Chapter 5: Journey to Konohagakure no Sato

Tsuna took a deep breath.

Its been a few days since he met Byakuran...despite that short time with the albino,he still felt the noticeable changes and improvement in his body.

Before,he always felt tired with everything to the point that he wanted to give up(even though he kept a happy, calm outward appearance)and rarely genuinely felt happy.

Now...now,he was mostly filled with tranquility and was calmer than ever, while his state of mind was clearer to those months prior to his arrival in this world.

He knew, that it was Byakuran's presence that had eased whatever illness it was that he felt in his soul.

As of now,he was on duty overlooking the incoming line of merchants entering the Suna gates as he had nothing to do,so he accepted the mission.

Though he might look like he was nothing but a 'stoic/emotionlessly calm ANBU',he was actually buzzing with excitement.

Why?

Well...that's obviously because today was the day that the genins of Suna were leaving for the Chuunin Exams:because of that,he couldn't help but be hyped himself.

While he was a bit occupied by his thoughts,a fellow Suna ANBU popped out of nowhere, just landing beside him.

Not at all startled,(since his HI had warned of him in advance that someone was coming)the brunet turned to his fellow ANBU.

"Sika.(Deer.)" He bobbed his head slightly in acknowledgment.

"Raion.(Lion.)" The other stoically greeted back, returning the nod.

Clearing his throat with a small cough,he continued.

"Kazekage-sama has tasked you with a mission to accompany Baki's team to Konoha.Report to him before you leave."

"Understood."

Tsuna nodded once at him, before he shunshinned away to the Kazekage's office.

"Kazekage-sama." He intoned, kneeling before the leader of Suna.

"...Raion.I have a mission for you." The Kazekage merely stated.

He handed over a scroll to the other, and Tsuna took it without hesitation.

"You will be delivering an important message to both the Hokage and a couple of clan heads in Konoha." The leader debriefed.

Surprisingly, the Kazekage gestured for him to open the important document.

Feeling slightly confused,he opened the scroll and rolled it open:he felt even more confused(but somehow, suspicious)when he saw the beginning of the document.

"Kazekage-sama...I don't...I'm afraid I don't understand..." The brunet voiced out his thoughts as he stammered for a moment, looking up from the scroll.

The Kazekage hummed quietly, before snapping his fingers.

A couple of his personal ANBU appeared, and it was plain that Tsuna was more confused than ever:however,he still remained in his kneeling position.

"Leave." The Kazekage told the group.

Without so much of a word or two,the group disappeared in a flash.

And then...he waved his hand around:fΕ«injutsu seals activated and glowed around the entire room, making the Vongola Decimo tense up and be more alert.

Then,shockingly...the Kazekage's hand(that he used to wave around earlier)turned an earthy, flame like energy--wait...that's Earth Flames!

The opposite of Sky Flames!

The brunet's eyes narrowed at this, but he said nothing:though he was still alert and tense as he calculated any possibly actions the other would execute.

After all, even though most shinobi use chakra, its not like there weren't those who used Sky or Earth flames.

But rarely is there a Flame user who uses them openly as it was supposed to be a well kept secret due to the Vindice's existence.

"Tell me...what was the first word that caught your eye?" The Kazekage asked, smiling mysteriously.

"..." Tsuna still narrowed his eyes slightly at the auburn haired man.

The first thing that he saw...was a couple of weird dots and he was confused for a moment:he thought it was only decorations on the paper.

But then,he realized in that same second that no--that could not be random dots...they were Morse codes.

Morse code weren't known in this world...unless the ones who knew this came from his old world:after all, people of this world mostly used hand signals more than anything.

"...Cozart." He tersely replied.

The Kazekage smiled at that, before he seemed to chuckle to himself:Tsuna was tense as he wondered how the man seemed to know that he had knowledge of the mentioned name.

Then his eyes widened as he saw the other's onyx orbs meld down to red with a familiar compass like sign in their eyes:this change was followed by his hair, which had darkened to red.

"You..." Tsuna gasped softly.

The man grinned, spreading his arms wide open in greeting.

"Yep~!Hey,there,Tsunayoshi-kun!Long time no see, huh? Thanks for always taking care of Enma-kun back in our old world--and for also looking after Gaara from time to time!"

Tsuna stared for a moment, before he shook his shock off and grinned back.

"Hello,Cozart-sama!"

Although he was still a bit confused,Tsuna will later know why Rasa/Cozart had treated Gaara differently than others and why he was in this world.

Tsuna whistled happily, almost skipping along the sandy dunes.

Byakuran was also with them(Tsuna didn't know how he managed to get Rasa/Cozart's permission...he could only guess that the other didn't know, and oh boy...he hoped that Byakuran will be behaved for the duration of their stay there in Konoha!)and was cheerfully and happily trying to chat with Tsuna.

...Who only nodded and hummed in reply as he was too busy calculating what would Byakuran's future moves would be,a.k.a.,how to prevent a trouble magnet from creating any disasters!

(A/N:Like you're one to talk,Tsuna!)

Temari eyed the 'obviously-shrewd-albino' weirdly, not at all sure if she should trust the stranger or not.

Must be her natural instincts as a kunoichi and the Sky attraction battling for dominance within her if she can't decide if she would fully trust Byakuran or be wary of him.

It happens from time to time:Temari would have been like that to Tsuna(this world's Tsunayoshi who died and was taken over by Tsuna) as well had they not often crossed paths back in their past during or after mission reports.

Kankuro was fine with the said man, though he was still a teeny bit wary.

Gaara,on the other hand, eyed the albino with hidden curiousity and seemed to have no qualms in trusting him...which is odd, since he was supposed to be the wariest of the siblings and the most aloof.

'Did he know something that we didn't?', was along the lines of Tsuna's thinking.

He can also feel the redhead jinjuuriki's gaze at him most of the time, and he can't help but wonder what he did to have earned the other's interest.

As for the team's sensei--Baki--however,was relaxed with the marshmallow lover within their presence...it seems that he knew who he was.

Sometimes Tsun worried about his hyperactive, mischievious fellow Sky...why,you ask?

Well,he IS a bit of a trouble magnet(Ah,he feels like a hypocrite whenever he says that!)--and he tends to sometimes rub people in the wrong way without even meaning to.

...As of now,Byakuran was currently telling them stories about two 'friends' of his'(Tsuna) that lived in Konoha by telling the small team what they were doing before the so called "Uchiha Massacre".

"--And then Kyo-chan and Muku-chan blew up half of the Uchiha compound!!!Wait,no,actually...saying that it was only half of it is an understatement.Perhaps, let's say...about 90% of the compound was damaged~?We all know or have at least once heard of the rumors of the size of the Uchihas' land properties~!It's amazing,really...everything had went up in flames back then and I even remember Ita-chan and Sasu-chan mistaking the fire for fireworks displays~!Poor Chrome-chan was so stressed and horrified then:she had to release her scary side to make them stop~!" Byakuran laughed as he told the brunet.

Tsuna paled at that, looking mortified at the bad memories that the news of his guardians' actions must be causing him.

Then the albino leaned forward and added, winking as his smile widened.

"Ah,but of course~I didn't join in the fun and just watched as a bystander~!"

Tsuna felt his right eye twitch.

'That's even worse!'

Baki and the three genins, however, had no qualms of staring at him in shock as they were a bit sceptical that such destruction can be made in a mere minute.

"Oh,but Kyo-chan,Chrome-chan, and Muku-chan did managed to level an entire nation somewhere~!Or so I heard anyway:its quite fortunate that no one was permanently hurt or killed during and after their clash~."

This time, not only was Tsuna gaping at him,but so were the other three.

"Wait, what?!And you didn't even stop them?!"

"Mou~I was busy!"

Tsuna shook his head, inwardly shocked. He couldn't believe how he even got to be able to control his two most destructive guardians.

Then again,Reborn's 'tutoring' session and training always did wonders for him.

Kami knows how he was even able to hold on to his sanity;his two most powerful guardians were really chaotic and maddening from their being destructive.

Not that the others weren't:they were less(thankfully enough) destructive than Mukuro and Kyoya--or both--combined.

...Although their destructive-ness(Is there even such a word?)maybe be less, but that doesn't make them 'less' destructive enough not to give them headaches or to cause him more paperworks.

Curse those paperworks from hell!

Tsuna snapped back to reality and turned his attention towatfs Byakuran once more for confirmation.

Alas,Byakuran nodded(which made him regret being in charge of his guardians sometimes),a mock expression of disappointment on his face.

"Mmhm! And the Uchihas were like--'No,Kami please spare us the horrors!'--or--'What have we done wrong?!'--and even--'Someone please save us!' HAHAHAHA~!You could only imagine how horrified everyone in Konoha was!" The albino had the gall to guffaw.

This time,Temari,Kankuro, and Baki couldn't quite hide the shock as to how can someone destroy half the compound in just ONE.FREAKING.MINUTE!

On the other hand,Gaara said nothing, but his face was in the most deadpan expression that the brunet had ever seen on his face.

Tsuna tried breathing in deep to calm himself and to stop himself from strangling his friend or shaking him by his shoulders:he really tried, but he ended up shaking the other violently as he gripped the other's shoulders.

"Byakuran! What will happen to the people there?!--"

"They're dead,Tsu-chan~!" Byakuran chirped as he pointed out.

"I'm not talking about that!I meant the people in Konoha! The more worrying thing is...are the people there all still alive?!" He almost screamed at the albino's face, shaking him back and forth.

The albino continued to do the closed-eyed smile despite being shaken violently.

"Ahahaha~its not that bad!My Nuvola and Nebbia are there to watch over them!" He reassured his fellow Sky.

"If you're trying to make me feel better, then you are absolutely failing in that department...that's the worst thing to do!" He started out calmly at first, before he shouted in worry.

"Maa,maa~ochitsuke~(Now,now~calm down~)Tsu-chan!I mean...what could possibly go wrong~?" Byakuran asked with a grin,shrugging.

Tsuna widened his eyes in horror at the remembrance of what had happened in his memory when the other's Mist and Cloud guardians was in the same room as his own guardians.

"...A lot." Tsuna deadpanned as he came back to reality.

"Well, what was I supposed to do?Leave them unsupervised? It would be worst if I didn't leave the two to guard yours." Byakuran reasoned out.

Tsuna pinched the bridge of his nose:he can practically feel the looks of pity from the Suna genin team that he was guarding, and he feels so awkward at that.
