It had been 3 years since the Segora fight. The entire time I've been at Milim's domain. Every day has been me sparring against Milim and then learning/practicing magic. Turns out the white mist was actually a new skill. It seems that when I got a skeleton like and powered up, that was an evolution of sorts. So, now I have a bunch of new unique skills. Including one that I've wanted from the beginning. Predator. Except it's an evolved version called Gluttony. Many things occur during the process of gluttony including:

1) Predation

a) It absorbs the target. If target is conscious, success rate is lower. Because it's Gluttony, it now has a range of ten meters.

2) Stomach

a) The target can be stored. Items produced via Analysis can also be stored. There is no storage limit.

3) Mimicry

a) Replicate the targets appearance. The skills and abilities used by target can also be used. However, this depends on the successful analysis and acquisition of relative information about the target. In case of evolution of someone from the user's offspring, the evolution carries over as well, possibly even giving the user the ability to mimic a higher evolution stage than that which the member of the offspring evolved into.

4) Isolation

a) Materials harmful or unnecessary for analysis can also be stored. They will be used to replace magic energy.

5) Rot

a) Decomposes target if organic. If monsters are absorbed this way, the user gains their abilities. This is part of predation.

6) Receive

a) Gain the ability to obtain skills from those under the users influence. The original owner of the received will not lose the skill.

7) Provide

a) Grants part of the user's abilities to those under the user's influence or linked to the user's soul. It can only provide skills that the target is compatible with.

That's Gluttony for you. It's an extremely strong skill. Along with Gluttony, I also gained the skills Shadow motion, Spatial motion, Steel Strength, Strengthen Body, Ultra speed regeneration, Replication, and a weird one that only milim seemed to know about. It was called Demon Lord's Haki. Milim seemed jealous about it, which I didn't understand why. It was an ability that enhances the user's aura. It causes fear and can cause instant death to those who can't resist it. By using Gluttony (Mostly using Receive) I was able to gain the skills Creator and Formhide. Using Creator and my immense amount of magicules I was able to make the Unique skill Delayed Sight. This makes the target's reaction time slower and can be used to make it seem like I did one thing when I did another. An example would be if I was on a stealth mission and needed to sneak past a guard, I'd start walking on a path easy to see by the guard, then use Delayed Sight, jump back to where I was before and go a different direction. The guard would have the delayed reaction, so they wouldn't see me jump back, and would be stuck searching where he last saw me.

After gaining those skills I decided that since Milim's military power consisted of just me and Milim, I would start training some soldiers. After a few months passed, I had a good group of soldiers. Who am I kidding...? Only one of them tries and that's because their scared of me. I sighed with disappointment.

"If you don't to train with me and become a good military, then go home." I ordered. "Also, if you fear me and that's why you're staying, don't. Go home unless you actually want to train with me."

All of them left. I then went to stand in the watch tower that I constructed. Most things surprisingly, were made by me. That doesn't stop almost all of Milim's people's distrust in me. They still consider me an outsider after all this time. Many hours passed, and the sun fell behind the nearby forest. I walked throughout the city I built.

Before I came here every house was more like a shack. Straw roofs, all wooden. These houses were not befitting for what a great place this was. So, whenever I had off time, I'd travel to Dwargon city and grab a ton of supplies to build. Money was easy because I got a nice allowance from Milim, which is weird to me because Milim seems too childish to be able to handle someone else's allowance, but she manages. Building the city was a lot of fun but as soon as I was done, boredom struck again.

"Honored guest! Honored guest!" Someone exclaimed.

Honored guest. That's all I was to them.

"...needs your help! Very strong monsters are attacking." They were saying.

That got my attention. Using magic sense, I was able to locate Milim and shadow travel to her.

Fwooooooom. Part of the wall fell down.

"MY WALL!" I cried. "Oh, that does it. I spent almost an entire year to make that wall and you just break with a stray blast. Do you have any decency?"

Milim pouted and flew down to me.

"Sorry. I was tryna kill the monsters." She explained.

"No, you're just toying with them." I said, also activating Demon lord's Haki.

"Ooh, lucky me. At least half of them died from fright." I marveled.

I jumped down, drawing my swords. Swinging my blades in such a way that none of the monsters could touch me. I threw wind magic into the fight and now I was a whirlwind of blades. I then activated Steel Strength and Strengthen Body, so I was probably the most obviously dangerous thing they've seen. In seconds, they were all dead.

I immediately got to work rebuilding my wall, but then I stopped. If they were able to break it down, then I should reinforce it. I started walking through the city, looking for a certain skill. I wanted some different kinds of barriers. One to suppress the magic of those who are an outsider, and one for pure physical defense. Once I found the people I needed, I used Gluttony to receive their skills. I then erected both barriers immediately. About 30% of the people in the barrier collapsed before I was able to set it to allow them to use magic perfectly fine. We now had amazing protection against attacks.

So, I started analyzing the Physical barrier. Using creator, I made a smaller verion of it that when used, put up a 4-meter by 4-meter wall. They also required little to no magicules to make, and only disappeared if the original user wants them to, or they break. Speaking breaking, they have about half the strength of the original skill, so that makes them incredibly touch. I began putting them on the inside of the walls. Making sure to layer them. It took a while but when I was done, I knew that everyone would be safe. I went to bed with happy dreams.

I was awoken by Milim in the middle of the night. We rushed to get our supplies ready, and we teleported to meet with other Demon Lords. They allowed me to come only because my strength was that of a Demon Lord. This was my first-time meeting all the Demon Lords together. Their presence was making me weak.

"...you failed Milim. That crazy bastard what's-his-name is still alive." growled Kairon, the beast king.

"What!?" I exclaimed. "How could Segora still be alive? I saw him fall into that void. I only got out thanks to Milim."

"Well unlucky for you, that void was his master." Kairon explained. "We don't know his name, but just know that he doesn't have a physical body. He can only use magic and his body is sustained by magic. Segora has gotten stronger, but luckily that's because he took the time after his defeat to train. Also, he didn't get a massive strength boost like you did. So all his strength is only from training. Since you two failed at killing him, we have agreed that Milim must lower her max strength down to 2%. So, it'll mostly be on you. Got it Kieran?"

I was starting to get hopeful that maybe I could beat him. I drew one of my swords and stabbed the ground.

"I'll come and retrieve this sword when victory is mine. No one is to touch it, even if I die." I spoke. I then placed a spell that will burn the hand of any who try to grab it. I strode out the door and teleported to the cavern where I defeated Segora. I knew that the other Demon Lords were probably watching my progress. I found a trace of magic and followed. When I arrived, Milim was already there. I asked how she got there so fast, and she replied with.

"Because I followed the trace a while ago to see if he was still alive but knew that if you thought that I thought that Segora was still alive, you'd go crazy."

She was right. I'm already go insane with worry and doubt. What if his master gave him a strength boost? I was seizing up; my aura was becoming unstable. Milim walked past me and then my world faded to black.

I woke up and I was in a horse drawn wagon. Milim was resting next to me. I had washcloths on my forehead, arms, and legs. When Milim woke she seemed surprised to see me awake. Turns out I'm experiencing something called magicule sickness. Turns out my body wasn't physically ready for the amount of magicules that were in that room. I didn't know what magicule sickness was, so I was just going to roll with it. We kept following the trail, eventually leading us to the Holy Ruberian Empire. This was place was filled with churches and priests. But there was something scary about. As we got closer to the border, I was beginning to get an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I walked past the border perfectly fine but as soon as Milim tried to walk in she got thrown back. Energy rippled at the border, and the barrier came into view. Milim growled in frustration.

"This is the empire's specialty. Getting rid of monsters and those they deem an enemy of the church."

"Is there some sort of magic you can use to get through?" I asked.

"No, this targets those who's makeup is more magicule and organic material." Milim explained. "Because I'm a demon lord and part dragon, I'm probably the least likely person to get in."

"Wait your part dragon?" I asked.

She ignored me.

"I'll have to wait out here. You go on and look for the rest of the trail." she continued.

"ok" I replied. I headed into the city, making sure to have my aura locked up tight. Following the trail was easy. Making sure I didn't look suspicious was the hard part. Finally, I found where the trail picked up, so I followed it and it led out of the border. I teleported to Milim, and brought her to where the trail picked up. We continued onward, and eventually found where the trail ended. It was at a cave, in the middle of the forest, with big wooden doors. We walked in and scouted out the area. We eventually got to an area that a big collection of magicules. We turned the corner and there he was. Segora. He was there chanting something, and I saw ripples appear on a magic barrier around a large mass of... something. I leaned forward to get a closer look and jumped back in fright. It was a massive dragon! Milim peered around the corner and saw the dragon too.

"That's Veldora the storm dragon." She said in a hushed whisper. "I think they're trying to release him. He was put there by a hero a while back. Almost about 3 years before we met."

I looked at what they were doing and saw Segora stab the barrier. Veldora didn't seem to care, he was just... was he pouting? He had his back turned to Segora and his lackeys.

I silently drew my swords, made a few doubles, then put my plan into action. I charged Segora and slashed through all his guards. He turned just in time to flick me away, causing tremors to go throughout the cave. I charged again, except this time, one of my doubles dropped from the ceiling in a downward strike. Segora dodged and engaged in combat with us. It was one blade against four. He ducked under a swing and kicked me in my shoulder. I took that kick as in opportunity to whirl around and kick gravel into his face. Then a second double charged from behind Segora and stabbed him in behind his shoulder. Segora kicked upward and my clone got thrown into the barrier, where he got vaporized immediately. Segora summoned a great amount of magicules and blasted us back with a loud yell. He turned again and drove his sword into the barrier again. I was struggling to get up, as my body was still feeling the shock from his shout. Suddenly, Milim charged Segora with a super charged fist. It was filled with energy, and it would do some serious damage to Segora. Except he dodged, and she hit the barrier. The barrier shattered. This seemed to get Veldora's attention, as he turned around. He took a tentative step forward, then he rushed at us with unbelievable speed. He flew right out of the cave and headed straight for the nearest city. I wanted to follow, but Segora needed to be delt with. I charged up to full power, which caused the skeletal mask to cover my face. Segora sneered and a skeletal mask covered his face too.

"It's too late Kieran." He called out. "That dragon is going to wreak havoc upon all the kingdoms and cities. There'll be no more rulers, kings, or queens. All will be free to do whatever. You know if our king wasn't such a corrupt bastard then we'd probably would still be training with teacher and having fun with magic."

He's trying to get me to join him. That won't happen.

"Just join me Kieran."

Bingo.

"Sorry Segora." I replied. "My answer's final, I will not let you kill innocent people to get what you want. That includes all the Kings and Queens that have ruled their kingdoms perfectly fine. I will stop you at every turn, which sadly for you, means today will be your final attempt."

I made two more clones and we all charged him. Segora now had to fight against 20 blades. I thought that he would be finished pretty quickly, but he was holding his own. I knew he would eventually tire, so when I had the chance, I backed up next to Milim. I sheathed my sword and told her my plan. We turned towards Segora and raised our hands. We then started an assault against Segora using energy blasts. We also both activated Demon Lord's Haki, which because of our immense combined aura, caused parts of the cave to collapse. About half an hour passed and he finally collapsed. I walked over to him and stared at his face. His mask had fallen off quite some time ago. I saw no remorse in his eyes. No sign of guilt or shame. So I drove my sword straight through his heart. A giant blast of blue energy launched me back. Milim checked his pulse, shook her head, so I knew he was dead.

"We still have a job to do." Milim prompted.

I started to get up but immediately collapsed. My strength had left me, and my body felt hot. Magicule sickness was really kicking in now. I tried to get up and was successful this time. I grabbed Milim's hand and teleported to the kingdom I knew all too well. We arrived in the midst of chaos. People were running around in a panic. Falmuth was under attack by Veldora. I scaled the nearest building a launched myself onto the dragon. Milim flew up to me and landed on the dragons back as well.

"Where does the hero live!?" I shouted.

"Towards the eastern empire!" She yelled back.

I stabbed hard down into the dragon and pulled to the right. Veldora roared in anger but turned none the less. We arrived at the eastern empire where Veldora took this as an opportunity to throw us off his back and continue his rampage. Both Milim and I waited and waited. When eventually we saw a flash of light, and a figure jump towards Veldora with a flaming blade. I started to run towards the fight to help but couldn't because I was racked with pain from the Magicule sickness. I pushed on, my entire body felt like it was on fire, so I activated strengthen body and steel strength. I knew ultra-speed regeneration was working on fixing the sickness, but not fast enough. I kept going and managed to get to where the hero was smacked down by Veldora. She stood up and was about to charge again when I stopped her. I then started giving an insane amount of magicules to her, while also analyzing her skills. I saw a skill was curious about, so I asked her about it. The skill was Unlimited Imprisonment and was basically an extremely overpowered barrier. I told her that with the amount of magicules I was giving her, she'd be able to easily capture the dragon. We just need to bring the dragon back to the cave.

I then charged the dragon. Mili flew overhead, grabbed my hand and threw me onto the dragon. I stabbed him again and steered him back towards his cave. We were on a steady pace but when Veldora saw the cave he jerked to the right towards Falmuth. Now instead of being able to relax, I now had to pull hard to the left to keep him on the path towards his cave. H flew right in and went straight to where we wanted to trap him. I jumped off right as he got to the big hole. He turned around and blew flames at me, but I was fine because the hero just redirected the flames away. She then used Unlimited Imprisonment and Veldora was now stuck in his cave once again. I felt better thanks to the fact that I gave so much of my magicules to the hero. The hero immediately returned to her home, while me and Milim relaxed outside the cave. We were just about to go back to the Demon Lord's when a massive army of easily over 20,000 soldiers approached. One stepped forward and yelled in a defiant voice.

"You killed our master, now we shall get our revenge."

I stood up, feeling refreshed and ready for a fight. I charged to full power and went all out. About a hundred went down after the first attack. I continued on, leaving a trail of dead bodies. I then made 19 doubles and abused my Delayed Sight skill. They couldn't keep up at all. 30 minutes later, 20,000 corpses littered the ground. Milim seemed shocked by my strength. I then collapsed and passed out.

"Notice. New skill Great Sage achieved. Notice. Enough souls have been claimed. Evolve into a Demon Lord?

"Yes" I replied.

Notice. Commencing the harvest festival. Notice. Skill Great Sage would like to evolve. Commencing evolution. Failure. Commencing Evolution. Failure. Sacrifice Skill Demon Lords Haki?

"Yes." I answered.

"Commencing evolution. Success. Great Sage has evolved into Raphael. Notice. New skill Body Armor achieved. Notice. Skill magic sense would like to evolve. Commencing Evolution. Success. Magic Sense has evolved into Heavengaze. Notice. New skill Ultimate Skill User achieved. Notice. New skill Demon Lord's Haki achieved. Notice. New skill Shadow Striker achieved.

Then there was silence. I heard nothing. Not from the voice in my head. Not from Milim. I was all alone. It felt like forever, but I finally awoke. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Milim was gone. I stood up and started wondering around. I felt taller, even though I had already hit all my growth spurts. My eyesight was enhanced. I tripped over myself and fell into a tree. I punched the tree in anger, which caused the tree to fall. I was stronger. I teleported to the Demon Lords meeting place. I walked right into through the doors, where I saw a remarkable sight. Milim was... crying.

"...He just collapsed." She was saying. "He fell over, and I felt his heart stop. I couldn't do anything. I finally got a friend again and he died, just like my first."

"Don't write me off that easily." I said, surprised by how my voice changed. It was a bit deeper, but mainly a lot smoother. Milim whirled around, with shock on her face. That shock immediately turned to rage as she then punched me right in the gut. I didn't move at all. She backed up and looked at me and saw how I changed.

"Your different." She spoke. "What happened?"

"He evolved, that's what happened." Said Cairon. "He's finally joined us. He's now a True Demon Lord.
