He was beautiful when he was shirtless. Not that he wasn't perfect any other time, but it really helped when he was shirtless. The muscled lines of his abs, and well trained body. Sweat trailed down his chest as he trained, rolling past his abdomen, past his belly button, and down under his shorts. Nico's eyes followed the drops, watching as they dove into the unknown. Watching him train had become Nico's routine. Nico could watch the masterpiece that is his body. Hotter still is the reason that he's shirtless.
He had volunteered helping the younger campers with sword fighting. If that wasn't boyfriend material, then Nico didn't know what was. It was adorable, and hot to watch him interact with the kids. Nico had been the first kid he'd helped. Hell, ten-year-old Nico was adorable, but annoying. Always talking about Mythomagic, and asking the stupidest questions involving demigod powers. ''Can you surf?" Nico snorted remembering that particular question. Then he went back to watching. Sweat, abs, shoulders, tattoos.
Oh yes. He had many tattoos that Nico could study. Nico's favorite was the comic wave on his right shoulder. Or the crown on his back, right above his tanline. Yes, the crown fit him. He was a prince, literally and figuratively. Nico couldn't imagine ever thinking he was just a normal person. No, he was one of a kind. The one-in-a-lifetime kind of guy. Or one-in-a-few-millennia. You know, being the best sword-fighter in three hundred years and all. Which Nico thought was really hot.
The kid he had been sparring against lost, but instead of sulking, he grinned and asked what he did wrong, and how to improve it. Which was really mature, and dedicated. Nico was impressed, and he was too. He showed the kid the disarming technique that he had used on the smaller demigod. "This was the first thing my first sword instructor taught me. Before we spared, everyone dumped some water on their heads, so I thought, 'Hey I'm gonna do that too.' Turns out that I'm a son of Posiedon, so it gave me an unfair advantage. Like being in my first ever sword class didn't give me enough disadvantage on its own, right." He said, and Nico laughed to himself imagining it. And that led to more staring at the shirtlessness.
After he got done with sword practice, he walked over to where Nico was standing in the shadows. "Did you enjoy watching, babe?" "Mhh, Percy, I always do." "Yeah, I've noticed." He snorted. Nico smiled at his boyfriend, which was rare for all but Percy. "Let's get back to my cabin. Yeah?" Nico said, grabbing Percy's hand and shadow-traveling into the cabin of darkness.
