I was working along side Abby with the injured from mount weather in the medical department when my girlfriend asked to talk to me.
"I'm kinda busy so if it isn't important..." I started before she cut me of.
"I adopted a kid for us!" She said with excitement.
"What?! What do you mean you adopta kid?"
"I found this little girl who survived in mount weather, I think one of her parents must have been a grounder for that to be possible or maybe she got..."
"Raven?!"
"Oh sorry, babe meet Alexi, our new kid" I was so confused and stressed that I hadn't noticed the kid standing slightly behind Ravens leg.
"You're kidding me?" I say looking at Raven who looked down at Alexi. I sighed at my girlfriends irresponsible but yet sweet gesture. "Hi Alexi, I'm (y/n)"
"Did you really save my new mother when she came to the ground?" Alexi asked and I looked at Raven with a smile of happiness non the less ridiculousness.
"Yes, but she saved me too one time" I answered the young girl in front of me. She looked at Raven then back at me before walking forward and hugging me, almost making me fall to the ground from the unprepared pressure of her tiny body.
"I'll call you mommy"
"Okey let's leave mommy alone so she can continue to work with the sick" Raven said taking Alexi's hand a walking towards the mechanic room. Before she was completely out of my sight she turned around and reached out her tongue at me, I didn't the same before going back inside still shocked at what just took place in front of me.
"Oh good (y/n) your back!" Abby said as I got inside medical again."What did Raven say?"
"We have a kid now" I said sitting down on a wooden chair in the back of the department before laughing. Abby stoped whatever she was doing and walked up to me and put her hands on my legs.
"What do you mean"
"I'm not even sure but there was a survivor from mount weather and now I'm a mommy" I tried to say without laughing at the situation.
"Well congratulations then mother" Abby said and hugged me before ordering me to get back to work.

"Raven! We need to talk" I say walking in to our shared room after we finally finished helping the wounded.
"Hey Alexi can you find a girl named Clarke and tell her Abby wants to see her" The girl nodded yes and ran outside, leaving me alone with the mechanic.
"Don't be mad baby" She pleaded.
"I'm not mad, I was at first but I realized I would have done the same"
"This is why I love you! You understand I couldn't leave her there"
"She needed a home" I said walking up to my girlfriend kissing her gently, she cupped my face and kissed me back passionately before Alexi came back.
"Usch" We all started laughing as she joined us in a hug. A family hug.
