One Piece Emperors New Clothes

Upon being let out of the mirror into the cottage that Sanji was in, Luffy immediately dodged the first stab attempt. Sanji's bride, a young girl probably no older than Shirahoshi (she'd be Cryhoshi again later when he saw her and saw her crying but he knew she'd be happy this time. She'd be happy crying and that was much different than the scared sad crying she had done…she would always be his Cryhoshi though.), was crying from all three of her eyes even as she tried to kill them with a smile on her face.

Luffy grabbed the knife in her hand and the pistol she was holding in her other hand and broke both of them without even activating his Haki. The knife cut and stung his palm a little but it was little more than a scratch to him.

There was no joy or any other emotion on Luffy's face as Nami and Brulee peered out of the mirror behind him, one hand from Brulee extended and the woman looked like she wanted to rush from the mirror and grab her sister as well, and Luffy stared down his Cooks bride.

"You-You can't t-"

"Are you going to hurt him?" Luffy asked not even glancing yet at Sanji, Sanji who was sleeping on the bed with a frown on his face and who looked so heartbroken and upset even in his sleep.

The girl, Luffy didn't even know her name but he'd probably learn it later. For now though she was just the three eyed girl (and three eyes? That was so cool but no now wasn't the time for that.) that had married his cook. Had her freedom stolen from her just like Sanji's was.

The girl drew up short and stared at him silently for a long moment before she slowly shook her head in the negative. No she wouldn't hurt his cook, he could tell she wouldn't.

Luffy just kept staring at her though, his eyes carrying dozens of words that he couldn't vocalize at the moment. Carrying the questions and worry he had but couldn't ask at the moment.

The girls eyes teared up again, but this time she was smiling and she nodded.

"For as long as I live." The girl said quietly and it probably didn't make sense to Nami or Brulee who were quietly behind Luffy and didn't see the look on his face or in his eyes but Luffy nodded once and that was more than enough for Nami to know that this girl wasn't a threat. That she was Nakama now. One of them.

"Good. Welcome to the crew." Luffy said patting the top of her head and she looked surprised and shocked at how he accepted her so easily and without hesitation. But Luffy didn't pay much attention to how Brulee left the mirror to comfort her sobbing sister who had been accepted without any second thoughts.

No he was focused on the sleeping figure of his Cook on the bed. Stepping up to the bed beside his Cook, Luffy reached out and smoothed down Sanji's bangs a bit. The heartbroken and sad look on his Cooks face instantly eased at this and he relaxed a little.

"Start packing anything you want to bring with you. I'll go take care of Big Mom and then you're both coming with us. Brulee after you take the others to the ship you're free to do what you wish…but you should get anything you want to keep with you packed as well." Luffy said without looking at them as he kept gently smoothing down his cooks hair and then pulled back.

Sanji's face instantly fell back into a sad look, looking like a lost child, but Luffy reached up and took off his Straw Hat.

"Yes Captain." Brulee said softly from where she was already helping her little sister pack while Pudding was surprised but understood. After all the man had accepted her and all three of her eyes without a second glance, for her older sister who was shunned by a lot of people (even some of their own family although it was exclusively the younger ones like that brat Flambe) simply for her scar and the mask she presented to try and protect herself…for her sister who had been shunned and ostracized by many before Pudding was even born?

She could only imagine how her sister must feel to be accepted scar and all by someone other than the family for once.

"You should have known better Sanji. This isn't the first time someone's done this after all…" Luffy said and he gave his cook a soft gentle smile as he took off his straw hat and then settled it on Sanji's chest.

Sanji's lost and broken look immediately melted into a relieved and happy one as he curled protectively around the hat, unaware of what was going on or how it was possible but somehow inexplicably knowing that his Captain was here and Sanji was going to be going home.

With a final small smile at Sanji and then giving Pudding a nod, Luffy walked back to the mirror where Nami was waiting and Brulee immediately followed behind him.

"Now where's Big Mom?" Luffy asked looking at his navigator who gave him a grim smile, knowing exactly what was going to happen and nodding her head.

It was time for her to guide him to the enemy and let him loose on the person who dared steal one of theirs and think she could keep him.

'Big Mom is going down tonight.' Nami knew it was going to happen. After all she had seen Luffy do the impossible many times before, what was a mere Yonko to the future Pirate King?

Absolutely nothing.

"Follow me." Nami said and she turned to lead them through the mirrors again, this time following the innate sense she had for telling where danger was. Which was almost always right where they were going to either be going or needed to be.

Brulee and Luffy followed her, not a word shared between them as the tall mirror witch fell in line with her captain like all of the Straw Hats had done before.

Nami smiled slightly. They were going to be leaving Whole Cake Island with two more women on the crew, good. Perhaps the two women would be more sane and capable of keeping the guys from doing something reckless and crazy?

'Coming from the one who helped her captain infiltrate a Yonko's home base and caused a good bit of chaos and damage herself and was now letting her Captain loose to destroy the Yonko?' A traitorous little voice pointed out Nami's only reckless and crazy actions until her Devotion To Luffy shot it dead.

After all she had to help her crew and Captain. Those idiots would get lost without her.
