NightwolfGamer03: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
theswenuser: Yes, without our electronic villain and Lilly, we enter the top 5. I wonder if your prediction about Duncan will be true or not.
amit. avrashmi: As always, I'm happy you liked the episode, and wow, you have some fair questions. I'm sure they'll be answered sooner or later.
gman5846: Yes, poor Lilly, she had to take responsibility, and about Duncan, we will find now.
tempokepp: I'm really happy you enjoy the episode. Yes Lilly took responsibility but I also wanted to give her some chance to redeem herself, and I think she will leave on a high note.
And about the eliminations, you made some fine points, especially with Duncan. I wonder if he will go in 5th as many say.
Harmony735: Crazy, yes, but I hope you like it.
And as always, a BIG shoutout and THANKS to Geofics, who helps me proofread the episodes. I know you're busy, so I am grateful when you have time to help me. Thank you as always.

DAM-age Control 01
Last time on Total Drama Tyranny of the masses, we had a really exciting challenge, with the campers running along the island, resolving puzzles, and fighting with robots. It was a really realistic humans vs. robots guerilla challenge.
There were treasons, strategy and many robots destroyed. Even some injuries (the image of Duncan with the sling appears on the screen.) And in the end, Courtney won the immunity, destroying most of the robots.
But the big loser of the day was Lilly, eliminated by our fans in the last DAM elimination EVER! Now the top 5 will compete in the most exciting challenges yet. What will happen next? Will the Mike/Sammy alliance win, or will it be Courtney/Duncan alliance? Who will Brick support? The heroes or the villains? And who will go home after the challenge? Find out next on Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses.
The image stops. Chef, Chris, and Logan are looking at the intro on a small and old laptop.
"Sounds quite good, but can we really use the footage recorded yesterday?" asked Chef, raising an eyebrow.
"Steve saved some footage along with some created by DAM, so we probably can make a full 22 minutes episode. But we'll need to record the elimination ceremony later," said Chris, smirking.
Chef rolled his eyes. "I'm actually more worried about where we'll sleep tonight."
"Don't worry Chef, I already have it covered," said the host, making a smug smile.
Logan sighed. At last he could go and rest in the boy's cabin with the rest of the interns and contestants.
Courtney just ignored Chris and ran as fast as she could. She never noticed how far was the campfire from the infirmary.
She had changed. She wasn't the old girl who would use anyone and anything to win. She wasn't the conceited preppy girl or the emotionless slave that just wanted to make her mother proud. She was her own person now. It was simple. She just needed to live as she wanted.
But she didn't realize this alone. She did it thanks to her friends. Dawn, Zoey, Lightning, Sammy, and Mike. Each one taught her a little of herself and gave her the strength to face her own fears and mistakes. But weirdly enough, the one who helped her the most was the person she had hated the most in her life, Duncan.
That wasn't true. It was the old Courtney who hated him. But she already forgave him, and not only that, she became her friend again. He turned into her ally and confidant. Before she realized it, they had become closer again. And just at that moment, he was wounded.
While all these thoughts filled Courtney's mind, she arrived at the door of the infirmary, but maybe she worried a little too much.
"What do you mean my aura isn't silver-colored? Silver is the best color!" said Duncan in an annoyed tone.
"Auras don't work like that. Silver is a color only enlightened people have, which means people that are nothing like you. Also, why do you get upset with me? The color of your aura isn't my fault," replied Dawn in an unusually harsh tone.
Steve nodded. "That's right, Duncan. I think you're unfair with Ms. Dawn."
"Hahaha, I'm not being unfair. She's just misreading my aura to mess with me," replied Duncan, smirking confidently.
Dawn stuttered, looking at him, awed. "I-I'm incapable of lying like that, much less to hurt another person."
"Yes, yes, of course, I'm sure you're lying again," said the delinquent, tongue in cheek.
The aura reader balled her fist and pointed at him with an angry frown. "I hope you don't mind becoming bald because people like you lose all their hair before they're 30 years old."
"Oh. C'mon Dusk, I was joking, stop with the cursing," said Duncan covering his head while blanching.
The three laughed, but then Steve noticed Courtney at the door.
"Good evening miss Courtney," said the chubby intern, bowing a little.
Duncan turned at the door and waved while Dawn ran toward her.
"Hello Courtney. It's been a while. I'm happy to see you found what you were looking for," said the aura reader in her serene voice.
"Hi Dawn, I'm so glad you're ok. I was afraid that fake Chris had hurt you," said Courtney, hugging her. This startled Dawn, who after a moment also hugged her.
The aura reader then looked back at the intern and winked. "It seems Steve and I must go to talk with the others. I hope we can catch up later."
"Of course, see you later," said Courtney. As she entered the place, Steve and Dawn both went away to give them a little privacy.
Duncan smirked. "Oh, did you come all the way just to see me? I'm blushing."
"Yes, when I heard you got hurt I ran all the way here. Are you ok? Is it serious?" asked Courtney, putting a hand on his leg.
He was startled. She usually never replied so honestly. "Don't worry, I'm fine. It seems worse than it is. A robot hit me and dislocated my arm-"
"What? What do you mean you're fine? That is a serious injury!" replied Courtney, watching him with a worried expression.
He ran his hand across his mohawk. "They check on me and give me a lot of painkillers and some medicine to reduce the swelling."
"But there is no way you can continue in the show with an injury like that!" replied the Latin girl. She knew the basics about injuries and saw a few dislocations during her time as a counselor and they weren't as simple as Duncan said.
"Maybe with painkillers and after putting the shoulder in its place, I can still go on," said Duncan, but he didn't sound as confident as usual
Courtney sighed. "Do what you think is the best for YOU. If it's about that promise you made me, you already have done more than enough."
"What? Princess, I promised you to give you the million dollars, and I intend to deliver," replied the delinquent, looking her in the eyes.
"Duncan, there are things more important than a million dollars or winning. So please think about yourself, ok?" she said, her words resounding in him.
He sighed. "I'll talk with Chef. If there is any kind of danger, I'll be out of the competition. Are you happy?"
"I am now," she said, making a big smile that made Duncan's heart skip a beat.
He cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "And now that we're alone, what was that that you wanted to tell me?"
"Excuse me?" asked the former CIT, not sure what Duncan was talking about.
"You told me to go to the campfire to talk, but after all that happened last night, we didn't get the chance. So we can talk about it now if you want."
"Oh that," Courtney blushed and then took a deep breath. "You're right. I think now is a good chance," after saying this, she took another deep breath.
There was a small silence. Courtney was trying to get her act together while Duncan was looking at her with expectation. Could this be what he was waiting for?
"I'm sorry," she said in a neutral tone, lowering her head.
Duncan felt his heart sink. This wasn't what he was expecting.
"Don't worry about it princess," he replied, trying to not show his disappointment.
"No, after what you told me in the cave is just fair I also apologize. I was a horrible girlfriend. I was manipulative, jealous, arrogant, and really self-centered. I was so afraid of messing with our relationship and future that I wanted to control you and make you the perfect boyfriend. And in the end, I only hurt you. I'm sorry," said Courtney, her eyes tearing a little.
Duncan blinked a couple of times. "Are you apologizing for that? Really?"
"Of course, but believe me, as bad as I was, I really loved you," she said, blushing. "I just wasn't ready for a relationship. I was so messed up, wanting to make my mother proud and obsessed with winning that I lost sight of what was really important. Do you forgive me?"
"Princess, of course I forgive you," he said, chuckling. "If not, why would I be trying to help you win the million?"
She shrugged, blushing. "I don't know. Maybe you wanted to make amends but still resent me. You're weird like that."
They both laughed, "You're not exactly normal, princess. Apologizing after so many years."
"I know. But I wanted to do it, so I can move forward," she replied, making a small smile.
Both then looked at each other. Duncan knew that he had fallen in love with her again. When she apologized earlier and he thought she was rejecting him, he realized how much he cared for her.
Then he looked at her seriously. "Courtney, should we t-"
"Wow, look at them. And here I was wondering why she ran away like that. She wanted to watch over her ex-boyfriend," said an annoying voice familiar to both campers.
Courtney glared at him. "Chris? Chef? What are you doing here?"
"Our rooms are now buried with the rest of the central facility, and Chef and I are worried about poor Duncan. So we're spending the night in the infirmary," replied Chris, making his classic smile. "Oh, and also the beds in the cabins are too hard… and dirty."
Chef nodded, "and small, I don't know how the spiky-haired guy or the Aussie amazon could sleep on those."
"But those hard, dirty, and small beds are good enough for the contestants," said Courtney glaring at them.
"It's late. Let's not discuss that. Go and sleep with the other girls. We have a lot to talk about tomorrow," said the host, raising his arms defensibly.
She shook her head and looked at Duncan. "I'll come to see you tomorrow, have a good night."
"You too, princess," he replied, winking.
Courtney then went out of the infirmary without saying anything else to Chef or Chris.
"Wow, she's as scary as ever," said Chris, shivering. "I can't believe she says her mother is worse."
Duncan glared at him, "you just envy that she has more backbone than you'll ever have."
"Don't try to provoke me Duncan, these last few weeks have been bad," replied the host. He then began to look at the infirmary's beds. "Ugh, they're too soft and as dirty as the ones in the cabins. How am I supposed to sleep in these conditions?"
Chef meanwhile, walked toward the delinquent and looked at the dislocated shoulder. "You're lucky. It seems there are no broken bones or internal injuries. We can try to put the bone in its place here, but it would be better to do it with better equipment. But to do that you would need to quit the game."
"CHEF! Don't say that! We already eliminated Lilly. We can't also eliminate him," he then realized that Duncan was in front of him. "Also, we can't steal his chance to be the first two-time winner of the show."
"Ok, Chef, ignoring McLean, if you fix me here, what are the chances that I'll have problems with my shoulder in the future?" asked the delinquent in an unusually serious tone.
Chris walked toward them. "Little to none. Your injury was a really clean one, so he only needs to put the arm in its place, right Chef?"
"I think your chances are 50/50. I'm not a specialist, so there is a chance I hurt you while putting the arm in its place." Said Chef folding his arms. "And you can't be like that for a long time, so think about it. I'll give you enough painkillers so you can sleep tonight."
Chris stood at the other side of Duncan's bed, looking him in the eyes. "Hear me Duncan, we're now in a pretty tight place in the competition. And losing you to med-evacuation could ruin what is already a pretty hurt season. So please think carefully before going. Ok?"
"Please, Chris, stop asking like that, or I'll just accept Chef's offer to go out of the island just to spite you," replied Duncan, making a mocking smile.
"Why must every one of you be so cruel to poor me? I just want the best for you and the show," said Chris, evidently depressed. "I'll go to sleep. I hope tomorrow things begin to improve."
Chef and Duncan rolled their eyes.
"Think about it punk, it's your arm," said Chef, who then went to sleep on the bed next to Duncan.
The delinquent nodded but didn't reply. He still has to think about what happened with Courtney. Should he tell her how he feels? After some moments, the painkillers took effect, and he fell into a dreamless sleep, for a short while.
He woke up in the morning. The night was a long one. Even if he was grateful to sleep in a bed and not in a cot, the snoring of his friend kept him awake for some hours. He usually would sleep until noon on non-challenge days. But today, he didn't have time to waste.
He went to the showers and locked the door, not wanting to meet any of the campers. He then winced before the dirty stall and began to take a shower. This was no different from washing in the river! The shower was not hot enough, he couldn't change the pressure, and there were no massage options. It sucked.
Also, he could only save 2 of his shampoos and none of his conditioner. But he was used to hardships. He was a survivor. This was just another challenge on his path to glory.
Chris Mclean went out of the shower and smiled at the dirty and small mirror (small compared with his expensive body size mirror, which was turned into a pile of trash in the middle of the island.) His reflection looked back at him as handsome as ever. Even 2 weeks locked up by that useless computer couldn't affect his wonderful smile.
But he was in trouble, BIG TROUBLE. After talking with Chef, DAM spent ALL the budget, even acquiring some debt to finance the last challenges. It fired basically ALL the interns and also wasted ALL his make-up using it on that fake robot.
FAKE ROBOT! What was wrong with everyone? How it was possible NO ONE noticed he was a fake. Neither Chef nor the interns, nor the campers, or the fans noticed he wasn't hosting and was a ROBOT. He was hurt.
But there was no time to cry over spilled milk. The host shaved with his emergency razor and put on his signature blue shirt, pants, and sandals. Fixed his hair (using only water, he wanted to cry.) And went out of the bath. He was ready and needed to meet with the kids. And the first two were the most important.
Chris entered the Mess Hall. Inside the place, Chef had already gathered the people he wanted to meet.
"Sierra, Scarlett. I'm so glad you're here," said Chris, opening his arms while Chef locked the door. "How are you? Did you sleep well?"
"Cease the civility McLean. Your behavior suggests that there is something you seek from us," said Scarlett adjusting her glasses.
"Lett is right Chris, if you want something from us just say it and we'll think about it. But answering your question, yes I slept like a baby, hehehe. Even those bunks are better than the small cell's cot," replied Sierra, smiling and winking.
Chris smirked because he thought the same. He then sat at the other side of the table from them. "I love that about you. You don't like to beat around the bushes. So let's get into it. I have a proposal for you. Work for me."
"WHAT!? Ok, I accept," said Sierra, jumping excitedly. "I always wanted to work on the show. This is like a dream come true."
"Ahem," Scarlett cleared her throat and glared at her friend before adjusting her glasses.
Sierra blushed. "I mean, Ok, Chris, let's hear your proposal."
"I didn't expect you to be friends," said the host, surprised at Sierra's change of attitude. He expected this would be easier.
Scarlett shrugged. "This is the expected outcome after keeping 2 individuals restrained in a small enclosure for more than 50 days. Either the people become close confidantes, or they try to eliminate each other. Luckily both of us are more of the rational type and chose the first one."
"Yes…" replied Chris, not sure what Scarlett was saying. "Anyway the proposal is easy. A staff contract for 1 year starting 2 months ago, including vacations and full payment. Because we're short on personnel, we need you to start working now."
"Don't sound too bad. Will you give us intern uniforms?" asked Sierra, not hiding her excitement.
Chris nodded, "Yes, we have your uniforms ready."
"Sounds too good to be true," said Scarlett, smirking impishly. "This is your languorous attempt to quieten us after the master machine abducted us, right?"
"What? Of course not," said Chris, his lip trembling. "But now that you mentioned it, there is a clause in your contract that forbids you from revealing what happened in the show after you started working with us. In fact, we'll deny any of the events that happened with DAM, no replacements, no kidnappings. There wasn't any incident on the island."
"I knew it," said Scarlett rolling her eyes.
Sierra's jaw dropped. "Chris, we were abducted and trapped for more than 50 days. There is no way we won't sue the company."
"WAIT! Of course, we didn't expect you to give you only that," said Chris, who was sweating a lot. "Aside from the contract, Scarlett, we retire the charges against you and will try to get you a pardon."
The redhead was, for the first time, surprised by the host's proposal. "Write it down in my contract, and we have a concurrence."
"What? Lett, are you sure?" asked Sierra, looking at her with wide eyes.
"Affirmative, these conditions give me a chance to start again without the prejudice of having a criminal record. So I will gladly consent to the proposal," explained Scarlett, not expecting this chance.
"And for you Sierra, once the season is over, we'll give you access to all the pre-edited content of the season," said Chris, smirking.
Sierra's eyes sparkled. "Give me access to the content of ALL the seasons, and you have a deal."
"Ok you have a deal. BUT you need our authorization before publishing any of that information in your blogs," said the host, already expecting this reaction.
"Yes, yes, yes, this is a dream come true! Don't worry Chris, I'll not publish anything behind your back," replied Sierra, smiling sheepishly, then added under her breath, "probably."
The host gave them their intern uniforms and smiled. "Perfect, now please call these people to meet me here, and Chef, prepare their next assignment."
"Yes Chris," said Sierra, saluting as Scarlett nodded. Both smiled at each other. It seems things started to seem brighter for the two girls, who then went out of the mess hall.
Chef growled and gave Chris 5 ten dollars bills. "There, I can't believe they accepted."
"I told you I have my way with people," said Chris joyfully counting the bills.
Confessional: Sierra
"I can't believe I'm working for the show. As my first assignment Chef asked me to check if the confessional was still working, so I'm making this message as a test. I'm so happy to be heard, but it's a shame I didn't watch 3/4 of the season in its original release. Now I have to binge-watch it. I wonder if Heather made it to the merge or not," asked Sierra putting a finger on her cheek.
At the wood's entrance, Sammy was trying to do her daily Zombie apocalypse training. So far, the jumping and the running were ok, but anything using her left hand was impossible.
"I can't believe you're doing that after we almost died yesterday. You don't take any days off?" asked a familiar voice.
Sammy looked back, worried. "Duncan? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be resting in the infirmary?"
"Nah, I got bored there and also wanted to walk a little," replied the delinquent. His arm was in a sling, and he had a tired expression.
"You look horrible. Did you have a bad night?" asked Sammy, walking at his side.
He chuckled. "Try to sleep in the same room as Chef. I can't believe he can snore like that without waking himself up."
"I'm sorry you had to spend a night like that," replied Sammy, making a small smile. "I had to share my bed with Amy because there were nine of us, and the other cabin didn't have any sheets or mattresses."
Duncan smirked. "So you sleep together? It should be awful."
"Not so much. It was crampier in our mother's womb," said Sammy, chuckling. "Sorry, it's a twin's joke. But seriously, I'm glad she apologized. I think that maybe in the future, I can forgive her."
"Hehehe, you're really resentful. I may need to cancel your nice twin card," replied the delinquent, putting out his tongue.
Sammy glared at him playfully. "Hey, you don't know how many things she did to me. I know she was hurt, but hurting me more wasn't the answer."
"I don't want to meddle, but realizing you hurt someone and asking for forgiveness isn't that easy. Of course, you don't have to forgive her right now, but let her try to make amends," replied Duncan. He was talking in a more serious tone than usual.
"Wow, that hit really got you. You're talking like a normal person," said Sammy, shocked.
He frowned with his unibrow. "Really funny cheerleader. I don't know why I'm trying to have a serious talk with you."
"Don't get angry. It's your fault for messing with me all the time," she replied and then smiled. "I'm sorry, I'll think about it."
"Ok, don't worry," he replied, winking. "And what will you do? Are you coming back to the game, or is the former evil twin still taking your place?"
The younger twin shrugged. "I'm not sure. I still can't put too much strength on my arm. I'm afraid if I stay, I would mess with the challenge. But I'm not sure if we can swap again."
"Right now, I think you have a chance, especially after all that happened early. You just need to do this…" said Duncan smirking.
Then he explained his idea to Sammy. The twin nodded. It wasn't a bad plan.
"It's an idea, but are you sure Chris will accept?" asked the twin.
"I think he'll only be careful to sell it as an improvement for the show," said Duncan winking.
She nodded and looked at him carefully. "And what will happen with you? Are they taking you off the island?"
"Chef told me that the choice is mine. If I want to stay in the game, they'll put my bone in its place as carefully as possible. But if I insist on getting better treatment, they have to eliminate me from the game."
"So you'll stay, right?" asked the twin, making a big smile.
He smirked. "Oh, the cheerleader likes poor old me. I'm blushing, but also I'm telling the pretty boy."
"What? Or course not! Why do you always have to be like that?" Said Sammy, offended, "you really make it hard to be your friend."
"Sorry, sorry. It's just funny to mess with you," replied Duncan laughing. "I'm not sure what I will do. Should I think about myself or try to keep my promise to a friend?"
The young twin's frown changed into a puzzled expression. "I think that is the wrong question. You should think about the risks to your health. If they're your friends, they'll understand that your arm comes first than any promise."
"But the problem is that maybe I want to be more than friends, and I'm afraid if I don't fulfill my promise, I'll lose my chance," replied the delinquent, looking seriously at the twin.
"Are you sure you're thinking about her feelings? If I was this person, I wouldn't want you to get hurt for a promise. And if they don't care about your injury, maybe you shouldn't date them," explained Sammy, frowning.
Duncan looked at her in disbelief. "You're totally right Sam, I can't believe you give me advice like that. Wow you have really grown."
Sammy blushed. "Thanks. I think it's the first time you called me by my name, but I prefer Sammy or Samantha."
"I may call you that if I feel like," he replied, winking. "But thanks, I owe you one."
Sammy chuckled and nodded, then she walked with him toward the infirmary.
Confessional: Sammy
"I'm worried about Duncan, he's too stubborn, and it's obvious he was in pain. I hope the person he made the promise to is Courtney. I mean, it's obvious they have some lingering feelings for each other, and it would be cute if they somehow can reignite the flame. Sorry, I'm just an incurable romantic like that," said Sammy, blushing.
Back in the Mess hall, Chris and Chef were meeting with another group of contestants. This time they were Izzy, Charlotte, Max, Cody, Dawn, and Amy. Steve and Logan were also there.
"Hello everyone, thanks for coming," said Chris looking at them. "First, I want to thank everyone for your help with yesterday's incident. You were brave and awesome, including you, Logan and Steve. Be sure I'll include this in your next salary revision. And Logan, I'm sure you'll make it into the team."
"Wow, thanks, Mr. McLean," said Logan, giving Steve a high-five.
Max rolled his eyes. "Stop with the nonsense McLean, EVIL is really busy, so I can't waste time here. Did you just call us to say thank you?" the last part said in a mocking tone.
"Hahaha, Max you're as hilarious as ever," said Chris, but he was glaring, not laughing. "As I said, I thank you for your help, but I'm afraid I need your help once again."
"Did DAM have a second form that we need to beat?" asked Charlotte looking at Chris with wide eyes.
The host looked terrified at her. "WHAT? No, I mean I hope not. STEVE! Remember to ask Scarlett if the computer had more than one form, just to be on the safe side."
"Then what is this time? Reptilians? Are they invading the island? Because even if they disguise themselves as humans, we can start Dawning them off and exterminate them," said Izzy, jumping in her place.
Dawn looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Excuse me, but by 'dawning' them off, you don't mean using my aura reading skill to find them, right?"
"Of course I mean that, silly. Do you know any other way of dawning someone?" asked the redhead.
Cody put a hand on the aura reader's shoulder. "Don't take it too seriously. Izzy just loves to joke like that."
"No, there are no reptilians, zombies, aliens, or anything else. The problem is that DAM fired most of the interns, and we don't have time to hire more, so I wanted to ask you 6 to work with us until the end of the show," said Chris, making his signature smile.
"Wait! Are you downgrading our class from contestant to intern? That's a game I don't want to play," replied Charlotte, folding her arms.
Max nodded, frowning angrily. "I don't serve anyone, McLean. I'm your savior. YOU should be my intern, not the other way around."
"Dude, you only opened the lid of the stairs, which I'm almost sure you also locked in the first place." Chris sighed, then looked at them with eyes filled with tears, "But forget about that, I need your help. Don't do it for me. Think about all those little kids watching the show. Without you, there won't be a season finale, we'll have to cancel, and they'll be heartbroken."
"He's a better actor than I thought, if I didn't see his aura, I would think he was really crying," whispered Dawn, awed at the host's performance.
"It's because you only were with him one season," whispered Cody. "After a time, you get used to never believing what he says."
"Forget about it, McLean. Your lizard tears can't move us," said Amy shrugging. Dawn thought about mentioning the idiom was actually crocodile tears but decided to leave it like that.
Izzy stood up and began to jump around the place. "Oh c'mon friends, don't be so negative, it'll be fun! We can be on tv, and it's way funnier than just sitting in Mihtâtamowin resort."
"That's the attitude. Thanks Izzy. You really have the heart in the right place," said Chris, drying his tears.
"Also, just think about the extra money we'll get for working as interns," added the redhead.
"Yes, also think about … WHAT?" Chris looked at her as if he had just seen a ghost. "M-Money?"
"Well, if he'll pay us, then I guess an EVIL master like myself can help a little," said Max rubbing his chin.
Amy made an evil smirk. "Yes, how much we're talking about McLean?"
Chris blanched, "Well, we can talk about it, yes. What about 8 dollars per hour."
They all laughed, except Chris, Chef, Logan and Steve.
"What's so funny? That's what they pay me," said Logan in a low voice.
Steve shrugged. "That was also my first salary, until the Pahkitew season in which I was made staff."
"C'mon Chris, at least offer 20 dollars an hour," said Cody. His smile was so wide that it showed the gap between his teeth.
"20 isn't so much reward for this quest, especially as we'll play the game only the last 8 days," said Charlotte, nodding.
"And think about those poor kids," added Amy, making a mocking smile.
Chef chuckled. "They got you there."
Chris huffed and glared at them. "Ok, ok, I'll pay you $20 per hour, but it'll be paid after the final episode is released. Do you agree?"
"I'm not too sure, but as I'm a really merciful person, I accept," said Max, making a mocking smile.
"Just thinking how many animals I can help with that money makes me happy, I also accept," said Dawn, nodding.
Steve stood up. "Wait, Mr. McLean, they're earning more than me. You pay me 16.50 per hour and still owe me all this season's overtime."
"Steve, not now," said Chris pinching his nose bridge. "You'll have a nice salary increase, but please, right now, help me a little."
"Wait! If Chris is mistreating you, we can always strike. We can't let the bourgeois class oppress the proletarian," said Izzy making a sadistic smile while gazing at Chris.
The host raised both arms. "STOP! I'll give Steve and Logan a bonus, so don't worry and just help me finish the season, ok?"
The interns nodded. At last, the 8 people in that room agreed with the host. He completed the contracts and gave them to the 6 contestants to sign. It was over at last. But there was another point to discuss that Chris ignored.
"Now one last thing," asked Cody, raising a hand. "What will happen with me and my elimination? I wasn't in the chopper of shame. In fact, I wasn't even in the campfire ceremony. "
Chris looked concerned but actually wanted to roll his eyes. "Oh yes, I know, such a tragedy. I wanted to go back, but that episode was already aired, so we can't backtrack your elimination."
"But that's unfair," said Charlotte, glaring. "Can't you just announce that the supercomputer was broken and that the elimination wasn't valid?"
"We can't do that. In fact, you can't mention anything about DAM outside the island," said Chris glaring at everyone.
Everyone gasped. Amy raised an eyebrow. "But that's stupid, the computer almost killed us, and you say we need to cover it up."
"There would be too many issues if people find out about it, so we'll keep it between us. I understand your feelings, I was also kidnapped, but the news could ruin the entire show," said Chris drying the sweat from his forehead, "please don't make things more difficult."
Cody was disappointed, but if the episode had already aired, there was no way Chris would put him on the show again.
"As you wish," said Cody rubbing his neck.
"Then you can go, thanks for everything," said Chris, making a big smile. "Cody and Dawn, please stay for a moment before going."
The aura reader and the brunette guy looked at each other's eyes and sat to listen to what Chris had to say, while Amy ran to tell everything to Sammy. They need to get ready for what's coming next.
Confessional: Max
The supervillain is dressed in the intern's red shirt and laughing at the camera. "Mwahahaha. This EVIL genius has come back, and now the show will pay for all the humiliation I received. Chris didn't know it, but he'll regret messing with me, mwahahahaha." He then looked worried at the camera, "He can't watch this confessional, can he?"
Lilly was sitting on the beach, watching the waves come and go. It was a weird feeling. After being eliminated, she wasn't supposed to stay on the island anymore, but here she was. It was just a matter of time before she had to go.
Did she do the right thing? Or did she just throw away her chance to win the million for a false sense of duty? She wasn't sure.
Then another person came and sat beside her. Lilly felt a shiver down her spine when she realized who she was.
"The lake at Pahkitew island, I'll tell you, Muskoka is much more beautiful, the water was clearer and not as cold as in this place. Also, did you know Muskuoka is the most popular cottage area in the country?" said the woman, making a big smile.
Lilly didn't know what to say. "N-no, I d-didn't know that. M-Miss Sierra."
"Hahaha, drop the miss. We're fellow total drama contestants," said Sierra, making a big grin. "It was a shame I just missed not only your debut but also Jay, Charlotte and Dramaman," her smile turned into a frown,"stupid DAM."
"I-I'm sorry," replied Lilly. She was a little impressed by Sierra's display.
The uberfan was the most total drama savvy of the contestants. She knew everything about everyone and was famous for being good at any kind of challenge: physical, mental, or teamwork. But that wasn't what made Lilly nervous.
It was the fact that Sierra was in love with Cody, and rumors said she was really jealous of him.
So Lilly was panicking. What should she do if Sierra decided to attack her for confessing her feelings to Cody?
"Why do you apologize? It isn't your fault I was kidnapped," said Sierra, taking a handful of sand and letting it go between her fingers.
"I mean I-I'm sorry you have to endure something like that," explained the treehugger, not looking her in the eyes. "But why did DAM kidnap you? I don't understand it."
The purple-haired girl chuckled. "It was because I know too much about Total Drama, the campers and the staff, everything. It seems DAM was afraid if he replaced someone with a robot, I would find out quickly. It was the same reason why DAM kidnapped Dawn."
"Oh!" said Lilly. It made sense, probably Sierra could even call foul if the DAM eliminations were unfair, like in Cody's case.
"And tell me Lilly, did you enjoy your first total drama experience?" asked the uberfan, looking excited at the treehugger.
A small smile appeared on Lilly's face. "Yes, I loved it. Thanks to Amy and the rest, I discovered how to trust myself, be a little more confident, and face other people."
"Amy and the rest? There is no special mention to Cody?" asked Sierra, wiggling her eyebrows.
"O-Of course, I also owe Cody a lot. He really helped me, especially in the last e-episodes," the treehugger blushed, but she also knew that Sierra would probably lash out at her at any moment.
But the uberfan instead lay down on the sand, smiling. "Yes, Cody is just like that, a little angel who enjoys helping others, like me, Heather, Trent, or you."
"That's true. He's kind, smart, and cute. He's wonderful," said Lilly blushing, she then realized what she said and blanched.
"Do you like him?" asked Sierra, looking intently at the redhead.
Lilly didn't know what to say but decided to be honest with her. "Yes, I like him. I even confessed it to him some days ago…"
The treehugger braced herself for the worst, but Sierra didn't lash out or shout. She just chuckled. "I know. Izzy told me you confessed on international tv. That was so daring."
"WHAT? You already knew?" asked Lilly in disbelief. She was so afraid about how Sierra would react, but she already knew. "Then why did you ask me if I liked him?"
"Because there are some things you need to ask face to face," said Sierra, winking. "I hope he answers you soon."
Lilly was totally perplexed. "Aren't you angry?"
"Why should I be angry?" asked Sierra, blinking a couple of times. "Please don't misunderstand us. Cody and I aren't dating. We're only good friends."
"Because even if you're not dating, you like him! or you don't like him anymore?" asked Lilly, not sure why but she needed to know the answer.
Sierra made a big grin and looked at the sea. "I still love him. But I need to give him his space and respect his feelings. Maybe in the future, I'll move on, or he'll fall in love with me. But at this moment, he doesn't like me in that way."
"So … you aren't angry?" asked the treehugger timidly.
"Should I be angry?" replied the uberfan, glaring at her.
Lilly's answer was a low and unintelligible whimper.
Sierra laughed. "Sorry, I don't understand what you say, but don't worry, I'm not angry. If anything, we both fell in love with the same guy, so we share that, so I would like to be your friend."
"Sure, I mean SURE. We can be friends if it's what you want," said the redhead. This was so surrealistic, but she understood exactly what Sierra meant.
"Ok, now that we're friends, I need your help in another, tiny, little thing," said Sierra, joining her hands and lowering her head at Lilly.
The treehugger nodded, making a big smile. "Sure, I mean if I can, I would be glad to help you."
"Great, thanks, Lil," said the uberfan, taking out a notepad and a pencil. "So please tell me everything you can about yourself from your last birthday to before the show, only a general framework to start your first blog."
"What?"
"Your first blog! Oh, c'mon Lilly, you're a total drama contestant. The fans deserve to know you better. They have the right to know the person behind the star. So let's start with the basics. Tell me your full name, hometown, and birth date."
Lilly was a little shocked but then answered as many questions as she could before Chris called her. This wasn't what she expected when Sierra sat at her side.
Confessional: Lilly
"I have to say Sierra is completely different from what I expected. She's positive, and her enthusiasm is contagious. She's so happy when you answer her questions that you just keep answering her. I hope we can become friends," said Lilly, making a small smile and bowing at the camera.
It was noon. Chris and Chef were in the mess hall with the former top 6 of the competition. Lilly, Mike, Courtney, Brick, Sammy, and Duncan. Sammy seemed to be nervous while Duncan had a professional sling, not the improvised one that Brick made him.
"Hello campers, thanks for coming. There are some issues about the rest of the season, and I need everyone to be on the same page," said Chris looking at the six with an unusually serious expression.
"But, I was eliminated last night. It's ok for me to be here?" asked Lilly looking seriously at the host.
Chris nodded, "yes, I know it's weird, but yes. First of all, I want to thank you for saving me. You were unaware of the situation and even then risked your life to turn off DAM and save me. I'll not forget this and all of you will get a bonus cash prize after the season has ended."
There were a lot of whispers among the campers.
"Are you sure you aren't a robot? The real McLean would never be so generous," said Duncan, raising his healthy arm.
"Hahaha, so funny Duncan. But my life is priceless, so I need to show my gratitude," said Chris, shrugging as if it was evident. "But it'll be after the final has premiered. We need some time to make numbers."
Brick nodded and saluted. "We don't need any reward, sir. Helping is en- mphhuhuh."
The former CIT quickly covered the cadet's mouth. "As Brick said, we're grateful and will be waiting for it. I hope you really mean it and it's not just words."
"Courtney, it hurts me a lot you say that. Do you believe I would dare to lie with something as important as this?" Asked the host, putting a hand over his chest.
"Of course we believe it. That's why Courtney is asking," said Sammy glaring at him. "After all the times you lied to us, it's normal we have some doubts."
Chris looked at her with wide eyes. "Lied? You say I LIED to you? Tell me ONE time I have lied to any of you."
"Just at the beginning, you sent us fake information about camp Wawanakwa, showing it was a resort and not a dilapidated camp," said Courtney, sighing sadly.
"You lied about how dangerous the toxic waste in the mines was and that we were planting explosives," said Brick, in a neutral tone.
"And when you hid Mal's presence on the island?" added Mike frowning.
Duncan raised a hand, "And all those times you said people were eliminated from the game forever, and they return 10 or 12 episodes later."
"Are you seriously mentioning that one?" asked Courtney, glaring at the delinquent.
"Hey, just because I exploited that one doesn't mean he didn't lie," replied Duncan putting out his tongue.
"You're so cheeky," said the former CIT, making a playful smile.
"AND don't forget about all those payments you still owe me," added Chef while glaring at him
Chris raised his arms and shouted. "OK, OK JUST STOP. I got it. Maybe sometimes I twisted the truth a little. But this time, I'm serious so trust me." He then looked back. "And Chef, which side are you on?"
"That's easy, on MY side," said Chef, shrugging.
"I don't know why I even asked," Chris rolled his eyes. "Anyway, after expressing my gratitude, there are other issues I need your help with. The first is that you can't talk about the DAM incident. It didn't happen."
"What? Why? We almost died down there?" asked Courtney, glaring at Chris.
Mike nodded. "That without talking about the robots that attacked us or those who were kidnapped."
"Please, I need your help in this one. DAM was supposed to be the main feature of this season. We can't tell the audience it went out of control and manipulated a fourth of the eliminations. Much less in a season in which the public is supposed to be in control," said Chris, joining his hands as he talked to them. "I know it's hard for you, but if this comes to light, we'll be unable to end the season, much less to pay the million prize."
There was a small silence in the room. It wasn't fair, but they were already in the top 5, and Lilly didn't want to ruin her friends' chance.
"You said you need our help with some issues. What are the rest?" asked Sammy, raising a hand.
"That's a good idea. Let's hear the rest before taking a decision about keeping the incident a secret or not," said Courtney, glaring at the host.
Chris shook his head. "As you wish, but if you reveal what happened, we'll have to cancel the season. The second issue is that we need your help to record Lilly's elimination ceremony."
"Are you asking to record a fake challenge?" asked Mike, tilting his head.
"Hahaha, I want to see how you will explain my sling in that challenge," said Duncan, showing a mocking smile.
"NO! We already have a prerecorded challenge that DAM sent to the editing server and which our interns recovered," said Chris, smiling confidently. "We can cut it enough to finish the episode, but we need the elimination ceremony, and we want to record it tonight. Also, to make it more realistic, we'll send the eliminated contestant out of the island for real, so Lilly gets your luggage ready."
"I have no problem," said Lilly, smiling. "I'll do my best in my elimination."
Courtney shrugged. "Ok it can be done. Do you need anything else?"
"No, that is enough, tomorrow we'll have the next challenge to decide the top 4. And two days after the top 3 challenge. This is your last week on the island, so enjoy it," said Chris, making a big smile. "And Lilly remembers to not say anything about DAM, and if someone asks about the other campers, just say they're helping with the finale."
"Helping with the finale, got it," said Lilly, saluting.
The host then looked at the contestants. "So what do you say, can you keep DAM's incident a secret? Please?"
"Whatever, I'll go with what the others decide," said Duncan, shrugging with one shoulder.
"I don't have any problem if that will let the winner get the million," said Lilly in a low tone.
Sammy thought about it before answering. "I also agree. It would be a shame all our hard work ended without a prize."
"I'll also keep the secret, I mean it would be unfair for the winner to lose the prize like that," added Mike, folding his arms.
"I don't like it, but I also accept it. But if you don't keep your part of the deal, we'll tell everyone," said Courtney folding her arms.
"If everyone agrees I don't have any problem," replied Brick, saluting.
Chris rubbed his hands, "Excellent, then let's get ready. In 35 minutes, we will record Lilly's elimination. Thanks ever"-
"WAIT McLean, there is another issue I want to talk about," said Duncan, smirking as usual.
Everyone turned to look at the delinquent, as Chris frowned. "Duncan, we are short on time, so we don't have time for jokes."
"I quit," he said, smirking.
Courtney pressed her lips together as the rest gasped. Chris looked at him with wide eyes. Chef smirked, already suspecting this outcome.
"What!? You can't do that, much less right now! You're a fan favorite. And you just need to beat 4 more people to get your second million. What's wrong with you?" shouted Chris. Just when things seemed to improve, this happened.
"Are you crazy? There is no way I can beat any of the remaining players with my arm like this, and I prefer to get a real treatment and lessen the chances of problems in the future," explained the delinquent, looking at Chris with a mocking expression.
Sammy rubbed his back. "Are you ok? Is it so bad you have to leave?"
"Yes Sam, it's a shame because I wanted to kick your ass, but health is more important," replied the delinquent.
"Why can't you be nicer for once?" asked Sammy, making a small smirk. At least he was still joking.
Chris raised his arms. "Please don't rush things. Maybe Chef can help to put your arm in its place so you can compete. Right Chef?"
"Sorry Chris. I can put the bone in its place, but there is a risk of damaging the tissue or the tendon. If he wanted to keep competing, we could try but as the kid said, it is better if he's treated by a specialist," said Chef folding his arms. "I'm a cook, not a medic."
"We can't do that! The public wants more challenges and a real top 5. We can't just med-evacuate a favorite," said Chris, patting nervously.
"Can't we just eliminate Duncan instead of Lilly and let Lilly be in the top 5?" asked Brick raising a hand. "That way, you will have your top 5, and Duncan can leave the island."
Chris shook his head. "No, we already announced she was the last DAM elimination. In fact, the episode needs the last scene, and we're done. If we go back, it'll seem like we're protecting Lilly."
"Oh, as if it was the first unfair elimination you have on the show," said Courtney rolling her eyes.
"Ok, we'll med-evacuate him on tonight's elimination and deal with the backlash later. See you at the campfire ceremony at 8:00," said Chris, rubbing his temple and walking out of the Mess Hall.
"Don't be late, kids, it will be a long night," said Chef, while following Chris.
Then the campers went out of the Mess Hall, leaving the 2 remaining veterans there, alone. But their conversation wasn't recorded.
Confessional: Chris
"Everyone is so selfish. I just want to save this damn season but no, everyone is thinking about themselves, about their injuries, or what's not," said Chris in a mocking tone. "I was also kidnapped, and I also fought my way out of the facility, almost dying, and you don't see me whining about it. I know this confessional will never be aired, but these kids don't appreciate everything I do for them."
Confessional: Duncan
The delinquent was smoking a cigar looking at the camera with a big smile. "And I still had 3 more cigars for the last 8 days, such a shame." He then blushed a lot, touching his lips. "And what just happened in the mess hall? That means we have a chance again? It was a goodbye? Fuck I should have asked, but I was afraid of the answer. Duncan, you're such a coward when it really matters."
Confessional: Courtney
"I hope they didn't record that. Ehem, anyway Duncan, what happened in the Mess hall was an acc-" she then choked at the words. She blushed, "Ok, it's not what you think. It's just a wait for me ok? I'll make up my mind and tell you something when we see each other again. So forget about it and focus on healing that arm."
The campers were at the campsite, and Chris was holding a plate with five marshmallows. At the side, Charlotte was dressed in the intern's uniform (red shirt and cream pants) and filming the ceremony. They had already cast the votes, and Chris was talking.
"As always, you shocked me with the elimination, but sadly your votes don't count because tonight we have the LAST DAM elimination of the show. The public has spoken, and they're the true masters of the season. So the contestant eliminated tonight is…"

Lilly.
"Nooo!" shouted Sammy, trying to sound sad.
Lilly covered her face with both hands and then smiled. "It's fine, I reached the top 6, so I'm more than satisfied, thanks, Sammy."
The treehugger walked to the dock of shame, in which Steve was waiting with the vest of failure. She put it on while Mike and Sammy went with her.
"I'm sorry for messing with you, Lilly. I hope when we meet again, we can be friends," said Mike hugging her.
"Don't worry Mike, I understand. Good luck reaching the finale," said Lilly, hugging him.
Then it was Sammy's turn. "Please greet my sister. I'll make sure to win the game for both of you," she said, hugging the tree hugger.
"We'll be cheering for you," replied Lilly, trying to not cry. After all, it was all done.
Then Max, who was behind the camera, began to make sounds like a helicopter while Chef, using the jetpack, flew and hooked Lilly, sinking her in the lake.
Then Chris shouted. "Cut, Charlotte, remember to not cut when I said cut. Wait for two seconds to have enough time to edit the scene. Everyone, good job. Let's record Duncan's elimination, and then they can leave the island."
"Can't they stay like the others," asked Brick, with a sad frown.
"Sorry soldier, can't do that. The staff is waiting for them at the resort. It's suspicious enough we're keeping 5 contestants and Izzy, so we can't keep the new eliminations," explained Chris. He then looked at the right side, "Logan, where is the stretcher with the ring? We need it at the dock NOW."
On the dock, Amy, also dressed as an intern, was waiting for Lilly with a towel.
"Nice performance. It seemed almost real," she said, drying the treehugger hair. "But you could shout louder, you know?"
"Thanks, I tried, but I'm not really good at shouting," explained Lilly, smiling as she spent time with the older twin.
Then someone came closer to them. He was rubbing his neck and blushing. it was Cody (also dressed as an intern.)
"Can I interrupt you for a moment?" asked the brunette guy.
Amy nodded and winked at her friend before running away (but hid behind a bush to hear everything). Meanwhile Lilly blushed and looked at the ground.
"H-Hello Cody, you seem so handsome in the intern's uniform," said Lilly, blushing.
"Really? Thanks," replied Cody blushing. He then took a deep breath, "I wanted to talk about what you said to me during the wedding challenge. I didn't give you a straight answer, and it's not fair."
Lilly panicked. She didn't expect this. "Oh no, I'm sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable. I just babble what I feel without thinking about your feelings."
"To be honest, I don't feel annoyed, but also I never saw you like that, so I can't reciprocate your feelings," said Cody. This immediately sunk the heart of the treehugger. He then gave her a piece of paper. "So take this, it's my phone number, please call me after the season is over so we can know each other better."
She covered her mouth in excitement. "That means I still have a chance?"
"It means I want to know you better," he replied, blushing. Suddenly she jumped and hugged him.
"Of course, let's go slowly and get to know each other better," she said, smiling while crying. "Thanks Cody."
Cody smiled back at her and also hugged her. Amy looked at her friend proudly from the bushes.
Chris was in the dock of shame, and Charlotte was filming again. There Duncan was strapped at the stretcher while Courtney, Mike, Sammy, and Brick were standing at his side.
"And on a sad note, our favorite delinquent was hurt during the challenge. It seems he isn't as tough as we thought, hehehe," said Chris, making a mocking smile.
"Why is everyone looking so gloomy? Thanks to this, you're already in the top 4, so look happier," said Duncan, smirking.
Courtney sighed. "As usual, you can't think of other people's feelings, typical Duncan."
"It was an honor to compete with you and to be your friend, have a nice recovery," said Brick, saluting and trying to not cry.
"It's not fair. What happened with you and me competing in the final?" said Mike, making a sad smile.
Duncan chuckled. "I didn't know you wanted to lose the final challenge. Nicely played Mike, nicely played."
Mike laughed, and then it was the turn of Sammy, who smiled at him. "Thanks for teaching me so much Duncan, you're the weirdest and nicest guy I ever met."
"You need to add the nice part? And you forgot to add the most handsome," said Duncan in a deadpan tone.
Then Max began to make helicopter noises, and Chef passed in the jetpack but failed to hook Duncan's stretcher.
"CUT!" shouted Chris, glaring at the big man. "What the hell Chef, how could you fail? It's already past 9:00 pm, and you have to go to weird name island. So stop messing around."
Chef mumbled under his breath how little they pay him for this. And in the next take hooked the stretcher, accidentally putting it under the water.
"CUT! Perfect!" shouted Chris, as Chef returned Duncan to the dock. "Now untie him, and get ready to leave the island. Chef gets the canoe of doom."
On the docks, Lilly and Duncan were waiting for Chef, who arrived in a canoe. He glared as Lilly and Duncan went aboard.
"Good luck everyone, I wish you the best," said Lilly while boarding the canoe.
Duncan just smirked and waved. Everything he needed to say was already said.
"I hope you're ready to row, because it's a long way to Mihtâtamowin Yikâwiskâhk's resort," said Chef in an upset tone.
"Sorry, I'm really bad at rowing," said Lilly, looking ashamed at the floor.
Duncan chuckled. "And I can't row with my arm like this, so sorry Chef." He somehow didn't sound sorry.
The big man scowled at them, making Lilly shiver, but Duncan was already used to it. He then began to row, mumbling all the way.
Everyone went their own way while Chris recorded the end of the episode. Both twins were watching him.
"And just like that, we're already at the Top 4 of the competition," said Chris in an excited voice. "But there are still 2 challenges before the end. Who will be the lucky finalist? Our eternal loser Courtney? The lame twin Samey? The clumsy cadet Brick? Or the boring Mike? Find out on the next exciting episode of Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses."
Author Notes:
And now we're down to four, so there are just 3 more challenges to finish the season. What will happen in the next challenge? Can Chris get enough money to make keep the season running? And which one of the 4 remaining campers will be eliminated? Find the answers in the next episode of Total Drama Tyranny of the masses
Also I wanted to thanks and made a shout-out to user AwesomeCream810 from r/totaldrama, who made a lovely fanart of Lilly. I'm sorry she was eliminated, but the picture was awesome, many thanks for drawing it.
And this was a hard one. Originally I thought to just put Duncan's arm in its place, like a good cartoon. But I think it works better this way. It was hard to eliminate him as I enjoy writing him a lot, but it was the best moment to let him go.
