Ame

Ame stood in the Hokage's office in silence. The only sound she registered was the voice in her head pleading her not the throw up in front of the Hokage. The Anbu mask she wore covered her dreadful appearance, but her breath being deflected back to her still smelled of stale alcohol, no matter how hard she brushed her teeth, or how many times she swilled her mouth.

She focused on breathing shallowly, as every breath caused her stomach to roll with nausea. The Hokage had sent for her far too early if it was up to her. She'd barely had 3 hours of sleep and began to contemplate if she was even sober yet.

She swayed in her stance, willing herself to think of anything but the wave of sickness that threatened. She gulped and bile rose in her throat.

"Hokage-sama," the window slid open and an Anbu with a bear mask perched on the sill. "Wolf can't be located." Her eyes shot wide behind her mask. She didn't realise what they were waiting for, especially not if it was Kakashi. Her heartbeat faster in her chest and something uncomfortable swam in her veins. She didn't know if it was the hangover, the lack of sleep, or sheer dread that made her feel a little faint.

"If he doesn't want to be found, he won't" Hiruzen sighed behind his desk and rubbed his eyes with his fingers. He looked tired too, she realised. The Anbu with the bear mask slipped back out the window soundlessly.

The sun rose behind the Hokage. As he looked up to her his demeanour changed, he became focused and bore through the eyeholes of her mask.

"I'm going to be frank with you, Amaya-san." He leaned forward, propping his elbows on the wooden surface. "We've lost all contact with our spies in Sand." Her body faltered at his words.

"All of them?" she confirmed in a forced, steady voice. A slow nod was his response.

"All of them."

"And you think it is to do with our previous mission." She wasn't asking.

"Unless something major happened to reveal each spy, I can only assume they've known for quite a while and are sending a message after being aware of our interference in their meeting." Made sense. That would be her guess too.

"Your orders, lord 3rd?" She stood to attention even if her body begged her not to move. It earned a deep sigh from the tired Hokage.

"Where is Kakashi when you need him?" He uttered it, to himself under his breath. "Find Kakashi and bring him here is your first order." She actually felt her legs wobble as the command sounded. It's ok. She just had to be professional. This didn't involve anything personal.

"Am I to assume that we are still going to be partnered?" She willed her words to be even as she spoke.

"Naturally, my reasonings have not changed." He rose and turned to watch the sunrise. "I'm tired of your petty game with Kakashi." His bluntness almost made her flinch, "there is no room in Anbu for personal feelings, Ame." He warned. She wondered where his words came from.

"I understand, Hokage-sama," she bent her knee, showing respect. "I will prove my worth, and commitment to protecting this village." Speaking was even more difficult than breathing. The thinking was even more difficult than speaking. "And my loyalty," she added sincerely. Hiruzen turned to her then. He watched her carefully for a moment too long, she began to feel uncomfortable under his scrutinising gaze.

"You formally agree to the partnership, and will give no more resistance?" he asked her suspiciously. She nodded, still on her knee. She felt a presence stir outside the office as her next words came out.

"I recognise him as my Taichou" she looked up to the Hokage, a small but soft smile graced his lips. She began to wonder how much stress she'd caused him, acting like a child. She was partnered with one of the most successful young ninjas of their age. It should be honoured to be led by an experienced leader who was taught under Lord 4th.

She had her reasons though, the loss of her team almost broke her. What occurred on that final mission haunted her day and night. She vowed never to get close to anyone again.

A knock sounded at the door and she stood as the Hokage ordered them to enter. Her head went light as she stood and her already blurry vision faltered as black splodges danced in front of her. Her heart fluttered uncontrollably in her chest. As the world seemed to sway in front of her she didn't realise she was falling to the floor, backwards.

"Amaya?" The vague and distant voice of the Hokage sounded in her muted ears. The lights of the office glared between the dark patches in her vision. All of the feelings in her limbs seemed to drain out of her and her mind was nothing but empty. The fall registered too late and time seemed to slow as she sailed through the air, the floor awaiting.

She could vaguely hear voices around her before the world went dark.

Kakashi

Kakashi stood by the monument and read Obito's name. He sighed softly.

"What the hell am I doing?" he asked Obito. "She's my partner." He argued to himself.

He'd not returned home after the bar. He had come straight here. The night was still dark, with no sign of the sun.

His memory burned in the image of her. It replayed over and over in his head. He wanted it to. He hated that he wanted it to.

"I can't be involved with anyone, especially not her." She sighed and shook his head lightly at himself. "It's not even been two weeks. I didn't even know her real name," he shoved his hands into his pockets.

He didn't know what came over him in the bar. The sensation of her hands on his skin sent him delirious. The noises she made as she nuzzled into him was enough to send all logic out the window, it had sent him into a trance. He found her lips were being met by his own, and he realised he'd been craving it. Craving her.

His gut tightened as the images that passed through his mind's eye. He shook his head trying to fend off the memories. The feeling washed over him. It was just lust, he argued to himself. That's all he felt. He'd even been willing to let her see his face. He shook his head again.

"I promise myself I'd not get close to anyone again." He uttered to Obito. "Not after everything, I can't lose anyone else." He closed his eyes. "It was a mistake," he told himself.

Kakashi's hands still burned with the sensation of touching her skin. The feel of her body pressed against his. Her legs wrapped around him. Her hands in his hair. The taste of her mouth. But, most of all, the way she looked at him burned in his memory the most. He'd crawl over broken glass if it meant she'd look at him like that again. He needed it. Needed her.

He let out a frustrated groan and ran a hand roughly through his silver locks, before returning it to his pocket.

"She's my partner," he repeated. He knew what he had to do. He had to keep it professional. He knew he did, it's what the Hokage required from him. But, it also needed to happen, to protect himself. He couldn't lose anyone else. He needed to keep her at arm's length. He knew if they went any further wouldn't be casual. It couldn't. At least not for him.

He hated it. And, he hated how much he hated what he had to do.

Kakashi wondered through Konoha until the sun began to rise. He had sobered mostly up but couldn't face his apartment to sleep. He made it above the Monument and sat above Minato-sensei's head. The sky turned the lilac it does when the sun rises. He found he couldn't look away from it. Even the sky made him think of her. He decided he needed to get a grip and started to debate if he should train.

After watching the sunrise for 10 more minutes he decided that was a terrible idea. The alcohol in his system had worn off, leaving a savage hangover in his wake.

"Wolf" a presence suddenly descended near him. Kakashi dragged his tired eye over to the Anbu in the bear mask. "We have been looking for you all morning," the copy nin sighed and got to his feet. "The Hokage has requested your presents"

"Lead the way" is all he managed to mumble.

The anbu thrashed down from the monument and across the rooves of Konoha. It was safe to say Kakashi felt extremely bad. The taste of stale alcohol in his mouth and the smell of the bar hung on his clothes. He wished he'd had the opportunity to change them now.

He hopped down to the street as the Hokage's Tower entrances neared. He entered and began ascended the stairs. Albeit, slower than he usually would. His stomach threatened to spill if he thought about it too hard.

He brought his hand up to the door when he heard the Hokage speak.

"You formally agree to the partnership, and will give no more resistance?" he breathed in and went to knock until he heard Ame's voice from inside. His body froze as he heard her words.

"I recognise him as my Taichou"

She recognises him as her Taichou.

A wave passed over him and he found himself breathing harder. His chest felt funny and swelled at the words repeating in his head. He wanted to hear them again.

He shook his head snapping out of the trance it sent him into.

Keep it professional, he reminded himself. It's best for both of us.

He finally rasped his knuckle loudly on the wooden door.

"Come in, Kakashi," the Hokage's voice called through the door so he opened it and made his way in. His eyes fell immediately on Ame's figure, he didn't even have his mask to hide behind. He was too tired to pretend she wasn't there. He just wanted to look at her. His heart stuttered in his chest. She was dressed in her anbu gear but she started to sway.

He glanced quickly to the Hokage who mirrored his expression and back to Ame.

"Amaya?" The Hokage voiced and began to make his way over to her when she went down.

Hatake was nothing but a blur as he caught her head before it hit the floor.

"Ame?" he didn't notice how desperate his voice sounded. He didn't notice the Hokage looking between the two of them. "Ame, talk to me, what's wrong?" he asked her more professionally. Worry etched in his face.

He looked up to the Hokage who stood over them.

"What happened?" Kakashi asked.

"We had a short debrief of your mission," he spoke scanning over her. "I need to debrief you too, Kakashi."

He willed his medical jutsu to scan her as he lay her head in his kneeled lap.

"She can't be dispatched yet. She is supposed to be in the hospital. She can't see" he continued scanning her but he found nothing seriously wrong with her. Just fatigue, lack of nutrition and a seriously high blood alcohol level. He hadn't realised the Hokage was still staring at them.

"That's disappointing news indeed. I didn't realise her condition was so serious. Shall I send for a med-nin?" Something stirred behind the Hokage's words but Kakashi didn't care at that moment.

"She doesn't like hospitals. I will take her home. She just needs food, water, and rest." He carefully picks her up in bridal style and looks onto the Hokage.

He had gone to his desk and picked up a file. He placed it tastelessly on top of the unconscious nin in his arms and didn't realise the levelled gaze he gave the 3rd.

"You have two days, leave Sunday. You'll team up with Tenzo if Amaya is unable. Since he was in Team Ro, I'm sure you'll have no compatibility issues." The Hokage's words were loaded again as he dismissed him.

"Yes, Hokage-sama." Kakashi turned to leave.

"And Kakashi?" the copy nin didn't turn back around but turned his head slightly to his shoulder.

"Yes, Hokage-sama?"

"Be careful. It's dangerous." Kakashi swallowed lightly at the 3rd's warning. He looked down at Ame's blank mask.

"Yes, Hokage-sama." He left the office without looking back. He could feel the eyes of Hiruzen on his back until the door shut.

Ame

She sat up in the darkness of her room. A deep frown pulled at her brows trying to recall how she got here. The blanket of the futon fell off her revealing her anbu gear, minus the body protector. The chain-mail was uncomfortable and she started to remove her clothing when she realised someone else was in the room.

She startled and activated her byakugan in reaction causing searing pain to shoot through her. She saw Kakashi lying next to her on the tatami on his side, facing her. His arm under his head, like a pillow. She snapped her eyes closed as quick as she could groaning through clenched teeth. Her brain felt like it was throbbing and hitting the sides of her skull.

"Ame?" she jumped at the whisper. She couldn't open her eyes because of the pain. Couldn't talk as she clenched her teeth.

"Ame?" He repeated louder, concern and urgency on his words. She felt the heat of his hands wrap around her wrists and bring them away from her face. She didn't look at him but she soon felt his soft chakra flow around her eyes, relieving the tension enough to use them normally. She sighed and sagged at the feeling of his chakra in her system.

"Kakashi" she exhales, confused. "What happened?" He pulled his hands away from her face and she looked at him through the darkness. He knelt on her futon beside her.

The closeness of his body made her chest ache. The feel of him being near soothed her on a level she didn't expect. She couldn't make him out as there was hardly any light coming through the frosted window.

"I came to the Hokage's office. You fainted." His words weren't unkind but the tone he used made her want to wrap her arms around herself. She didn't realise that she did just that.

He rose to his feet and clicked the light switch. And again. And again.

"You haven't replaced the bulbs yet?" he asked, amusement laced his words. It was a contrast to his earlier coldness.

"I guess…" she said trying to find the words. Her head was sore and she was trying to piece things together. "I haven't been here much"

"Have you got spare light bulbs anywhere?" he asked innocently and even through the darkness she gave the 'really?' look.

"I know about the lightbulbs, Kakashi." She warned. He remained silent in the darkness and unmoving. "You shouldn't have asked Taiyo to lie. He's bad at it."

"Whatever do you mean, ojou-sama?" he feigned hurt at the accusation and mirth hung in his words. She caught herself smiling and immediately dropped it.

"Do you call all your subordinated Ojou-sama? Isn't very professional is it?" She quipped.

"Only my favourite ones." She could hear the insincerity in his tone. She rolled her eyes but couldn't help the bubble of something rise in her chest.

She heard him root around for the light-bulbs and suddenly realised she'd never had anyone in her apartment. But, this was the second time he had been in her house.

"They're in the cupboard on the bottom left." He obeyed her and retrieved the brown bag. He took it over to the small frosted window and used the little light to sieve through the bag.

"Soft light or white light?" he asked her.

"Soft."

"What about if you are reading? It'll strain your eyes." Her heart squeezed at his thoughtfulness. She hated that he took care of her. She didn't need it. She never had. She could take care of herself just fine. She rolled her eyes and called him a mother hen in her head.

"Did I ever tell you, you'd make a great genin team leader?" she smiled up to him sarcastically.

He unfastened the light shade of the kitchen and began screwing in the new bulb. She watched him stretch up to the ceiling through the low light of the night. She gulped at his sheer presence. She would've had to use a stool but he did it effortlessly. She watched his shirt rise up above his trousers, his white skin obvious in the low light in contrast to the black he wore.

"You did once, but it's out of the question now my subordinate has accepted me as her Taichou" he grunted at the end as he finished fitting the bulb. She gulped again and squeezed her legs together. Her hands wanted to run her fingernails down his torso. She shuddered at the thought just as the light came on.

She opened her eyes to find Kakashi watching her. Something flickered across his gaze but he looked away. Right he said something. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. Her chest flushed sending it up her neck to her cheeks. Now she could see him in the light the memories of the previous night flashing through her head reminded her.

"Are you," she began, "are you in last nights clothes?" He didn't look at her but she saw his eyes flare for a moment.

"Ah, yeah I guess I am."

"Ah, right." She gulped for the third time as her heart began to race. She could hear it in her ears.

"Stop it," he almost hissed.

"Stop what?" she said breathlessly and squeezed her legs together tighter under the futon. She watched as he closed his eyes and take a shallow breath.

"How're you feeling?"

"Fi-"

"Don't say fine." He interrupted her. "Is this what Chikako-sama feels like?"

"That's her job." She jested but he looked at her again, seriousness hung in his features.

"You need to take better care of yourself, Ame. When is the last time you ate something?"

"I-" she began to reply too quickly and realised she didn't know.

"You collapsed due to a mixture of exhaustion, lack of nutrients, lack of hydration, high blood alcohol levels, not to mention the pain in your eyes." He began to say something she knew she wouldn't like.

"I am not going to the hospital" she interrupted, "honestly, I'm fine." She sighed. "You're right, I haven't been taking care of myself recently. I can't remember when I ate something last." It was the honest truth and she realised he hadn't expected it. He stood and stared at her, his onyx eye seeing through to her soul as he was leaning on the wall opposite her in the kitchen area.

He uncrossed his arms and went up to the cupboards.

"Do you mind?" he asked confidently. She shook her head to indicate she didn't mind. She watched as he began opening and closing cupboards and felt like she couldn't anymore at the embarrassment

"They're empty." He stated irked.

"Ah, yes. About that," she laughed nervously, "I normally just eat out."

"Isn't that expensive every day?" he walked over and looked in her fridge.

"I see it more as an investment into the local economy," she jabbed at him playfully, needing some normality from him. He didn't bite and she couldn't help the disappointment stirring in her.

"You really have nothing?" he looked at her pointedly.

"I have water" she stated as if it counted. He braced himself on the counter and sighed. She got up from her futon and made her way to the kitchen area, and regretting it as soon as she realised how tight the alley kitchen was. She slinked past him and retrieved her two new glasses. She smiled at how pretty the coloured glass shone. She hadn't used both of them yet and got a funny feeling that she had a guest. She remembered having to go get them, and then why she had to go get them, and then she felt her brows pull down.

"Hey, how did you get in here?" she twisted to him, a cup in both hands. His eyes darted away from her and he turned away from her and cleared his throat.

"Well," he coughed into his fist, not looking at her, "I used your key of course." He replied staring at the countertop as if it were the most interesting thing suddenly.

She felt a deep heat rising to her face.

"The key that I keep in my bra?" she clarified.

"That would be the one." She was mortified but was satisfied he seemed as embarrassed as she did. She could see the top of his ears turn red.

"I'll have to ask you about that," she said as she squeezed past him, their bodies slightly brushing against each other. She got to the sink as her skin buzzed.

"Maybe next time." He dodged. An awkwardness hung between them and a long silence stretched out as she filled the glasses of water. She set one down on the counter for him and he turned to grab it. He looked at the glass in his hand and she suddenly felt proud for owning such nice things.

"I'm sorry about your other glass, and your hand." He came out with the oddest of things. She found herself frowning and strolled up to him.

"Don't be," she placed a hand on his arm absentmindedly, trying to reassure him. Both of their gazes dropped to his arm, and then back up to meet each other again. She quickly snapped her hand off him and hopped onto the counter opposite him. "I see it as a necessary upgrade." She held it to the new light bulb and admired the light. She looked back at him and he was staring at her. His gaze was intense and she mirrored him until he looked away at his own glass. "They're pretty aren't they?" she asked innocently. She suddenly went red remembering last nights events.

Is pretty Ame on a date?

His words echoed in her head and she began wondering if he thought she was pretty. She swallowed looking at him. She found her eyes roaming his body off her own accord. His arms, his chest, his shoulders, his legs, his hips, and back to his face.

"Stop looking at me like that, Ame," he almost pleaded with her. Her head snapped down to her glass.

"You need to eat something."

"I do." She nodded at her glass in her hands. She finished the water and found his hand stretched out to her. She glanced at it confused and high-fived it on reaction.

Even Kakashi couldn't resist laughing. She flushed harder as he laughed lightly. The sound of it made her melt under him.

"Your glass." He motioned again for it. She hopped down and handed it over confused. "I'm just going to refill it for you."

"I am able to get myself water."

"I never said you weren't able. It's called being nice, Ame."

"Because you're such a nice guy," she shot back sarcastically. He snorted a laugh behind that damn mask. She wanted to rip it off and own his tongue.

"You know I can smell really well," he began awkwardly.

"No, I didn't?" she wondered where this was going.

"Really well, Ame." He looked her dead in the eye as he filled her cup. She blinked innocently at him, confused. He sighed and shut the water off, the cup almost overflowing. "Stop thinking about things like that," it took her a second, but her eyes widened, mortified beyond belief. She turned around spluttering incoherent words.

"You should get a takeaway or something," he broke through her useless stuttering.

"Yes, good idea. Great idea. Thanks, good idea." She spilt. She was the one staring at the countertop now. She couldn't focus on anything, he cheeks still burned her face viciously.

"It's ok, Ame, you don't have to be embarrassed." She peered over he shoulder to him and he was smiling awkwardly scratching the back of his head. She wanted to bury herself alive. When she didn't say anything his smile and hand dropped and he continued. "As your," he cleared his throat, "as partners," he corrected, "we should remain professional, as we agreed before."

Her stomach dropped. So that was that. She couldn't help the bitter feeling in her chest grow. He was right of course. Nothing could happen between them when they were on the same team. She didn't want to be with anyone. She'd decided that a long time ago. She didn't see the point, it would only hurt you in the long run. Yet, the feeling settled in her stomach.

"You're talking about last night?" she didn't know why she asked him so directly, she just found she wanted to check if it was real. She looked up to him and his eye swirled with an emotion she couldn't place. He crossed his arms as he stood off the counter. Tucking his hands into the corners of his arms. Seeing him in her kitchen, she found, she enjoyed it. He made the space feel so small. Standing like that, he looked so formidable.

"Yeah, I am." Her heart clenched.

"Honestly, eh, it's a bit fuzzy, the whole thing." She wasn't lying. She remembered him kissing her clearly. But, getting home and some other details were, putting it mildly, gone.

He straightened further his brows rising, but his eyes didn't widen. She studied his face. How can he be so handsome even with the mask? She was almost glad she hadn't seen his face. I bet it could break hearts.

"What do you remember?" he asked. She wanted to talk to him about it. She didn't know why.

"I remember being at the bar. Gai came up to me around 7 pm. It was pretty empty then. I'd been there for a while already."

"Why were you at the bar alone?" shock registered on his own face as if he didn't realise he'd asked the question out loud.

"Well, I guess I just felt like I needed it." She said vaguely. He nodded dropping it, gesturing for her to go on.

"Gai and I, sat for ages and chatted. We drank a lot, so I challenged him to a water drinking competition," she smiled at the memory, his face didn't change, "he won of course, but then we spent the next hour going to the toilet one after another because we'd drank too much liquid." She laughed lightly at the memory. "And then, the bar was really busy and loud, I was pretty drunk by then."

He nodded and when she hesitated he asked, "Why did Gai call you Akari?"

"Is this official questioning, or personal curiosity?" she asked slyly over the side of her shoulder. He leant onto the side of the kitchen and they stood shoulder to shoulder almost touching. She felt the tension shift, her arm sang out to lean on him but she resisted.

"Which one would tell me the answer?" He looked down at her as she gazed up.

"It's my name" she offered. His brows pulled down as he crossed his arms and looked away from her again. Staring straight ahead. She kept watching him though.

"How did Gai find out?" did he sound irritated?

"He… asked?" she watched him falter.

"So if I asked, you would've told me?"

"No, definitely not," she smiled sarcastically up to him and his eyes shone down to her, meeting her gaze again. "I only tell people I really like?"

"Am I not really liked?" His voice dropped an octave, suddenly husky. She felt her mouth part slightly. She could feel the warmth radiating from his body. She breathed deeply trying to stave off the threatening path of thought but found his scent made her brain feel foggy.

"Let's keep it professional," she whispered deliriously.

He didn't say anything, he just stared down at her with that heavy gaze. She found she couldn't look away. A moment passed and she swallowed.

"Anyway," she exhaled, trying to snap herself out of it, "have you had dinner?" she asked innocently as she blinked up to him. It took him a moment to reply but he finally shook his head.

"I haven't." He spoke evenly, "actually, I haven't eaten all day. I carried you back here at sunrise and waited until you woke." She suddenly realised he was right. Her chest warmed and she cursed herself for taking it too personally. He did it out of obligation.

"Well, I guess that makes us even" she answered.

Kakashi

"Even? For what?" he asked quizzically, his head cocking to the side.

"I've had to carry your unconscious ass twice across countries, now I guess you've repaid the favour." he felt his lips wanting to smile. The image of her small frame carrying him must've been hilarious, and absolutely mortifying for him.

"The first time you carried me for almost two days after eventually finding me and disposing of 3 s rank nin's" he snorted, "I'd hardly say carrying you, as light as you are, from the Hokage's tower to your apartment, is making us even." What was he saying. Just accept that I don't owe her anything more. She watched him, thinking.

"You're right, I'll have to think of something else you can do for me to make up for all my hard work" she battered her eyelids at him. The places his mind dove he tried to push to the side but his gut started to warm. "Whilst I go grab dinner for us you should shower." She pushed off the counter and went to slide past him but he spoke her name.

"Ame," he warned, they were too almost touching. She looked at the distance between them and then looked directly up to him.

Ame

"You stink," she found herself smiling at him. "You can replace the bulb in the bathroom too, being as you're using my place like a hotel."

She headed to the door and grabbed her key off the side, blushing at the memory. She slid it back into her bra and looked back to the copy nin stood in her apartment. She liked the look of it.

He didn't say anything he was just watching her, she realised he must've seen her putting the key back into her bra and blushed again.

"Anything you want in particular?" he shook his head, not answering verbally.

She locked the door behind her and realised she had just assumed he was staying for food. She hit her forehead with the palm of her hand cursing herself for being so embarrassing. She also realised they hadn't finished their conversation about last night. So at least there's that.

He needed to stay so they could talk, right?

Kakashi

How had he gotten to this point?

Somewhere in the day, he must've passed out waiting for her to wake up, only to be woken by her at the beginning of the night. He shook his head after she locked the door. He definitely didn't imagine them having dinner and showering at her place. She was right though, he was filthy.

Her scent clung to the space and it made him feel almost dizzy. He had found it hard to be in such close proximity to her. Especially as she kept remembering things about last night, that scent was driving him mad. He felt animalistic even. He wanted to tare through her clothes and bend her over the counter. His member ached below his trousers. What a rough two day's it had been for it.

Kakashi picked up the bag of lightbulbs and made his way to her small bathroom. He began sifting through them trying to find the right light bulb. He paused and considered what he was actually doing. It all felt very… domestic. Is this what it feels like to be in a relationship? He wondered.

He was showering at her place. He was staying over for food. Buying her lightbulbs and changing them for her even though she was capable of doing it herself. He even stayed with her whilst she was not well. He fretted over her to the point where he was annoying himself. It was a small epiphany, but an epiphany nonetheless. He needed to redraw the boundaries. Even for himself. How had it got in so deep? He felt like he had no control over himself when she was around him.

He began screwing in the lightbulb and turned on the light in her bathroom. It was fairly tidy except for the newly washed underwear hanging over the towel he needed to use. He groaned internally. It was as if she did this by purpose, but he knew she couldn't have she was unconscious.

He picked them up like they weren't a red lacy thong and ignored how his manhood was basically crying and placed them over the sink. The next issue was that she only has a single towel. Would she mind? If she minded she wouldn't have told him to shower. Maybe he just shouldn't shower. This is ridiculous after all.

He smelled his t-shirt and almost gagged. Nope. He needed to shower, badly. He couldn't sit through dinner with this stench.

He stepped into the cramped shower and turned the dial. The water began running but he hadn't realised it was set on cold. Does she have cold showers? He turned the water up to near-boiling. He tilted his head under the cascading water, welcoming it. The shower head was set extremely low and he didn't want to change her things around. However, he couldn't stand up straight and began adjusting it.

The thought suddenly occurred to him that he is in her shower. She showers here. The images flowed through his mind and his member stood to attention. He tried to ignore it but as he rubbed her bar of soap over his body, thinking of where it had been on her body he couldn't ignore it anymore. All the scents that swirled around him intoxicated him. It smelt like her. His cock ached almost painfully. He hadn't even realised when his hand slid up and down his length. A groan escaped his lips as the tension wanted to be relieved. After last night he desperately needed the release. He braced a hand on the wall of the shower and stood under the hot water. The images of her showering, the feel of her body crushed to his, her tongue in his mouth, the taste of her, the scent of her when she's turned on when she rubs her legs together trying to fight the fact he turns her on. It wasn't long until he shot his release down the drain and his body shuddered thoroughly. His head swam with pleasure as he shook with the final post-release pumps. His hearing rang after cumming so hard and he shook his head trying to get rid of the after-effects. He stared down at his hand wondering what hers would feel like. Began to wonder what her lips would feel like wrapped around his cock. The faces she'd make, looking up to him under her lashes, the noises that would come from her tight little body.

Ugh, how did that not satiate his need even for a minute? He watched it swirl through the drain and it suddenly dawned on him that he'd just cum in her shower. He'd just cum in her shower thinking of her. He sighed and continued washing.

He grabbed the towel off the side leaning out of the shower and heard something fall and hit the floor. He cursed aloud and dried himself off before wrapping it around his waist.

He faltered when he realised where this towel would've been, and now it's wrapped around his waist.

He cursed the higher power that was torturing him so evilly, dangling her in front of him. He tried to manoeuvre around in the small bathroom but it was tough for him. He bent down to see a metal rod that had cracked at the bottom. He cursed again and picked it up. He'd have to tell her that he broke it. He looked in the mirror and saw deep purple bags under his eyes. He rubbed his face twice before turning to his clothes.

His clothes.

Could this get any worse? How had he not thought about what clothes he'd use after? Surely he can't put on dirty clothes again? He had never been like this. He'd think everything through. Not much could escape him honestly. But, when he is around Ame, he can't think straight. Not to mention the serious lack of sleep he has been inflicted with since meeting her. His stomach groaned as he stared at his clothes. He fixed his spare face mask in place, relinquishing the spoiled vest. He felt exposed but there wasn't anything he could do about it now.

Well. Nothing he can do about that now. He picked up his folded clothes in one hand and held the broken rod in the other.

He stepped out into the apartment, realising how steamy it had gotten in the bathroom when he spied Ame sitting in the chair.

"Ya," she called casually. It almost stunned him how casually she had greeted him. She was rifling through a plastic bag, removing the containers. "I've been waiting, come on I'm starving." She hadn't looked up to him yet and he suddenly grew panicked. How long had she been there?

"How long have you been back?" he asked with reservation in his tone.

"About 10 minutes not that-" she turned to him finally and her mouth fell agape, for some reason he relished in it. Her cheeks tinged red and she couldn't seem to finish her sentence.

"Yeah, I forgot about clothes." He brought the hand with the metal rod in, to scratch the back of his head.

"Yeah…" she sounded dazed and couldn't seem to make herself look up to his face. "I have some oversized t-shirts that might fit you." She rose to her feet finally looking away from his physique. She breezed past him and he found himself inhaling, watching the way she moved.

She opened the cupboards and withdrew a shirt and some v large jersey shorts. His brows narrowed. Was she giving him her ex-boyfriends clothes? Something unpleasant flared within him, he did his best to ignore.

She turned to him and chucked them over. He caught it with the hand that was holding the metal rod and her eyes fell to it wide.

"Oh yeah," he held it up showing her, after catching the spare clothes, "I'm really sorry but I think I broke this." He watched as her skin turned all the shades under the sun. She flip-flopped between grey and bright red as she stared at the rod in his hand. He gestured it out further confused.

"Kakashi," she warned as if he were wielding something extremely dangerous, he suddenly felt like he had to watch it just in case. "Put that down, and go into the kitchen" she gave clear instructions in an odd tone of voice. He was going to heed her command but found himself asking.

"What is it?" deep deep red blossomed over her pretty skin. Watching her flush did something cruel to his insides. His cock twitched back to life. He held the clothes in his other hand over his member as it grew into a semi. He silently cursed himself as he watched her.

"It's for females," she spoke slowly, considering every word.

"For females?" he repeated looking down at it. As he did the half-broken thing began vibrating in his hand and his eyes flared open. He threw it across the room nearing her. They stared at each other, their eyes couldn't grow any wider. He felt his own face burning aggressively as the vibrations sounded through the silence. She suddenly ran to pick it up and sprinted past him into the bathroom. He still hadn't got past the shock and looked at the hand that held it. He had held it so easily, waved it in front of her in fact. Mortified wasn't a strong enough word for what he felt.

He stood there for a while just staring at his hand. She eventually emerged with a face that could scare hell. She stormed right up to him and punched him in the arm. He knew it wasn't anywhere near her full power.

"I didn't know I promise," he held his hands up in innocence and her cheeks flared red again. He dropped the clothes to the floor as she banged on his chest in frustration. He caught her wrists and she struggled under his grip, trying to wiggle out of it.

"You're such an idiot" she finally looked up to him in a huff, her face screwed up into angry.

"I'm sorry, it's just as embarrassing for me you know. I waved it in front of your face." He couldn't help the smile that played on his lips. Her expression dropped and she was fighting a smile. She let out a single laugh and looked up to him.

He suddenly realised how close they were, and he wore only the towel around his hips, and he had his hands around her wrists.

As if her thoughts changed when his did, her eyes hungrily ran down his torso, devouring him with her eyes. Her hand twitched in his grip and he could feel his member coming out to play. He couldn't seem to look away from her though. The feeling in his gut coiled and warmed. His heart began to beat louder and faster underneath his pecks.

She dragged her heavy gaze to him.

"Kakashi," she almost moaned his name, and the things it did to him weren't able to be described. It's official. This woman had corrupted him completely.

"Close your eyes, Ame," he breathed as he leant down to her slowly. Her heavy eyes followed his movements. He didn't release her wrists as she closed her eyes. He pulled her hands to his face.

"Take it off me" he whispered to her. He felt her hands trembled in his hands as she lowered the mask. He watched as she squeezed her eyes shut. He positioned his face directly in front of hers and her breath fanned across his face causing his cock to ache for her. It stood tall under her towel.

He leant down and dragged his mouth over hers, opening, letting his tongue escape, tasting the lips he craved. She inhaled sharply before meeting his lips hungrily. She met his tongue and they swirled around each other, sending electricity through him. He swallowed a moan that escaped from her and he brought her hands to rest on his chest, and covering them with his own hands. His heart raced harder at the feel of her hands on his bare chest. His skin sang sending a shudder through him. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him, picking her up off her feet to meet his height. It was effortless for him. Her chest pressed against his bare skin causing his arousal to throb. She moaned as he lifted her and he squeezed her tighter to him. Drinking in the sounds she was making. The taste of her was corrupting him. They kissed deeply and lazily in the middle of her room. He ran his tongue loosely across her swollen lips and brought her down to rest slight on one of his knees, supporting her weight a little.

He could smell her arousal and knew he wouldn't be able to stop.

"Stop me," he exhaled between sloppy slow kisses. He moved his knee between her legs coaxing one of her delicious moans. He suddenly needed to hear her scream his name. She wanted to make her scream for him over and over again.

She didn't reply. He felt delirious with need but needed to know it was ok to go further. Her hands raked down his chest causing him to groan lowly, savouring the feeling of her.

"Don't" she uttered breathlessly, "Don't stop" she crushed her lips to his as if she needed him to breathe. He returned the kiss deeply, his mind growing hazier. He moved again between her legs and she freely groaned out between them. He couldn't do this much more. He needed to see her with her eyes open. Needed to watch her face contort with pleasure.

He placed her down to her feet, and she held onto his arms as her legs wobbled.

"Ame," he breathed down to her, halting their fevered exchange, "open your eyes."

Ame

"Ame," she was unable to control her own body at this point. His breath flew over her face, intoxicating her further. Her legs wobbled where the sensation of his leg burned between her legs. She felt feverish with desire and couldn't think straight. "Open your eyes,"

Normally her eyes would go wide at the words but she clenched her eyes harder. He had cupped her face and his thumb stroked over her tensed eyes. His full lips kiss each closed eye, lingering. She couldn't fight the shudder that ran through her. Her core coiled and tightened, begging for release.

"Please," he murmured near her ear. Warm swelled in her gut.

She began to prise her eyes open slowly. His sweet breath continued to flow over her face. Her eyes met his, they were heavy and dark. She forced herself to look at the rest of his face, dragging her eyes down. She felt all the breath leave her body. He was devastatingly beautiful. He was undeniably, truly perfect. His full lips, his straight narrow nose, his jawline, the perfect beauty mark near his lip. She felt herself tremble under his gaze. She knew she was in trouble now.

One of her hands reached up, dragging her fingertips softly down his face, not breaking the contract.

"Kakashi," she whispered. "You're beautiful." She spoke quietly, breathlessly. Her mouth parted and he kissed her. He kissed her and the world stop turning, time seemed to be redundant. His jaw quivered against her lips and she felt like she needed to moan his name over and over again and they were only kissing. She had never been this turned on in her life. Ever.

"Taichou," she breathed accidentally as his hands descended down her body. His hands faltered for a moment and she opened her eyes to meet his dark gaze. She watched as he pealed his Sharingan open. He pressed wet kisses to her neck, trailing down and along her collar bone. He grazed his teeth against the skin of her shoulder and she shivered.

"Taichou" she found herself calling for her captain again, she didn't have control over herself. She watched his heavily lidded eyes flash and something nervous shot through her chest only adding to her desire.

"You shouldn't call me that when we're alone like this, Ame." He pulled her t-shirt back over her shoulder as he dragged his tongue up her neck to her ear. "Do you know what you do to me, Akari?" How he spoke her name had her legs wobbling and her core crying out for his tongue.

"Taichou," it barely escaped her lips but before she knew it he'd pinned her against the wall behind the. She moaned as her back hit the coldness. His body crushed against hers and his mouth latched onto her mouth. His tongue greedily danced with hers. She breathed his title under her breath again. His hands were over her. He gripped her anbu shirt between their feverish pressed bodies and ripped it of her cleanly. He swallowed the cry she let out as his hands slid underneath her bra. She unhooked it in the back and threw it off before her hands returned to his back. His muscles rippled under her touch.

He broke the kisses and looked into her eyes with the same lust-filled stare. His Sharingan swirled and she flinched.

"Don't be afraid" he pressed a soft kiss to her naked collarbone. "I never want to forget this" he breathed. She found herself panting. She rubbed her core along his abdominals trying to relieve some of the tension causing them to moan together. Her hands found his torso feeling every inch of his feverish body. Her head grew fuzzy and he looked at her again and looked down at her chest. He looked up to her as if he were asking permission and she nodded.

His calloused hand lifted one of her tender heavy breasts up to his mouth. Her gut warmed with anticipation before he took her nipple into his mouth. Her back arched off the wall into him. Her legs tighten around him.

"Taichou" she called loudly and he sucked and swirled at her stiff peak, he massaged her aching breasts as she cried out. The sensation halted as he dragged kisses between her chest.

"Again." He demanded. She didn't respond straight away and he dragged her other nipple into his mouth causing her to cry out his title.

"Again, Akari" he commanded her.

"Taichou," she panted and he crushed his mouth against hers. They met sloppily and hungrily, dragging their tongues across each others. He took all her weight in his arms and hoisted her off the wall. She wrapped herself around him wholly and never parted with his lips.

He expertly brought them down to the futon and held himself above her.

"Stop me, Ame" she took the opportunity to take in his face again. The rawness of his words hit her then. His face was so expressive. His eyes shone with something like fear. She brought her hand to his face and cupped it lightly.

"But, I want you," she let her desire be known. Need dripped off her words. It seemed like the only thing he needed to hear as he trailed kissed down her full chest, and down over her stomach heading south.

The feel of his tongue running over her stomach made her see stars. Her hands found his silver hair and intertwined with the locks. He looked up to her over his lashes, asking for permission to go further and she answered by pushing his head down. A soft laugh blew over her wetted skin coaxing a whimper.

He made quick work of pealing her trousers off of her. He knelt between her legs taking in the sight of her. She felt exposed, but she just didn't care at that moment. Watching him kneel between her drove her crazy. She couldn't fathom how someone could ever look the way he did. She let her eyes roam his built figure, drinking in the sight of him.

"You're beautiful, Ame" the sincerity in his words shook her. He lowered himself between her and hooked his arm around her thigh. Her back threatened to arch of the futon just with that sensation.

He ran his tongue against the insides of her thighs, sucking and nipping calling her to whimper at his mercy. He savoured her completely. She wanted him to devour her whole.

"Please" she moaned out, not being able to take anymore.

"I want to hear you scream for me, Akari," he purred her true name as his mouth made contact with her core. The vibration of his low voice was almost enough to trigger her release alone.

He slid his tongue slowly up her parting. His tongue was hot and relaxed, flattening as it reached the coil that so desperately needed attention. Her fingers found his hair again and she met his devastating gaze over her. Her body sang and she lost sense of the world.

"Tell me you want me" his breath floated over her wetness causing her to shiver.

"Yes," she cried as he ran his tongue through her too quickly.

"Say that you like me," he demanded. She didn't falter. Her mind was too far gone to consider what he was saying. He could ask her anything right now and only the truth would come out.

"Kashi…" she whimpered as he held off from her. She wriggled under him. "I like you, Kakashi" he slid his tongue through her folds, savouring her, and sliding upwards. "I want you," she whimpered, tightening her hands in his hair. He sucked gently at her coiling bud she was so close, she almost didn't want to cum. She wanted to make this last forever if she could.

"Oh god," she whimpered,

"Call me by my name" he commanded as he teased her with his expert tongue, swirling around the area she needed him to release.

"Kakashi," she panted weakly, her eyes began to quiver as the release built.

"You wanna know what heaven is, baby?"

She moaned loudly in reply as he flattened his tongue against her clit.

"Cum for me, Ame, I'll take you there."

And she did. She came hard. So hard that her vision faltered and every inch of her inside and out spasmed. Hearing was a thing of the past as a tsunami of pleasure crashed over her.

Kakashi held her legs drinking her, as she came for him. She didn't see it but something changed in him as he watched her come undone for him.

As she calmed, he rose above her, holding himself up on his elbows on either side of her. She missed the feel of his mouth on her core, but as she came to, she managed to lift her head to his. He dragged his lips, wet with her, across her mouth. The taste of her on him woke her back up. Their kisses grew hungrily and he crushed his mouth to hers. Their tongues seemed to fight against one another for control. She was desperate for him. He pulled away panting and one of his hands cupped her face.

He was so beautiful.

"I want you, Kashi" she whispered through her heavily lidded eyes. His eyes shone for her. His Sharingan swirled again as she spoke. He positioned himself at her entrance. The warmth of his cock sent shudders through her. He didn't take his eyes off her.

"You already have me, Akari," he slid himself into her wet entrance and she moaned in pleasure. She could barely keep her eyes open at the satisfaction of her fullness. The size of him pushed at her walls, and her back arched slightly off the futon. His own groan was like thick honey in her ear as he lowered himself covering her body with his. The warmth of his skin was adding to the tightening of her core again. She felt like she could cum again already.

Her nails raked down his back and he shuddered again, groaning in her ear. She knew that was going to be her most favourite noise. He pulled out nearly all the way, leaving just his tip stretching her entrance. He looked at her again waiting for her eyes to prise apart.

"I'm yours," as he slammed his full length back into her. His name as cried from her lips. She was floating high and the sounds he made were her ecstasy. He slid in and out of her over and over again. Harder and harder as her nails dug deeper and deeper.

Her mind went fuzzy and she couldn't be 100% sure what happened after that. His name escaped her lips over and over until her voice rasped. Her tongue dragged across his torso, the taste of Kakashi and salt made her shudder further. Her core was tightening until the point of release.

"Kashi," she panted weakly, "I'm going to-" his mouth sucked harshly at her neck causing her to come undone. She came just as powerfully as before, shuddering, releasing, the pleasure sending her to heaven, as he promised. As the world slipped away from her the full weight of Kakashi fell on her. He heard her name come from his lips in the height of it.

As she slipped back down she realised Kakashi lay on her as she was drawing lazy circles on his back. She cracked her eyes open to see him watching her through tired and content eyes. A lazy smile stretched at his full lips and she felt her cheeks redden. She didn't think she could ever tire of seeing his face, or of him. All of it.

He closed the distance between them and pressed an achingly tender kiss to her mouth. She felt her jaw quiver as the rest of her bones had turned to jelly. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been so satisfied by a man. She soon realised she'd never felt this way before. She didn't think about it. Tiredness pulled at her eyes. She was wholly content as Kakashi lay next to her on the single person futon. He dragged the covers over them and lay on his side, pulling her towards him. Her cheek found his chest and decided it was the comfiest thing she'd ever lay on.

It wasn't long until they fell asleep just like that. The food was left on the kitchen table, forgotten.
