Here's another commission for my dear friend, Park Ryder. ^^

It's a sequel to her story, Gemini Frame-Up, where it starts off after the ending and how it affected her OC, Liz.

Enjoy!

I don't own Hazbin Hotel or the characters.

I don't own Liz or Sonya. They belong to Park Ryder.

It was very late one evening when Angel Dust awoke and sat up in his bed.

"Mmm..." he smacked his lips, "Man do I need a drink." He felt a nudge at his side and saw Fat Nuggets looking at him with his little eyes, "Aww you hungry too, baby? Come on, Nuggies, let's go to the kitchen and get us some num-nums."

He scooped up the piglet in his arms and walked quietly once he stepped out of his room. Thankfully he didn't disturb the other residents as he made his way to the stairs and kept his hand steady on the rails; despite how tired he was, he didn't want to risk tripping and hurt himself or his precious pig.

As Angel placed his hand on the kitchen door, he swore he could hear the sound of someone weeping. Being very quiet, he slowly creaked the door open and peeked inside.

"Huh?"

At the kitchen table, he sees Liz eating some cookies while tears were streaming down her face. Angel had known the cousin of Hell for a while and knows how wild and fearless Liz, the other half of Sonya, can be but he can't recall ever seeing her cry before.

Taking a deep breath, he slowly approached her and placed a hand on her back, causing her to look up.

"Hey kid." He said softly, "What's with the waterworks?"

Feeling embarrassed Angel saw her this was, Liz frantically tried to rub the tears off her face.

"I'm fine!" She lied, "My eyes just sprung a leak!"

"Sure they did." Angel sat down and held his piggy in his lap, "Now you wanna tell me what's really bothering you or do I need to get princess down here?"

"No!" Liz said out loud but then whispered, "No I don't want to get Charlie involved. I don't wanna trouble her about it."

"Then why not tell me?" Angel said as he petted Fat Nuggets back, "Whenever Gina visits and she's upset about something, she and I always talk about it. Usually it helps cheer her up, along with a snack."

He stands up again and gets himself a glass of milk along with a baby bottle for Fat Nuggets before he sat back down again.

Liz gave a deep sigh as she handed him some cookies, "Okay fine. I was thinking about my stupid cousins again."

"Oh you mean those stuck up assholes from the party?"

"Mm-hm." She nodded and held her head up with one hand, "I can't help but think about what they said about me...you know, all that stuff about me being a black sheep of the family, that I always cause my parents grief, and make Charlie look bad. Not to mention I make Sonya's life harder than it should be and I'm supposed to be her twin sister! I mean, I didn't ask for this and yet it happened!"

Liz ran a hand over her face in frustration as tears burned in her eyes again. Angel looked at her sadly as his little piglet was finished with his bottle; after giving the pig a burp and gently setting him down on the ground, Angel rubbed Liz's back very soothingly.

"Hey hey, don't let it get to ya." He said to comfort her, "There' nothing wrong with you, and you're awesome the way you are. And if it makes you feel any better...I know exactly how you feel."

"You do?" Liz looked up, "What do you mean?"

Angel gave deep sigh before he explained, "Well, being a child of a mob family, being a gay pornstar and all doesn't get you any praise or nothing. My pops hated me, my brother didn't talk to me much, and my sister was the only one who supported my decisions after my mom died."

Angel ran a hand through his own hair and avoided tearing up cause whenever he discussed his past, it was like trying to swallow a large pill: very hard to swallow. But he kept his composure for his friend right next to him.

"Oh Angel, I had no idea. I'm so sorry." Liz apologized softly.

"Eh it's fine." He shrugged, "Just because my family doesn't like it doesn't mean I'm gonna quit anytime soon. If I'm gonna be a black sheep, I'm gonna do it my way."

"You make it sound so easy."

"Don't let it get to you." He gave a smirk, "You don't need those puny dick pricks to tell you who or what you are. You're the toughest gal I know besides Cherri and who else do you know shares the same body with another girl, is Charlie's cousin, knows voodoo, and can kick ass all in one package?"

Liz thought to herself for a moment and realized her friend was right. Even if her cousins don't like her, she still has Sonya, Charlie & her parents, their own parents, and all the friends they made ever since they first came to the hotel.

"I guess you're right, Angel." Liz gave a smile.

"See?" Angel ruffles her hair playfully, "You should embrace your status cause that means you have the freedom to be whoever you want and no one else can change that. Not even you're bitchy cousins."

"Thanks Angel. Guess I needed a pep talk."

"Anytime kiddo, anytime."

The two talked a bit more and had a few more snacks before Liz started to get tired and slumped in her chair, dozing on and off. Figuring it was very late by now and needed her sleep, Angel picked up Fat Nuggets before turning his attention back to the girl.

"Come on, pumpkin. Daddy needs to get both of you to bed." He cooed his little piggy.

Using two of his free hands, Angel scooped up Liz with his second pair of arms while holding Fat Nuggets with the first two. He climbed up the stairs very carefully and made his way to the room here Liz and Sonya usually stay wherever they visit.

Before heading back to his room, Angel tucked in Liz and made sure she was comfortable; he pets her hair and smiled before leaving the room.

Back in his room, Angel tucked Fat Nuggets and laid down before falling asleep; he smiled knowing he helped his friend cheer up.

(The End)
