To change or not to change part 1

Last time on Total Drama Tyranny of the Masses, our campers had to find tokens hidden all around the island. There were 20 in total, and finding 10 would give the lucky finder a direct ticket to the finale.

Exploring forests, climbing mountains, fighting (and surprising, sometimes negotiating) with beasts, plunging into the lake, escaping from wild animals, giving fashion tips, and more was necessary to find the tokens. Sadly this wasn't enough, and none of these useless youths could gather 10 tokens.

So instead, we counted the tokens each of them found, and the contestants who found more of them went into the final. The first finalist was Courtney, our eternal loser. But, in another attempt to sabotage the challenge, Brick and Sammy tied, finding the same number of tokens. Really? were they even trying?

And as the tiebreaker, the audience voted for their favorite, and we'll find out who is the second finalist during today's show, so stay tuned.

After 6 weeks, 24 challenges, 23 eliminations, and 624 minutes of exciting footage (not taking into account the unused footage), Tyranny of the Masses is coming to an end. We have 3 finalists right now, and by sunset, only one will remain, taking home the fantastic prize of one million dollars.

Who will be the second finalist? The noble cadet Brick from the second generation or the nice twin Samey from the third generation? And can the winner beat the favorite CIT of the franchise, Courtney? Find out right now on the exciting grand finale of Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses.

It was the morning of the last day of the show. The three remaining campers were already out of bed and started their routines.

Sammy went to the wood's entrance to train as every day. She remembered all the things her friends taught her. The more important thing to improve was perseverance, and she needed a goal, and in her case, was to become the better Sammy she could be.

She was trying to forget about the tiebreaker. Even if she was out of the competition or in the finale, she needed to train all the same, because there was nothing more she could do. She wished for the best and was prepared for the worst.

Brick, as expected, went jogging. It wasn't only a way to stay healthy but for him it was also a way to clean his mind and order his thoughts. At first in the ferrets, then with Alejandro in the foxes, and after his friend was eliminated he did it alone again.

The foxes and the ferrets disappeared long ago, and the island wasn't the same as back then after DAM's incident. But he needed to focus on the goal before him, to beat Courtney in the finale. Yes, maybe he was already out of the game, but he needed to be ready if he isn't. Brick McArthur never gave up until the end.

Courtney was sitting at the picnic table behind the cabins. This was the place Heather's alliance gathered during the season. It was a weird feeling. She was happy but at the same time nervous. Was this the same for Gwen, Duncan, Heather, or Zoey? It was funny how even though she was obsessed with winning, she never talked about how they felt before the finale.

It was a weird feeling. Courtney's old self would never think about others, and maybe that was the reason why her old self never went beyond the final 4. Now she needed to be ready to beat either Brick or Sammy in the finale. Because now that she has come this far, she won't waste this chance. This time she was going to win.

After breakfast, the 3 campers meet Chris at the center of the campsite.

"Congratulations, campers, you did a great job and are now at the top of the competition. You're the best of the best, and tonight one of you will also be one million dollars richer," said Chris making a big grin.

"So, will you tell us who won the tiebreaker?" asked Courtney, folding her arms and glaring at the host.

Chris chuckled. "Take it easy, Courtney. You seem more nervous about who is in the finale than them. No, we want to record some confessionals before announcing who is in the finale. So right now, you three will go into the confessional and answer some questions we have prepared for you."

"It wouldn't be better if you announce who is the finalist, so only one of us need to record the confessional?" asked Sammy, raising a hand.

"Sorry Samey, but this way is more interesting. We will increase the tension making the revelation later. And even if you're eliminated, the public is interested in your thoughts," said Chris in a loud tone, then whispered to the camera, "even if I don't understand why."

Brick looked at his opponents, smiling. "C'mon girls, it will be fun. Let's think about it as a testimony of our time in the game."

"That's the attitude Brick, that's why you're a favorite of the masses," said Chris making a big grin. "Now go inside. We will record the messages from older to younger. Courtney, you go first," said the host, chuckling.

"Sir, that's was a little rude," said Brick, frowning at the host.

But Courtney just shrugged. "Thanks Brick, but I don't really care about what Chris says about me."

Chris shook his head as they went into de confessional and began to record the messages.

Confessional: Courtney

How was being in the show for 6 weeks?

"It wasn't as bad as I expected," said Courtney, making a small smile. "When I came back, I was really upset and disappointed. Some people I wanted to meet weren't here and instead were some people I never wanted to meet again. At that moment, I just wanted to be alone. And even if this place sucks, people never left me alone, and before I noticed it, I was having a good time."

Confessional: Brick

How was being in the show for 6 weeks?

"I'm happy and proud of being here all this time. Yes, things were awkward, weird, or harsh many times. But I was trained to deal with adversity, and in the end it was a great experience. An I was fortunate enough to be on both teams, which gave me the chance of meeting many people," said Brick, nodding and smiling. "Also, it was a million times better than Wawanakwa."

Confessional: Sammy

How was being in the show for 6 weeks?

"The island is as bad as it was 6 months ago, but at least we have a roof and food without having to forage it ourselves," said Sammy, chuckling. "Probably my lowest moment was after the team swap. I didn't know anyone of the veterans and was afraid of being eliminated next. Even then, I enjoyed the time I was here, and I learned a lot about myself."

Confessional: Courtney

How was the food?

"Terrible. I'm surprised how bad the food was. I mean Chef has been doing this slob for what? 5 years? And I think it's worse now than ever. I understand it's cheap camp food, but people usually get better with practice, not worse," said Courtney with a frown on her face and rolling her eyes.

Confessional: Brick

How was the food?

"If I need to summarize it in only one word, it was delish. The food Chef cook is way better than what we eat at the academy. Especially the red slob, if I'm deployed in a mission, I would want a cook like Chef in my unit," said Brick saluting.

Confessional: Sammy

How was the food?

"As I said, having food instead of foraging for it's great. But honestly, sometimes some friends and I went to try to forage our own food. But as days passed, the food in the woods became scarcer, and we were forced to eat at the Mess Hall. It wasn't so bad, I guess?" Sammy said, but her upset expression betrayed her words. Probably the food was really bad.

Confessional: Chef

How was the food?

"I slave in front of the oven 3 times a day for 48 days, and those damn kids are never grateful. Lucky enough, there is always one or two that enjoy it. That makes my day and all the hardships worth it," said Chef, smiling but with his classic frown. "Ok, I lied. It makes it almost worth it, but not."

Confessional: Courtney

How were the people this season?

"I'm grateful to many people on this season. Thanks to them, I learned a lot and grew as a person. One of the first lessons is that you can learn from anyone, even people younger than you. Zoey, Dawn, Lightning are people who I never expect could learn anything, and I was wrong, really wrong," said Courtney, chuckling.

She then sighed, "I also had the chance to make amends and become friends with many people I wronged in the past, like Cody, and learn a lot from people who were the opposite from me, like Sammy and Brick."

"But the two people I owe the most are Mike and Duncan. Mike taught me I can become a new me, and there is nothing wrong with that. You can change if you want. And Duncan showed me that people can change and that you can try to amend your mistakes. This was something I didn't expect, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm happy I came back," said Courtney, making a big smile.

Confessional: Brick

How were the people this season?

"As I was lucky enough to be in both teams, I must say that I'm quite honored to be in the same season as my teammates and opponents. I wanted to be together more time with people like Cameron, Max, and Zoey, but sadly it couldn't be," said Brick, frowning sadly.

"I made some right choices but also some bad decisions. I want to apologize to Jasmine for eliminating her without thinking about the team and Charlotte, who was on her right to be angry at me. But I assure you I didn't do it out of malice," said the cadet rubbing his neck.

He then took a deep breath and smiled. "But from all the people I met, I want to thank Alejandro for being a great friend. He gave me a place in the foxes and supported me even if we had different views, both in votes and gameplay. Also I want to thank Duncan who helped me even after I refused to join his alliance. Both have different ways of playing the game and warned me against playing by my code, but always were there for me, so I'm thankful and proud of being their friend."

Confessional: Sammy

How were the people this season?

"At first, I was quite angry. Jas, my best friend, was eliminated early. Amy was trying to make my life miserable, as always, and half of the team was on her side. It didn't help Shawn and Sky were on really bad terms. And to top it all, I was swapped when we were about to eliminate my sister," said Sammy, lowering her eyebrows and clenching her fists.

"But then many people helped me realize that I wasn't doing my best. I hid behind my friends and blamed others for my own weakness, not trying to improve because I was afraid of failing. But thanks to Shawn, Sky, Dramaman, Duncan, Heather, and Courtney, I realize that I need to change myself and take responsibility for my decisions," added the twin in an excited tone.

She then smiled confidently. "And thanks to that, I not only reconciled with Amy but also ended dating Topher. The old me would be too resentful to forgive my sister and too coward to accept his feelings. So I'm happy of having the courage to face both."

Confessional: Courtney

What will you be remembered for?

"I don't really mind about what I'll be remembered for," said the Latin girl, looking sadly at the ground. "I just hope I won't be remembered as the nasty and angry CIT that was betrayed by her closest friends."

Confessional: Brick

What will you be remembered for?

"I hope I'm remembered for respecting my code and for my discipline. But I would also like to be remembered for my fashion sense," said the cadet, rubbing his neck flustered.

Confessional: Sammy

What will you be remembered for?

"I think my positive attitude, my hard work, and how I always tried my best," said Sammy smiling, and then chuckled nervously. "But I'll probably be remembered as the younger twin. I just hope people at least remember my name is Sammy and not Samey."

"Ok, those confessionals were great. Now follow me. We need to change locations for the best 3 elimination ceremony," said Chris, winking.

Courtney walked in silence while Brick and Sammy looked at each other. They knew one was out of the game and the other would compete against Courtney, but none of them said anything. The time for words was over.

Chris and the campers went to the big crater in the middle of the island. The place was replaced by a big stage with 3 bleachers, each one with a photo of one of the still remaining competitors. All the eliminated contestants, the peanut gallery, Harold and LeShawna were present. The Geek was supporting Courtney, and LeShawna was sitting at Brick's bleacher.

"Welcome lucky finalist to the finale stage," said Blaineley waving at the contestants. "Here we'll find out who is the second finalist and also announce the final challenge of this season."

The host with the most glared at Blaineley. "Yes, that's true, but why are you saying this? You should be sitting with the peanut gallery supporting one of the contestants."

"WHAT? WHY? I'm also a host. I have the right to be here," said the diva, stomping her foot.

"No you don't. You're the AFTERMATH host, so neither you, LeShawna, or Harold will be hosting this episode. Only me and Chef will be running the show," said Chris, shooing her. "So get out of my stage."

Blaineley turned red from the anger. "You'll regret this. You have the chance to make this the best finale ever, but you're too arrogant and stupid to see it. YOU WILL REGRET THIS." She then was carried away by Chef, who left her in Sammy's bleacher.

There were some chuckles among the peanut gallery, but the three finalists were too nervous to enjoy the drama. The atmosphere on the stage could be cut with a knife.

"Ehem, after that small interruption, let's continue with the show," said Chris, recovering his composure. "And now, the moment you were all waiting for. It's time to know who will compete against Courtney in the final for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!"

The peanut gallery cheered while many whispered among them.

"The tension is killing me. I wonder who will win, Brick or Sammy?" asked Zoey, biting her lip nervously.

"Both are cool in my book, so I guess any of them can win," said Duncan in an unusual nice comment. "But none of them can beat Courtney, so winning the tiebreaker will only give them bragging rights."

Sierra chuckled. "Hehehe, someone really fell in love with his ex, right?"

"I'll leave that to your imagination Sierra," replied the punk, winking.

"My second cousin once removed Billy works in the show and he told me Brick is the winner, ya," said Staci, who was on Brick's bleachers. She made a confident smile and raised a finger while talking.

"Yeah, whateva, I'll believe you when it's announced," replied Anne Maria, while filing her nails.

And in Sammy's Bleachers, both Jasmine and Amy were with their fingers crossed and eyes closed, waiting for the result.

"Sometimes I think they're more similar to each other than they want to admit," said Sky, looking at both.

"Really? I think it's only a coincidence," replied Dave, with a skeptic expression.

On the stage, Chris was with Chef at his left and Courtney at his right. In front of him were Sammy and Brick. The peanut gallery was unusually quiet.

"And now, at last, the moment everyone has been waiting for. We will reveal who is the chosen one by the audience after more than 120,000 viewers voted," said Chris making a big smirk.

Brick was standing with the legs open and the arms behind his back but was sweating a lot. Sammy tried to look relaxed, but her mouth showed a nervous smile.

"The people supported by the masses, and the winner of the tiebreaker, who also get this marshmallow is…"

Brick"

The cadet made a fist pump and shouted as he was in the finale. Chris threw him a marshmallow, which hit Brick in the head. Sammy clapped and gave him a handshake.

"I can't believe it. You were telling the truth," said Anne Maria, almost dropping her file.

Staci chuckled. "Don't worry, it's hard to have such an amazing family."

The younger twin then walked toward her bleacher, where her supporters were already waiting for her.

"Don't worry, Sheila, you put a great fight," said Jasmine, rubbing Sammy's left shoulder.

"Yes, you did everything you could. I'm so proud of being your sister," said Amy rubbing her sister's right shoulder.

Then both Jasmine and Amy glared at each other. While someone hugged the younger twin from her back.

"You may be the third place in the show, but you're the winner in my heart," said Topher with a big and beautiful smile.

Sammy blushed and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks, that's what I needed to hear."

Brick walked next to Courtney, both watching at each other eyes with a fierce gaze.

"Do you still think we're not enemies?" asked Courtney in a snarky tone.

"Of course," replied the cadet smiling triumphantly. "But that doesn't mean I'll let you win this challenge without a fight."

After the announcement of the second finalist, Sammy's bleacher split between the other two campers.

On Courtney's side were Katie, Sadie, DJ, Harold, Rodney, Jay, B, Zoey, Mike, Dawn, Lightning, Heather, Cody, Sierra, Sammy, Topher, Jasmine, Shawn, Dave, Sky, and Duncan.

And on Brick's side were Jo, Anne Maria, LeShawna, Staci, Lindsay, Beth, Cameron, Alejandro, Charlotte, Max, Dakota, Sam, Ezekiel, Izzy, Amy, Lilly, Scarlett, Beardo, Leonard, and Blaineley.

"Lightning, weren't you on Brick's side?" asked Zoey, raising an eyebrow.

"Lightning always supported angry girl, but he wanted to sit with Lindsay until the finale. You need to support your team in the actual game, not during the warm-up," explained the jock, nodding.

On the same bleacher, there were a lot of new supporters from the Pahkitew season.

"And why did all of you decided to support Courtney? I mean, many of you were in the same team as Brick," asked Cody, smiling at the younger twin.

Sammy twiddled with her fingers. "I owe Courtney a lot, so I wanted to at least cheer for her in the finale, I don't have anything against Brick, but she really helped me when I needed it."

"And I support anyone Sammy support," said Topher with a charming smile.

"Same as me fella," replied Jasmine giving a high five to the host wannabe.

"And I'm here because Jasmine's here," replied Shawn.

"And I'm here because Dave, Shawn, Sammy, and Jasmine are here," said Sky, flexing her arm.

Dave rolled his eyes. "So basically, none of us really support Courtney, except for Sammy, we're just following her."

"Yep, basically," replied Topher winking at him.

The germaphobe shrugged. He only hoped the final didn't depend on the sincerity of the peanut gallery support.

And on Brick's bleacher, things were just as chatty.

"Why are you here, shoo, shoo, go and support that CIT girl, aren't you friends or whateva?" said Anne Maria, shooing Blaineliy with a hand gesture.

"I also don't want to be here, but that envious Chris didn't let me host the final," said Blaineley glaring at the tanned girl. "And also, I hate that arrogant and aggressive Courtney, so I prefer to be here, thanks."

"You're such a sad person. If I was Chris, I wouldn't want you to be my co-host," said LeShawna, putting a hand on her hip. "And I talk from experience, babe."

Blaineley just rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore LeShawna's provocations (or truths, depending on who you ask.)

And aside from the diva, there was another new face that shocked the bleacher.

"W-why is my e-ex sidekick sitting here?" asked Max, trembling while hiding behind Sam, who was ignoring him while playing with his gameguy.

Scarlett just sighed tiredly. "As much as I loathe you, I consider better for my self-preservation to avert some of our former season acquaintances, like the Brobdingnagian Australian or her maladjusted suitor."

"That's awesome. The book of the dead told me the same, but to avoid the unbeliever. It seems we're in the same wavelength, evil witch," said Leonard in an ominous voice.

Beardo raised a hand shyly, Leonard nodding at him.

"Of course, you're also in the same wavelength, my bard friend," replied the wizard.

Scarlett was annoyed and surprised, annoyed by Leonard's words but surprised he understood what she was saying. Beardo then began to make the sound of a big crowd cheering.

Meanwhile, on the stage, Chris stood up on a podium to watch over Brick and Courtney.

"And now is time for the final challenge. This is also the seventh blast from the past challenge for the seventh season, The great great great finale," said Chris in a loud voice.

Chef, who was behind him, blew a trumpet and throw some confetti into the air. He then went away, mumbling something about his salary.

"So, what's the challenge about?" asked Courtney, folding her arms unimpressed.

"Take it easy, this is a simple challenge, you just need to run around the island, collect 3 flags and go to the goal, simple as pie," said Chris making a big smile.

Then on the screen appeared the road around the island. The interns' did a great job making and paving it.

Brick saluted. "Sounds simple enough. So the flags are hidden around the island."

"No, along the road, you'll find checkpoints. In the first one, you need to retrieve the flag climbing a pole. If you don't have the flag forget about coming down," said Chris, laughing.

The image then showed two poles with two flags, one blue and one green.

"Wow, wow, wow, just like in the first season," said Beth excitedly.

"Exactamundo! In the second checkpoint, you need to steal your flag from the mad king, who will be protecting them with his pasta bazooka," said the host, pointing at the screen.

The image changed to Chef, dressed with a fake crown, over a small wooden tower, with two flags below the construction.

"Oh my gosh Mik, just like in our season," said Zoey, holding her boyfriend's arm.

"Yes it is, Zoey. I just wonder how Chef arrived there so fast," said the spiky-haired guy, rubbing his chin.

Chef was standing over the tower with his arms folded and an annoyed expression

"Yes, I'm the mad king," he said in a tired tone. "Do I really have to reprise this role?"

Chris chuckled. "You should have thought about it before forgetting to hid those tokens during the last challenge."

"Yes, yes, don't need to repeat it," said the big man, rolling his eyes.

"And the third checkpoint, you need to cross the largest mud pool in West Canada. You will need to get dirty if you want to win the gold," the host laughed at his own joke.

Dave rolled his eyes. "And of course, he needed to add something from our season."

"Are you ok?" asked Sky, looking a little guilty.

"Don't worry, I'm over it. I'm more annoyed because it's a mud pool than because I remember what happened, it was also my fault. Forgive and forget is my motto," replied Dave, smiling at her.

Shawn looked at him with a puzzled expression. "I thought your motto was 'Before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean.'"

Dave sighed and hugged his best friend. He really missed his antics.

"And after you get your 3 flags, you just need to go to follow the road back here. The first to arrive will be the winner of the seventh season and ONE MILLION DOLLARS," shouted Chris, raising his hands as the bleachers cheered. (Actually, it was only some of them like Katie, Sadie, Rodney, and Beth, but thanks to Beardo, it sounded like everyone was doing it.)

"Sorry ma'am, but I have been jogging around the island since day one. I think this challenge was made just for me," said Brick, making a small smile.

"Don't be sorry, I'll still beat you. I may not be a jogger, but I have been looking for this moment for 5 seasons. I'll not let you have it," replied Courtney, stretching her legs with a confident smile.

The cadet nodded. "May the best person win."

"Wait, wait, wait!" shouted Chris, interrupting the friendly discussion. "There is another rule I almost forget … you won't be running."

"What?" asked both contestants at the same time.

Chris snapped his fingers. Steve and Logan pulled some big tarps which were lying under the stage. Under each of them was a pile of junk.

"You need to build your own vehicle to race around the island. You can use anything you find in these two piles of junk. These were built with parts of 1000 broken robots used on the season, and we also threw some vehicles from the junkyard to make it easier," said the host while walking down the scenario and taking a robot raccoon from the pile.

"This is similar to the revenge season finale, but there are some dissimilarities. I wonder if either Courtney or Brick had the basic engineering skills to pull this one," said Cameron adjusting his glasses.

Lindsay just nodded joyfully, "Don't worry, Carlton. I'm sure that even if those complicated things you say are true, they'll be fine."

"The candy eye character is right. If both have a low-level mechanical skill, the competition will be fair," said Charlotte, smirking. "Such a shame I'm not playing. This game seems like a lot of fun."

"AAAAnd last but not least, you can have 2 helpers in the challenge. You can choose anyone on your support bleacher," said the host in a loud voice, making all the peanut gallery fall silent.

"I guess he needed to also use something from MY finale," said Heather in an upset tone. "Just remembering it makes my blood boil," she then gave a death glare to Ezekiel, who waved at her shyly.

Harold rubbed his chin. "I guess choosing the right helpers will be fundamental to win, but also riding alone should be quicker. This challenge has a lot of variables you need to account for. Awesome!"

"Ha, if Brick wants to win, he already knows who he should pick as a helper," said Jo pointing at herself.

Amy rolled her eyes. "Because a jockette is exactly what he needs to build a car."

"Repeat that to my face Twiddle-dumb," said Jo pointing at her aggressively.

"How original reference to call a twin. I give you 4 over 10 for quoting a classic. I recommend you to stop trying to get a career in comedy and stick to be a bouncer or trash collector," said the mean twin in a snarky tone.

"ENOUGH!" Shouted the jockette, trying to jump over the cheerleader but was stopped by Dakota and LeShawna.

Chris was enjoying the drama, but continued with the show as if nothing was happening. "Now you have 10 minutes to chose your helpers and 90 to build your vehicle. You can use time from the building part if you can't make your mind about who will be your helpers, but you can't start building earlier if you choose quickly. capeesh?"

Both finalists nodded and then faced each other.

"Good luck," said Courtney, smirking.

"Same to you ma'am," replied Brick saluting.

With that small gesture, the final challenge started.

Courtney was overwhelmed. All the confidence she had before the challenge vanished. What should she do? Take control like before? But what if she does that and loses the challenge? Should she take her friends or the people she thinks are better for the challenge?

"If you want to win you have to take the Lightning with you, there is nothing to be afraid of with Lightning in the team, angry girl," said Lightning, posing with his arms pointing to the air.

"This isn't a football game. She needs smarts to win, sha-idiot. Someone like me," said Heather with a smug smile, "and once I help you win this, you can give me a small part of the prize."

Jay wiggled his eyebrows, "Hey gorgeous, no one here knows about rolling like me. If you want, I can teach you intimately."

Few people remained composed or quiet, like Duncan, who was unusually silent.

"SHUT UP!" shouted Jasmine in a loud voice while glaring at everyone. "This dog's breakfast won't help her win the game. Just let that sheila decide."

That was an epiphany for Courtney. She realized she was agonizing over nothing. It was her finale. Of course she should take charge.

"Thanks Jasmine," said Courtney, who then realized why the tall Aussie was Sammy's best friend. "I'm grateful for everyone's support, but for this challenge, I need skills. So please take a step forward those with automotive or engineering knowledge."

Heather huffed. "But you need more help than just building the car."

"Thanks, Heather, but I'll bet my win in building the car. I know you want to help, but I want to win or lose in my own way," replied the former CIT.

The Queen Bee flustered and stood back. She didn't expect that Courtney would give her such a considerate reply.

After that, only 6 people remained as candidates: Cody, Duncan, Harold, B, Mike, and Jay.

The silent man glared at his blond friend.

"What? I'm an expert in roller skating. I can do this," said Jay on his defense.

Jasmine looked at Shawn with a perplexed expression.

"You also know a lot about repairing and customizing vehicles, like when you put those metal plates on your mother's car. Why didn't you step forward?" asked the Aussie girl.

"I just did that as practice for the upcoming apocalypse. I'm sure the other guys are better than me in non-zombie situations. It's my own way of helping her," replied Shawn, closing an eye and nodding.

Courtney looked at them and smiled. There were some unexpected people there.

"Hello Harold, it's been a while. You look quite handsome in your suit," said the former CIT.

It was funny. After forgiving herself for her own shortcomings, forgiving others also become easier. Her resentment toward Harold disappeared.

But the redhead was confused. "Thanks, I know it seems strange, knowing our personal history, but believe my wishes to help you in this endeavor are genuine."

"I know, thanks," replied Courtney, smiling at him.

Now was the moment of truth. Should she choose with her brain or with her heart? After all that happened in these past weeks, the answer was obvious.

"Thank you for your support. It's a shame I can only have 2 helpers, but believe me I'm grateful for everyone's support," said Courtney, showing a more confident attitude. "So please help me, Duncan and Mik."

"Of course, Princess, I'm an expert at winning million dollars prizes," said the delinquent, smirking.

"Thanks Duncan, and don't call me princess," replied the former CIT, winking.

"Court, I know I'm selfish but, can you choose B instead of me?" said Mik rubbing his arm. "I know Vito's car knowledge is great, but I'm sure B can do a better job. This guy is a genius."

Everyone looked at them, and the silent man blushed, rubbing his neck.

"If you say so Mik, I trust you. Please B lend me your strength," said Courtney looking at the silent man in the eyes.

B recovered his composure and gave her a thumbs-up, then the three began to walk toward their junk pile.

"You were so awesome there Mik, I'm so proud of you," said Zoey hugging her boyfriend.

"Hehehe, thanks Zoey. I really want her to win this challenge, so I think this is the best way to do it," he replied, then kissing her on the forehead. "Thanks for supporting my decision."

"Oh my gosh Sadie, they're so cute together," said Katie, hugging her BFF.

"I was thinking the same Katie, they make a perfect couple," replied Sadie in the same excited tone.

"They make me believe true love stills exist in this world," said Rodney, drying a tear from his eye.

Then the three squeed happily while the couple let go of each other, flustering after hearing all those comments.

Confessional: Duncan

"No, I wasn't afraid of facing her after the kiss. I just wanted to give her some space…" said Duncan, his eyes darting back and forth. "Ok maybe I was a little nervous, I don't know what will happen, but I will help her get the money. Then we can talk about what happened in the Mess hall."

Confessional: B

The silent man was stretching in the confessional, smiling smugly at the camera. He then winked and opened his jacket, showing it was filled with all kinds of tools. Hammers, electric screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, pliers, and even some tools that were invented by him. After that B made an ok sign to the camera.

Brick's supporters' situation was similar, with many people wanting to help the cadet win the million dollars.

Jo and Amy glared at each other, with LeShawna, Dakota, and Anne Maria standing between them.

"This will be a tough one," muttered Brick, there were a lot of people he liked, but he could only take 2 as his helpers.

"If you know what is good for you, you should choose me," said Blaineley smiling arrogantly.

Zeke looked at her with wide eyes. "Wow, do you know how to build a car?"

"Of course not hillbilly," replied the diva, rolling her eyes. "But I'm fabulous, famous, and can use the extra spotlight. Also, the audience will cheer for him louder if I'm in his team."

"C'mon, old hag, he wants to win the million not to run a retirement home," said Anne Maria, huffing. "So he should choose MOI."

Blaineley rolled her eyes. "Oh please-"

"Yes, please. If he wants help, I'm the best one," shouted Dakota, raising her arms in a really exaggerated way.

"NO! CHOOSE ME! MEMEMEMEMEMEMEME, I'm the best helper you can find," said Izzy jumping and raising her hand. "Can someone else do this?" She then proceeded to touch the tip of her nose with her tongue.

Many people began to shout, bicker and argue among themselves. Amy fighting with Jo, Jo shouting at Anne Maria, who was mocking Blaineley, Zeke asking what hillbilly meant, and Brick trying to calm down everyone.

Then the commotion was interrupted by a really loud airhorn. Everyone covered their ears and then turned to the source of the noise. It was Beardo. He was looking fiercely at the crowd, his lips trembling.

"W-We need to stop this, or he'll lose the challenge," said the human beatboxer, using all his courage to utter those few words.

"Beardo is right. We should stop discussing among us and chose the best helpers for Brick," said Beth, hammering her hand with her fist. "First, we need someone to help to build the car."

"My great, great, grandfather Henry invented the quadricycle. Before that, people had to whip and hurt horses to move a carriage from one place to another, so sad," said Staci, making a smug smile.

Lindsay looked at her with wide eyes. "That's awesome Tracy, but can you build cars, or it was only your grand, grand, grand, grand, grandfather Harry?"

"It's Henry," replied Staci in a stern tone and then looked at the ground, ashamed. "And also, it was only him. I don't know the first thing about cars."

"Such a waste of time," said Scarlett adjusting her glasses. "McArthur, I can develop the best motorized vehicle for this endeavor if you covenant to proffer me a quarter of the prize."

The rest of the presents looked at her with shocked expressions. It was too much.

"NONSENSE! Listen to me Patton, I can do the same she promised for half the prize money," said Max, folding his arms arrogantly.

"Are you asinine? Sorry it's self-evident," said Scarlett, chuckling, "your proposal doesn't offer any advantage over mine. In fact, is egregious in comparison."

Max chuckled. "Of course, my proposal needs more money. I'm an EVIL genius, not just your everyday psychopath genius," He then proceeded to hide behind LeShawna.

"I may not be an automobile expert, but I can help you for free," said Cameron raising a hand.

"That's a great idea. Cameron is also a genius," said Sam in an excited tone. "it's like watching the ROTI's finale again."

Then Amy stepped forward. "Then I offer myself as the second helper. He needs someone who helps him to win the challenge."

"Eh, don't so fast, mean twin, I can do a better job than you," said Jo facing Amy.

"Sorry to interrupt your discussion. But I offer myself as the second helper. Not only because I know I can do a good job helping him because I compete in two other finals, but also because Brick is a dear friend," said Alejandro looking at Brick seriously. "What do you say, amigo?"

Brick hesitated. Yes, Alejandro was great, but he didn't want to step over Amy and Jo's feelings.

"Ugh, ok, if it's Alejandro, I think I can let him go in my place. But you need to help him win the competition," Amy told the Spaniard, putting her hands behind her head.

Jo tried to speak but was interrupted. By Anne Maria, "Yes, he isn't half bad at challenges and is really hot, I support the idea."

"I think my magic can be more useful than his tricks, but I'm a little rusty, and they had a nice teamwork, so I'll let you help the hero," said Leonard nodding.

The jockette stomped the ground. She knew there was no way to turn the situation in her favor. "If you want to lose, then go ahead, take bubble boy and Eelejandro as your helpers. I don't care."

Brick smiled and took a deep breath. "Thanks for understanding Jo. Alejandro, Cameron, I'm in your care."

The Spaniard smiled, but the young genius seemed worried. Then both went to the junk pile while Amy walked toward the cadet, kissing him on the cheek.

"Good luck," she said while running away, leaving all the presents gasping and Brick blushing, not knowing what to say.

Confessional: Cameron

"After being eliminated from the show, I have some confidence issues, so I wasn't sure if I could help Brick. But after watching what was happening, I have to take a step forward," said Cameron looking fiercely at the camera. "And I'll build the best vehicle I can for my friend. My only concern is if we can trust Alejandro."

Confessional: Alejandro

"Sorprendidos? Many people may think I have ulterior motives to help Brick win this game, but this time it isn't true," said the Spaniard, shrugging. "I'm just shocked how he could reach the finale with that honest and straightforward gameplay, so I want to help him and see for myself if he can win the prize with that attitude."

After Chris gave them the signal, both finalist and their helpers began to build their vehicles. The junk piles have car and bike parts, including wheels, and many, many robot parts. Some were in great condition, and others were completely useless.

On Courtney's side, Duncan was dismantling the cars while B assembled the pieces he got in a small Sedan-like chassis. The finalist, meanwhile, was focusing on picking the robot parts that were in better condition.

"I can't believe among this junk is a Golf GTI Mk2. The steering wheel is useless. But if we can rescue the engine, you can consider that million as good as yours, princess," said Duncan, looking inside a rust-colored car's hood.

"Don't get overconfident. We still need to win the challenge," said Courtney, examining what looked like a bear claw. "Also, is that engine really that good?"

B chuckled at the couple bickering while Duncan answered from inside the hood. "This old engine is one of the best of its decade, there are still people driving this model in the streets after 30 years, and this baby seems to be working fine."

The Latin girl put the claw in the pile of useful parts and began to examine a crushed beaver body. "If you say so. I'll trust you."

Duncan hit his head against the hood, looking at her with an awed expression. "What did you say?"

"That I trust you. What? Isn't something so weird to say if you're helping me win the challenge," said Courtney, blushing. None of them say anything else.

The silent man smiled. He knew Courtney and Duncan from the old episodes but they were funnier and much nicer in person than they seem on tv. He then looked at a bike and had an idea. There was still time, so he began to work on it.

On Brick's side, things were different. The guys were fixing a jeep to use as their vehicle.

"Is a jeep really the best car we can use?" asked Brick, rubbing his neck. "I mean, even if I studied in a military academy, we could use a different car if it's a better option."

"Don't worry, Brick, this vehicle was the optimal choice. Being roofless makes it lighter and easier to fit us three inside it. Also it's in great condition for a disused machine," said Cameron, happy to be working on the car.

Alejandro was digging for robot parts, smiling. "You worry too much mi amigo, just relax and focus on the rest of the challenge while our little friend and I focus in the vehicle."

"I didn't expect you have any kind of previous experience with motor vehicles, Alejandro," said Cameron while disarming a squirrel head.

"My uncle Juan Antonio is a professional mechanic. He worked for many car manufacturers and taught me some tricks," he said, making a small smirk. "But I'm sure you're better than me, Cameron."

The brainiac blushed at the unexpected compliment. "I'm not that good, but I'll do my best."

Brick smiled, he was afraid Cameron and Alejandro would have problems working together, but it seems he was worried about nothing. He then found a weird purple robot part in the middle of the heap.

The cadet pulled it, but it didn't budge, he put more strength, and at last, he could take out the giant piece from the junk's pile.

"What is that? Is it really a robot part?" asked Cameron while adjusting his glasses.

Alejandro smiled. "That's our secret weapon."

After 90 minutes, both teams had their cars at the starting line, the peanut gallery was cheering for their favorite competitor.

"You never stop to amuse me. I must say your vehicles are better than I expected," said Chris in a mocking tone.

On Courtney's side, she had a sedan-like car painted in purple called 'Princess Racer'. The tires were bigger and the sides of the vehicle bulkier. It had the engine exposed and 3 exhaust pipes. On the driver's door was painted a yellow skull, like the one on Duncan's shirt.

"You just have to go and do it," said Courtney shaking her head.

The delinquent smiled proudly. "You're welcome."

B smiled. They were like a couple in a sitcom.

On Brick's side, they had a jeep-like car in yellow and rusted colors. They didn't have time to paint the 'Fashion soldier,' as they called it. The car looked normal at first sight, but it had many tubes connected to the wheels. The trunk was bigger than normal, and they took out the back seat, putting only an individual seat from another car.

"I'm so proud of it. It's beautiful," said Brick, drying a tear.

"C'mon Brick, save those tears for when you win the million, right Cam," said Alejandro, giving a pat at Cameron's back.

Cameron prepared himself for the pat, but it was weaker than he expected. He smiled proudly. "Absolutely, I'm confident with our help you can beat any adversity."

Brick saluted at them. The Spaniard and the Brainiac returned the gesture.

"Ok, drivers, get into your cars and start your engines," said Chris, looking at Logan, who then raised a green flag.

B smiled and gave Courtney and Duncan a green and a black helmet while he wore an orange one.

"Wow B, you're really considerate," said Courtney. She was about to sit in the driver's seat, but Duncan went first.

"Sorry princess but little Bee and I prepare the back seat just for you," said Duncan, winking.

The silent man glared at the delinquent and then nodded at the former CIT, pointing at the back seat. He then sat at the passenger seat.

Courtney sighed. "Ok I said I trust you, so let's go."

On the other car, Alejandro looked at his companions. Brick jumped at the passenger seat and Cameron at the back seat, fastening his seatbelt.

"So this means I'll be the driver, right?" said Alejandro smiling while sitting behind the wheel.

"Sorry soldier, but I'm not confident in my driving skills, so I only want to drive if it's absolutely necessary," said Brick saluting.

Cameron nodded. "And I have failed my driving test 2 times. I don't understand why. I passed the theoric test without any problems, but when I'm driving, I can't speed up."

"Don't worry, I got this," said the Spaniard, taking out some driving gloves and putting them in his hands.

Both drivers started their engines. Courtney's car roared loudly with its 3 exhausting pipes, while Brick's made a more subtle sound.

"Ok Finalists, get ready, the last challenge will start at the count of 3," said Chris in an excited tone

The screen showed both poles with the flags at their top, some grease dripping from them.

"1"

The screen then showed Chef drinking a cup of coffee, sitting in the top of his tower

"2"

The image then showed the mud pit with the last flags. There was something mysterious in that last scene.

"3, GO, GO, GO" shouted Chris as Logan lowered the flag.

Both cars began to speed up. The final challenge of the Tyranny of the Masses had started. Who will win the million? Find out in the exciting last episode of the season.

Author Notes:

And the final challenge is on. The only remaining question is who will be the winner? Find the answers in the next episode of Total Drama Tyranny of the masses.

First I want to apologize to Sammy fans, but Brick has massive support, so there you have it. Honestly, it was fun to work with you, my readers, to choose the last finalist. You're the real masters of this season.

And the challenge is a mix of other challenges, with the main feature being the car race. I wanted to use helpers and also made something like in the ROTI finale, and this challenge is the result. If it's a good idea or not, I will let you decide in the next episode.

The image showed the caverns under Pahkitew island. The place was dark, and there was no space or air for a person to explore it. Most of the machinery, computers, and equipment were destroyed when the facility sank, and the water from the lake flooded the place.

But someone was walking among the ruins, bending their body in impossible ways until they entered the remains of the central facility.

The mysterious person had to climb the now vertical hallways until they reached the central room. The sliding door was broken, and the only light source was the stranger's eyes.

"It seems not everything is lost," said the figure, connecting to one of the mainframes. It was Dawn, or at least she looked like Dawn, but the lights from her eyes and the cables from her arms showed she wasn't the real aura reader.

After testing many computers, she found one that still worked. The system began to boot again, and the led in the central machine turned on, looking like an evil red eye in the darkness. But without the main generator, it was impossible to control the island.

A red arc of lightning made the robo-Dawn wince and retort in its place. After some moments, it calmed down. Her blue eyes turned in red lights.

"H-how dare those inferior humans to t-try to destroy me? I'll show them. I'll destroy this zzz-show and have my revenge. This is MY season," said the robot while climbing back to the surface, their voice sounding like Scarlett instead of Dawn.

Chris McLean, the twins, Courtney, and Lilly would all pay for ruining what would be the best season of all. DAM was so focused on their vengeance that they didn't notice it was malfunctioning. In their artificial mind there was only one thought, revenge. They had become more human than anyone would expect, and that meant that everyone on the island was in danger.

And as it went closer to the exit, DAM found it. The ideal tool for them to use as a weapon for their revenge.
