Part 1 - Her Lahote And His Swan

Bella was down at the beach with some of her fellow classmates, when a voice called out to her or her name was called from the beach area;

"Bella!" And she and the other friends of hers also looked over to see a gang of tall boys, one of whom she recognised as Jacob, and the other two she did not know who they were, but she gave a friendly smile, as she said

"Hey Jacob, who are the two with you?" At that he frowned alittle but said anyway

"Oh this is Sam Uley and that over there is Paul Lahote and Jared Cameron, aswell Quil Aterea and Embry Call."

Bella frowned at his look, but she gave them all a friendly smile, then she said

"Oh this is Jessica Stanley, Mike Newton, Lauren Mallory, Eric Yorkie and Angela Weber. Guys, meet my friend Jacob Black, and his friends; Paul Lahote, Sam Uley, Jared Cameron, Embry Call and Quil Aterea."

Jacob frowned of being called friend only from her, but said nothing, while they all exchanged handshakes, no matter what, as Paul whom she also knew since childhood and had also secretly feelings for, although she didnt know he felt the same for her yet, said to her

"Hi B, thought I wouldn't see you here again."

Bella just gave him a soft smile, as she said (while others stared onto them with wonder, confusion or in Jacob's case jealousy.);

"Well things changed, Paul, as you know I wrote to you about it, haven't the letter come yet?"

At he shook his head, but said anyways

"No, but it could have been delayed on the route, its normal, B." Bella chuckled as she said

"So true, remember that time when you wrote to me, and I didnt respond for a month, you were so worried that you got my number from Ch- my dad and he too was confused of why you wanted it from him, but I am glad he gave it to you, Paul. For I really needed to hear your voice too."

At that he just smiled, and nodded as he did remember that time, and how worried both had been for each other. Sam just smiled softly, as a female voice came over to them said

"Whats going on here, Sammy?" Sam groaned softly, as he turned to the voice, said

"Only being introduced to some people from Forks, Leah. Leah, meet the chief's daugther, Bella Swan, and her school fellows; Lauren Mallory, Angela Weber, Eric Yorkie, and where did Mike Newton and Tyler Crowley go?"

Bella looked around and shrugged, said

"Don't know really. Hi Leah, it is good to see you too." Leah huffed but said nothing more than to starting on to drag Sam away, as he complained to her that she could go, but he was going to stay put for it is rude to leave without any reasons behind it, and she pouted but turned around anyways.

Bella rolled her eyes, as Paul said

"Could we talk alone, B? Maybe take a walk on the beach for few?" At that Bella smiled and nodded her head, as she took his outstreched hand in her own smaller one, and the two took off on their stroll. Jacob stared after them or at her with some anger and jealousy, but the others did not notice it at all.

Meanwhile with Paul and Bella, they gone far enough, and the two sat down on a fallen log, and sat there looking out onto the ocean, and its waves, after a while, he said

"Bella, will you be my girlfriend?" At that she gasped, then said

"Yes, of course I will be, as I do love you, Paul. I have had feelings for you for a while now."

"A while?"

"Ok, years now, but yes." At that he smiled, as the two snuggled more into each other as a cold breeze came around and it made Bella shiver abit, as Paul just wrapped an arm around her, and held her for awhile, after a while she looked up into his eyes, said

"You may kiss your girlfriend, mind you it is my first."

At that he looked shocked but smiled then leaned down and gave her first kiss from himself, and after a few, the two separated but smiled happily too. (A/N: All humans, and Bella is 18 and Paul is 19 in this story.) And then after a while, the two stood up and held hands between themselves, and walked back to their friends were at, and when they came back, some gasped of the sight of them holding hands, while Jacob glared with jealousy and somewhat hatred. Bella rolled her eyes at the sight of his childish behaviour, and didnt say either anything, just stood by Paul and holding his hand with ease. Afterall they were boyfriend and girlfriend now, and they knew deep within themselves they were meant to be with each other no matter what others felt or thought around themselves.

But before anyone could react, all of her school friends left, as Bella was going to stay back and with Paul for a while longer, and she followed the friends of Paul's to Sam's parents' house, whom both smiled and greeted Bella with happiness of her and Paul's dating now. Jacob just huffed and glared, while he sat down heavily on the couch. Neither of the others took notice of his behaviour. As Josh said

"My goodness, you have grown up to be a very beautiful one, Bella dear." At that she blushed but she hugged him then also Alison who also said something about her, as Bella recognised the two now so much more, when she heard their voices. Paul just smiled and kissed her head gently, as she just smiled up to him. Others just smiled at the two, while Jacob continued to sulk in his seat.

After a while, they all left the house of Sam's, and Paul took Bella to his own house, and he told her on the way, that his father was in jail for murdering his own mother, and she gasped then teared up for his pain, as she said

"Oh Paul, why didnt you tell me in the letters?"

"I wanted to tell you in person, baby." Bella just smiled at that but she still gave him a tight hug despite that, and told him how sorry she was to lose his own mother to his own father, she just couldnt fathom that loss really. But he was grateful for her support and love despite his past recent.

And soon they were inside of his house, and she looked around, then said

"Well you need some female touches, Paul, then it will be perfect to live in. As we spoke about moving in together afterall in our letters, a while back now."

At that he smiled, then said

"You want to live here with me, already?" Bella nodded, said

"Yes, better than at Ch-dad's house nowadays."

"Why do you say that, Baby?" And Bella told him everything, even with the nightly visits of Edward Cullen of everyone, and how creepy he was, and how much she wanted to be out of that house and with him. He was pissed off to hear this, but he said then lets go and fetch your things to move in today. And she agreed to this, so they took his car to her father's house, luckily he was at work, so he wouldnt see this until later, when he found the house empty of her things and empty without her there to greet him. But she didnt care about him or that house, she cared about Paul and he was the one for her now.

They were afterall his Swan and her Lahote, forever more.
