[D.W. is in the living room watching a movie called "The Breakup.]

D.W.: "I love this movie!"

[On the TV screen we see a man saying a swear word at a woman]

D.W.: [laughs] "This part is so funny!"

[David walks in the room]

David: "What's so funny? And what are you watching? I can hear it all the way in the kitchen."

D.W.: "Uh, nothing just some movie."

[Suddenly David hears a swear word coming from the movie]

David: "D.W., you shouldn't be watching that, it has swear words in it."

D.W.: "I don't care let me..."

[David turns off the movie]

D.W.: "Hey! How dare you turn it off you [beep]!"

David: "Dora Winifred Read! Where did you learn that word? Tell the truth right now!"

D.W.: "Okay it was from the movie I was watching."

David: "Okay I'll give you a warning this time, but remember don't blow it or you will be grounded for a month. Understand?"

D.W.: "Yeah I understand." [walks off]

[In D.W.'s room]

D.W.: "I'm going to tell everyone about the new word I learned."

[D.W. then goes around Elwood City telling everyone about the word she learned]

D.W.: "Hey Emily, guess what word I learned?"

Emily: "What's that?"

D.W.: "[beep]"

Emily: "D.W.! Don't say that!"

D.W.: "Don't be such a drama [beep]!"

Emily: "That's it D.W.! We're no longer friends!"

D.W.: "Okay fine! Bye!"

[After she told everyone she knew]

D.W.: [laughs] "I bet when Arthur goes to school the next day, his friends are going to be so mad at him."

[The next day, Arthur was walking to school and once he got to school, he suddenly saw Buster, Francine, Muffy, The Brain, Binky, Sue Ellen, Fern, George, Prunella and Ladonna glaring at him]

Arthur: "Uh hi guys, why do you all look so angry?"

Muffy: "We're mad at you because your sister swore at us!"

Francine: "You better fix this or we'll no longer be your friends anymore!"

Arthur: "What that doesn't make any sense, shouldn't you guys be mad at D.W. instead of me?"

Sue Ellen: "Normally yes, but we don't want to hang out with someone related to D.W.!"

The Brain: "Also, we're giving you the silent treatment, starting now!"

[His friends walk inside the school]

Arthur: [thinking to himself] "Great now I'm going to lose my friends, if D.W. keeps this up. Buster, you're not mad at me right?"

Buster: "Sorry Arthur, but I don't feel like talking right now."

[A while later when Arthur came home angry]

Arthur: "I can't believe it! Not only D.W. swore at the whole city, my friends are all mad at me for no reason at all! Mom, dad I have a problem to tell you."

Jane: "Sure, Arthur! You can tell us anything."

Arthur: "Well recently, D.W. learned a swear word from a movie called "The Breakup."

David: She sure has, carry on son."

Arthur: "And then something bad happened at school today, my friends all accused me for something D.W. said to them. And I'm afraid they'll never want to be friends with me anymore."

Jane: "Oh my that sounds terrible."

David: "It sure does, Arthur try to find your friends while we deal with D.W."

Arthur: "Okay I'm on it right now. I'm sure they might be at the park." [goes out the door]

[When Arthur got to the park, he was right his friends we're there and suddenly the glared at him yet again]

Arthur: "Okay before you all say anything, I'll explain everything. D.W. watched a movie called "The Breakup which as swear words in it."

Buster: "Oh so that's where she learned the swear she said to us yesterday."

Arthur: "I'm afraid so."

Fern: "We're sorry Arthur, guess we got a little to carried away and thought you were the one who taught her the word."

Arthur: "It's okay I forgive you all. Friends?"

All of Arthur's Friends: [smile in agreement] "Friends!"

Francine: "I bet D.W. will be grounded for sure."

Sue Ellen: "Yes indeed, she's a brat after all."

George: "Agreed!"

Arthur: "She sure is, anyways who wants to get some ice cream at the Sugar Bowl?"

Arthur's Friends: "Me!"

Arthur: "Alrighty! Let's go!"

[They all go to the Sugar Bowl]

[Back at home D.W. is getting punished as always]

Jane: "Dora Winifred Read! I can't believe you right now! Where did you hear that word?"

D.W.: "Oh from a movie called "The Breakup."

Jane: "You shouldn't watch that movie because it has swear words in it!

D.W. "Yeah so? I love that movie."

David: "But swear words are inappropriate to say."

D.W.: "They are not inappropriate to say. They're funny to say. [beep], [beep]!"

Jane: "We are not allowed to say swear words in this house! For that you will get a bar of soap in your mouth!"

D.W.: "Ha! Sure! If that would happen."

[Jane then takes D.W. to the bathroom]

Jane: [closes the toilet lid] "Sit down on the toilet! This is a part of your punishment."

D.W.: "Okay fine!" [sits on the toilet]

[Jane takes a bar of soap out of the bathtub]

D.W.: [laughs] "What are you going to do, put it in my mouth?"

[Jane then puts the soap in D.W.'s mouth]

Jane: "Now that the soap is in your mouth, I hope you learn your lesson not to swear." [takes the soap back out of her mouth]

D.W.: "Blech! I have. The soap tastes gross anyway."

Jane: "Good!"

David: "Also like I said before if you blew your warning, you will be...

D.W.: "Yeah yeah I know grounded for a month."

David: "Exactly! Get moving to your room!"

D.W.: "Okay okay!"

[D.W. then goes to her room once again]
