He wouldn't like me, would he?
Chapter 20: Crashing the wedding
All Might was more agitated than he was on the car ride to this place. Behind the huge door that was currently blocking his path was a wedding he did not like to happen. He couldn't wait to be told he could punch down that door and could crash the wedding. All Might usually was a very calm man, but thinking that his girlfriend would be stuck in a marriage she wasn't happy in infuriated him more than it should.
"Everything is clear. You can punch the door in, All Might.", Tsukauchi said. That's what he needed to hear. So All Might prepared to punch in he door.
"Whoever is against this union may speak now or forever hold your peace.", the priest said. Sakura wanted to say something but didn't. Just as the priest wanted to proceed, everyone in the chapel could hear a "Texas Smash" and could see that the door was broken down.
"Actually, I have something against that marriage.", All Might stated, standing in the door. Sakura just fell to her knees and started crying out of joy for seeing All Might. Drac and Bryan were irritated seeing the Symbol of Peace having punched down the door. All Might just walked into the old chapel, smiling and saying: "I hope I didn't scare anyone. I'm actually quite sad I didn't get an invitation to my girlfriend's wedding, so I decided to make a grant romantic gesture."
He pulled Sakura to her feet, looked her in the eyes and added: "If that's okay with you."
Sakura just started crying more and hugged All Might, who was a bit surprised but then returned the hug.
"I'm so glad that you're here, All Might!", Sakura let out under her sobs. All Might just tightened the hug a bit and stated: "I should have been here earlier. I'm so sorry."
"Don't be. It's not your fault.", Sakura said, burying her face in his chest. He couldn't bare to see her cry, no matter if it was his fault or not.
"TAKE YOUR HANDS OF HER! SHE IS MINE!", Drac practically yanked Sakura from All Might's arms, tightening his grip on her arm.
"Do you even know what love is?", All Might asked.
"Do you?", Bryan asked. He also had a crush on the bride All Might and Drac are arguing about, but it was a lost cause. He'd rather make her hate him.
"I have a better understanding of that than you do. At least, since I have known her.", All Might admitted. He didn't know much about love, but he was willing to learn with Sakura at his side.
"Hikari will not leave me again!", Drac said. Sakura looked at the man who kidnapped and forced her to marry him.
"Hikari? My mother has been dead for 10 years. She was killed. Didn't you know?", she replied, looking at the broken man.
"Surely you're joking, Hikari. Remember that we said we would marry?", Drac looked as crazy as some inmates of Tartarus.
"My mother has only seen you as a friend, Drac.", Sakura put a hand on his cheek. It was a bad move, because Drac just grabbed his bride and ran out the chapel.
"HELP ME! ALL MIGHT!", Sakura called out, trying to hold her boyfriend's hand, but failed.
"Sakura! Damn it!", All Might cursed before looking at the faces of the people in the chapel before running after the runaway couple, though it didn't take long for him to catch up with them, because the police has captured Drac as soon as he ran out.
"No, Hikari! You can't leave me again for a hero!", the man said squirming in his restraints. Sakura backed up horrified of him, bumping into All Might who just hugged her tightly.
"I thought I would lose you, darling", he said burying his hand in her hair, letting it flow from his fingers like a sea of black ink.
"Leave her alone, All Might! Hikari belongs to me!", Drac still struggled in the police restraints. Sakura turned to the broken man and sat down in the grass in front of him.
"Drac, my mom saw you as a friend. My dad didn't want her to see you because you were a bad influence. Also, my parents have been dead for 10 years now, they were killed by villains.", Sakura explained to the man who kidnapped her. Drac, however, didn't wanna believe her and snapped at All Might why he would take his love away from him, like Yamato did. Sakura jumped up and hid behind All Might.
"Listen here, Drac, right? This woman is not the woman you have an unhealthy obsession for. The woman you claim to love is gone. And if I find you trying to hurt Sakura ever again, I will make sure it will be the last time you ever did that!", All Might said, looking angry at the man on the ground. He then turned to Sakura, placing a hand on her cheek.
"Are you alright, Sakura?", he asked. Sakura just started crying again, hugging him tightly. To outsiders, this would look strange: A bride, crying into All Might's chest while the groom is on the ground in restraints.
"I'm so glad you came, All Might. I was so scared.", Sakura admitted. The large man just smiled, picking up the black-haired woman up bridal style and carried her to a police car.
"One day, I hope to carry you like this again.", All Might smiled, giving her a kiss on the forehead. He then sat her in the car and helped the police a bit more. While watching him, Sakura took of the veil and jewelry, as well as her gloves.
As soon as everything was wrapped up and only All Might, Sakura and Tsukauchi remained, All Might shifted into his true form, smiling at the woman in the wedding dress. He sat next to her on the back seat, grabbing her hand.
"Thank you again, Toshi. I was worried I wouldn't get to see you again.", Sakura said, entangling her fingers with his and laying her head on his shoulder. All Might had to blush, despite them being in a relationship. He was still a bit embarrassed when being so close to her.
"I just did what I had to. I just couldn't leave you alone. I couldn't bear the thought of you being with someone else.", he just replied, turning his head away a bit.
"Well, I didn't like the thought that it's not you marrying me.", Sakura stated, making the blond spit out a bit of blood in surprise.
"Don't get blood on the seats All Might. It's not easy to clean of.", Tsukauchi simply said before adding: "Where should I drop you two off?"
"Mind if I stay with you tonight?", Sakura requested, earning a simple 'not at all' from All Might, so they were dropped off at All Might's place.
Surprisingly, it looked pretty quaint, not elaborate at all.
"It's not as extravagant as I thought it would be.", Sakura said when she entered the apartment. All Might rubbed the back of his neck, stating: "Well, I don't need a lot of stuff. I was never a fan of extravagant stuff and all that."
Once both were inside and All Might closed the door, he immediately started to blush again, fidgeting with his fingers.
"Well, since you're gonna sleep here, I'll take the couch and you can have the b...", before he could finish that sentence, his lips were captured by hers, catching him by surprise. The initial moment left him in shock, but he soon leaned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist and back. As the kiss got more passionate they made their way to the bedroom, closing the door behind them.
