The Best from Brains and Brawns Part 2

The 9th challenge has begun. Now both teams have to fight in the Chrisdome in a battle of knowledge and physical prowess. During 10 rounds, they will be asked a question and receive 5 points for each correct answer. But they don't know that the questions will reveal some personal secrets of each contestant.

But that's not all. The campers can choose to bet their points against a physical challenge for a chance to double or even triple their points, only that if they fail, they lose the points they won with their question. The team with more points at the end wins. What will happen with the teams after all the secrets are revealed? And which team will eliminate a member tonight? Find out here on Total Drama Tyranny of the masses."

It was the first round, and Dramaman walked to the front of the ferret's platform. The audience (actually a fake audience of standees) cheered for him (well, they put pre-recorded cheers in the sound system). He faced the arena of the Chrisdome, full of dangerous items and animals.

Over the arena was a huge screen, displaying a square formed by 20 numbered tiles.

"Dramaman Hero of the children, the eyes of the nation are over you. Please DON'T fail them. Choose a tile and answer the question behind it, " said Chris in a solemn tone.

"I choose the 12," said Dramaman, 12 was his favorite number.

"Number twelve then. First question, which member of the foxes had a heart tattoo on their arm?"

The masked man cursed his luck. Forget about the hero of the kids' stuff. How was he supposed to know which foxes had a tattoo? He remembered Brick because they jumped together, and he didn't have tattoos. But the rest?

Sammy didn't have it, that was for sure. Alejandro, Zoey, Brick, and Heather didn't have it either, as they showed their bare arms. That left Cody, Courtney, and Duncan. Courtney and Cody used long sleeves. And the delinquent a tank top but had a bandage over his arm. A bandage?

"The answer is Duncan," said the masked man in his deep voice.

The number 12 on the screen began to blink, and the sound of a bell filled the Chrisdome.

"Correct! The answer is correct. That is Dramaman. Remember, his action figure can be bought on the online store for $9.95," said Chris smiling and then looking at the Foxes. "Now please Duncan, can you show us your arm."

The delinquent stood up frowning first at the wrestler and then at Chris. All his team looked at him, but only one of them was really interested in his tattoo. Duncan took out his knife and cut the bandage. Under it was a heart tattoo, the ink had faded a little. In the center, it had tattooed in a newer tint, '3 + 4.'

"Wow, a heart tattoo? Really? Want to tell us the story behind it? Maybe a broken heart?" said Chris in an excited tone.

Duncan's frown turned into a hate-filled glare. "Bite me, can I answer my fucking question?"

Chris shook his head. "Sorry, but it isn't your turn. Please, Brick, come forward and choose a number from the panel."

The delinquent folded his arms and sat again. He wanted to go down there and take out his anger against anything, but it will have to wait. He had been hiding his tattoo for 20 days.

Brick stood in front of the foxes' platform, looking at the screen with a thoughtful expression. He kept watching like that for some time.

Chris tilted his head, frowning, "Can you choose a number already?"

Brick rubbed his neck. "Sorry, I was thinking which number would give us a strategic advantage."

"Yes, but can you hurry up? We're trying to make a show here." Said Chris, his arms folded and tapping his finger impatiently against his arm.

"Wait a moment, if 12 was taken maybe a lower number? Or maybe a higher one? I think I will take 7. NO! Wait, better 18, yes, let's go with the 18."

"At last," said Chris rolling his eyes, "Who of your opponents is the owner of Chef II?"

All the foxes and most of the ferrets blanched.

"Did you say the owner of Chef II, sir?" said Brick, disgusted by the idea of someone owning Chef.

The cadet frowned, looking at his opponents with a worried expression. Chef II was probably the name of a pet(or at least he wished it was a pet), but who was such a hardcore fan of the show to name their pet Chef II? Then he realized it!

"The answer is Dramaman!" said Brick smiling confidently.

The sound of the wrong buzzer filled the arena. All the contestants winced at the loud sound before Chris started to laugh.

"Haha, sorry, cadet, but that is a wrong answer. Chef II owner is Topher, not Dramaman," said Chris with a mocking smile

"Ehhh!?" said almost all ferrets and foxes, the first looking at the young host wannabe.

Topher blushed and lowered his head. "What? Yes, it's my cat. I named it when I was a Chris fan. Sue me."

"Anyway, poor cat," said Chris chuckling. "Now Brick's out of the round, leaving the foxes with 0 points. So Dramaman is your turn. You want to bet your 5 points in the Chrisdome or keep them."

Dramaman shook his head, "I ke-"

"You keep going? Wow, that is Dramaman, a hero without fear! Now go down the stairs so we can present you with your trial," said Chris interrupting him.

There was some concern in the ferrets, but Dramaman reluctantly went down the stairs, knowing this was Chris's revenge for the shark incident.

The traps on the ground closed, and the jails moved automatically to the arena's sides. In front of Dramaman were only 3 rings on fire, moving slowly in circles.

"To get 10 points, Dramaman, you have to jump across the 3 rings on the stage. You may jump them one by one, but it must be in one run. Do it, and you win, or if you fail the jump or chicken out, you lose all your points." Explained Chris, raising his arms as the rings burned with more intensity.

The masked man gulped as he saw the rings moving, his eyes full of fear, but for good or for ill, his mask hid his expression, so his team ignored it and just cheered for him.

"Don't stay still like that, just do it," shouted Amy.

"You'll be fine. Just trust your training," cheered Sky cupping her mouth with her hands.

"You have done more dangerous challenges Draman, go for it!" shouted Topher enthusiastically.

"Just think you're escaping a horde of zombies and let your body move instinctively," said Shawn with his arms folded and smiling confidently.

The wrestler smirked and shouted to psych himself up. If he would die, at least he would die trying.

To all the onlookers' surprise he jumped across every ring one after another like a feline. But the ferrets' relief was short-lived. After jumping the third ring, Dramaman's tank top and pants caught on fire. But before anyone could react, Logan and another intern put out the fire with extinguishers.

"And that is Dramaman for you ladies and gentleman. Such grace and agility, he's a hero," said Chris signaling the interns to take him out of the arena. "Now let's continue with the challenge. Topher, the cat lover, it's your turn."

Confessional: Dramaman

The wrestler is wearing a different tank top, mask, and pants. "Are they crazy? I mean, yes it's supposed to be dangerous, but did someone test this before?" the voice of Dramaman was full of fear and annoyment. "Anyway, I need to add fire to the list of things I hate. "

The host wannabe stood up and walked to the border of the platform. "Hello Chris, I choose the number 7, that is the number of this season."

Chris looked at his phone and smirked. "Ok, number 7. Which of the foxes has never dated anyone?"

There was whispering and gasping from some foxes' members, while others didn't care at all.

"That is easy, Chris," replied Topher, smiling. "Brick, Sammy, and Cody never had dated someone officially."

The sound of recorded laughs mixed with actual laughs and some protests filled the building.

"That's correct! I don't know how you found that out, but that is correct. The score is now 15 against 0 for the ferrets," announced Chris laughing.

"That's a lie! How can you be sure we never dated someone?" said Cody standing up and scowling.

Chris waved his finger, "Don't be a sore loser. With our technology we can find all your secrets. Now Cody, sit down while Samey answers the next question."

"It's SAMMY!" said the younger twin as she stood and went to the border of the platform. The idea of going against Topher worried her, but there was no going back. "I choose number 11."

Chris nodded, "Question 11, which ferret lied about an injury, saying they got hurt outside of the practice, so their club didn't have to cancel their training camp trip."

Sammy blanched. What was that question? How should she know about that? There were still 7 ferrets. Lilly, Mike, Shawn, and Topher didn't look like the kind of people that would be in a club, so in the end, it was between Dramaman and Sky. Of them, probably Sky would be so kind as to make a lie like that.

"The answer is Sky," said Sammy, not completely sure of her answer.

But the wrong buzz signaled that the gymnast wasn't the person that lied about the injury.

"Sorry gal, but the correct answer is Amy," said Chris with an impish smile on his face.

The teams whispered among themselves.

"How could you fail that if it was your DAMN SISTER!" said Duncan, still angered because of the tattoo incident.

Sammy stood there, speechless. Was the cheerleader club's end of the semester trip. It was the best trip of Sammy's life because Amy hurt her leg on the stairs and couldn't go. Never in her life, she suspected that Amy lied, so the trip wasn't canceled.

"Why didn't you tell me the truth?" said Sammy. She couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Please, Samey, we're in the middle of a challenge, and you just failed. So please go and sit down with your team." Said Chris narrowing his eyes at the twin that, still shocked, returned to her place.

"Don't worry, he made that question just to get you," said Heather trying to comfort her.

Confessional: Sammy

"I don't understand it! I dropped Amy during that practice. If she had told the truth, the trip would be canceled. Why did she lie? For the club? She isn't that kind-hearted. And why didn't she throw it in my face? I really don't understand it. It must be a lie," Sammy hugged her legs, looking disheartened at the floor.

"Now, Topher my boy, what will it be? You want to keep you 5 points or bet them on the Chrisdome?" said Chris looking down on Topher from the upward platform.

The host wannabe winked at Chris. "I'll keep my points. Thanks a lot." And then walked back to his seat.

"What? But right now is your chance to increase your advantage. Those 5 points can be DECISIVE in the end," said Chris looking with wide eyes at Topher.

"I know, but I don't want to risk burning my hair down there, so forget it," replied Topher smiling and enjoying Chris's distraught expression.

The host glared at him. "I hope your teammates remember this if you lose. Anyway, let's keep this going. Sky is your turn."

The Cree girl stood up and walked to the border, near the screen. "I choose number 1."

"Right off the bat, I like that winner attitude." Said Chris winking. "For the question, name two foxes that have problems with anxiolytics."

"With what?" Sky looked at him with wide eyes. How could she answer if she didn't know what that was?

"It's a medicine against anxiety," said Dramaman in his deep voice, who was back with his team.

The Cree girl's eyes sparkled. "Thanks, Draman," now she needed to guess who were the foxes that needed that kind of medicine.

But who? She really didn't watch the show that much and didn't know them that personally. Brick and Sammy never mentioned something like that, so she could just hope. That left Duncan, Courtney, Heather, Alejandro, Zoey, and Cody. Duncan was in jail, so he probably needed them, and also maybe Courtney? She seemed kind of anxious.

"Courtney and Duncan?" replied Sky, then the sound of the wrong buzz sounded, making her wince.

"Sorry, Sky, but you're partially wrong. The correct answer is Alejandro and Courtney." Replied, Chris shrugging. "Do you have something to say?"

"Bueno, I had some issues after being put in a robot for a year. But I think my lawyers already talked with you about that," replied the Spaniard showing a smug smile.

"No comment," replied Courtney, giving a dead stare at the host.

Confessional: Courtney

The former C.I.T glared at the camera, "What with the surprise? After the last season in which I compete, I have some issues and need some Desyrel to sleep at night. But now I'm ok, I just realized some things about myself and my past, and now I'm better than ever. Thanks for exposing that, Chris."

"You aren't doing this entertainingly. You remember this is a TV show, right? Anyway, the ferrets fail, and it's the turn of the foxes. Zoey, it's your turn," said Chris enjoying the angry expression of Sky after failing.

"I choose 13! No, wait, that is bad luck, 15! Yes, let's go with 15," said Zoey after taking her place at the border of the platform.

"15 is then, and for the rest, please try to choose the number beforehand," said Chris narrowing his eyes at Zoey. "Now for the question, which contestant broke up with their significant other after the show."

"What? That isn't very humiliating?" said Zoey, putting a hand on her chin.

The question was tricky. Shawn was out of the question. He still was dating Jasmine, and that Amy wouldn't be flirting with Mike if she had a boyfriend, would she? Then she saw her, it was obvious.

"The answer is Sky!" said Zoey, she just remembered the last episode of the previous Pahkitew season.

The bell ring filled the Chrisdome. "Correct. Yes, after leading Dave all the season, she ended up breaking up with her boyfriend. Ironic, isn't it."

Sky turned red from the anger and stomped her foot on the platform with such strength that it trembled. "I DIDN'T LEAD HIM! And I was planning to break with him from the beginning. And if you mock me again about that, I will not be responsible for my actions."

Confessional: Sky

The athlete hit her knees with her fist, a shadow covering her eyes. "How many times does he have to step on my feelings for laughs? I swear next time Chris does that, I'll kick him in his detestable face. I don't care if I'm expelled."

There was a moment of silence in the building, Chris gulping loudly. "Understood, let's continue, Zoey the score is 15-5. Do you want to bet your points on the Chrisdome or keep them?"

"I'll bet them, Chris," said Zoey, smiling confidently, as she walked down the stairs. In the center of the Chrisdome was a boxing ring.

"Put those boxing gloves Zoey. This challenge is the Venatio I.[1] You have to go into the ring and survive 1 minute against the beast you'll find there. You can face it or just escape from it," said Chris, a giant grin adorning his face during the explanation.

"Zoey!" exclaimed Mike, looking at the ring with a worried expression. Duncan, Courtney, and Brick were also quite concerned with this challenge.

The indie girl jumped into the ring. "No problem, and what is my opponent?"

"Your opponent is a real life bear. Good luck. Your minute starts now!" said Chris, a ring bell signaling the start.

The bear went out of its cage. Both the bear and Zoey kept looking at each other for a moment. Then the bear cracked his knuckles and glared at her, while Zoey blanched.

"Oh no. Are you the bear that ate that ferret?" Asked Zoey covering her mouth with one of the gloves. "Hey! Hello, em, friend. Do you remember me?"

The bear replied with an angry roar.

"Oh! I see you remember me. I just want to say that all that happened that day was just business. And the one that put his arm in your mouth was Lightning, not me, and-"

The bear roared again and rushed in her direction. Zoey ran away, but the ring was too small. She climbed up a post, stepping on the head of the bear and jumping behind him.

But the beast took a swipe while turning, Zoey escaping his claws, making a long jump. But a ripping sound made her realize that she didn't escape unscathed.

Zoey looked behind her and looked her pants ripped, exposing her white heart printed panties.

"YOU PERVERT BEAR! What have you done?" said Zoey blushing and sitting on the ring to hide the hole on her pants.

The bear also blushed. He covered his eyes with his claws and went to the other side of the ring, ashamed of what happened. It didn't try to attack her again.

"And Zoey showed more than just her skills, but she did the challenge and got 10 points for the foxes. The score is now 15-10. The ferrets are still ahead. Now Zoey, go out of the Chrisdome so we can continue with the show." Said Chris smiling mockingly.

Zoey was wondering how to go back to her team without exposing herself when a shirt fell over her head. It was Mike's blue t-shirt.

"Use it Zoey," shouted Mike smiling barechested from the ferrets' platform.

The indie girl put on the shirt. It was long enough to cover the rip on her pants. She then went back to her team smiling.

Confessional: Zoey

Zoey was sitting with her legs together and still wearing Mike's t-shirt. "Did I say how fortunate I'm for having Mike as my boyfriend? I know I have, but I'll repeat it again. Mike is the best boyfriend in the whole world. Thanks for dating me."

"Continuing with the spectacle, now for the ferrets is Lilly's turn. So take your place, and please hurry up," said Chris smirking at the treehugger.

Lilly stood up and began to make the motion of being running to the edge of the platform. But she advanced just as slow as her normal walking speed.

Once there, she said in her low and polite tone. "I want to select the tile with the number three. If it's not much trouble."

Chris rolled his eyes. "Number three it is. Ok, which of the foxes publish anecdotes, old movie reviews, and poems under the nickname 'Blue Dreamer," and even won an award for imaginative composition for their poems."

Lilly looked at Chris and replied immediately. "It's Samantha." The younger twin blanched at those words.

"Wow! That's correct! Samey, do you want to tell us something about your internet fame?" Asked Chris, waggling his eyebrows.

"Why did you have to reveal that? I was keeping it a secret from Amy so she couldn't mess with my publications." Said Sammy in a worried tone, looking distressed at the treehugger.

But Lilly only tilted her head. "Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. It was Amy who told me about you being Blue Dreamer. That's why I knew it was you."

Sammy looked at her sister, who only turned her face. It didn't make sense that Amy knew about it. Why did she never bother her with it? Why didn't she try to ruin it like all her other projects? Sammy felt dizzy. First Amy's injure and then this, nothing made sense.

"Ignoring the sisters' Drama. Heather is your turn, so take your place in front of the platform," said Chris, enjoying the drama the questions were provoking.

Heather grabbed Sammy's shoulder strongly to show her support before walking to the front of the platform. There she tossed her braid before choosing her tile. "I'll go with the number 10."

"Number 10 then. The question is, what ferret left their parents home to start working since they were 16?" asked Chris, resting his head on his fist while looking at Heather's reaction.

"Are you kidding me?" said Heather, glaring daggers at the host. How was she supposed to know which of these losers wasn't living with their parents anymore?

The Queen Bee took a Deep Breath. There were only 7 ferrets. The twins obviously still lived together, or Sammy wouldn't be like that. Lilly was too weak-willed to leave her home. That left Mike, Sky, Shawn, or The masked freak. There was no way to know which one of them it was.

"I choose Shawn," said Heather, but the wrong buzz resounding in the room was the signal she was wrong. The Asian girl cursed Chris and his damned game.

"Sorry, Heather, the correct answer is Dramaman. Our resident hero stopped living with his parents from a young age to prepare himself to save the world," said Chris winking at him.

"Wow Draman, you live by yourself? That is awesome!" exclaimed Mike patting the masked man's back.

"It's not something to be proud of," replied the wrestler, while Mike and Topher congratulated him.

"Anyway, the score is 20-10, so tell us, Lilly. Do you want to keep your points or risk them? Remember that in the end, the team with more points will win immunity," said Chris looking at her with a serious expression.

Lilly smiled, "I will keep them."

"But is your chance to increase the gap between both teams?" said Chris frowning.

"I know, but I'll keep them," said Lilly bowing.

Chris narrowed his eyes, looking bothered by the treehugger decision. "If your team ends losing for 5 points, they will know it's your fault. Do you wish to take the risk anyway?"

"Yes," replied the redhead and went back to her place.

"Great, I wonder if these kids know that this is supposed to be an entertaining show?" said Chris, shaking his head.

Confessional: Lilly

Lilly is looking at the camera, smiling, "I'm sorry, I didn't want to disappoint Mister McLean. But let's be honest, there is no way I could beat the challenge down there even if I choose to bet the points." She said, nodding serenely.

"Anyway, the score is 20-10, and it's Shawn's turn. I hope the question is about the Zombie apocalypse," Said Chris chuckling.

Shawn stood up and adjusted his toque before going to the edge of the platform to answer the question. "You'll not be laughing so much when the apocalypse comes, and you are turned into a Zombie lunch. I choose number 5."

"Yes, I'll regret it, don't worry," said Chris, still chuckling. "Question number five, which fox had some many self-esteem issues that they had been tinting their hair for the last 2 years."

Shawn began to rub his chin. Of course, he didn't have any idea of who this guy or girl was. So he began to look carefully at each fox, for any sign of distress after hearing the question.

"Do you know the answer or not?" said Chris, lowering his eyebrow while looking at the conspiranionc.

But he was still deep in thought. The challenge has been stressful for everyone, but two people seemed especially distressed, and one of them was Sammy, so it had to be the other one.

"If you don't answer in 10 seconds, I'll mark the question as a fail, ok?" said Chris tapping his arm with his fingers.

"It's Zoey. The answer is Zoey," said Shawn smiling confidently, and the sound of bells confirmed his answer.

Chris rolled his eyes. "It's correct, but you could have answered quickly." Then he turned to Zoey, smiling. "Anyway, Zoey? Who would say you have self-esteem problems? I mean, aside from anyone that knew you."

"Can you stop trying to mess with me? I think that already said enough of my personal life," said Zoey looking daggers at the host.

"There is no reason to get angry. Going on, now for the foxes, it's the turn of one of the public's favorites. Cody, THE Codester, THE Codemeister," said Chris in an excited tone.

Cody stood up and walked to the border of the platform, waggling his eyebrows at the camera. "Thanks, Chris. I chose the 14, that is the number of Saint Valentine."

"That is our resident Casanova, always thinking in hearts and romance. Now for your question. Which ferret lives in a Shelter home since he was 7 years old?" said Chris enjoying the gasps the question provoked.

The Codster blanched. He knew the answer, Sierra told him some time ago, his friend always found all the contestants' secrets. But even she decided to leave that information outside his personal blog because it was something too intimate. Did he have the right to expose him?

But then again, they were losing by 15 points. It was all or nothing. And even if Cody didn't answer, Chris would reveal the truth anyway, so it would be best to gain some points from it.

"The answer is Mike," said Cody, looking seriously at the thin man that was his teammate at the beginning of the show.

The sound of the bell confirmed that Mike was the correct answer. Mike looked at the floor with a sad expression on his face.

"But, but that isn't true. He didn't live in a shelter home. I know his grandparents," said Zoey, shocked by the possibility of Mike hiding something more of his past.

"Sorry Zoey, but it's true. You should really sit later to talk with Mike. There seem to be many things you need to talk about with each other," said Chris, who then turned his attention from the still shocked Zoey to Shawn and Cody.

"At last, two of you answered the question correctly. So now you have to choose to confront each other for a chance to triple your points or keep them. So what will it be." Said Chris looking intrigued first at Shawn and then at Cody.

The two men looked at each other. Cody folded his arms, frowning while Shawn smiled, raising his toque.

"I bet the points." Said Shawn, smirking. Cody didn't look so tough.

"I'll also bet mine," replied Cody. He knew that his opponent not only seemed pretty confident but also was the Pakhitew season winner. This wouldn't be easy.

"Wonderful, I salute you brave ones. Now please put your gloves and enter into the ring of thor to start your duel." Said Chris while inside the Chrisdome, appeared from the floor a black boxing ring with metallic poles and chains instead of ropes.

Shawn and Cody put on boxing gloves, a boxing helmet, and a mouthguard. Shawn's was in green and Cody's in red. Then both went inside the ring.

"The rules are easy. You have to fight for 3 minutes. The one that can KO his opponent wins. Hits under the belt and use of weapons are not allowed. If there is no winner after 3 minutes, DAM will choose the winner based on your performance," said Chris to the audience in a theatrical way, as if it was a fight to the death.

"Sorry, man, but I have been training to fight zombies for years. You don't have any chance," said Shawn, cracking his neck before the fight.

Cody smiled. "I hear that all the time. The part of beating me, not the one of training for the zombie apocalypse," he said, flustering but quickly regaining his composure. "So don't worry, I just hope to not disappoint you."

"And one last thing." Said Chris smirking impishly. "The ring is electrified, so I will try to not touch the ropes or the poles during the fight. Now good luck and-" Chris's voice was interrupted by the sound of a boxing bell.

Both men began to walk around the ring. Shawn took the initiative throwing some jabs at Cody, but the Codester protected his face and body with his arms.

Then the fox contestant advanced a step, entering Shawn's guard, and hit him in the side with a hook, connecting on the conspiranoic side.

Shawn jumped back with cat-like reflexes glaring at Cody. It seemed it would not be as easy as he hoped.

Then the fight became a slug fest, both exchanging blows but none of the finding and opening. The timer was running out, and in a moment, half of the match had already passed.

Shawn knew his chances were lower after the initial exchange, so he decided to take a risk and step inside, throwing a mean hook at Cody. But the Codster predicted that movement and gave him a powerful straight in the middle of his helmet. The conspiranoic fell to the ground in a single movement.

"1,2,3,4,5 "Chris was counting while Cody hoped for Shawn to stay down, "6,7,8-"

Suddenly, like an animal, Shawn raised from the mat and, in a swift movement, threw an uppercut that connected on Cody chin before he could react. The Codester's head arched backward as he fell unconscious instantly.

The zombie expert grabbed him, letting him fall in the middle of the ring and not into the ropes.

"And the winner is Shawn! The ferrets are now 35-10. The situation doesn't look good for the 'favorites.' But we are still at half of the challenge. Can the foxes make a comeback? Now please help Cody to go back to his team." Said Chris in an excited tone.

Logan and other interns helped Cody go back to the platform. The brunette guy was still groggy after the uppercut. Shawn took off his boxing helmet and cleaned up the blood on his face. He needed to check if Cody broke his nose or not.

Confessional: Cody

The Codester was with a bandage on his chin, glaring at the camera. "And of course, Murphy's law, you train to be ready for the big and important challenge, and just when you're about to win, you get overconfident and lose. Just my luck."

Confessional: Shawn

Shawn was with his arms folded and a bandage on his nose, smiling at the camera. "Sorry, guy. You're good at fighting, but you fight to improve yourself. I fight to survive. It's obvious who will win this fight."

Shawn and Cody were back with their teams. Chris watched satisfied at them after the fight. "Half of the questions had been asked, so let's go for the rest. Amy is your turn at-bat."

The older twin stood up and walked to the side of the platform with half-closed eyes. "Augh! All good numbers are already taken. Let's go with the 13 then." She said, shrugging.

"Thirteen, that is a bad luck number," said Chris in a spooky voice.

"Worse luck than meeting you, ple-e-ase it can't get worse," said Amy rolling her eyes.

The host narrowed his eyes at her. "Don't say that, you know the saying, it can always be worse. Anyway, for the next question, which two foxes left their parent's home and have lived with their significant other for more than a year."

"Eh!" exclaimed Amy. Why should it be one of those hard questions? Why not a question about Sammy or Zoey.

Anyway, she was smart. She just needed to think a little. Sammy definitely wasn't, not Zoey, because Mike would mention it, nor Brick, because he didn't have a girlfriend.

Courtney definitely not, she seemed too prude to do something like that. That left Alejandro, Heather, and Duncan. Alejandro was a lady's man, he wouldn't live with his girlfriend, and the delinquent looked like the type that would leave his parents sooner than later. That left only one answer.

"Heather and Duncan," said Amy, raising an eyebrow, but in a moment, the wrong buzz sounded.

"Sorry, Amy, it was close. The correct answer is Alejandro and Heather. And as an extra, I will say that they are still living together. Pretty daring of you two," said Chris wiggling his eyebrows.

"Shut up, Chris. That's in the past," shouted Heather glaring daggers at the host. While Cody and Courtney looked at her with wide eyes. She seemed angrier than ever.

"The love nest turned sour? Anyway, let's forget about it and come to the next question. Alejandro, the lover himself, how is that a man like you decided to live with his girlfriend?" said Chris smirking at the Spaniard.

Alejandro walked to the border of the platform and looked at him, smiling smugly. "Is that the question for the challenge?"

"No! of course not," said Chris, now narrowing his eyes at the Spaniard. "You always try to take advantage of poor me. Just select your number."

"I suppose as much," said Alejandro, smiling triumphantly. "I'll choose number 20."

"The last one? Ok, question 20, which ferret was fined for possession of cannabis while being a minor?" asked Chris, still frowning after talking with Alejandro.

The Spaniard looked at them. Could it be that easy? Probably not, but again, of the seven ferrets, there was one that was the solid answer. Maybe it was a trap, and the answer was the Chris imitator or the power ranger. But Alejandro Burromuerto always believed in his hunches.

"The answer is, mmm, I would say, Shawn," said Alejandro rubbing his chin and trying to create some tension before answering.

"Correct! Shawn, how is it possible that they caught you possessing cannabis while driving with your newly acquired license? I mean, what are the chances?" Said Chris smiling and raising an eyebrow to the conspiranoic.

"It wasn't my fault. They just wanted to intimidate me because they know I'm close to the truth. Fortunately, I have the money from the prize, and I could pay the fine. If not, they would probably take me to someplace far away, and I'll just disappear, like many others before me," said Shawn, closing an eye and nodding.

"Ehm, yeah, right, of course, you were so lucky then," said Chris, then he made a gesture of a finger circling around his temple as if Shawn had a screw loose. "Now Alejandro, the score is 35-15. Do you want to keep your points or bet them in the Chrisdome?"

"I will bet them, Chris," said Alejandro winking, as the public cheered (well, they were pre-recorded cheerings.)

The Spaniard then walked the stairs down into the Chrisdome, where the ring was replaced by a big pit. Over the pit was a pole, no broader than an adult foot. The pole worked as a bridge across the hole on the ground.

But more importantly, various pendulums were swinging over the pole, with hammers or blades at its end. Anyone trying to cross the pole could be cut or hit via the painful-looking devices.

"Alejandro, your challenge is the 'Pit and the pendulum' a classic[2]," said Chris, chuckling. "To gain the points, you should cross across that improvised bridge without falling into the 200 feet pit while avoiding the pendulums. Do it, and you'll get 10 points for the foxes."

From afar, the pendulum seemed slow and heavy, but down in the arena, Alejandro could hear the whooshing sound of the blade and the hammers crossing quickly from one side to the other. If the Spaniard was scared or not, he didn't show it. He just tied his hair in a short ponytail and walked to the pole.

Both platforms were dead silent. Nobody was cheering or booing because any of them could be in his place. Then he began to advance across the pole like an acrobat, with his arms extended on T.

The pendulum speed changed as their momentum shifted. Alejandro crossed the first 3 easily, but the fourth blade almost hit him. He had to stand still and with a leg over the edge to avoid it.

Everyone was looking at him silently, but Cody noticed something in Heather. He couldn't put it in words, but she was looking at him not with her arrogant expression or with disdain, but with a blank expression totally uncharacteristic of the Queen Bee.

Meanwhile, the Spaniard was about to reach the ending when a hammer shifted and went directly against him. All gasped when the hammer passed over him, but luckily he dropped, leaning on the pole and avoiding the hammer by inches. Alejandro then stood up on his hands and jumped the remaining distance to the goal.

"And he did it! Alejandro completes the challenge and got 10 points for the foxes. Now the score is 35-20. It seems like the favorite foxes are not done yet." Said Chris in an exciting tone, while Alejandro went back to the platform.

Confessional: Heather

"I wasn't scared. Why should I be? I mean, me and that jerk aren't in any kind of relationship," said Heather turning her face. "Well, maybe I was a bit scared, but because we would lose 10 points from the challenge, not because he could be hurt."

"Now is the turn of Mike, our shelter boy. Please walk to the front and choose a number on the screen," said Chris smiling at the contestant with spiky hair.

Mike walked to the border, frowning. He was without his t-shirt showing he was more fit than he appeared. In the past, taking his shirt would be the trigger to bring out Vito, one of his alter. But now, he was alone.

"I choose the number nine," said Mike in a neutral tone, still angry at Chris for revealing he was living in a shelter house.

But the host ignored him, enjoying the heavy atmosphere. "Number 9. The question is, which fox wet his pants on international TV when he was sixteen years old?"

There were some pre-recorded laughs. Mike felt bad because he knew the answer, but he didn't want to expose his friend. But again, it was for the team.

"The answer is Brick," said Mike rubbing his arm. The sound of a bell showed that it was the correct answer.

"Correcto! Soldier, that isn't cool. I mean, you are a big boy and still wet your pants?" said Chris in a mocking tone.

But Brick was smiling without any sign of worry on his face. "That again? I thought that after so many years, you could find a more embarrassing secret. Yes, it happened one time when I was scared." Said Brick, shrugging.

"How boring," said Chris rolling his eyes. "Anyway, the next one from the foxes is Duncan, so please come here, bad boy."

Duncan also glared at Chris, and then at Mike. "I choose number 2. That's a good number."

"Question number 2. Ok Duncan, which ferret cried for a week after their hamster died, but stopped after finding out she wasn't dead, only slept a lot." Said Chris trying to not laugh.

Duncan raised a side of his unibrow, the wound on his eyebrow making him wince. What the fuck was with the questions? And that was the best secret he could find?

Anyway, it was hard, the twin probably not, if she was as evil as the cheerleader said. But from the other 6, it could be anyone. All looked like crybabies or weirdos that could not realize the damn rat was alive. So he just tried to guess.

"I choose the redhead." Said Duncan pointing at Lilly. To his surprise, he heard the bell that indicated she was the correct answer.

"Wow, correct. Lilly, what happened? Aren't you supposed to be good with animals?" said Chris looking at her with a big grin and raising both eyebrows.

"I-I-I was just, too scared, and she didn't move, so- *sniff*." Lilly was stuttering and sniffing after remembering that episode, her words becoming lower and more incoherent as she explained.

"Anyway, we have 2 correct answers, so what will you do? Keep your point or fight each other in the Chrisdome," said Chris looking excited at the 2 contestants.

Mike hesitated, he didn't want to fight Zoey's friends, but Duncan wasn't so considerate.

"I will bet them," said Duncan walking down into the arena.

"So, What will it be, Mike? If you retire now, you will keep your 5 points and may give 15 to the foxes." Said Chris, carefully choosing his word to blame him in case he didn't accept.

"I'll also bet my points," said Mike sighing defeated, and walking slowly into the arena.

"Great! Now the score is 35-20, and Mike and Duncan will fight. If the delinquent wins, they will be a tie, but if the former multiple Mike wins, the foxes' fate will be almost sealed. What will happen? Find out next time here. On Total Drama: Tyranny of the masses.

[1] Venatio was a spectacle in ancient Rome in which expert hunters had to fight the beast in the coliseum. It was a halftime entertainment during gladiators' fights.

There are still 6 more questions to be asked and 6 more secrets to reveal. What will happen in the next episode? Who will win, Mike or Duncan? And who will be eliminated tonight? Find out on our next episode of Total Drama Tyranny of the Masses.

And the challenge is 2/3 done. Are the secrets what you expected? Do you think they will affect the competition? I wanted to do something similar to the secret episodes in ROTI but with an element of physical competition. I hope you enjoy it.
