harmony735: Thanks, I'm glad you found it interesting.

AleHeather: As you say, maybe Duncan is playing with fire, but with 6 foxes on the team things can get ugly for him if he doesn't get another ally.

quinnietftw: Thanks I really loved all the Dramaman plotline. I'm happy that you also liked it.

beanoamy: I'm sure the carnival will be fun, maybe not for everyone but it will be fun XD.

Dannycs: I also like Sammy and Duncan's interactions, but it may be hard for them to be friends with Heather over their case.

Life is like a carnival Part 2

In the last episode of Total Drama, Tyranny of the masses. The fair came to town, and the contestants had to take part in the most Wonderful, Thrilling, and Dangerous Fair in the whole World, The Awesome Total Drama Carnival of Pain.

What surprises and mysteries are hidden in the fair? What do the campers need to do to win the immunity in tonight's elimination? And how can your host look so handsome in any costume he wears? Find out the answers to all these questions and more here in Total Drama Tyranny of the masses.

The organ's song filled the air and the clouds covered the island making it unnatural dark. The eerie fairground was illuminated only by the attractions' lights. Some clowns juggled and played while Chris Mclean, dressed like a ringmaster and with half of his face painted like a clown, addressed the contestants from the back of a fake and funny-looking elephant.

"Then dear campers, first let's state the rules of this Drama Carnival. I humbly present you THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE!" Shouted Chris, pointing at his side with a silver cane.

From the direction Chris pointed, a purple harlequin and Chef, dressed in a Mardi Gras Dress with lots of golden feathers, came pushing a big Spinning wheel with the contestants' faces.

The host jumped from the elephant and pointed at the wheel, "Each turn we will spin the wheel of fortune it'll choose a camper. The chosen one must select an attraction on the carnival and an opponent. The winner gets one point, and the loser is eliminated from the game."

"And the team with more points at the end wins the challenge, right?" said Courtney raising an eyebrow.

"Hehehe not exac-" started to said Chris, but he was interrupted by a clown that was juggling some balls. The performer lost his balance and had to walk in front of the host to keep juggling.

Chris pushed him away with his cane, "Don´t interrupt me! I'm the main star of this show."

The clown stumbled and fell to the ground but kept juggling the balls, which gained some applause from Sammy, Brick, Mike, and Sky.

"Ehem, anyway, as I was saying," the host continued while glaring at the clown. "You're wrong. That is the first surprise of the carnival. There are no more teams! The carnival is here to celebrate the beginning of the merge. From now on, it's everyone for themselves." as Chris talked, a lightning bolt illuminated the sky.

The news was a shock to all the contestants. Topher nodded, Alejandro and Heather smirked, Sammy and Amy looked at each other defiantly, Courtney rolled her eyes.

Lilly looked at the others with wide eyes while Mike stretched his arms. Shawn and Sky fist-bumped, Duncan cracked his knuckles, and Brick stood at attention.

Some were surprised, and others were already expecting the merge. With this, it was official. They did it, they arrived at the middle of the game. All knew that from now on the game would become harder, but all were closer to the prize.

Confessional: Mike

The Spiky-haired guy was rubbing his arm with a saddened expression, "The merge at last. Zoey, I miss you and I wish you were in the game. Please watch me, this time it's my turn to win this show. I can´t let only you and Cameron be winners."

Confessional: Topher

"I suspected the merge could fall at any moment. Usually, it happens when the cast is reduced to half, 2 contestants more or less. I wonder how this will affect my team dynamics? Sorry, I mean former team," said Topher while rubbing his chin and showing his best side.

Confessional: Alejandro

The Spaniard was looking at the confessional door with a bored expression, "so we're now in the merge? It happened earlier than I expected but remembering that joke of merge in the All-stars season it's not that weird. And I hope that in the past 4 challenges, all things got ready for the next phase of the plan."

Confessional: Sammy

"Well, the break is over! It's time to show how much I've grown and that I'm the better twin," said Sammy hitting her palm with her fist and wincing from the pain. "Ouch! I just hope I can do it. If not, this confessional will be embarrassing."

"Great, so who will win the immunity? The one that wins more challenges?" asked Amy looking down on the host.

"Please, you know I'm a generous man," said Chris with a mocking smile. All the contestants AND Chef rolled their eyes. "What? I'm generous! You can ask the interns."

As if queued, all the clowns shook their heads, except the juggler and the harlequin, that just laughed.

Chris' mouth twisted, and then hit the ground with his cane, "All of you're so funny. Anyway, as I'm GENEROUS, all the campers that get 3 points in the challenge win immunity. Also, once you win 3 times, you don´t need to participate anymore. Of course, you can still play if you want to eliminate more opponents. But if you lose, you also lose your immunity."

"And what do the challenges consist of?" asked Alejandro, rubbing his chin.

"I can't tell you that. It's a surprise," said Chris laughing. "But you can expect something similar to the attractions in other carnivals, but of course much more PAINFUL. This is the Awesome Total Drama Carnival of Pain after all," exclaimed Chris laughing and raising his hands. "The challenge ends when all players have been eliminated or when no player can get 3 points."

Topher rubbed his hands and looked enthusiastically at the camera. "Well if there is nothing else, let's spin the wheel and find who goes first."

"NOT SO FAST," shouted Chris, another bolt of lightning resounding in the sky. "As I told you before, this carnival is full of surprises, so before we get started, let's introduce another one."

The harlequin and the juggler took off their masks, revealing two familiar faces.

"Cody!?" asked Heather with wide eyes and covering her mouth.

"Charlotte! You're a returnee!" said Topher enthusiastically.

The brunette boy cleaned the paint from his face with his clown's shirt and made finger guns. "Hehehe, hello there, I'm back."

"And I also got a continue, so this time I intend to reach the final boss," said Charlotte smiling smugly.

Suddenly the Queen Bee ran and hugged Cody, almost knocking him down. "Welcome back. You came at the best moment."

"Yes, I'm also happy to see you," replied Cody rubbing her back, confused by what just happened.

Confessional: Charlotte

The dark-skinned e-gamer was sitting in the confessional, "Yes, I'm back in the show after beating another game in the extra stage of Mihtâtamowin Beach. And this time I intend to beat all my rivals, Amy, Sky, and Brick. I'll beat down all of you, it's game over," she said, giving thumbs down, saying the cadet name with a more bitter tone than the others.

Confessional: Cody

"If you wonder how it's possible I'm back, it's because I won the popularity contest in the web app. Thanks to all the ladies and guys out there that voted for me. Now I just need to discover which one voted me out, Duncan or … Heather," Cody was rubbing his chin and looking at the camera while pressing lips together. "But if she is acting, I have to say she is good."

"As we said at the beginning of the season, there will be 2 returnees. So we brought these two back from Loserland to get a chance to beat you, who had earned their place fairly in the game. Just remember that when voting," said Chris making a wide and fake smile.

"And since when can you juggle like that?" asked Courtney as Heather and Cody went back to the group of contestants.

Cody winked, his face still stained with white paint here and there. "I have practiced a lot since yesterday. I mean, if I'll be a clown, I need at least to act like one."

"What? But if you always act like a clown," said Duncan in a snarky tone, patting him in the back.

"I learned that from you. Sadly there were no green lime wigs," replied Cody, making all the former foxes laugh, including Duncan.

Charlotte ignored them and walked with her former teammates.

"You should be glad you got an extra life and skipped four levels. That sounds like a great strategy," said Amy raising her face.

Charlotte, Lilly, Topher, and Mike looked at her while smiling.

"Amy, are you a gamer?" asked Charlotte with wide eyes.

The older twin blushed, "Of- Of course NOT! How dare you, I couldn´t tell the difference between a PSP and a 3DS."

"But you know what a PSP and a 3DS are?" asked Mike scratching his head.

"No, I don´t. I'm just saying random words," replied Amy stuttering.

This time even Sky and Shawn laughed.

"STOP THAT! I'm the carnival star, remember?" said Chris hitting his top hat with his cane, "now that all the victims are toge…" as he was speaking a strong bolt of lightning interrupted him.

The host walked to the back of the elephant where Logan (also dressed as a clown) and another intern made the lightning bolt effect with a flashlight and a big aluminum sheet.

"I told you to wait until I stop talking. Is it so hard to follow a simple instruction?" asked Chris glaring at them. Both interns shook their heads. "Any way you already ruined it, so get out of here and expect a reduction in your paycheck."

The interns lowered their heads sadly, as Chris went back to the contestants.

"As I was saying, let's get started with this Drama carnival, shall we?" Chris pointed at Chef with his cane, and the big man walked toward the wheel of fortune.

Confessional: Lilly

The treehugger was hugging her knees, trembling. "Oh no, Charlotte's back. Now Max will pressure me into eliminating her again. And just when I thought things were improving." She then made a small smile. "But at least Cody is also back in the game."

Confessional: Heather

"So Cody is one of the returnees. This can be a problem or a blessing in disguise. Nothing like getting a friend back in the game," said Heather making a big grin and opening her arms.

Chef spun the roulette with the 14 faces of the contestants in it. Many of them still winced at him and his green and golden dress. The wheel then began to decelerate, slowing down on Duncan and landing on Shawn.

The conspiranoic walked to the front, scratching his head under his toque.

"Now take this," said Chris giving the zombie expert a gigantic sheet of paper. "This is a list of all the attractions in the carnival. Choose the one you want to challenge and the opponent you want to defy. All are equally painful!" said Chris, then laughing loudly.

"What? There are more than 50 attractions. How big is this fair?" asked Shawn while reading as fast as he could.

Chris put a hand over his cane and his face beamed, "There are more than 80. This is the power of our supercomputer DAM and a lot of tireless and cheap intern work. Now choose the attraction and the opponent. You have 1 minute."

"Chris, can´t you give us the list before our turn? So we can study the attractions beforehand?" asked Courtney, anticipating the answer.

But for her surprise Chris, after thinking about it for a moment nodded. "Sounds fair. Give them the list of attractions," he said, hitting the ground with his cane 2 times.

Logan and Steve, (the chubby intern dressed as a clown but in blue colors and with big dark circles under his eyes) began to hand out long sheets of paper identical to Shawn's to the other contestants. The campers looked at it with curiosity.

"Look Amy," said Lilly in an excited tone, "There is a petting zoo. I want to try it!"

Duncan looked at the petting zoo that instead of bunnies or ponies, had beavers, a moose, and a bear, but more importantly, a white ferret with a scar on its eye.

"I definitely don´t want to try that," said Duncan, gulping and sweating.

"What the hell is 'The Chris McLean house of wonders'?" asked Heather, "Is it a tacky mansion or a lot of burned rubble like the one Duncan blew up."

Chris narrowed his eyes at the Queen Bee and smiled, "Choose it to find out. It'll be awesome!"

"I'm sure you DON'T want to find out," whispered Cody to Heather, the Asian girl nodded.

"TIME OUT," shouted the host, in an annoyed tone, "Shawn choose the attraction and your opponent."

Shawn rubbed his chin and looked at the list one more time, "I choose Brick, and the challenge is skee-ball."

"You challenge me soldier? You're brave," said Brick with a proud smile.

"I'll use this chance to take out one of the most dangerous opponents of the show, you drone of the government," said Shawn smiling, but it was a mystery if he meant that as a joke or not.

The cadet shook his head, "you're still saying that? What do I need to do to make you understand I'm on your side?"

"Anyway gentlemen," said Chris extending his staff toward Shawn, making a mischievous smile, "before you get started, please wear these fashionable metal collars."

Round 1- Skee-ball

The challenge will take place in a fair stand. It was an inclined lane, like a small version of the ones used in bowling, with five different rings of different sizes with printed scores on them, the largest one with a 10 and the small furthest away from the line with a 50.

Shawn and Brick narrowed their eyes at each other, wearing the metal collars around their necks. Around them were the rest of the campers. Some supported Shawn, others Brick, and the rest looked with curiosity at the competition.

"I can´t believe that dirty zombie freak chose Brick, damn hobo," said Amy biting her thumb.

Mike rubbed his back with a nervous smile, "Hehehe, don´t be so harsh, just some minutes ago, Shawn was our teammate."

"Shawn is good at skee-ball?" Sammy asked Sky, in a low tone.

"I don´t know, Shawn had a lot of unexpected skills, but I wonder how skee-ball can help you against zombies," replied the Cree girl with a thoughtful expression.

While the gallery whispered, Chris began to explain the rules.

"This challenge is quite straightforward. Each you have 3 balls, roll them across the lane, and put them inside one of the rings. The higher score, the better. In the end we add all the scores and the highest one wins. If you tie we will give each of you an extra ball," said Chris putting his arm across both contestants' shoulders. "Easy, isn´t it?"

"Yes sir, easy enough," said Brick saluting.

Shawn raised his toque a little and raised an eyebrow, "And what is the catch with the necklace?"

Chris made a big grin and twirled the staff around playfully, "that is a surprise. Now get started. Shawn, as the challenger, you chose who goes first."

"I'll go first," said the conspiranoic taking a ball. With a swift moment, he rolled the ball across the lane. The ball jumped at the end of the lane, almost entering the 50 points ring, but fell in the 40 points ring instead.

As his turn ended, a buzzing sound filled the air. Both contestants began to contort, blue electrical bolts running across their bodies. The rest of the campers flinched at the spectacle.

"Ouch! What was that? An enemy attack?" asked Brick, still wincing from the shock.

"Hahaha, of course not," replied Chris, winking with his clown-decorated eye. "Remember, this is the Drama Carnival of PAIN, so we need some pain in the challenges, or we'd be doing false advertising. Each time one of you score, you will be shocked by those collars."

Shawn glared at him, "but then why was I shocked?"

"Both will be shocked, or it will be too boring," explained Chris, still chuckling, "but to be fair, the higher the score, the lower your shock, and stronger your opponents. So please aim for the top."

"Monster," said Amy, giving a death glare to the host. But he ignored her.

The cadet made a sad smile to his opponent, "Sorry about that, let's finish this as soon as possible."

Shawn nodded. Even if he didn´t trust Brick, he knew this time his words were sincere.

Both players took their turns, Brick scoring 30, then Shawn scoring 50, and Brick again scoring 40. The cadet's body was smoking while Shawn's hair stood so high that it took off his toque.

"The score is 90 to 70, Shawn ahead, with a 40 points score you kill it man, but no pressure," said Chris in a mocking tone.

Shawn cleaned his toque against his leg before putting it on, then he took his turn. He rolled the ball against the 50 points ring in a swift quick movement, but it bounced too hard and instead ended in the large 10 points ring.

Both were shocked again, but Brick's shock was a lot weaker than Shawns. The conspiranoic cursed himself, he failed to warrant the win.

"What a surprise!" exclaimed Chris in a high and excited tone. "Shawn failed by a hair, and now the scales have turned, the score is 100 to 70. Our favorite soldier needs a score of 30 for a tie and a 40 or better to win,"

The cadet advanced, aimed at the 30 point ring, and threw at it. The ball ran across the line, hoping at the end and flying to the center of the rings. But Brick used up too much strength, and it ended falling in the 40 points score.

Both Brick and Shawn winced again from the pain caused by the electric shock, but the cadet raised an arm triumphantly. Even the pain couldn´t take his smile.

"And it's over! The first challenge is over, and Brick is the winner. Shawn is out of the challenge," said Chris with a smile, while Amy and Alejandro ran to congratulate Brick, and Sammy and Sky went to Shawn's side. Heather made a small smile enjoying the hobo defeat.

Confessional: Shawn

"Darn it! I can´t believe I lose against that government slave," said the conspiranoic shocking his head. "I know I should have chosen the Haunted House because it's dark, but again using a man's phobia against him is low, even if the man is that soldier."

Confessional: Brick

"It seems all those hours playing at the skee-ball with my unit weren't in vain. I may not be the best, but I'm not an amateur either. And my comrades always said I was quite lucky when the shoots were important," said Brick saluting at the camera. "Members of unit 52, if you`re watching this, I want to salute you. Wish me luck."

"So we still have 13 contenders in the competition and Brick has one win. Please Chef spin the wheel again to choose our second contestant," said Chris, enjoying the upset expression of the campers.

The big man took a deep sigh and rolled it again. All the eyes of the presents were fixed on it, except Duncan.

The delinquent came closer to Courtney and whispered something to her. The former CIT just looked back at him with wide eyes.

"It's not a bad idea, but why are you telling me this instead of using it yourself?" asked Courtney in a low voice.

He smirked "because we're allies. Do I need another reason?"

Before she could reply, the wheel stopped on the image of one of the twins.

"And the next challenger is SAMEY," exclaimed Chris in an excited tone.

"Actually, it's the one with the mole, the nasty one," said Chef, fixing his feathers a little while talking.

All the campers laughed at Chris's mistake, even the twins.

Amy scoffed, "Maybe Topher's right and you're getting old. Do you need glasses to see, grandpa?"

"SHUT UP! I'm not even 30," shouted Chris, glaring and pointing at the older twin with his staff, "Now chose the game and your opponent."

"That's easy, Samey, in the house of mirrors." Said Amy, folding her arms and looking defiantly at her sister.

Sammy's mouth twisted, but she locked her eyes at her older sister, "I wouldn't expect otherwise."

Round 2- House of Mirrors

The house of mirrors is a maze composed of mirrors and glass panels. The challengers need to find the exit, but the mirrors' positions and curves are made to confuse the visitors and make navigating around harder.

"The rules are simple, both enter the maze, the first one to find the exit wins," said the host, making enjoying the feud between the twins.

"So we don't need to use the shock collars?" asked Sammy shyly.

"Samey! Why you have to remind him of the stupid collars?" Amy shouted to her sister, frowning.

This time Sammy didn't keep quiet, "because I prefer to know beforehand than having a nasty surprise later."

"Ladies, ladies, please save that energy for the challenge," said Chris putting his staff between them. "There are no collars for this one, so don´t worry about that. The house has 5 entrances, so you can start now. Nasty Amy goes first and Lamey Samey goes second."

"His jokes are so bad," said Sammy shaking her head.

"I know it's weird, but I agree with you," replied the older twin before running into the maze, "See you at the exit."

"You wish," replied Sammy entering the rightmost door.

Chris smiled and pulled out his phone. "Control room, they're inside. In 10 seconds, inject the gas into the room."

"Hey Chris, are you sure? That gas is based in DOM[1] and it can cause some nasty secondary effects," said Chef, cupping his mouth so the other contestants and the cameras couldn´t hear him.

Chris patted his arm, "it's ok Chef, DAM already analyzed it, and this isn't only safe but will make the challenge more interesting."

The big man shook his head, later he needed to check if the supercomputer really analyzed the chemical or if Chris only said so to end the discussion.

Inside the maze, Amy was walking across the halls. It was full of images of her looking in every direction. Or well, images of her or Samey, depending on who you ask.

"This is so easy! Samey could never find the exit of one of these without my help," said Amy to herself, proudly.

But when was the last time she went to a fair with Samey? 8 years ago? More? They still were close then, before Sammy betrayed her.

On the other side of the house of mirrors, Sammy was running across the halls. She advanced, putting her hands in front of her to not hit her face against a glass panel.

Back in the day, Amy guided her when they entered this attraction. It was wonderful how many Sammys and Amys were all around, smiling and laughing. What happened to her sister that made her change?

"It's beyond sad. Why did she become so nasty with me? If at least there was a reason," wondered Sammy in a sad tone.

Then in front of her, she saw it, multiple Sammys watching her, or it was images of Amy.

Both began to go faster, but her sister' accusing expressions followed them across the aisles of the labyrinth.

"Why did you leave me alone?"

"Why did you betray me?"

"What did I do to deserve this?"

"SHUT UP! It was you, not me! You were the one that betrayed me."

"Betray you? It was YOU, the one that changed. It was you who rejected me."

"WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND ME."

Neither of them knew if the questions were coming from the reflections or from her sister asking them across the labyrinth.

Amy was blanching, her eyes focused on the mirrors. She was out of breath. Samey was looking at her with pity.

Sammy ran across the aisles, she hit 2 panels with her face, but she couldn´t stop. All she could see was Amy looking at her with those accusing eyes.

Outside no one could hear anything, only some muffled shouts. All the present expected one of the sisters to come out soon, some supporting one twin, some supporting the other.

And then one of the twins went out of the house. She was sweating a lot, her eyes unfocused, she stopped once outside, heavy breathing with her hands on her knees.

"And the winner of the House of Mirrors challenge is… Who is it?" asked Chris, scratching his head with his cane. "Are you Samey or Amy?"

Before she could answer, the other twin came out of the house and jumped over her sister without warning. Both rolling in the ground, slapping each other.

"Why did you try to kill me on the cliff, Samey?" shouted Amy, her eyes red and unfocused, holding her sister so she couldn´t slap her.

"It was an accident! I'm not like you. I would never try something like that," replied Sammy, also holding Amy so she couldn´t slap her either.

Amy shook her face, "LIAR! It was because you hate me, admit it!"

"GET OFF ME!" shouted Sammy, using her leg to push her sister away.

Chef and a couple of interns held the disheveled sisters and pulled them away from each other.

"WOW! That is what I call entertainment," said Chris with a big grin on his face. "and the winner of the challenge is SAMEY. Amy you're out."

But both sisters ignored him, her eyes locked in each other.

Chris blinked a couple of times, "Ooook, last time we used some experimental substance that a sponsor gave us for free. Please hold them for a moment while the effect ends. Meanwhile let's go back to the wheel of fortune."

Confessional: Amy

"Augh! I felt like my head was about to split. I can´t believe that Sammy has the nerve to lie to me. I swear that…" the older sister then looked back and threw up.

Confessional: Sammy

"I feel so lightheaded right now. I may have problems with Amy, but I don´t hate her, much less wish her dead. But for some reason, this time, I felt she really cared about it." Said Sammy, looking nauseated and dizzy. She then also threw up in the confessional.

"So please, Chef, spin the wheel of fortune to choose the next happy customer of our carnival," said Chris leaning on his staff.

"How many times do I need to do this?" asked Chef frowning while spinning.

Chris shrugged. "Many more, my friend, many more."

The wheel of fortune then stopped in the image of Alejandro.

The Spaniard smiled, "So it's my turn at last?" He then looked at the opponents, like a snake looking at a bunch of frogs.

"Cody, shall we dance," he said, smirking.

The brunette boy stretched his fingers, "I have been waiting for this. And what is the game, shooting gallery? High Striker?"

"No mi amigo, dardos[2]," said Alejandro with a big grin on his face.

Round 3 - Balloons darts

The balloon darts is a simple game, the players stand 12 feet from a panel full of balloons, and they throw a dart at the panel one at a time, the one that fails to pop a balloon on their turn loses.

But in the Drama carnival version, there was a strange frame in front of the booth.

"Rules are simple. The contestants that pop more balloons wins. You can only throw the dart while standing in this frame. Each balloon has a surprise, so have fun and good luck. Alejandro as the challenger, you decide who goes first," explained Chris in a mocking tone.

"I'll go first," said Alejandro, smirking. He stood in the frame threw the dart, and popped a balloon. From the balloon came out a swarm of bees that flew against the Spaniard.

"Ouch, Quitenmelas!" shouted Alejandro as he ran away.

Chris laughed, "hahaha, yes, you found the bees' balloons. How lucky!" Then his eyes became wide as some bees began to attack him, "WAIT! What are you doing? Not me!"

The bees began to try to sting Alejandro, Chris, Chef, the contestants, and the interns.

After some panic, everyone returned to their place.

"Why do they always sting in the butt?" asked Sky, taking out a sting from her buttock.

"It's the burden of having a nice butt," said Topher, also taking off a sting from his butt, "at least they don´t go for the face."

"Talk for yourself," said Mike, with 4 stings on his forehead.

Chris rubbed his not painted cheek, which was swollen after being stung. "Who had the stupid idea of using bees?"

"YOU! You said it was a classic," replied Chef, fixing the feather of his costume, his eye also swollen.

The host opened the mouth to say something and then closed it. After a moment, he talked again, "Ok, Cody, your turn."

The Codester walked to the frame and took his dart, "just look at this." He threw and popped a balloon.

Then instead of coming from the ballon, a flame came from the frame, almost burning Cody.

"Hey, that was dangerous!" shouted Cody, looking at his clown costume, which was scorched by the flames.

Chris chuckled, "Was that surprise too hot for you, Cody? And don´t worry, we won't charge you for the costume you just ruined."

And even with the surprises, both men keep popping balloons. Alejandro was dusted in itching powder, shocked, showered in freezing water, and hit with eggs, among others.

Cody also didn´t give up. His surprises consisted of being sprayed with pink paint, attacked by spiders, dusted in pepper, and bathed in oil.

After 12 rounds, both contestants looked about to fall. Alejandro popped another balloon that caused a lot of tar to fall on his head.

"Brea? En serio? Que hijo de puta eres Chris," said Alejandro trying to take the tar from his hair.

Chris chuckled, winking at him, "Sorry not sorry Al, you choose the wrong balloon."

Cody then walked to the frame and threw his dart. But it slipped from his oiled fingers and landed between 2 balloons.

"Darn it, so close," said Cody falling to his knees.

"AND AT LAST we have a winner. Alejandro gets his first victory, and Cody is out of the competition. Please, next customers, try to not take so much time," said Chris looking at a clock he has chained to his belt, "remember this is a 26 minutes show."

Confessional: Cody

Cody was sitting in the confessional, dressed in his clown clothes, "*Sigh* I can't believe I lost against him. At least he challenged me. That means he recognized me as a threat. Next time I'll beat him."

Confessional: Alejandro

"Ugh, Damn Chris. I hope this tar doesn't damage my beautiful hair," said Alejandro pouring a bottle of water over his head. "And now I just need to win 2 more battles, but I doubt any of my opponents will be as fun as this one."

"And now Chef, please spin one more time the wheel," said Chris Twirling his staff, no different to how Beth twirled her baton.

The big man had a white eyepatch in addition to his Mardi Gras Dress. After spinning the wheel, it fell over Charlotte.

The e-gamer hit her fist together, "Alright, insert coin and press start. Here comes a new challenger."

Both Topher and Lilly looked at her with curiosity. With Amy out of the game, they didn´t know who she would chose.

"I select Sky in her 1P costume. The stage will be the roller coaster," said Charlotte making a wide smile that showed her teeth.

Sky smirked, "Just what I wanted."

"Wait! We need to be sure that Sky can ride that attraction before you can challenge her," said Chris blocking the Cree girl's path with his cane.

The gymnast just gave him a death glare and kicked him in the shin.

Round 4 - Roller Coaster

Chef's Mountain was a gigantic roller coaster situated on the side of the carnival. It was a large track full of tight turns, spins, and steep slopes, the tallest reaching 100m (328 ft.)

Both women entered the gate to the attraction, Sky being a little taller than the Cartoon Chef that worked as a minimum height indicator.

Chris stood at the platform with both contestants while the rest watched from outside the attraction. "For this challenge, you need to board the car and enjoy the ride. Once there, the speed of the car will be increasing. The loser is the first one that throws up, faints, or gives up using the buttons on the side of your car."

"Press give up now and save the humiliating defeat," said Charlotte smirking, and adjusting her hairband.

Sky smirked back at her, "Don´t be so sure. This is probably game over for you."

"And lastly, before you go into the ride, please wear this," said Chris giving them a pair of armlets. Each woman looked at them with wide eyes.

"Are these one of those cursed items that inflict electricity damage when we wear them?" asked Charlotte, holding the armlet but not wearing it.

Chris shook his head, "Of course not. But wearing a shocking device may be a good idea, let's remember that next time." The host chuckled at his own joke. "These ones are scanners to check your vitals during the ride. If one of you faints, this little device will send us a signal and we will know you lose."

The Cree girl put the armlet and then frowned at Chris, "Is there some other rule?"

"Nope, once you two are in the car, we can begin the challenge," said Chris bowing and pointing to the roller coaster car with his hands.

Charlotte looked defiantly at Sky, the latter locking her eyes on the e-gamer, and then both got in the attraction's car. Once both were inside it, Chef pulled a lever, and they began to advance.

Outside the roller coaster, the rest of the contestants were looking at them on two big screens. The girls looked excited and were screaming at the slopes.

"This will end quickly," said Heather scoffing, "how much can that small Sky stand that speed."

Shawn tsked and waved his finger, "I wouldn't be so sure. Sky has a lot more stamina and endurance than she seems. I think she can beat that gamer."

"I'm with Heather. Sky's cool, but Charlotte's really stubborn. She'll not give up easily," said Topher winking.

At first, both girls were fine, but after 2 full rides, they began to feel the effect of the increasing speed on their bodies. Their necks and shoulder hurt, and both felt the air pushing them against the seat.

But it was until the fifth ride that they reached their limit, Sky began to see small dots in front of her, while Charlotte began to see everything redder.

"Chris, are you sure this is safe?" asked Chef in a low voice, "Both seem to have problems, but I think they're too stubborn to give up."

The host rolled his eyes, "You're becoming a worrywart, you know? They'll be fine. The challenge was designed to push their limits. They'll pass out before they can get permanent damage."

The co-host frowned as usual, but somehow he didn´t like how Chris was acting. All the carnival acts were going to his head.

On the car, the girls had started their seventh ride. Charlotte felt dizzy and had trouble breathing. While Sky began to felt pain at the base of her back. It was an intense pain in the same zone she got hurt 10 days ago during the competition against Lightning.

The Cree girl tried to move around the seat to lessen the pain, but it was in vain. It ached more and more with each turn. She then remembered Dave's words, was this challenge worthy of risking her future? The answer was obvious.

"Oh! At last, one of our contenders gave up! And the winner is Charlotte!. I can't believe little Sky gave up. I was sure she would prefer to pass out before pressing the button," Chris said with wide eyes, looking at his mobile.

The roller coaster car stopped, and both girls went down. Topher and Amy helped Charlotte, while Sammy and Shawn helped Sky.

"You did a great job," said Sammy rubbing her friend back.

"Thanks Sammy, next time I'll have my revenge," said Sky making a small smile.

On the other side, Charlotte tried to not throw up, but she still had enough strength to glare at Amy.

"Don´t look at me like that. Even if we have problems in the past, I don´t think you're that bad. So just accept some help," said Amy, trying to not roll her eyes at the e-gamer attitude.

Confessional: Sky

"It's kind of weird. Usually, a defeat like this would frustrate me a lot, but this time I felt that risking to hurt my back would be a mistake. I need to think more about the future and less about just winning," said Sky with an upset expression, then she smiled. "Also, it was awesome to ride a roller coaster. I really need to do it again."

Confessional: Charlotte

The e-gamer was smirking in the confessional, "at last, I wanted to have a rematch against Sky since she beat me on the talent show mini-game. Now I need to use my chance to beat this game and have my vengeance against that traitor." She added, hitting her hand with her fist.

Chef began to spin the wheel while Chris looked at him smirking. The cook began to wonder about his life choices. He didn´t care about the extra work, but he hated the idea of working for free.

While he thought about this, the spin stopped on Duncan.

"DUNCAN! My man, I was wondering when will be your turn," said Chris with a mocking smile, "I can't imagine who will you choose," the host then looked at Courtney, winking at her.

The delinquent rubbed his chin and then smirked, "I choose, mmmm, Heather, and the challenge is High Striker."

"WHAT? Are you trying to mess with me? Why're you choosing me?" said the Queen bee bailing her fist and glaring at Duncan.

"Why? Because you're irresistible, so stop whining and let's do this," replied Duncan in a mocking tone.

Courtney narrowed her eyes at them. Heather gave Duncan a death glare, but there was no going back. The challenge was on.

Round 5 – High Striker

High Striker is one of the classic attractions in the fairs. In its classic version the contestants need to hit one end of a lever with a hammer. On the other end is a puck that will rise higher depending on the strength put on the hammer. If you hit the bell at the top, you win.

For the Drama carnival version, the lever had Chris McLean's face, and the hammers seemed futuristic, with a metallic handle.

"Hahaha, they have to smash my face with a hammer, so creative and funny," said Chris in a snarky tone, glaring at the interns. "Ahem, anyway, the rules of this one are simple, you have to hit the High Striker as hard as you can. You have 3 tries and the one that gets the highest score is the winner."

Heather stomped her foot on the ground, furiously, "WAIT! This is completely unfair. This ape is obviously stronger than me."

"I never said the challenges would be fair," said Chris making a mocking smile, "in fact, part of the challenge is choosing the right opponent for the right challenge. Just accept you were unlucky."

"You hear the man. It's completely fair," said Duncan, smirking, looking down on Heather.

The Queen Bee just smiled and stepped on Duncan's toes as hard as she could.

"OUCH!" shouted Duncan, jumping on one foot while holding the other with a pained expression. "You sore loser."

She ignored his protests and held the hammer. Heather trained for a whole year, and she was stronger than before, fitter, and more athletic. The question was if she was stronger than that idiot.

The Queen bee raised the hammer and hit Chris's face (well, fake face) as hard as she could. The score over the high Striker ringed, making the max score of 1000. But then she was shocked by her hammer. She winced as small blue lightning ran through her body.

"Oh, I forget to tell you. Once you hit the high striker it will give you an electric shock as strong as your hit, so be careful," Chris mimed hitting the High Striker with his cane and winked.

Heather glared at him, "Thanks for the useless *bzzzt* warning."

Duncan took the hammer and looked with contempt at the machine, it will hurt, but he didn´t care. In a swift moment he also hit the max score in the challenge and was also shocked. The shock made his mohawk stand on its ends.

Then both take turns to hit the high striker again, getting both the max score and the max shock after their tries.

But on Heather's 3rd try, she was too stiff after the multiple electric shocks, and she failed to make the max score, reaching only 912. Duncan, on the other hand, got the max score again on his third attempt.

"Sorry gorgeous," said Duncan smirking, then he winced from the electric shock, a blue bolt running from his eyebrow piercing to his nose piercing. "I won this one."

Heather turned her face, her expression contorted in anger. It was obvious that this wasn't an accident, and Duncan chose her on purpose.

"Stupid criminal. And just now that I can´t eliminate him," said the Queen bee under her breath. Storming back to Cody's side.

Confessional: Heather

"What's his damn problem? It's because he's on Alejandro's side? Because I'm Courtney's friend? Or does he have ulterior motives? I don't care, he's going down. Nobody messes with me," said Heather tossing her braid arrogantly at the camera.

Confessional: Duncan

The delinquent was sitting and leaning against the door of the confessional. "I have to admit this was a lot funnier than I expected. I wonder how many people realized how to play this game correctly? Anyway, I wanted to mess with Heather since Red's elimination. Red if you're watching that was for you." he added, winking at the camera.

"Wow, and just like that, the challengers are falling one after another. Please Chef, spin the wheel of fortune, and let's see who is the next lucky contestant," said Chris pointing at the wheel.

The big man spun it again, and after some angsty moments, the arrow fell in the image of one of the twins.

"Wow! As Amy was already eliminated, it must be Samey's turn," said Chris patting his top hat with his staff.

Courtney glared at him, "What you mean with wow? The wheel is made so eliminated contestants, and those with immunity can't repeat again, isn't it?"

"Maybe, all the attractions and the wheel of fortune were made by DAM, our lovely supercomputer. The interns only put them together," said Chris, shrugging. "Anyway, Lamey it's your turn."

Sammy looked at Duncan for a moment, and then the rest of the remaining contestants. The delinquent just had the correct idea and if she wanted to win, maybe she could imitate him.

Then her face beamed. It wasn't something to be proud of but was the better way to warrant her victory.

"I choose Lilly, and as the attraction whack a mole," said Sammy pointing at the treehugger.

"Why me? I mean, at least chose the petting zoo," said Lilly looking at the younger twin with big eyes.

Sammy bowed at the treehugger, "Sorry Lilly, but you seem like the best adversary, and the petting zoo will give you an advantage, so I'll stick to the whack-a-mole.

There was a smile silence, Chris looking at Chef with wide eyes.

"Is there a whack-a-mole challenge in the Drama carnival?" said Chris scratching his head.

"Yes, pretty boy, it's item 43 in the list," replied Chef rolling his eyes.

The host looked at the list of challenges and then nodded. "Ok, then it's official Samey vs. Lilly on whack-a-mole."

Round 6 – Whack-a-mole

Whack-a-mole is a mechanical game more common in fairs and festivals in Japan than in Canada. It consists of a cabinet with 5 holes filled with plastic 'moles' that the player needs to hit with a hammer. The faster you hit it, the bigger the score.

In the Drama Carnival version of the game, they use gophers instead of moles, and it had 6 holes per cabinet.

"That damn Samey, she chose Lilly just because she's my friend," said Amy in a bitter tone.

"Really?" asked Mike while scratching his head, "I'm not sure. She doesn't seem so petty."

The older twin chuckled, "That's because you didn't know her true face."

"Welcome to Whack-a-Gopher. The rules are simple. There are two whack-a-gopher machines. Each of you will use one of them and hit the gophers as soon as they come out. Hitting them will give you points, the first to reach 1000 points wins. Of course, there will be surprises during the game, but you will have to find out about it later," said Chis smiling impishly.

Both girls got the yellow and red hammers and stood in front of their respective machines.

"Good Luck," said Sammy smiling.

"Good luck too," said Lilly in a low and polite tone, bowing a little.

At that moment, the challenge started. Sammy began to hit the moles with speed and precision, but as soon as she hit the first, she found the "surprises."

The Gopher sprayed her in tabasco sauce. The younger twin felt her eyes burning, but she endured it and continued hitting the gophers.

Meanwhile, Lilly weakly and slowly hit a Gopher, but it shot a flame at the treehugger who fell on her butt, her face blackened by the flames.

She wanted to give up, but then she noticed that Cody was looking at her. If Cody was here, she couldn't just give up. So Lilly stood up and did her best, hitting the gophers as fast as she could.

It was a cruel battle. The gophers also gave them electric shocks, spat freezing water, sprayed pepper, salt, and itchy powder, and made annoying screeches. But neither Sammy nor Lilly gave up.

Fortunately for them, the ending chime sounded when one of them hit the 1000 score.

"Stop right there!" said Chris hitting the machine with his staff, "We have a winner. Samey gets her second victory! Sorry Lilly, you're out."

The treehugger sighed sadly as Sammy jumped joyfully, celebrating her second victory. One more, and she'll get her immunity.

Confessional: Lilly

The treehugger was looking at the ground, with a sad expression, "I just wanted to win the challenge for Cody. I'm so ashamed. I'm sure I could win if it was the petting zoo."

Confessional: Sammy

Sammy was smiling, but soon her smile became a frown. "Sorry Lilly, but this challenge is about choosing an opponent and an event in which you can beat them. And I was sure I could hit those gophers quicker than you. Believe me it was nothing personal."

Chef spun the wheel of fortune one more time, falling in the image of Courtney.

"So it's your turn. Courtney, you have been resting all the challenge, so who will it be?" said Chris, smiling mockingly and looking at Duncan instead of Courtney.

All campers looked at her, but everyone knew who she was going to choose.

The former CIT made a small smile. "Thanks, Chris. For my opponent I choose Alejandro."

Everyone gasped.

"Alejandro?" asked Cody looking at her with wide eyes.

"Are you sure? That idiot is still in the game," said Heather pointing at Duncan with her thumb.

"Yes, I'm sure," said the Latin girl narrowing her eyes at the Spaniard.

Alejandro just smiled and shook his head, "as you wish, I just hope you don´t regret this señorita.

Chris stood in front of the camera, smiling. "And what challenge will Courtney choose? Who will win the immunity, and who will join the other losers on the chopping block? And who will be the first merger to go home?" Find out next here in total Drama, Tyranny of the Masses.
