane, but as you can imagine, that accordion became trash, and I had to buy a new one." Said Alejandro shrugging and laughing. He had his hair done on a short ponytail.

Brick was laughing so hard that he needed to stop to catch his breath. "I can't believe it, hahaha, that was too crazy. How is that all those things happen to you?"

"I just like to try many different things, and usually when you take risks, things become unpredictable, but always make interesting anecdotes," said Alejandro, stretching. "But you also had a lot of misadventures. Like that in which you ended up crashing your bike on the 3rd floor."

"Yeah, hehe, honestly, I'm not sure if I could do it again. I mean my bike was basically unscathed," said Brick, blushing but also smiling.

"You're a great guy Brick, I'm so glad of becoming your friend. Especially since what happened to Lightning," said Alejandro, the smile in his face turning in a frown.

Brick put his hand on Alejandro's shoulder. "Don't be sad Alejandro, there was nothing to do for him after what happened between him and Lindsay."

"Thanks, amigo. You know, we're quite lucky to have you on our team," said the Spaniard, showing a charming smile.

"No sir, it's my pleasure to be of help to our team and an honor to be your friend," said Brick saluting.

Alejandro chuckled and shook his head. "You're too awesome, Brick. And tell me. How is your friend Zoey? Sadly I haven't had too many chances to make her my acquaintance."

"She's fine. A little stressed to compete against Mike, but she's fine. You definitely have to talk with her. You would be great friends," said Brick, nodding confidently.

"No lo creo, sorry, I mean I don't think so. You see, I think Duncan is trying to put her against me," said Alejandro in a sad tone, then he looked at Brick with wide eyes. "Sorry, forget what I said. I don't want to worry you with unfounded suspicions."

The cadet frowned worriedly. "Alejandro, please, we're friends. You can speak to me. Why do you think that? Duncan is a bad apple, but I don't think he would fall that low."

"If you insist," Alejandro sighed, "this goes back to our time in World Tour. Duncan resented me because I went further on the competition. But after being in prison, he's more bitter. It's a shame because I thought we were friends."

Brick put a hand under his chin. "But that doesn't mean he would try to put Zoey against you. Maybe you should talk to him."

"I don't know, he's acting very distant. But you're right, he's my friend. I need at least to give him one more chance. But please keep an eye open, especially if Zoey tells you anything," said Alejandro with a sad smile.

"I'll don't worry about it," said the cadet, nodding. "I'm going to the dining hall before hitting the sack. Want to come?"

The Spaniard shook his head, "No, the food from this place is like poison to my body, so I prefer to eat the bare minimum. But you enjoy it amigo mio[1]."

Then both men went separate ways, Brick to the dining hall and Alejandro to the cabins. But the cadet found someone else in the cafeteria. He looked carefully at them before greeting.

"Hey, fancy meeting you here, Sammy. How is my fellow fox doing?" asked Brick in a joyful tone, after seeing that the twin didn't have the beauty mark on her cheek.

Sammy looked back and waved at the cadet. "Hello, Brick. I'm fine, thanks, a little busy between my training and hanging with Heather."

"Oh, training! That is great, you should always try to keep your body in the best condition. And what kind of training are you doing, cadet?" said Brick, nodding proudly.

"Zombie apocalypse training," replied Sammy blushing a little.

"Ah! Of course, zombie Apocalypse training …" said Brick, it wasn't what he was expecting. Definitely, Shawn was helping her, but the cadet decided to ignore that. "And you're friends with Heather? I'm glad, but a little surprised."

Sammy tilted her head at the cadet. "I know what you mean, but Heather is more kind than she seemed on TV. She has helped me a lot since I came to the foxes."

"But she seems to have some problems with Alejandro, poor guy he cares so much for her," said Brick rubbing his chin.

"Problem? It seems like they were dating, and he cheated on her, but she never talks about it," said Sammy looking sadly at the floor.

Brick stood there looking at her with wide eyes. "But, but that is impossible! Alejandro's a gentleman, and he talks so fondly of her. I can't believe he cheated on her."

"I don't know. Heather repeats that a lot and she talks quite harshly of him," said Sammy, sitting on one of the dining hall tables.

"But they're always together. In the talent challenge and in yesterday's challenge. I don't think you can dance like that if you really hated your partner," said Brick, sitting across the twin.

The younger twin put a hand under her chin, with a thoughtful expression. "But that isn't more like Chris messing with them? Forcing them to work together even if they don't like each other?"

"That is a possibility, but for the talent challenge, nobody forced them and they danced together." The cadet blushed, "You can't do that kind of performance against your will."

"You're right," replied Sammy, also blushing at the memory of that dance. "But what are you suggesting? That we should try to get them together again?"

The cadet sighed, lowering his eyebrows. "I only think we should try to find their real feelings and help them realize them. It would be sad if they ended apart just for a misunderstanding. It's our duty as their friend, don't you agree?"

"I'm not sure. It's none of our business, is it?" said Sammy. She wanted to be a good friend but wasn't sure what was the correct thing to do.

"Let's just try to find out. It would be so sad if they still care and can't go back together for their pride. And If we notice we're becoming bothersome, we can always abort the mission," said Brick offering a hand to Sammy.

"Ok, let's do this," said Sammy shaking hands with Brick. "But if they ask us to stop, we stop."

Sammy and Brick then began to exchange all they know about Heather and Alejandro before deciding to call it a day and sleep.

Confessional: Sammy

Sammy has a thoughtful expression, her chin laying on her hand. "I'm not sure if I like this idea. On one hand, becoming cupid between the most handsome man on the island and Heather sounds like the best way to pay her kindness. But at the same time, I'm afraid we are meddling in their business. But Brick needs me, and I can't disappoint a friend, can I?

The next day, the campers went off their cabins and started their day. In the middle of the island, there was a new building at the woods entrance. Shawn decided to ignore it. There was a more important thing for him to do.

Like all mornings, the conspiranoic went and checked the traps he made in the forest. Since the last week, he had been trying to capture the man without an aura the Dawn mentioned, but since that day, he found nothing.

Then someone came closer behind him, but Shawn already recognized them for the sound of their footsteps.

"You're early, Sky. Searching again in the mountains?" said Shawn looking at a pit he made, but no critter or otherwise fell in it.

"Yes, there are only a few ones left to search. I would never imagine that an artificial island would have so many caves," said Sky stretching. "And you, are you still looking for that" she made air quotes, "Man without an aura?"

Shawn stood up and turned to look at her. "The seer saw it, and she was sure it was none of the campers. So it's him, or it's a zombie. Either way, I'll find out."

"I don't think a person can lose their aura like that. My mother is into a lot of spiritual theories and that stuff and is supposed to be the vital energy. I don't think-" she then gulped, "I don't think that leaving him here can affect him so much."

"You know there are cases of mutations of previous contestants. They sold them as accidents, but they can be experiments. Either way, we have to find out the truth," said the conspiranoic with a thoughtful expression.

Sky still wasn't sure about that, but before she could answer, the sound of an air horn interrupted their conversation.

"Good Day campers," the voice of Chris was heard across the loudspeakers. "Come to the Chrisdome for today's challenge. The Chrisdome is in the center of the island. So please hurry up so we can start the challenge."

"Chrisdome? He really is full of himself, isn't he?" said Sky blinking a couple of times.

"That isn't something we didn't already know," replied Shawn shrugging. "Anyway let's go there, let's finish this challenge as soon as possible."

The 15 remaining contestants began to walk toward the rocky plain near the forest. This time a small coliseum like structure was in the place of the building where they had the EGO challenge.

Both foxes and ferrets looked unimpressed at it, while Chris's voice could be heard from the loudspeakers.

"Welcome campers to the Chrisdome. This wonderful structure will be the place in which you will have your next challenge. Please come inside, Ferrets entrance is on the west gate, and Foxes enter from the east gate. As I know you aren't the smartest, there is a giant sign over the gates showing each of them. Now hurry up."

Both teams started to walk to the inside of the structure, the Foxes not looking especially excited by the idea.

"A colosseum? Are we supposed to fight amongst ourselves?" said Zoey, in a disheartened tone, then gulped, "Or against some kind of animal or mutant?"

"Does it matter? Either way, we only have to beat whatever Chris put in front of us, and we'll be fine," said Duncan putting his hands behind his head.

"Like you and that bluebird?" said Courtney with a mocking smile, reminding him of a similar challenge in the all-star season.

The delinquent glared daggers at her. "Please never talk about that again, and believe me that this time I can fight anything he throws at us. Maybe not win, but I can fight it."

Zoey and Courtney chuckled at Duncan's expression after he remembered his blunder.

On the other side, the ferrets were also expecting some kind of action.

"I hope we can fight against each other, so I can once and for all put Samey in her place," said Amy to Lilly in a loud tone, smirking.

"As if you could beat Sammy," replied Sky in a harsh tone.

Every ferret looked at them, as the older twin turned to face the Cree Girl. "Ex-cuse-me. Did you say that SAMEY could beat ME? Like really?"

"Of course," said Sky glaring at her, "Sammy is better than you in everything, but you are just too arrogant to realize it. I'm tired of hearing you talking nonsense."

"You know she's on the other team, right? That she's now our opponent and that we need to beat them, RIGHT?" said Amy, looking condescending at the gymnast.

"That doesn't matter. What is right is right. Either she is on our team or the other. You aren't better than her," said Sky folding her arms.

Amy's smirk disappeared. She then raised her head. "Don't act all high and mighty now, Sky. You're the worst person among us." Said Amy turning her back. "Let's go, Mike, Lilly. We have a challenge to win."

Sky kept glaring at her when someone put a hand on her shoulder. "Well done, it was about time someone told her the truth," said Shawn nodding, and then walking in front of her. "I think you should try to ignore her until we can eliminate her or until the merge because now she'll be trying to get you, so it was foolish. But Jass would be proud."

He then went into the Chrisdome, followed by a Sky, that wasn't sure if he was praising her or insulting her.

Both teams entered the area. They were on elevated platforms with 8 seats on each side. Each platform had a stair that went down to an arena like the ones on gladiators movies.

Around the arena were stands full of standees that looked like humans. Between them, some interns were shouting and clapping among the standees to make the illusion that there was a real public.

In the middle of the arena was a giant screen and over it a throne-like seat. In front of it was Chris smiling smugly, dressed like a Roman emperor, enjoying the cheering of the crowd. Or better said, the recorded cheering of the crowd.

"Welcome contestants. Today's challenge is like no other of the past challenges. This will be a contest not of physical prowess, but of Mind and Might," said Chris raising his arms, enjoying more pre-recorded cheerings. The campers rolled their eyes and whispered at each other.

"On today's challenge, you'll be asked a question about a camper on the opponent team. Each correct answer will give you 5 points and access to the Chrisdome arena. There you can enter and bet your 5 points in a physical challenge for 10 points solo or 15 points if your opponent also had a correct answer," said Chris as the arena was illuminated.

As Chris talked, in the arena appear a jail with some beavers, a moose, and a bear. Also, there was a boxing ring, a pit, and some rings on fires.

"What are the questions about? Personal question? Questions about our deeds on the show?" asked Courtney glaring at the host.

But Chris only smiled mockingly. "The questions are a surprise, but believe me, they'll be memorable. This is a 10 round competition, so some of you will repeat. Now get ready, the challenge starts NOW. Dramaman, you go first for the ferrets."

The masked man sighed. So Chris put him in the spotlight. Dramaman stood up and walked to the edge of the platform to hear the first question.
