One Piece Emperors New Clothes

"Mama is right through that door. Here. Take this." Brulee said taking something out from under her dress and handing it to Luffy after having dropped Nami off back at the Wedding Venue so she could help Chopper and the others get ready to transport them to the ship.

Taking the offered slip of paper Luffy noticed that it had Brulee's name on it and he glanced at her.

"It's a piece of Mama's…Big Mom's vivre card. Each of her children have one. It'll keep the homies or Chess Peacekeepers from getting in your way." Brulee said and Luffy nodded once as he put it on his belt.

"I think this goes without saying…but Big Mom is a different monster than you're used to fighting. Be careful Captain." Brulee said and Luffy merely nodded again as he turned towards the mirror.

"Good hunting." Brulee said softly as she opened the portal and let Luffy out before she turned around to go and pack her bag. Then she'd grab the others and get them to the Sunny so that they'd be ready to go as soon as her captain was done winning. She just hoped that none of her siblings got in the way and got hurt.

As soon as Luffy walked towards the door Brulee pointed him to, he noticed a tall man standing in front wearing a leather jacket. Not that he cared. After all this man wasn't his target.

Katakuri, for his part, was standing outside while Jimbe talked with Big Mom. He knew the man was likely going to leave their service, and Jimbe was a good man. Katakuri would hate to see him struck down and so he stood here and guarded the door.

Hearing a noise and peeking into the future a bit caused him to look up and he tensed. In front of him, and how had the boy gotten there so quick?, was a gangly thing. Thin but with whipcord strength hidden behind fancy clothes. A black fedora sitting atop his head where a straw hat usually sat.

The boy, young man, was walking right towards Katakuri and made no move to slow down or alter his course.

Seeing into the future for but a moment, Katakuri blinked at the words he hadn't heard yet but the man was about to say.

"Move I have no fight with you." It took Katakuri a few seconds to realize that the young captain had spoken aloud and he blinked once before he looked at the boy baffled.

"What?" The confused question was out of his mouth before he could ever hope to stop it. The answer, what little he could see by peeking into the future, was just as baffling as the first one was.

"Pigtails would cry, so would Brulee. Pigtails cares about Sanji and the two of them are my nakama now. So move aside." Luffy said and he was standing right in front of Katakuri now, head tilted back to look at the older man who looked so confused and baffled now. Pigtails? Who…Pudding? And what did Brulee have to do with all this?

Ah he must have used her power over mirrors to get past the homies and peacekeepers on the lower floors. But what did he mean about the two of them being his nakama now?

"Why should I?" Katakuri asked and he tensed as if preparing himself to fight the captain in front of him. His breath was knocked out of him by the simple answer.

"I have business with Big Mom." Luffy said and then he just walked right past Katakuri and opened the doors while the man was frozen in shock and disbelief.

Every head turned towards the door as soon as it opened but it didn't bother him as he strode inside, spotting Jimbe kneeling as he returned the red sake cup to the large woman who must be Big Mom.

The Big Mom pirates looked baffled and disbelieving at his entrance while he strode forward and stopped just in front of Jimbe who stared at him wide eyed. While Luffy was completely calm and his signature hat was missing, Jimbe wasn't worried. After all Sanji was somewhere safe with a protector and now Jimbe was being reminded of his captains desperate run towards his brother two years ago.

"Oi." Luffy said and he stared straight at Big Mom ignoring or oblivious to the murmurs of the rest of the Charlottes in attendance.

"You're the one who stole my Cook right? And who's trying to take control of Fishman Island? You suck at that part by the way." Luffy said and his voice was calm and not raised in the least but it echoed throughout the room. Jimbe rose from where he had knelt without fear. After all his captain was here and was fearless which made sense.

His captain was going to be the Pirate King after all, so a mere Emperor? There was no way he or Jimbe would fear a mere Yonko.

"Oh!" Big Mom was arrogant and assured in her own power and believing that there was nothing Luffy could do to hurt her. After all many had tried and failed.

"Aren't you that cocky brat who said he'd kick my ass and make Fishman Island his territory? Come here to prostrate yourself and beg for my mercy? Ha! Like I'd ever give puny filth like you such a thing!" Big Mom laughed loudly but Luffy wasn't the least bit bothered by this as he stared at her coldly.

"I should be saying that to you…in fact…I'll give you only one chance to surrender. For the little attachment my new nakama still have to you, the small amount of love they carry for you. I grant you this one chance." Luffy said as his hat shaded his eyes and there was an uproar from the Charlotte children while Big Mom laughed.

"What an arrogant little worm! You die now Straw Hat!" Big Mom said roaring as she sent Zeus forward to slam him with lightning. Jimbe jumped back to get out of the way but Luffy stood unphased.

"There goes that one chance. Make peace with whatever god you might believe in." With that Luffy leapt at the woman and Big Mom, although surprised to see him unbothered, roared and attacked him in return.

Their wills clashed and thus the battle between two Conquerors began.
