Part 5 - Reactions and Drama
After it had been revealed of who Bella's real father is to the tribe, it was just a waiting game for it to reach Charlie himself, weither through gossip or that Billy finally came clean to his so-called best friend either way he would be one pissed off man afterall. Hopefully he would give the man some hell too, but who knows really.
Just as they sat down for dinner, they all heard all the sudden a loud roar and what sounded like gunshots ringing out, and due to that, Josh and other fathers of the boys around here, got their protective gear, and took off. Bella stood in Paul's arms, waiting on what what was going on, as they didnt know what was that all about.
Soon a bloody Josh with another bloody man in his arms, as he said
"Ali, call for help we need it."
"What the hell happened who is this in your arms?" Ali said, as Josh said
"It is Jared's father, he got shot in the legs, and lost coniuness because of the sight of blood. Bella look away too." Bella did so, as she did pale of the sight of blood but also the smell of it, and she sat down. Paul placed a hand on her shoulder for now. Jared stood by the couch his dad laid at, and Alison came back out from the kitchen, and said
"The other cops and ambulances are on their way. But what the hell happened?"
"Billy is dead, Charlie shot him to death, and Charlie is being restrained by the other fathers for now. While I took James here to be away from the sight for now."
A cop from the door, while Bella didnt even look any sad of what been told so far, said
"What happened, we got your wife's frantic call on the phone and took off?"
Josh stood up, as Jared took over for him to hold down on the wound on his leg for now. Jared's mother came over when she had heard the news, and she too held onto James for now. Josh then said
"We all had just sat down to eat our dinner, when we hear a roar and then gunshots ringing out, and we took on our gear, as you given us for protection, Matt. And when we arrived, we found Billy Black dead in his wheelchair, I know for I felt for his pulse and it was none. And when we went to tackle Charlie Swan down and take the gun off him, his gun went off and shot James here, who is Jared's father, in his leg. He fainted of the sight and pain only."
Making the man nod, shocked that one of their own, even their chief had done this for what he did not know yet. As the ambulance crew came in and adressed the situation, and found the shot was just a superficial, so they only sew it together and bandaged him up. And now just wait for him wake up from passing out.
Soon they heard that Charlie had been taking away for murdering his own best friend, why was not known yet, but Bella stood up to the cops, and said
"May I say something to you, so you maybe can understand the why?"
"Of course, Bella." And she then proceeded to tell them everything, and they were shocked but it made somewhat sense. As one of them said
"What do you want to happen to Charlie now he killed your father?"
"He may be my biological father, but he never been one to me, as he knew all the long he was my father but he never told his own best friend who gotten Renee, my mother pregnant and not himself, as it turned out that Charlie was infertile. But I want Charlie pay for his crime despite everything else, as he did kill someone who was a friend to him all this time. But for Billy's other children, they will have to learn to live on their own from now on, as I will not have any contact with them from this moment, as I am now an Uley, as I was claimed earlier by the Uley's and the tribal's elder, Mr Quil Aterea the 3rd, or as you all know him as Old Quil, accepted and approved of such, since Billy would never do so for me, to claim me as his daugther."
Making them all nodded, as Paul wrapped his arm around gently for now. The cops and the ambulance crew then left the house to take care of the rest of the mess for now. As the other fathers came by and sat around, while James started to moan and move around, as Jared said
"Dad take it easy. It is ok" And James looked up and said
"What happened afterwards?" And they all told him about what had happened, and he was not one bit sorry, as he felt they had done the right thing despite being shot at. Charlie would get his ass handed not by his own crew, for they had to bring in the FBI and other precients for helping out the Forks PD crew.
While this had happened, the people in Forks learned about what happened through rumor mill, and most were shocked for now.
