In a makeshift log cabin deep in the woods, completely hidden from society and the rest of the world, lives the only boy to ever exist, Asta. When Asta first showed up outside the church alongside another child named Yuno, who was, as normal, Female. The church, which only included Sister Lily at the time, had to leave the small village they were settled in, knowing for a fact someone would eventually catch wind that a male had been born and come to take him and maybe even kill him or do awful things to him, they fled to the woods in the distance knowing not many people go there and that it was near out of reach for society, now both Asta and Yuno are now fifteen soon to turn sixteen and are willing and ready to take the Magic Knights entrance exam...

Wilhelmina shouted as she simultaneously activated one of her world tree magic spells to pass all examinees a broom, "Your first test is to fly up, If you can't even use the simplest magic there is no way you can become a magic knight!" She shouted again, Asta tried his best to use magic but like always, he couldn't use any at all whereas Yuno managed to fly sky high on her broom showing her calm and controlled magic in all of it's glory

As they arrived at their base they could hear massive explosions coming through the walls and windows, "What's going on in there?" Fina explained as she opened another portal into the base, knowing that they would probably get caught in the cross fire of the two had they entered through the front door
"SHUT UP!" Yami shouted at the top of her lungs as they entered through the portal making all of the members of the squad immediately line up in front of her, with Fina also joining the line, "May as well introduce everyone... this is Fina you already met her, this is Vanessa, Magna, Lucy, Grey, Charmy, and Secre all in order, Guys these three are Yuno, Noelle and..." Yami stated pointing all of the already existing members out and then introducing the new members, "his name's Asta-" Yuno said before immediately realizing she'd screwed up, "Knew it..."
