beanoamy: I'm glad you liked the episode. I am honestly quite proud of the elimination and the after credits. If Aleheather are together they are playing well.
gman5846: Yes, poor Zoey. But at least she took Heather's immunity idol with her.
Tempokeep: Yes, I think the situation will get interesting on the foxes' side, and we may getting the merge soon. We will need to wait and see what happens.
harmony735: I wonder if you are right about the man that attacked Chris? We will find out next.
Guest: Here is another cool theory. Dave definitely fills both criteria if he is still bald after the show.
Aleheather4ever: Ok, let's see if they are working together. What is their plan? Because Heather seemed to be gunning at him since the beginning ;)
heyimrat: I wanted to left it as an after credit. I hope every reader saw it
And as always, a BIG shoutout and THANKS to Geofics, who helps me proofread the episodes. These words can't express my gratitude. Thanks a lot.

Zeeking Revenge Part 1
Last time on Total Drama, Tyranny of the Masses, we have the most awesome relay race EVER, the Omnirace. Both teams had to run in a 7 legs race running, swimming, climbing, and many more '-ings' I already explained in the past episode.
For the last leg Mike and Courtney had to compete in an antigravity race running upside down using the wonderful Super Velcro(tm) boots. Remember, you can buy these awesome boots and the super Velcro loops for only $199.95. Just remember never to separate both legs from the velcro surface at the same time.
And after one of the most exciting races EVER, Mike got the victory for the ferrets. This was a fine irony because that caused his girlfriend Zoey to be eliminated, but on her way out of the island, she took Heather's immunity idol with her.
What will happen with the foxes now that they are more divided than ever? And can Mike overcome his girlfriend elimination? Find it right now here on Total Drama Tyranny of the Masses.
Steve, the chubby intern with glasses, cleared his throat and looked at Chef. "*Ehem* how was my impersonation of Mister McLean?"
"Good Enough," said Chef frowning angrily, "now where did he go?"
"Logan and the other interns are looking for Mr. McLean in yesterday's recordings. Maybe he's preparing the next challenge?" replied Steve, now talking in his normal voice.
Chef huffed, leaning on his chair and pressing the bridge of his nose with his fingers. "I hope so but I have a bad feeling. My right thumb toe hurt and that is usually a bad sign. But whatever, they don't pay me enough to be Chris' babysitter. Call me when you found something."
Steve nodded as Chef left the recording room. Today he and the rest of the interns will be working unpaid overtime again.
It was half an hour before sunrise. On the ferret's boy cabin one of the guys wake up. He had a wonderful biological clock and didn't need an alarm. Even then he used to put two alarms each morning as a backup, just in case. But on this island he doesn't have that kind of amenities.
Usually, he or Shawn were the first ones to wake up each morning. Mike always wake up late, at least since he came to the ferrets, and Topher wasn't a morning person either. Today he woke up before Shawn but that didn't change his routine. He took his clothes and went out of the cabins and into the bathrooms.
There he took off his sleeping mask and took a shower. His body hurt a lot, especially his arm. During the past challenge once again, he overdid it.
Since the show started he tried to live to the image of Dramaman, the action man Chris tried to sell to the audience. But it was too much for him and too soon. His debut was supposed to be in the 8th season but suddenly he had to replace a contestant this season.
He felt the water on his naked face, this was the only time of the day he was without any mask. He hoped in vain the shower could wash away his uncertainties.
And to make things worse, everyone thought he was a physical contestant. Why? He should be one of the team's weakest men after Max and maybe Topher. Even then he had done quite well in the challenges, better than he expected, and made lots of friends, Topher, Mike, Sammy, Brick, Shawn, and Sky.
After going out of the shower he looked at his image in the mirror. He was supposed to be a producer's pet but already had second thoughts. Maybe he should tell his friends the truth and be eliminated. He was already in the 12th challenge. Wasn't it enough?
He put on his daily mask and his wrestling uniform before going to the forest to start his daily training. Maybe sweating a little would clean those negative thoughts from his mind.
Sometime later, Dramaman was at the woods entrance and had begun his warm-up when Shawn appeared. Since Sammy switched teams the Zombie expert usually came a little earlier than the wrestler. Today was an exception.
Shawn looked around making sure there were no zombies around. "Good morning Dramaman, already warming up?"
"Yes, never to earlier," replied the wrestler, facing toward him. "And what happened to you? You usually wake up earlier."
Shawn cracked his neck. "I got too tired after yesterday's challenge. Climbing that wall was harder than I expected. It seems my body needed more rest to recover."
"Yesterday was a really harsh challenge," said Dramaman stretching his arm. "I need to thank Sky again for saving me. I owe her one," his voice sounded sweeter than usual, something that didn't go unnoticed by Shawn.
"You're not falling for her, are you?" asked the conspiranoic with a dark expression on his face.
The wrestler panicked, putting his arms in front of him defensibly. "O-Of course not. She's pretty and great at everything she tries. But l-like her? I…"
"That's good then," Shawn sighed, still with a small frown on his face. "If you fall in love with Sky, please let her resolve some unfinished business on this island before telling her your feelings."
"Unfinished business?" asked Dramaman in his deep voice.
Shawn looked at him. Should he tell Dramaman about it? He trusted him so there should be no problem telling him the truth. "She and I came back looking for a friend, Dave. If you watched the Pakhitew season you should know him."
"Are you looking for Dave? Why? Didn't he betrayed you and accepted to hinder you in the final?" asked Dramaman throwing his arms in the air.
"He was distressed and heartbroken so I don't blame him. And he's my friend. He was the one that showed me that living alone in the apocalypse wasn't worthy and to accept my feelings for Jas. There is no way I'll leave him behind," replied Shawn, his eyes and voice filled with passion.
The masked man tilted his head and leaned against a tree, "maybe he's ashamed after his tantrum on the final and went into hiding."
"Maybe, but I don't think so. Dave's stronger than he seems," said Shawn adjusting his toque. "Also, Chris told Sky and me that he's on this island. So I'll find him."
"Chris said he is on the island?" asked the wrestler, shocked by the news. "I didn't hear anything about it."
Shawn shrugged, "Chris probably didn't want to tell everyone because this is, of course, illegal. It's not a surprise he only told the people concerned with his disappearance. Now I'll take my leave, I have some places to look in the mountains. If you fall in love with Sky, wait until she resolves her issues with Dave before telling her."
And like that the conspiranoic left a still shocked Dramaman. This was too absurd to be true. It seemed he'll need to talk with Chris before cleaning the cabin with Mik and Toph.
Confessional: Shawn
The zombie expert had his arms folded and a thoughtful expression. "I decided to trust Dramaman. The guy gave me his immunity idol, know his part about zombies, and train with us daily. Yes, I think he may be a production's mole, but that could be the key to find Dave. So I'm betting on him. Hehe, A year ago I wouldn't make a bet like this. Jas, thank you for teaching me how to trust in others."
At the foxes cabin, a man was going out ready to start his daily routine. Every morning he used to felt pumped and positive, but not today. Brick felt a heavy tightness in his chest, and it was not only because of Zoey's elimination.
"Buenos días amigo[1]!" said Alejandro smiling charmingly. He was wearing his red tracksuit and had his hair in a small ponytail like each morning.
Brick nodded, with a sad expression, "good morning," he replied briefly while starting to warm-up.
"Sorry about Zoey's elimination," apologized Alejandro in a sad tone that surprised the cadet.
"But, didn't you voted for her?" asked Brick shocked. He was sure Alejandro voted for her.
The Spaniard nodded, "Yes, I luckily vote for her. Because if you and I didn't vote for her I would be a goner right now. Thank you my friend."
Brick gulped audibly. He didn't expect that Alejandro didn't realize he voted against him. In fact he betrayed Alejandro. But the cadet would not run away from his responsibility.
"Sorry Alejandro," Brick looked ashamed at the ground. "But I didn't vote for Zoey. I voted for Heather."
The Spaniard looked at him as if he was slapped on the face. "Oh? Of course, Zoey's also your friend. Sorry I just assumed you vote with me."
"NO! Please don't apologize. You just did your best to stay in the game," replied the cadet rubbing his neck.
"So," Alejandro made a small pause looking for the correct words. "Are we still friends? Can I join you in your daily routine?"
"OF COURSE! I mean, if you're ok with joining me. I thought you'll be angry after what happened yesterday," replied the cadet, surprised by Alejandro's reaction.
"Angry? Why?" The Spaniard tilted his head, "because you did what you consider was the best? Man, I'll not judge for that. Especially when you have to choose between two friends. It has to be hard. I'm sure you took the best decision you could."
Brick smiled and nodded, "Thanks, Alejandro. Your words mean a lot." He had to make an extra effort to not cry touched by his friend's words.
They then warmed-up and started jogging. Both friends talked about yesterday's challenge, the horrible food of Chef (that Brick actually thinks it's not that bad,) and about fashion. Alejandro was actually surprised that the cadet knew so much about fashion and color theory.
After running half the way through their daily routine, they stopped to rest for a moment before going back to the encampment to eat breakfast.
"Amigo, there is something that has been bugging me. But I'm afraid to ask you because maybe it's a touchy subject," said Alejandro, looking at the cadet with sad eyes.
"Don't worry Alejandro. Go ahead and ask me. Only if it's a too personal matter I may not answer it," answered Brick, smiling and blushing a little.
The Spaniard also smiled, a charming smile as always. "Why did you vote for Heather? She didn't do particularly bad in the challenge."
"Oh? Well, I didn't want to vote for you, Zoey, or Sammy, as you are all my friends. So I thought she was appropriate because I almost didn't talk with her, nothing personal," replied Brick, scratching his cheek. He was a bad liar but he didn't want to betray Courtney or even Duncan.
"Really?" Alejandro raised an eyebrow, "I don't doubt you, but it's quite the coincidence that you and at least another 2 people voted for her, isn't it?"
"Hehehe, yes, it's a big coincidence," Brick darted his eyes back and forth nervously.
The Spaniard walked toward him, his green eyes piercing the cadet, "Brick, we're friends. If someone talked you into voting for her I wouldn't blame you. It's already in the past. Be honest with me, who told you to vote for Heather?"
Brick began to sweat, he didn't know why but he replied, "No one. As I told you I voted for her because I really don't know her that well. Nothing personal."
"Really? Even with Courtney and Duncan on the team you chose Heather that also was the most voted contestant yesterday?" asked Alejandro his eyes focused on the cadet.
"Yes, I was nervous, and Heather popped in my mind as my first option," replied Brick rubbing his neck more nervously than before.
Alejandro made a small smile and shrugged. "I have to say I'm lucky of that coincidence because if you had voted for anyone else, we would be in a triple tie. And Heather would not have a chance against Zoey."
"That's true," replied Brick rubbing his chin, "but that wouldn't matter because Heather would use her immunity idol anyway."
"Yes, the immunity idol. With all that happened yesterday I forgot she used it," said Alejandro, hammering his hand with his fist. "You're right my friend. It wouldn't change anything. She's a lucky deviless. In the All-star season she also found one immunity idol. I wish I had her luck."
Brick felt a shiver down his spine and asked absentmindedly. "But you're also lucky. I mean, you also found some immunity idols during the shows?"
"No, not even once. The one I used in the All-Stars season was found by Heather," replied Alejandro nonchalantly. He then looked at the sky, "It seems we rest enough. Let's keep jogging to the dining hall."
"Of course," replied Brick saluting. Then both keep doing their routine, but in Brick's mind something didn't make sense.
Confessional: Brick
The cadet was frowning at the camera with a distressed expression, "I don't want to believe it but I think Alejandro is lying to me. He had an immunity idol but now he told me he never found one. That can only mean 2 things, and none of them are pleasant. It seems I'll need to be careful around my 'friend.'"
In the ferrets' cabin Mike and Topher were cleaning as in past days. The host wannabe looked with a sad expression at his tall friend, who was washing the floor basically by himself.
The guy with spiky hair was running from one side of the cabin to the other, cleaning the floor with a rag while singing. "Pronto a far tutto, la notte e il giorno, sempre d'intorno in giro sta. Miglior cuccagna per un barbiere, vita piu nobile, no, non si da. La la la la la la la la la la la la la![2]"
"You don't have to force yourself," said Topher, in a sad tone, "if you want to take a rest, Draman and I can take care of cleaning the cabin."
Mike stopped, wring out the rag on the bucket, and looked at Topher, "I'm fine. Better than fine. At this moment I feel I can win 1 or 2 Total Drama seasons."
"You don't have to lie Mik. We're friends," Topher stood up and walked toward him. "There is no way you're ok after Zoey's elimination."
There was an awkward silence. Mike looked at the ground while rubbing his arm. "I know what you mean but last night I cried my part. Yes I'm sad but at least I could talk with her and say goodbye. Now I want to focus on winning."
"You're really awesome man," exclaimed, Topher patting Mike's shoulder, "I really want to learn to be more like you. You always seem so confident and that you can do anything. You are like the perfect man."
"Nothing like that. I'm far from perfect. In fact, I'm always afraid of falling apart," replied Mike, looking at his reflection in the bucket's water.
The host wannabe tilted his head, "Don't say that. If something is bothering you don't bottle it, you can talk to Draman and me. And together I'm sure we can help you."
Mike blushed, rubbing his arm again, "Thanks Topher. I really mean it thanks." The host wannabe didn't have any way to know how reassuring his words were for the former multiple Mike, and how grateful he was. Mike wanted to pay Topher kindness, but how?
They keep cleaning, changed the sheets of the 4 beds currently occupied, washed the floor, and dusted. But the masked man never appeared.
"It's weird, Draman is never late to clean. You think something happened?" asked Topher while removing the cloth protecting his hair from the dust.
"I'll go to look for him," replied Mike stretching out. "I want to walk a little after spending so much time crouched washing the floor."
Before the pretty boy could answer the guy with spiky hair ran out of the cabin to look for their friend, leaving a stunned Topher scratching his head.
"Mik really wanted to look for him," said Topher shrugging.
Confessional: Topher
The host wannabe was combing his hair before talking to the camera. "I'm worried for Mik. Last night he was very upset about Zoey elimination but today is like nothing happened. I think he is bottling up all his negative feelings. But if he doesn't want to talk about it. What can I do? I need to find an answer."
Sitting in the shadow of a Tree, Courtney was rereading Pride and Prejudice. The romantic novel impressed her a lot. It wasn't useful or will help her achieve better notes, but she really enjoyed reading it. It was a warm and strange feeling doing something just for pleasure. And there was something in Elizabeth, the protagonist, that fascinated her.
But the sound of steps took her out of her thoughts. It wasn't a surprise. In fact the Latin girl was expecting her.
"Hello, Heather, did you sleep well?" asked Courtney in a polite tone looking at her 'friend' face.
Heather was frowning and giving Courtney a stern look just as the Latin girl expected.
"What happened yesterday Courtney?" asked the Queen Bee in a direct and harsh tone.
"Sorry you need to be more specific. I'm not following you," replied Courtney raising an eyebrow.
The Latin girl knew what she was talking about. It was about the elimination. But she was also angry with Heather so she decided to bother her if she could.
"Don't play innocent with me Courtney. You know what I'm talking about," shouted Heather glaring at her. "YOU BETRAYED ME YESTERDAY!"
The former C.I.T closed her book and stood up. "Betrayed you!? What are you talking about?"
"We all agree to vote Al. We have FOUR votes and somehow I was the one eliminated! I had to use my immunity idol to stay in the game," shouted the Queen Bee jabbing her finger against Courtney's chest.
The Latin girl slapped her hand. "Oh yes that's right, the immunity 'dol you never mentioned to US your supposed ALLIES. The same you didn't use to save Cody three days ago."
"I just found it yesterday and didn't have time to tell you," replied Heather tossing her braid. "But anyway, without it I would join Cody in the elimination list. And I want to know why did you betray me? Did Alejandro talked you into it? Or was your revenge because I wanted to vote Zoey?"
"Neither. My vote was for Alejandro as we agreed," replied Courtney looking at Heather's eyes. It was true, after all, she voted for the Spaniard.
The Queen Bee scoffed and rolled her eyes. "If that's true, with 4 votes, Alejandro would be now out of the island FOREVER. So I had either 3 or 5 votes and Al and Zoey tied at 2 or 1 votes each."
"So, you're saying Zoey and Sammy voted for you?" asked Courtney raising an eyebrow.
"Sammy, you said," replied Heather, touching her braid. "I don't think so. That girl is smart and honest. She wouldn't betray us."
The former C.I.T tapped her chin. "She surely didn't vote for you. But maybe she voted for Zoey while Zoey voted for you. The other 3 would vote either Zoey or you."
"Why Zoey would vote for me after you told her to vote Al?" asked Heather her eyes piercing her teammate.
"I don't know. Right now, everything we say is pure speculation," Courtney shrugged, "We only know for sure that you and I voted Alejandro."
The Asian girl sighed, and her expression softened from an angry to a sad frown, "Yes Court, you're right. I'm sorry, I was just upset after yesterday and was looking for culprits. Are we still friends?"
Saying this Heather gave Courtney a hug. The Latin girl also hugged her. It was an awkward moment.
"I don't remember we were friends," replied Courtney in a snarky tone.
"You making a joke? Court, you're changing," said Heather, tears running across her face.
Then both let go and looked into the other eyes trying to read them.
"I'll go back to the dining hall. Want to come?" asked Heather while walking away.
"No thanks. I want to finish my book and this place is ideal to read," said Courtney while sitting again.
Each girl went on her way. Both knew that from this moment on they couldn't trust the other.
Confessional: Courtney
"If Heather thought I believed a word of what she said or her fake tears, she would be out of the game some rounds ago. Heather clearly didn't find an idol yesterday, so either Brick lied to us or Heather used Alejandro's immunity idol. But why? Aren't they enemies? Unless…" Courtney's thought about it, but there was no chance Heather would do that.
Confessional: Heather
"That Courtney is a terrible liar. She probably voted for Alejandro but it's obvious she organize the others to vote against me. But why? Did she decide to backstab me before I could backstab her? Or she realized something? Anyway next time we lose she's out of the game. I only need 1 more vote and I know where to get it," said Heather making a sadistic smile while tossing her braid.
Meanwhile Dramaman was walking down the woods' road. He went to talk with Chris but the host didn't want to talk with him. Chef told him that Chris was busy and will call him later. Typical Chris, he is always bothering except when you need him.
The masked man was immersed in his thoughts when he heard someone shouting at him.
"Draman! I found you at last," it was Mike making a wide smile that showed the gap between his teeth.
"Mik, what are you doing here?" asked Dramaman in his deep voice.
The guy with Spiky hair held his friend's hand. "I was looking for you. Come with me!"
Before the wrestler could protest he was taken into the woods.
After walking a little Mike stopped, releasing the perplexed Dramaman's hand.
"Ok what do you want?" asked Dramaman adjusting his glove.
Mike looked at him his eyes sparkling. "You know how Topher has been helping us all along with the challenges and outside of them, right?"
The wrestler took a moment to think about it. Topher was usually in charge of organizing the challenges and cleaning the cabin was his idea. It wasn't like he did A LOT for the team but it was true he helped. Dramaman nodded in agreement.
"Well, after what happened yesterday. I realize how important is love in our lives," said Mike putting a hand over his chest. "I'm lucky because Zoey and I are already together. But if not I would have lost my chance to tell her my feelings yesterday."
Dramaman nodded, but he didn't like the direction this was taking.
"So I want to help Toph to tell his feelings to Sammy before one of them is eliminated," exclaimed Mike in a triumphant tone.
There was a small silence. Dramaman frowned so hard that he was sure it was visible outside his mask but he tried to be polite. "Are you sure it's a good idea to get involved in their love life? We aren't exactly cupids."
"I'm sure. I only ended with Zoey thanks to Cameron and Dawn that meddled in our affairs," said Mike, winking, "let me tell you my plan…"
"Wait, are you crazy?" someone interrupted them as Mike was about to tell his plan.
From the woods came out Sky glaring at both men.
"What are you doing so deep in the forest?" asked Mike raising an eyebrow.
"I-I was in the middle of my daily routine," lied the Cree girl but she did a poor job at it. "But anyway, I'm sorry for eavesdropping but that is a terrible idea."
Mike looked at her with wide eyes. "Sorry but I think it's a great idea. Topher really likes her but he needs a push. What I am saying is that we should give him that push. What is the problem with that?"
"That you are ignoring Sammy's feelings on the matter," replied Sky stomping her foot in the ground. "What if she doesn't like him?"
Both men looked at the Cree girl without saying a word. Mike rubbed his arm ashamed of not realizing something so basic. Dramaman nodded. This was exactly why he thought it was a bad idea.
"You're right. I'm sorry I didn't think about Sammy's feelings," replied Mike looking sadly at the ground.
Dramaman knew he will regret it in the morning but he talked anyway. "Then we just need to find out Sammy's feelings before pushing Toph, right? I'll do it."
"Eh? NO! You can just walk to her and ask Sammy something so personal like that," shouted Sky in a distressed tone. "She may not have realized her own feeling yet and pressing her will only ruin their chances."
"Or maybe talking with her will make Sammy realize she has feelings for Topher or at least think about it," replied the masked man.
Sky couldn't believe how stubborn they were. "But things aren't that easy. What if she likes him but for some reason she can't answer his feelings?"
"Then she just has to tell him that and hope he understands, but Topher will wait for her. He's that kind of guy," replied Dramaman. His voice didn't sound as confident as before.
"I still think it's a bad idea," replied the gymnast sighing, "but let me ask her. I think it's better that I do it instead of you because I'm her friend. No offense."
"Non taken," said Mike rubbing his neck. Dramaman nodding behind him.
Sky sighed and rubbed her neck, unconsciously imitating Mike. "I'll try to talk with Sammy tonight. Please don't do anything until I get her answer, ok?"
Both nodded. Dramaman just realized how weird all this situation had become.
"Then see you later," replied Sky going back into the woods.
"It seems we're lucky Draman. With Sky's help there is no way our plan can fail," Said Mike confidently, patting Dramaman back.
The wrestler just looked at him silently, wondering if he was listening to the conversation with Sky.
Confessional: Dramaman
The wrestler was leaning forward with his head between his hand. "And how did I get into this mess? I'm terrible with all things related to love and romance. How am I supposed to help someone when I am unable to help myself?"
It was already night. Most of the campers have come back to the cabins but one of the exceptions was Brick. After coming back from running with Alejandro the soldier began to walk around the island. He has a lot to think about.
When he realized he was back again at the dock. The same in which yesterday he met with Zoey and betrayed Alejandro. He felt guilty because both were his friends. But after talking with Spaniard today he wasn't sure anymore
But the dock wasn't empty. Sitting there looking at the night sky was Duncan. The delinquent smirked when he noticed the cadet.
"If it's G. ! What are you doing here?" asked Duncan his tone a mix of mockery and surprise.
"My name's Brick. Please stop using monikers instead of my name," replied Brick, lowering his unibrow, "And to be honest, I'm not sure. I was just walking around and I ended here."
The delinquent laughed. "Drop the act G.I. Joe you aren't at the military academy anymore. And you should be careful of not walking around and end inside the girls' cabins," he replied winking.
"I'm not sure if you are joking but there is no act to drop," said Brick in a stern tone, "and you? what are you doing here?"
"This? This is my favorite place to think. I like to sit here by myself when I need to be alone," answered Duncan. It was a half-truth. Actually it was Zoey's favorite place but he decided to take it after her elimination.
Brick shook his head and looked into the lake. The moon illuminated the calm lake and reflected the stars like a mirror. It was indeed an excellent place to think.
"And?" Duncan interrupted him taking the cadet out of his thoughts, "Are you thinking about Red elimination?"
"How did you know that?" asked Brick taken aback by the delinquent question.
Duncan just smirked and looked into Brick's eyes. "You're an open book, man, you're the kind of honest, gullible and easy to manipulate guy."
"Yes I get that a lot," replied Brick sitting near Duncan letting his legs hang over the water, "But I prefer to be a person that trusts than a person who doesn't."
"You'll not get too far in the game with that mentality," Duncan chuckled.
Brick looked at him with a stern gaze. "And mocking and betraying will?"
"I won this game after backstabbing my girlfriend in the best 4. Heather win her season betraying that jerk of Alejandro, No that he didn't deserve it. So the short answer is yes, that mentality helps you win," replied Duncan glaring at the cadet.
There was a small silence. Brick looked at him with wide eyes, which then turned in a sad frown. "Then I guess I'll not win. I prefer to lose a million dollars than betraying my principles."
"Your loss. More money for us," replied Duncan, but he wasn't smiling, "but maybe being like you can be nice. Are you happy like that?"
The cadet nodded confidently, "of course. I sleep like a baby all night with a clear conscience," then he frowned, "And you? Are you happy living like that? Betraying others made you happy?"
That was a strange question. Duncan ran his hand across his mohawk. "That is truly a stupid question, G.I. Joe. I think it's getting late so I'll go back to the cabins."
Duncan stood up and Brick followed him. "Are you avoiding the question?"
"Maybe, or maybe I find it funnier to mess with you not answering." Replied the delinquent, winking.
The cadet walked alongside him not wanting to be alone in the dark night. "Why are you always like that? It'll not hurt you to be friendly."
The delinquent answer was sticking his tongue out showing his piercing, then continued walking to the cabins. Both men remained quiet for the rest of the trip. Brick was wondering if Duncan was really a jerk or was trying to hide something.
And in the shadows someone was watching them, waiting for Brick to be alone to talk with him. Sadly for her this never happened. Maybe tomorrow she will have a chance.
Confessional: Duncan
He was smoking and frowning at the camera. Duncan blew the smoke out of his nose some escaping through his piercing. "Betraying others will never make you happy. For a moment it's exhilarating. You felt like getting back at them. But after that you realize there is a price to pay for betrayal. And believe me it's not pretty."
Sammy was walking in the woods going back to the cabins. She was training alone near the river. Usually Sky, Shawn, or Dramaman were around but not today. She then went to look for Amy to talk about the poetry incident. She wanted to continue the conversation they started in yesterday's challenge. She hated and resented her sister but there was something more, something she needed to make sure.
But sadly she couldn't found her either. Lilly told her she didn't know where Amy went and after looking for her unsuccessfully for a time, the younger twin decided to go back to the cabins.
"It's like everyone is avoiding me today," said Sammy under her breath before kicking a stone. Then she looked at someone crouching next to a rock, hid by a bush.
The younger twin walked toward the person and to her surprise it was Topher. He was looking at a strange device like a tablet made of trash connected to the stone with a cable.
"What are you doing?" asked Sammy leaning forward, trying to see what was Topher seeing in the display.
The host wannabe almost had a heart attack. He wasn't as savvy about these things as Charlotte and he thought for a moment that Chris discovered him. But for his surprise, it was-
"Sammy? What are you doing here?" asked Topher trying to put the contraption behind him.
"I was looking for someone but is already late so I was going back to the cabins," explained the younger twin without giving more details. "And you? What are you doing here? It's that a mobile? Aren't those forbidden during the show?"
The host wannabe scratched his head. He didn't want anyone to find out. But if it was Sammy there wouldn't be any problem, right?
"I was just looking at this," said Topher, showing her the display. "You know the island is mechanical. With this device, I can connect to the computer system."
Sammy covered here mouth, blanching. "Are you cheating with that?"
"Of course not!" replied Topher in an outraged tone, "As if this thing could do something so fancy. I can at most turn on and off some cameras, and see some menus but nothing more."
Saying this, he disconnected the contraption from the tree.
"If you can't do anything with it, why are you using it? Can't you get in trouble if Chris catches you?" asked Sammy in a worried tone, tilting her head.
Topher shrugged, "Charlotte left it to me before being eliminated. She believed it could be the key to win this game. Now about how she planned to do it I don't have any idea."
"Did you and Charlotte were you know dating and stuff?" asked Sammy. She was always a little awkward when talking with a guy she liked. And didn't realize what she was saying until she already said it.
She blushed a lot and tried to make some damage control. "Please forget I asked that. I know it's a weird question."
"No, no, no. I mean, Charlotte is attractive but we didn't have that kind of relationship. In fact, the last days before her elimination she ignored me," replied Topher blushing. Maybe this was his chance. "Also, there is someone else I like."
Sammy felt as if a dagger pierced her heart. It was obvious Topher would have someone special. He's handsome and funny and didn't have an obnoxious sister ruining his life. Someone boring and plain like her didn't stand a chance.
But before they could continue their conversations they were startled by some noises coming from the woods. Topher hid the contraption in the trunk of a tree in a swift movement.
"Who is there?" asked Sammy. It was late but maybe it was Brick or Sky coming back from their training.
But instead of a camper something else came from the woods. The giant creature looked down on both ferrets.
"What is that?" asked Sammy looking with wide eyes at the animal.
"It can't be!" stuttered Topher. He was scared but there was no way for both of them to escape. So he took a branch and hold it like a club."SAMMY RUN AWAY! I will distract it."
"There is no way I'll leave you behind," replied Sammy in a distressed tone.
But before Topher could answer, another two animals like the first one appeared. They were surrounded. Nobody was close enough to hear their screams or their struggle.
At the cabins, everyone had already eaten their dinner and were going to sleep. At least that was the plan.
One of the twins was sitting in front of the ferrets' cabins looking at her opponents' ones while frowning.
"Amy, it's starting to get cold out here. Why you don't come inside?" asked Lilly in her low voice.
The older twin rolled her eyes. "Lilly I'm moon bathing a little. I'll go inside later."
As they talked, someone came from the foxes' cabins. The Asian girl was also scowling. She looked down at Amy and Lilly and then smirked. "Good Evening, Amanda. It's your sister here? It's almost midnight and she didn't come back."
"No, she isn't here. I wonder what is she doing?" replied Amy in a bitter tone.
"Draman and Toph aren't here either," said Mike coming out of the boy's cabin, followed by Shawn. "Maybe be they are together."
"THAT CAN'T BE!" shouted Sky coming out from the girl's cabin. "We agree that you would wait until I talk with her."
Mike looked at the Cree girl with wide eyes shaking his head. "Sky, I'm sure this isn't a good moment to discuss that."
All the eyes were upon her, some looking with shock and others with annoyance.
"Sorry," replied Sky blushing, she then said under her breath, "but just wait until that masked man comes back. He will hear me."
Amy glared at Mike and Sky. There was something really suspicious about them. But before she could talk they were interrupted by an unexpected visitor.
It was a young man, tanned skinned like Mike, dressed in a yellow shirt, blue vest, brown pants, and black sneakers. He was completely bald, and his face was contorted in an angry visage.
But what really surprised most of them was that he was riding a giant furless rodent.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?" yelled Heather, falling backward. All the remaining foxes came out of the cabins after hearing her.
Mike looked at it with wide eyes. "A giant gopher? But that is impossible."
But for Shawn and Sky, the young man over the gopher was more shocking than the mutant abomination. It was Dave.
"Contestants, I came in the name of my master! Tell your tormentors that you have 24 hours to give us the million prize or you'll not see the pretty boy or the cheerleader again," said Dave in a sour tone. "And if you try to ask help from outside the island, they and McLean will be eliminated FOREVER."
"Dave, man is that you?" asked Shawn not believing what he was seeing.
The bald man smiled but the frown on his face didn't disappear. "Shawn? You have some nerve to show your face after abandoning me. You fake friend."
"Stop doing this Dave. What happen to you?" asked Sky jumping from the cabins and standing in front of Shawn. Her eyes filled with tears.
"YOU WITCH!" shouted Dave smiling like a madman. "I can't believe my luck! You came back so I can have my revenge. I'll make you pay for using and throwing me."
But before she could answer two darts hit the giant gopher in the side.
The beast startled by the attack ran away.
"WAIT! Stupid beast WAIT," shouted Dave as the gopher disappeared into the woods.
But before anyone could chase after him, Chef appeared with some scared-looking interns, shouting "DON'T MOVE!"
The ferrets and the foxes surrounded the big man. "Only nine? Where are the others?"
"I'm here," shouted Dramaman, coming out from the woods.
"That bald freak said that he took Topher and Samey and that he wants the million dollars in exchange for them," said Amy in a harsh tone. "Typical Samey, getting in troubles."
"HE'S NOT A FREAK!" shouted Sky glaring at the twin. "And Chef, what was that? Did you knew Dave was here?"
Chef rolled his eyes and scratched his head. "I don't know anything. But those guys not only took your friends, but they also took Chris into the depths of the island. So…"
"So you will ask US to go and save them? Are you crazy?" asked Courtney, raising an eyebrow.
"We can't get help from the outside and we don't have time. So we can give them the million and cancel the show. Or you can go and save them. Your choice," replied Chef scowling at them.
Then Steve, the chubby intern, gave Chef a big suitcase. "Here we have flashlights, some maps and helmets. One for each of you."
"I can't believe it. How is that Samey always gets in trouble?" said Amy taking a flashlight and a helmet from Chef.
Lilly looked at her with wide eyes, blanching. "Wait Amy. Are you really going down there?"
"My parents will kill me if I go back home while Samey was eaten by gophers. So yes I'll go and make those freaks wish they were never born," said Amy glaring in the direction Dave ran away.
"You can't go alone. It's dangerous," said Brick, and after a moment, he took a flashlight.
Amy raised an eyebrow. "Are you crazy? It's not secure down there! You don't need to risk your life for Samey."
"But I can't leave you, Samey or Topher behind," said Brick putting his helmet, "so please let me join this mission."
Mike threw the helmet into the air and catch it with his head on in a swift movement, "yes, mate, don't be cold. We also want to help you save your sister."
"Don't be stupid. Who says I wanted to save her?" replied Amy blushing.
Lilly timidly took a helmet not wanting to leave Amy. But they weren't the only campers who decided to go.
"I'm coming too," said Sky grabbing a helmet. "I want to know what happened to Dave."
"Are you crazy? This isn't a challenge. It's dangerous down there!" shouted Dramaman in a distressed tone."
Courtney looked at the wrestler after he shouted and her eyes went wide. How could she be so stupid? And thanks to that she made a decision.
Meanwhile Shawn put a hand on Dramaman shoulder. "This time I'm with Sky. Now that I found Dave, I'll not go back without him."
"Then I'll go with you, but this is a terrible idea," said the wrestler scratching the back of his mask.
There was a small silence as the seven contestants were preparing to go into the island. But then someone else walked toward the co-host.
"Chef, give me a helmet and a flashlight. I'm going too," said Courtney in a neutral tone.
"Make them two," said Duncan, smirking. "I just hope it doesn't ruin my hairstyle."
The Latin girl glared at him, "You don't have to come with me. I can take care of myself."
"I don't know what you're talking about, princess. I was about to ask for a helmet. You just did it first," replied Duncan winking.
While they were bickering the last contestants were also making their decision.
"What do you want to do?" asked Alejandro in a lower and more serious tone than usual.
"Is there any doubt? This time we're in a great position to get the million. We can't let them end the season," whispered Heather tossing her braid.
Alejandro shrugged, "I just hope we don't regret this tomorrow."
Then Heather run toward Chef. "Court? Are you crazy? You can't go in there alone. Chef, give me a helmet."
"Heather? Are you sure?" asked Courtney surprised by the Queen Bee decision.
"Of course! We're friends. If you risk your life stupidly, I'll be at your side," replied Heather who then glared at Duncan.
The delinquent reply was just winking at her.
"Then, I guess, I'll also go," said Alejandro casually, taking a helmet.
"You can stay behind Al. We don't need you," shouted Heather scowling at the Spaniard.
He just smiled tenderly, "Heather I just want to protect you. I would give my life for you."
"Then Die," replied Heather scoffing. Duncan chuckled at the smart remark.
Chef smiled, showing the gap between his teeth. "Thanks everyone. Remember, the most important thing is rescue Chris," he made a small pause, "and the other hostages. So good luck and come back safe."
The contestants began to walk toward the entrance to the subterranean caverns. Leaving Chef and Steve behind.
"Do you think they will be fine?" asked Steve adjusting his glasses.
"Maybe," said Chef, shrugging, "But their helmets have trackers and a micro camera, so if they fail we'll know exactly where they are hiding, and then we can go and rescue them. Also they will probably be more useful than the interns."
Steve nodded. "I'll not discuss that. At least I don't think any of us would voluntarily offer themselves like that."
"Let's go back to the control room. We need to watch them. Also, get the Scuba Bear on stand by. We may need it later." Said Chef. Steve nodded and then ran back to the control room.
Chef stood there. He still had a bad feeling about this. But he hoped to be wrong.
