(An Englishman clacking his heels against the cold hard floor is seen approaching a large painting on the floor of New York blowing up.)

Englishman: I deeply admire the artistic value of your work, Mr. Mendez. I truly hoped to someday meet you, but sadly your death has made it a bit complication.

(The Englishman is seen wearing all black from his business suit to his large fancy hat. He pulls out a camera and adjusts his angle to get a good shot of the mural on the floor.)

Englishman: Excellent; definitely one of my better shots.

(He points his camera for a second shot but as he does so, his cell phone rings in his pocket. He lets out a quick sigh, but checks his phone right away to see an interesting name. Slightly confused, he answers the phone.)

Woman: Out of respect for you, this is a courtesy call but just know that after tonight, I'm done. (Takes a long pause and deep breath) I wanted you to hear it from me before anyone else; He's in his office- your dad is.

(The Englishman walks into a large office to see the man appearing to be his father on the ground with a large hole in his head and a chunk of his brain missing out of the back. The Englishmen's face is not seen but he stands over his father and kneels to his body.)

Englishman: How do I know this wasn't one of your illusions?

Woman: I have no motive to-

(The man quickly grabs her arm and the air is sucked strait out of her body. She struggles to breathe and collapses to the ground, her flesh discoloring and her eyes darkening. The sounds of her struggles seize and the man takes his hands off her. He looks back at his father's body and continues to see it lifeless. He touches the woman on her shoulder and after about 8 seconds her body shoots back to life and she quickly crawls away from him- coughing and slowly regulating her breathing patters.)

Woman: You're crazy!

Englishman: I had to make sure you were telling the truth. Before you get upset understand that I have allowed you to live again after just killing you. Your allegiance to the company was for a lifetime but seen as you've technically just died and have come back, you're free to go Ms. Wilmer.

Candice: (Holding her throat) No, I'm done with that name. No more Candice Wilmer. I'm leaving and this time, no one will find me.

Englishman: (Looks down at his father's body) Who could've possibly done this and how did they slip in so easily?

Candice: (Shrugs) I couldn't tell you. Are you going to bring him back, you can?

Englishman: I'm debating…. (Rubbing his lips across the knuckle of his thumb) No… My father respected life and death so I will respect his wishes. (Angrily stands over his father's body)

Candice: I know the two of you… didn't get along and you tried seeking his approv-

Englishman: Another word outta you about this and it will be your last; no coming back this time. By the way, that man down there in the plaza, that was… Skylar, wasn't it? Sylar! They make such a big deal about him; personally I think he's overrated.

Candice: It's unfortunate he went out the way he did.

Englishman: I couldn't afford a trophy such as that to die. In the unpublished storyboards of his work, Isaac Mendez wrote an ending to 9th Wonders in case he died prematurely. In those storyboards I believe he described a man with Sylar's abilities.

Candice: He has a lot of them. Which ability was he talking about?

Englishman: The golden eyes…

Candice: I will handle Sylar, all I ask is you stay away from us, there's no more reason to go after him…

(She pulls a vile out and flashes it before him.)

Englishman: (Takes a moment to think then sighs) That is a dangerous vile… that could potentially end the world.

Candice: Linderman was going to release this virus if the bomb failed, so I was his failsafe. Sylar won't have his abilities anymore, but don't worry, I left you a vile in the vault- the original.

(There is a moment of silence and Candace looks at the computer monitor on the desk.)

Candice: Don't forget to check the footage on the computer over there. You'll see the face of the man who killed your father.

(The Englishman glances over at the desk.)

Candice: All I ask, is once you find the man who did it, leave the boy alone. His son's a good kid. I hate I didn't have more time to watch cartoons with him honestly. (Lightly chuckles) I know I'm in no position to give orders, but if you promise to leave him alone, I'll pledge my loyalty to you after my death. I know how much loyalty means to you and I will be loyal to you, but loyalty to what I believe always comes first. As long as you continue trying to heal the world, I'll be by your side.

Narrator: When the tides of change come our way, it is not them we must lookout for, it is us. Change will always be inevitable but whether we live the old world or embrace the new one is up to us. Both are necessary forces such as good and evil, but what makes the difference between a conscious choice or a controlling one?

[Carnival 2010, Peter Petrelli]

(Peter stands watching Claire preparing to jump from the Ferris Wheel.)

Peter: I could stop this right now…

Distorted Voice: But you won't.

(Peter turns around startled to see a man in a red hood standing before him.)

Peter: Who are you?

(Peter tries to see his face, covered in the shadow of the hood but can only make out what appears to be a scar.)

Red Hood: Don't worry about butterflies. I am not here for that.

Peter: Why are you here?

Red Hood: To save the world. (Evilly chuckles) Revelation is upon us; and the start of this Brave New World is only a piece of this puzzle.

Peter: People are dying, I can save hundreds right now. (Glances back at Claire)

Red Hood: Go ahead then; save this world. But know that by doing so, you only bring more doom even worse than this. (Stares at Peter with fiery hate in his eyes) I could kill you right now- but that would only produce more complexity. I know you, Petrelli and I know how far you'll go to save others. I was like you once, alive and full of hope; now I'm dead and full of this world.

(Peter turns around to realize they've somehow made it to the hospital.)

Peter: What're you talking about?

Red Hood: People like us operate on a different level. Mimicry goes far deeper than you know. These abilities aren't just power, they are fire and the light. These abilities manifest from who we are. (Stares up to the dark sky) Desire, pain, trauma, love; these are what fuel our power and define them.

Peter: Why are you telling me all of this?

Red Hood: (Faces Peter and lets out a groan while pacing in circle around him) Make no mistake; I am not on your side. It's just nice being able to connect to- someone- like me.

Peter: Maybe you're not as bad as you think you are.

Red Hood: Only because I show weakness? Knowledge is something many of us know, but the more it consumes us, the more we're labeled evil!

Peter: (Carefully watching his every move) Being smart isn't a sin.

Red: But it is in the eyes of the people. (Stops and paces in the opposite direction) Knowing the world and knowing how to fix it means you control the operation of how this world works; you know how the gears turn; how the clock... ticks- (Moment of silence after clocks echo through the distance) Am I lying for not doing anything to renew this world from pain, or am I a manipulator for trying? (Stops moving) Either way; am I evil?

Peter: You're evil for wanting to hurt people.

Red Hood: You're evil- for trying to kill your own father because he had to be stopped.

Peter: Who- who are you? How do you know that.

Red Hood: (Psychotically groans and punches himself in the side of the head in anger) Knowledge- a curse… Depriving from life…! I know; I obtain…

Peter and Red Hood: The Hunger…

Peter: You have Sylar's ability. Are you him?!

Red Hood: They say hate is the opposite of love; Peter; I think it's a cross between death and knowledge. Knowledge slowly killing the innocence, distorting parts of who we are by nature, and are replaced with the desire to become whole again. When was the last time you were free; when was the last time a past experience defined your lifetime experiences? You can't have all- you either know all; or you feel all that is in your heart unfiltered. I chose to feel all, only for that knowledge to convert me into this… darkness. Sylar was fortunate enough to become the opposite, but, Peter, you too will become the opposite of what you are.

Peter: What're you talking about; you aren't making sense. I won't let that happen…

Red Hood: And that is exactly why it will happen. Revelation is coming and so will judgment. (Sighs) I leave you to face your nightmares. This is the last talk I will have with a person I could truly connect with before the next phase … Thank you for this talk, Petrelli; for that, I will grant you a wish. Make it count; for one day; you will die by my hand.

Peter: (Casual and bold) Then I say bring it on. We can do a lot of crazy stuff but wish granting is a new one on me. How can someone be that powerful?

Red Hood: Wish.

Peter: What does someone wish for whe- (Takes a deep breath) Bring my brother back. If you can perform miracles, bring him back to me- right now; maybe then I'll believe you.

Red Hood: You have no idea what you're asking… I'll see what I can do. Goodbye... (Uses time travel to disappear)

(Peter just feels the gentle touch of the blowing wind across his face and takes a moment to process all that has just happened. He turns around and sees someone quickly run inside of the hospital. Peter teleports onto the stairway and sees Nurse Kelly quickly running down the stairs in hopes she wasn't seen.)

(In Odessa Texas Ryan is seen standing before two thugs, one vicious dog, and his high school crush Tricia. One of the thugs, Tony, commands his dog to attack Ryan and unleashes it. The dog runs at Ryan and jumps at him, but before he gets a chance to bite into him, Tricia rushes the dog and tackles it into the side of the couch. Wasting no time, she aggressively grabs a knife she had hidden and with all of her adrenaline, viciously stabs the dog in multiple spots of his neck before the thugs quickly step in. She glances at Ryan with a look of rage in her eyes and blood across her face.)

Tricia: Get outta here now!

(Ryan turns invisible and both of the gangsters let out shots in random directions hoping to have hit him. Tricia rushes forward a few feet where Ryan was and holds the knife up to her throat.)

Tricia: You people are sick for hunting people like him. The next time you see him, tell him he was the real hero for standing against the real bullies!

(Tricia quickly slits her own throat in order to avoid whatever torture the two thugs may have inflicted on her. She drops to the floor struggling to breathe. "Uncle" casually walks over toward the dining room and pulls out a small box from one of the dressers in the area. He pulls out some white latex gloves and secures them nice and tight, all while listening closely to the sounds of Tricia's agony as if they were a tic to a clock or a tap in a quiet room.)

Tony: (Says casually) We know where the kid lives, we'll get him soon. Police will be swarming his place tonight so tomorrow we'll get him. Don't let her die, doctor.

Uncle: Way ahead of you, boss. (Approaches Tricia's body)

Tony: After what she just did to my dog, she doesn't get the luxury of dying on her own accord. That's my privilege now.

(Ryan is seen charging out of the house and out toward the darkness when suddenly he stops to realize he doesn't have a way to his house. Unsure on what is going to happen next, Ryan takes off down the street as fast as he can.)

[Tokyo Japan, Yamagato Industries]

(Hiro appears in his office at Yamagato and to his surprise sees a worker on their knees scrubbing stains from the carpet. She looks up at Hiro and lets out a loud squeal, triggering Hiro to scream as well back at her.)

Worker: (Holds her chest) Oh, Mr. Nakamura, my apologies. I did not know you would be here. We figured… you would be with your sister at the hospital.

Hiro: (Confused) EH? My sis- what happened to Kimiko?!

(Hiro eventually makes his way to the hospital and rushes in full speed trying to find out what has happened to his sister Kimiko. He eventually sees Ando in the emergency room drinking what is obviously his 9th cup of espresso and shaking his legs vigorously. He looks up to see Hiro and once his mind is able to comprehend him, Ando quickly rushes over to Hiro, whispering something into Hiro's ear before walking off.)

Ando: Outside, Hiro.

(Ando walks out into the cold air and Hiro soon follows him out in a panic. The two talk in Japanese.)

Hiro: What happened? Kimiko was stabbed by someone?! Who was it; was he brought to justice?!

Ando: (Collective yet slightly on edge) Where were you, Hiro? Kimiko needed you; I needed you. On top of her, I had to worry whether or not you were dead or lost in time AGAIN.

Hiro: I'm sorry, Ando, if I knew things were this serious, I would've been here-

Ando: But you weren't here, Hiro; that's the problem! You have- (Deeply takes in two inhales) no idea how worried I have been this entire time. Being alone I realize something- that you don't care about anyone but yourself.

Hiro: What…? (Defensive) How could you say that, I didn't know!

Ando: Excuses. You shouldn't have ran off like that thinking only of you and not about how we felt about you leaving. Those videos were fake; you were tricked!

Hiro: Yes… You are right. I- was tricked. I went back to that day of the carnival and tried to stop everything but, someone was there waiting for me. I was wrong for leaving you like this.

Ando: (Stares Hiro in the eyes) I can't trust you anymore. After Kimiko is well I will continue to speak with you on her behalf, but after tonight, we are no longer friends. (Turns his back and attempts to walk away)

Hiro: Ando- I know you are upset but I am sorry.

Ando: (Faces Hiro again) It does not matter. The man responsible for this is a bad guy. I can't keep standing in an office building all day; I need to stop people like him from hurting people like Kimiko!

Hiro: This doesn't have to be the end. I do hope one day, soon, you'll be able to forgive me.

Ando: I wouldn't bet on anytime soon. I'm going back to Kimiko.

Hiro: Ando… When did this happen? I can go back and stop this.

Ando: (Shakes his head in disappointment) Figure it out yourself. You don't need me to make terrible decisions. (Walks off into the hospital)

Hiro: (Sighs and says to himself) I will fix this.

(Hiro closes his eyes and teleports away once again.)

[Unknown location, Lars]

(In the middle of a quiet, easy-going bar, Lars scans the customers as well as the workers then quickly makes his move to the bar. He has a seat and the bartender approaches him.)

Bartender: (Annoyingly groans) What can I get to drink?

Lars: (Whispers) T-tavern- on tap?

(The two stare back and forth at each other awaiting a response from the other. Lars is given a not to head to the back and he quickly walks away. Lars follows right behind. The two make it into an alleyway and the bartender angrily throws Lars down onto the ground.)

Bartender: You're no longer welcome; I thought Badger made it clear.

Lars: What?! (Quickly gets up) I nearly died sticking my neck out for us!

Bartender: And unfortunately you survived!

(Lars cannot believe the words he's just heard.)

Bartender: We worshipped evos as gods but your take does not align with our ways. Our society as worshippers revokes your member- AGAIN. This is your last warning; contact us again- (Aggressively approaches Lars) - and there will be blood. (Grabs Lars' finger and pops it out of place)

(Lars falls to the ground clenching himself in pain. The Bartender enters back into his bar and leaves Lars alone. Lars takes a moment to process everything but then quickly forces his finger back into place. He clenches one last time before leaning his back against a trashcan and pulls out his cell phone. As soon as he opens it, he sees he has 6 missed called and 9 messages. Breathing slightly heavy and listening to the sounds of the city havoc, he makes a call. Someone answers after the 4th ring.)

Lars: Strauss… Uh… Tracy Strauss- I need to get a hold of her… yes I am aware of that. Please just… do it, I need this. Yeah… I know- this will be the last time we'll be in contact. But hey, thank you though. I needed this.

[Unknown location, Brandon and Claire Bennet]

(Brandon is driving his vehicle with Claire in the passenger seat dreadfully enduring the sounds of a slow depressing country song. Suddenly a large pop is heard followed by loud crackling noises and the engine cutting out. Brandon quickly pulls over to the side and safely parks his vehicle. He attempts to turn the car on but it doesn't budge, not even a little bit to give them some decency of hope. After the 4th time, Brandon sighs and turns to Claire with a smile.)

Brandon: Is there any way you can heal my car?

(The two of them begin to laugh.)

Brandon: Alright, let me pop the hood and pretend like I know what I'm doing.

(Brandon pops the front hood of the vehicle and thoroughly looks inside but does not see anything odd.)

Brandon: Okay, usually there's smoke coming outta the hood, like in the movies; at least I would've known where to start. (Checks all fuel levels)

Claire: You went on a road trip and know nothing about cars?

Brandon: I- Know a thing or two just-

Claire: … Just not three?

Brandon: Exactly. Get this girl a treat- or heck maybe me; I'm starving. We literally just passed a diner not even a quarter mile back; I was debating whether or not to go there anyway. (Closes the hood) Let's get going, shall we?

Claire: Sure, yeah; lead the way.

(A short time passes and the two of them are seen walking back toward the diner having a rather friendly discussion.)

Brandon: So, you said your healing powers only heal whatever bruises or scars you had after you obtained the power, right?

Claire: Yeah, correct.

Brandon: So… in the story you were telling me about your uncle, he was shot point blank by a man in an office, but he obtained your power after he was shot and healed.

Claire: Uh… Huh, I guess so yeah. That remains a mystery to me now.

Brandon: I'm thinking, maybe you can heal scars. Have you tried damaging an old childhood scar and seeing if would re-heal completely?

Claire: I haven't thought too much about it.

Brandon: (Breathing heavily and is suddenly a bit weak) Yeah? Well, like I said before, I only like talking about this stuff with you when you bring it up. For right now, my mind is only set on one thing-

(The waitress serves them food as the two of them sit in a corner at the diner.)

Waitress: Waffles- hot and served with a delicious flavor and a side of syrup as sweet as my smile. (Giggles) Let me know if you darling's need anything else.

Brandon: For sure, we will, miss. Thank you so much.

(The waitress quickly leaves and Claire pokes at her food with a spoon. Brandon just digs in without a care of who's around.)

Brandon: What are you afraid it's poisoned or what?

Claire: No, just wondering how long I can go without actually eating… Do I even need to eat? I mean, obviously not but I mean would my body lose weight from lack of nutrients, would I stay the same size…?

Brandon: (Slopping through his food like a pig) I mean, if you don't wanna eat your food, I'll take care of it for it.

Claire: No, no; it's fine; I'll eat it… (Gets deep in thought as she attempts a first bite) Can I even get full?

Brandon: I can take a hint, you want me to have your delicious omlette.

Claire: Sorry, no. I didn't mean it like that; I'm just curious is all.

Brandon: (Takes a moment to calm himself and get into the moment) When was the last time you were legitimately satisfied with your life.

Claire: What do you mean?

Brandon: You've told me a few stories about your past but why does every story end in loss for you? Why can't you focus much on the good things?

Claire: I don't know, I never thought about it really. I mean I guess my whole world changed the moment I discovered my ability. I felt broken and- different. Like something inside of me changed. I don't know, I guess I just never fully recovered from that.

Brandon: Huh. (Leans back and takes a small bit of one of his waffles) What you're saying is your reality braking; is what was lost.

Claire: I didn't know what was going on, I didn't know what to do.

Brandon: When something big or impactful happens to us, we tend to go through the "bridge" is what it feels like. We become a new person, just in the same physical form, but you know where I'm going with this. Sometimes being a new person means finding a new foundation for us to build the next set of chapters in our life on. After you discovered your power, what were the first thoughts that flooded your mind the most? Whatever your thoughts were dominantly in the beginning is usually what starts the foundation of our new chapters.

Claire: (Pokes at her food again a few times then takes a small bite) Well… I don't know.

Brandon: You probably felt confused; unsure.

Claire: I wanted to see how far I could go with it. I pushed my limits to see if I could die.

Brandon: How do you feel about death, Claire? I mean now that you bring that up how do you actually feel about it?

Claire: It's helped me be more courageous I guess. It's helped give me some kind of purpose.

Brandon: Attempting suicide?

Claire: yeah. I don't know why, but it just did.

Brandon: Did it help you break whatever mental chain was in your mind?

Claire: It helped me get through the rough times.

(The two of them stare intensely at each other and Brandon slowly slides Claire's plate closer to her. He remains quiet as he takes a sip of orange juice and continues eating. Claire then grabs her fork and begins silently eating along with him.)

[Manhattan Hospital, Peter]

(Peter enters the cafeteria and sees Nurse Kelly buying a tray of food. She makes a swift purchase then finds a seat. After a very short few seconds she quickly, but casually, paces out of the cafeteria, leaving her food behind. Unsure if he should get involved, Peter walks up to the nearby vending machine to get a quick protein bar but before making his selection, he decides to chase after her. He sees Kelly on the curve outside attempting to light a cigarette in her mouth. He approaches her and crosses his arms.

Peter: You know those things will kill you faster.

Kelly: (Shocked at the idea of him talking to her and sighs) I know, I stopped when I was a teenager, but, I just had a moment of weakness I guess.

Peter: Some might say that means you had a breakthrough. You're going through something rather personal I can tell; how bad is it?

Kelly: (Tries not to cry) It's just family stuff.

Peter: I know all about family stuff. You need to talk? I've got a few minutes.

(The two of them sit in the cafeteria at a small table and Peter takes a huge bite of his protein bar while fully opening his ears to what Kelly has to say.)

Kelly: Well… (Takes a long deep breath and avoids eye contact) How do I say this without sounding like a damsel in distress? I had- a father come into my life; my birth father and- he- has just… uh…

Peter: (Gently places his hand on her wrist and makes eye-contact) It's okay, it's just us here; I won't judge you.

(Kelly is unsure for a split moment whether he truly is or not, but after a few short seconds she slowly lowers her guard.)

Kelly: You know- (Slides her arm away from his) I think it might be better if we just enjoyed our lunch; sorry I drug you into my personal problem. (Awkwardly laughs) It's okay; I'll be okay.

Peter: Well how about this? If I asked you out tonight, for dinner, would you at least be willing to talk to me then?

Kelly: (Confused) I- Peter, I'm flattered. This is just so unexpected, wow. Y-yeah I'd love to!

Peter: Perfect. You like Italian? I know this amazing place not too far from here.

Kelly: Um… (Shrugs and slightly blushes) Sure. (Giggles)

(Kelly is pretty excited, but then her smile quickly goes away and she can't help but to cry.)

Peter: Hey, it's okay…

Kelly: (Mellows herself out a bit and looks up at Peter) I see myself in you. The truth is, I've been stalking you for weeks now- months actually. Since the moment I saw you, I knew you were like me. I saw something damaged in you but I also saw strength. My father- didn't directly do anything to me, that I remember, but he let other men-

Peter: Hey, hey; it's okay; you don't have to go there if you don't want to.

Kelly: But I do, Peter. I do wanna go there. I know because I forgot how much of an affect it had on me until I met you. I know I might sound creepy for saying this, but I think I felt- love. I saw a loving heart in you and it reminded me how much I used to love- a- (Takes a moment to keep her tears in) and the very thing that blocked me from loving resurfaced, and that was my dad. Peter, my dad was supposed to be my protector… I let my guard down and put my trust in him and he- used me for his own selfi- Egh…

(She shakes a bit as she starts to relive those moments but she grabs Peter's hand tightly. She's able to quickly regulate her breathing then she finds the confidence to finish her story.)

Kelly; My father took something from me- my light. He stole my sense of power. I've always felt powerless my entire life- going with the crowd and never doing what I wanted to; not giving myself the option to consider what I wanted for my own life. (Locks eye contact) Peter I see you've gone through the same thing too. I see how crazy you are all the time. I only wanted to love that part of you that I saw was a reflection of my broken-self. I know this doesn't make sense-

Peter: No, it makes perfect sense. I guess in some ways- I'm the same. Truthfully I've always felt alone and I've slowly been trying to save the world one person at a time because I see my pain in them.

Kelly: I can tell you're not open about this stuff.

Peter: I guess we both took a leap of faith today.

Kelly: How did you deal with that hole your father left in you?

Peter: Honestly, it feels synthetic; recreated from who I really am, but- not nearly as strong. It's about taking life in your hands and forging something with it, you know?

Kelly: You try so hard to be strong that you don't allow yourself to face why you don't feel whole in the first place.

Peter: Bad things happen to us all the time; being sad about it isn't going to help.

Kelly: Yeah, but masking it doesn't help either. I learned that a long time ago. I- can't help but ask if it would still be okay to have dinner with you tonight? I feel like we can learn a lot from each other.

Peter: I mean… yeah. I'm not much into the dating but I figured with you stalking me an all it might be a good place to have a talk about that. (Leans back in the chair and crosses his arms) Okay, I'll give it a shot. Hesam is always telling me I need to go out and do something with myself.

Kelly: (Smiles big) Great, I'll meet you at that Italian place tonight. I'll text you when I'm ready. Now that you know I stalked you I can actually contact you instead of staring at your number all day in my phone. (Lightly laughs)

Peter: (Smiles) It's good you're being honest about it.

[Washington, Noah Bennet]

(Noah wakes up feeling slightly charged after his morning ritual- newspaper followed by a hot cup of steaming coffee. he makes sure everything is all cleaned up before leaving his apartment with a huge smile on his face. As he exits the room, he sees a young teenage boy sitting on the floor near his neighbor's door in tears.)

Bennet: Elliot?

(The kid slowly looks up at Noah and wipes his face with the back of his wrists which are untainted with spray paint.)

Elliot: Mr. Bennet… (Finishes wiping his face) Why won't my dad accept me for being different?

Bennet: (Sighs) Well, you have to understand he's afraid. He doesn't understand your world and the harsh reality is that he probably never will, but all you can do in a situation like this is try to find middle ground with your father to help him understand your worlds aren't as different as they may seem.

(Elliot stares at Noah slowly trying to think of what he can do to fix things with his father while also failing to stop more tears from falling from his face.)

Bennet: (Takes a few steps closer to him) Look, everything will be fine, okay; in the meantime, running away isn't the answer. Eventually you'll get there, but I'll tell you now it's dangerous for people like you. Try to make your father understand but also know that it is his choice whether he wants to let you in or not. If all else fails, make a plan for yourself.

Elliot: (Nods and accepts Noah's advice) Okay, Mr. Bennet. But- if I fail at getting him to love me, will you help me- make a plan I mean?

Bennet: … I'll be honest, son; there's nothing I can do to help. This is a journey you must take on your own, I'm sorry. (Smiles and offers the kid a hand)

(Elliot looks at Bennet's hand and slowly reaches for it. He grabs it and Bennet helps him to his feet. As he does so, the door opens and Elliot's sweaty father comes out in a slight rage. Once he comprehends his son standing in front of a foreign man in tears, his temper quickly cools, but he continues to use his anger slightly as an attempt to give the illusion of control.)

Sweaty Guy: What're you doing out here, get inside, son!

(Elliot quickly enters the apartment and his father faces off with Bennet who just gives him a friendly smile.)

Bennet: Kids, huh. They can cause so much trouble, especially when you do all you can to keep them in line. (Allows a short moment of silence to pass before stepping closer to him) I had a daughter who went against my wishes multiple times, but at the end of the day I realized the more I tried to control her, the more she fought back. I always followed the rules but at some point I realized it was my daughter, my child who taught me how to love and the importance of honesty. Honesty can be scary but I feel only children can truly bring that out in us.

Sweaty Guy: I appreciate the advice, Dr. Phil, but again, leave us be. If I ever need advice, I'll ask for it, and I'm sure as heck am not going to ask you. (Slams door closed)

Bennet: That went a lot better than I expected. (Walks off down the hall)

[Savannah, GA, Specials Training Facility]

(Leaning over the counter of the receptionist desk is a very nervous Lars impatiently waiting for someone's arrival. After a short few seconds, Tracy comes out of one of the back rooms talking with another woman.)

Lars: Strauss! Tracy! (Quickly rushes her)

Receptionist: SIR! You can't do that! I'll call security!

Katherine: Who's this freak?

Tracy: A fly… a really big fly.

Katherine: Well, we better swat him quick; work's gotta be done.

Lars: (Stops in front of them) Tracy hi!

(Suddenly, a red-haired woman jumps between them and raises her finger to Lars.)

Therese: Hold it, mister, or I'll zap you!

Tracy: (Slightly confused yet intrigued) I don't even know what she does, but it must be something exciting.

Katherine: Therese has the ability to hypnotize her victims. Just by pointing her fingers, her enemies are rendered idle.

Lars: Wow… neat… But hey, I came here for Tracy!

Tracy: How did you even find me?

Lars: I used up a favor which could've been helpful later on but nonetheless, it was worth using. I sort-of infiltrated an anti-evo meeting but it turned out it was a setup to kill the ones taking their hate too far. Luckily I was a survivor among the group and still had access to the digital billboard of Specials marked for termination. Normally I wouldn't go this far, but the latest update was a kid with invisibility in Odessa.

Tracy: (Stares at him and attempts to derail his point) Vigilante justice isn't my forte. Now do me a favor and leave. (Walks off)

Lars: Building 26 agents say otherwise.

Tracy: (Stops in her tracks an snarls) Darn it. (Turns around)

Lars: (Puts his hands in his pocket) I made sure I had dirt on you first. Listen you know what you know now and you need to be a role model for the students here. Come with me and save this kid or leave him to fate.

Tracy: (Gets in his face) You're bold for wasting a contact to find me.

Lars: I did what I had to do. Now let's get going before this kid gets into serious trouble. (Walks away) I'll lead the way.

(Bennet is seen entering a large building in Washington and makes his way to an office room near the top. There he sees a woman staring out into the city with a constant scowl on her face surrounded by two bodyguards. She turns her chair around to look Bennet face-to-face.)

Angela: What is this?

(Angela's 2 bodyguards remain still and do not move an inch. Bennet gives her a blank stare and pulls his pistol out from the back of his pants.)

Angela: Really? Are you absolutely sure you want to go this route, Noah? With everything we've been through with this company, this is how it all comes to an end.

Noah: Sorry, Angela but you brought this on yourself.

(Noah clicks his gun, slowly raises it and gently places it on the table before her. He guards continuing to stand still without making a move.)

Angela: I can't say I blame you, but still, I can honestly say you were one of the first employees to survive long enough to see retirement.

Noah: You're in control of everything now, Angela; you know where not to find me if things ever get too crazy- anywhere in sight.

Angela: Thank you, Bennet, for your hard work and dedication.

Noah: Thank you for giving me purpose. I may not have a clue as to what I'm going to do next, but I don't think eith-

(There is a strange skip and both Bennet and Angela, as well as her two body guards, hold the side of their head's in agony from a passing sharp pain lasting nearly half a minute. After an additional short few seconds the two of them look around in slight confusion but Angela seems more terrified than anything.)

Noah: Okay… What was that? I don't think I've ever had a migraine quite like that.

Angela: I'd hope not. That was truly a- t-terrifying experience.

Noah: Anyway, I'm not sure what's next for my journey but I'm sure neither of us do.

Angela: I'll keep your name close by just in case, Noah. Thank you again.

Noah: (Smiles gratefully and says in Japan) See you in the next life. (Walks out of the room)

(Just as Noah leaves the room, Angela grabs her cell phone and makes what appears to be an urgent phone call. After a few rings, an interesting voice picks up the other line.)

Englishmen: Bonjour, Mrs. Petrelli. I'm guessing this call is assurance you've received my message moments ago; is your head feeling ok?

Angela: I am not going to play games with you. I am urging you right now to shut this down or you will singlehandedly be responsible for the death of us all. This world has gone through enough shock already and this silly feat is the last thing it needs.

Englishman: Oh, on the contrary, Mrs. Petrelli, I'm simply bringing life to this plain, not death. (Menacingly laughs) And with everything going on, now is the perfect time for this project to go underway. The world will need guidance; why not give it to them?

Angela: The world's vulnerable and scared and you know it. Stop this right now?!

Englishman: I trust our next talk is going to be one of unity, not one of moral disagreement. Goodbye for now, Ma'am. (Takes a few moments before hanging up)

(Angela can't help but to stare straight at the other side of the wall and remain deep in thought on what to do next. One the other side of the line in a large aesthetically pleasing office room, the strange Englishman places his flip phone on the desk beside him with a strange "S"-shaped symbol decorated on the front Before him are two interesting faces.)

Red Hood: Now that she's been given the message, Angela Petrelli knows of my reawakening.

Englishman: She knows only what I wish for her to and otherwise your utilization of Hiro's ability won't allow her to predict your movements in the future.

Samuel: Now, now, friend; before you go getting all jumpy just remember my buddy here is helping you out simply because he chooses to; we do not work for you so speak with some manors, eh?

Englishman: (Smirks and looks at the two of them) Of course. I mean no disrespect.

Red Hood: This "Red Queen" and her scowling advisor- she needs legal ownership of The Company. (Empathetic) I know you feel it rightfully belonged to you after the Founders were all dead, but you need to remain in these shadows and operate as the heart of The Company. The Red Queen only needs to be the face of things. She is only the public figure.

(The Englishman is very unhappy about the situation. Moments later, in comes a woman who very quickly changes her appearance.)

Candice: Sorry, but constantly using my power for psychiatric evaluations is such a drag. (Stops and feels the tension in the room) I would say "did someone die" but in this place that seems to be an everyday thing. What's up, boss.

Samuel: (Whispers to her) A bit prideful for a moment, your boss, but I'd take it easy on him. It involves the Company.

Englishman: (Moans and slaps his hands on the table) The "Red Queen" jumped ahead of me in line for ownership of the Company so this sets me back a rank.

Candice: The Company is a dump anyway.I wouldn't worry too much about it. (Sees a sugary snack on his desk) Ooh, donut. Hope no one had dibs. (Grabs it and takes a bit) Ooh, so yummy! It's been forever since I've had real food! This facility is such a bore!

Red Hood: I'd get out before your boss literally terminates you- no matter how cute you look.

(Candice winks at him and leaves the room.)

[Tokyo Japan, Hiro Nakamura's office]

(Hiro appears in his office and approaches his computer. He quickly sits in his chair, adjusts his glasses and accesses his surveillance cameras. He checks back a few days ago and sees the footage of Ando and Kimiko encountering the young man who stabbed Kimiko in the chest. Hiro watches it to get an accurate time then closes his eyes to travel back. He appears in the office seconds after the young man stabs Kimiko. Hiro yells as he knows he went a few seconds too far and missed his opportunity. The Young Man quickly jumps out of the window and Hiro freezes time. He looks down at his best friend and sister and can't help but to feel a sense of failure slightly creep over him.)

Hiro: I'm so sorry, my friend, I have failed you, both of you.

(A loud crash is heard which snaps Hiro into focus. The items and people in the room slowly begin to move forward in time but only for a few short seconds before freezing again. Hiro quickly runs to the window and sees the Young Man has made contact with the ground from the highest floor of the city building. He closes his eyes and teleports back down, with time still frozen, and appears in front of the Young Man. The Young Man looks around in slight confusion and orange lightning surges around his body.)

Young Man: Ah… So this is what it's like to exist outside of time.

Hiro: Who are you?! Why did you do that?! Wait… You don't belong here.

Young Man: Damien was able to transfer our consciousness into the past through our memories thanks to the necklace. We were meant to change the past and fix everything, but the fact that my tie to my future body is severed and you're here to stop what I did, which obviously you failed at, only means you made a deal with Damien to fix everything yourself.

Hiro: I did, but now you must go, after you explain to me why you did this and how you're able to talk outside of time.

Young Man: (Looks around in fascination) Exactly that, Hiro. I have the ability to manipulate energy. To be within something is to know it but to exist outside of it means to control. When I control energy through my body, I can sometimes exist outside of the molecular structure of energy and therefore have it not effect me, depending on the circumstances. Like you, I can exist and observe the world outside of time from a molecular point of view.

Hiro: Then I will just have to stop you the old fashion way.

(Hiro closes his eyes then raises his arm to engage in battle with his Kensei sword in hand ready to fight.)

Young Man: (Paces back and forth) Ha, as if I'm stupid enough to dance with the great Hiro Nakamoto in a duel. I'd be committing suicide.

Hiro: Why did you attack my sister?!

Young Man: (Continues to pace back and forth) I didn't come for her, I came for him. Ando Masahashi in the future becomes a terrorist along with many others, for US not for THEM! He was cold and murdered my wife over his precious formula!

Hiro: No, the formula is gone; we destroyed it!

Young Man: Say what you want. That doesn't change the fact that he killed for it. I came back to kill him but I see I killed his lover by mistake.

Hiro: You will pay for this. You will not get away with what you have done.

Young Man: I'm sure I won't but in the meantime Hiro Nakamura, I will see you again in the present.

(The space around the Young Man warps and he engulfs himself in an orange sphere or energy. He takes off and dashes through the city at an incredible speed.)

[Unknown Location, Claire and Brandon]

(The two of them find a repair shop and see a man working alone on a car. He has headphones in and is tightening the wheels on a car, not noticing both Brandon and Claire approach him.)

Brandon: Excuse us- sir?

(Both Brandon and Claire glance at one another. Brandon slightly heightens his voice.)

Brandon: Sir!

(The man jumps as if there were ants in his pants and drops the wrench to the ground as well as his headphones.)

Grease Monkey: Dang it! Do you gotta yell so loud; you nearly gave an old man a heart attack! Ah! Can I help you kid's with something?

Brandon: Our uh…

(Brandon gets light headed and suddenly and nearly falls toward the ground but he quickly catches himself and takes a deep breath.)

Grease Monkey: You square? Sodas are in the back office; help yourself to whatever you need; I know the feeling.

(Brandon gives him an OK with his hand and quickly runs toward the office. The shop worker looks at Claire with a strange look on his face.)

Grease Monkey: Do I know you from somewhere? (Raises his finger as he believes he knows where he's seen her) You're that Spear girl's sister aren't you?!

Claire: Uh, yeah, One More Time; that was my jam. My "sister" had fun singing it all the time.

(Brandon comes out from the back holding a can of soda in hand gulping it down.)

Brandon: Alright, cool. Thank you so much, sir. How much do I owe you?

Grease Monkey: Don't worry about it. I'm guessing you kids need a fixing? Where's the junker?

Brandon: About half a mile down the road. Luckily you weren't too far from here.

Grease Monkey: Yeah, luckily… (Looks at the two of them suspiciously) You kids obviously have some place to be so I'll make it quick. Push your car on in and I'll get her purring by the morning, how's that sound?

Claire: Sure, but… you don't even know what's wrong with the car.

Grease Monkey: Doesn't matter. Thanks to these people with super powers running around everywhere, business hasn't quite been the same. On the outskirts of town, there are evos who have started a transportation service where they can literally teleport cars long distances. Because of this, they've been skipping through towns and my business hasn't been good. Soon I'll actually be out of a job simply because I can't afford to pay the property tax.

Claire: Oh… Well, we'll be sure to provide you some good service, sir.

Grease Monkey: Thanks, kids, but your car a'int gonna push itself in; you should bring it in as soon as possible. In case I need to order parts, I don't want the nearby stores to be closed. Also there's a nearby motel for the two of you to sleep in; it shouldn't be too expensive.

Brandon: Great, we'll be back shortly, sir. (Nods and walks off with Claire)

(As the two of them walk out near the main road, Claire can't help but to think.)

Brandon: I know what you're thinking; it's not your fault.

Claire: I didn't say it was.

Brandon: Yeah but you were thinking it.

Claire: Are you a mind reader now?

Brandon: Could be, but for now let's just say I'm a good judge of character. Businesses go bad; that's just how things go. Don't think you did this to that man for what you did. Now come on; let's keep moving forward.

(The two of them eventually get to their vehicle and see that the wheels of the car are missing. Brandon just displayed a look of unbelief, yet unsurprised on his face.)

Brandon: Well this is nice. It's good to know there are thieves in the middle of nowhere. (Puts his hands in his pocket) Oh well, back to square one- find some wheels.

[Tokyo Japan, Hospital]

(Hiro appears at the hospital and eventually finds his sister's room. He opens the door and sees Ando standing beside Kimiko holding her hand. He approaches the two of them.)

Hiro: I'm sorry, I was not able to stop this.

Kimiko: (Smiles) Come here, little brother.

(Hiro approaches his sister and Ando silently backs out without making eye contact with Hiro.)

Kimiko: If it was my fate to go, then I will be happy to die. You cannot change the past not even for me.

Hiro: But I did this, I caused this. That man who stabbed you was here from the future. Because of me, he came back to get revenge for what Ando did in his timeline. I created this villain and I got you hurt; that is why I must fix it.

Kimiko: Fate has plans for us all, brother. Today fate's plan is for me to live. I will not die any time soon. Be grateful mom and dad are looking out for me- for us, because there is no way, you can run this company alone.

(The two of them laugh and Kimiko wipes the tear from Hiro's face.)

Kimiko: Everything will be ok. (Holds Hiro's hand)

Ando: (Approaches Hiro) Hiro, I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier, I was just upset that you weren't here, but you did not deserve that and I am sorry.

Hiro: (Displays a big smile on his face as if he were a kid again) Together, we will make things right again.

[Odessa Texas]

(A Blonde woman approaches a large two story house and rings the doorbell. Behind her is a handsome young man who for the most part tries to keep his cool, but for some reason is fidgety.)

Tracy: In all the years dealing with you, you've always been a disappointment. Count yourself lucky I've given you another chance. This lead better be solid.

Fidgety Guy: It's legitimate this time, no lie, Tracy.

(Tracy turns to glare at him.)

Fidgety Guy: Sorry, I mean, Ms. Strauss.

Tracy: (Sighs in annoyance) This better be worth my time, I've got things to do.

(The door is opened and it appears to be a young blonde teenage around the age of 16.)

Christina: Hello?

Tracy: Hello. My name is Tracy Strauss and I've been appointed your guardian angel. (Smiles)

(Hiding in plain sight before them is Ryan remaining invisible.)
