Hello, everyone! Here is the first chapter of Kuroko's World Adventure! Our 11 teenage students begin to learn about why they're summoned to the unknown world. Enjoy!

Chapter 1 - Gathering

"Siegfried…" Kuroko said.

"Where have I heard that name?" Takao asked.

"He's the hero who slew Fafnir in the old Norse myths." Midorima explained.

"You sure are smart, Midorima-cchi." Kise commented.

"So you think I'm that dumb to not know? Fool." Midorima explained.

"So mean!" Kise exclaimed.

"Both of you, be quiet." Akashi said, glaring at Kise and Midorima.

"Sorry…" Kise and Midorima said.

Siegfried chuckled, catching Kuroko's attention.

"Something funny?" Kuroko asked, out of curiosity.

"It feels similar… seeing you all haven't changed." Siegfried replied.

This got the Generation of Miracles and the others surprised.

"What do you mean *haven't changed*?" Kagami asked.

"We just met you and you already know us?" Himuro asked.

"I believe you all deserve an explanation. It can also help to the reason for you all being here." Siegfried explained.

"Now we're getting somewhere." Momoi said.

"To start… you're actually descendants of yourselves in this world." Siegfried explained.

In a matter of seconds, everyone had their minds blown in total shock.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Kagami, Kise, Aomine, Momoi, Takao, Himuro and Konori exclaimed in unison.

"Descendants…" Midorima said.

"Of ourselves…" Akashi said.

"In this world?" Kuroko asked.

"You're kidding, right?" Murasakibara asked, as the four who didn't yell were in shock themselves.

"Understandable if you all believe it full of nonsense." Siegfried commented.

"But first, why did those weapons come to you?" Siegfried asked.

Most of the teens looked to their respective weapons and saw strange sigils on each part of their own weapon, seeing it matches their own colors.

"Well, when those guys from earlier attempted to attack me and Konori… the sword just appeared on my back from out of nowhere and I grabbed it by instinct." Kagami explained, looking at his greatsword.

"Aren't you already full on instinct in that empty head of yours?" Aomine asked.

"Your head's no better." Kagami replied.

Aomine and Kagami glared at each other hard, until they were silenced by fierce glares from Akashi and Konori.

"Those weapons were once wielded by your descendants and had a unique signature created by magic." Siegfried explained.

"Once imprinted, those weapon are forever bound to their wielders right up to the next reincarnation." Siegfried continued.

"When you all came to this world by an unknown force, those weapons instantly recognized the reincarnated souls of their previous owners and appeared instantly." Siegfried finished.

"So we're… the descendants of ourselves in this world?" Momoi asked.

"Correct." Siegfried replied.

"This is really confusing now." Murasakibara said.

"But it still doesn't explain who brought us here." Himuro said.

"The villain responsible for bringing you here goes by the name of Alfred." Siegfried explained.

"Alfred?" Kise asked.

"A vile warlord of the Tuatha race, and enemy to the free people of Amalur." Siegfried explained.

"So we are in another world." Midorima said.

"Figures…" Takao muttered.

"So this 'Alfred' is responsible for bringing us her?" Akashi asked.

"Correct." Siegfried replied.

"Then we need to find him and fast." Konori said.

"You don't need to. I'm already here." A sinister voice said.

Everyone were startled by the voice and tired to find the source, to no avail.

Momoi suddenly felt a dark disturbance and was the first to see it.

"There! Towards eight o' clock!" Momoi hollered.

Everyone turned to the direction Momoi pointed towards, seeing a dark skinned humanoid-like creature dressed in a mixture of dark robes and metallic armor.

"I was wondering when the descendants of my old enemies would remember." The mysterious humanoid said.

"Alfred." Siegfried growled.

"That's him, huh?" Midorima asked, steadily drawing an arrow with his bow already armed.

"It seems your ancestors were foolish to pass onto children like you." Alfred explained.

"Well we don't know what you're talking about, pops. And we don't care when we take you down!" Aomine hollered, charging with axes in hand.

"Get him!" Kagami hollered, drawing his greatsword and following Aomine.

"Hey, wait!" Kise hollered.

"Stop!" Siegfried hollered.

Kagami and Aomine attempted to strike Alfred, but the mysterious Alfred drew a unique sword made of powerful metal with the standard features of any old sword with the hand guard designed like a diamond and colored bronze, blocked their weapons to the shock of the two "lights".

"So predictable." Alfred said.

Alfred charged his sword with a strange dark aura and blasted the two back.

"Kagami-kun! Aomine-kun!" Kuroko hollered.

"He knocked the two best basketball aces back just like that?!" Takao exclaimed.

"What is this guy?" Himuro asked.

"Alfred's more dangerous than you know! Don't charge in recklessly!" Siegfried hollered.

"As much as I want to destroy all of you again… my fellow brethren would want the honor of doing so." Alfred explained.

"Again?" Momoi asked.

"Fellow brethren?" Midorima asked.

Alfred generated strange power from his free palm and blasted Kuroko and the others, making them vanish.

Only a shocked Siegfried wasn't affected.

"Where did they go?!" Siegfried asked, in an angry manner.

"They're safe. For now." Alfred replied.

At the northeast area of the mountain area were Murasakibara and Himuro, having been brought there by Alfred for an unknown reason.

"If we get teleported for a third time, I'm gonna lose it." Murasakibara said, startling to lose his cool.

"I didn't think anything aside from losing and not having snacks would make you lose it, Atsushi." Himuro commented.

"Yeah, well… this day is just getting more annoying by the minute, Muro-chin." Murasakibara said.

"It's about to get even worse." A voice said.

The two Yosen players turned around to see a very tall Tuatha male (taller than even Murasakibara) dressed in the same armor as those Tuatha soldiers they fought earlier, but more sleek to match his fairly muscular physique, and wielding a very long dark metallic chain with a double edged blade hanging from the end that's laying on the ground.

"What the heck?" Murasakibara asked.

"This guy's taller than Atsushi! Almost over 7 feet!" Himuro thought.

"You haven't forgotten Arkos? Haven't you?" Arkos asked, which now confused Murasakibara and Himuro.

Near the northwest area of the mountain, Akashi, Midorima and Takao were confronted by an elderly Tuatha standing almost 6 feet wearing a more royal design of Tuatha armor with a cape, and wielding a metallic mace with tons of spikes sticking from the ball. He also sports a jagged white beard.

"This place shall be your grave, brats." The Tuatha elder said.

"And who are you to say?" Akashi asked.

"The wisest of the Tuathan race: Devon!" Devon replied.

"Wow… thinking highly of yourself, gramps?" Takao asked, trying not to laugh.

"Jokes will not save you. Fate's been already decided that I'm the victor." Devon explained.

"Fate? Don't kid yourself." Midorima said, adjusting his glasses.

"This battle will be decided by fate. But fate itself will be defined by the winner that fights for good." Midorima continued.

"What nonsense." Devon said.

"Shintaro is correct. Winners are everything, while the losers have no value." Akashi explained.

"But that's explained differently. Here and now… only the battle will decide who's the victor." Akashi continued, drawing his longsword beside him as the trio were getting ready to fight.

"Yikes!" Kise hollered, quickly dodging a bullet by jumping to the side.

"We sure got a troublesome pair, don't we?" Aomine asked, standing beside Kise as the two of them were on the southwest side fighting a Tuatha pair: a male and a female of average height wearing standard Tuatha armor, with the male wielding a bayonet-like weapon, while the female wielding a flail weapon consisting of the long, two-handed infantry kind with a cylindrical head and an extending strong strap.

"A troublesome pair that will be the end for you two." The male said.

"Couldn't agree more, Lucas." The female said.

"I know we're fighting a dude. But fighting girls isn't my thing." Kise explained.

"Yeah. Being a role model makes you too cautious to ever hit a lady." Aomine teased.

"Hey! At least I'm not a pervert who got kicked by a girl a few hours ago!" Kise exclaimed.

"HEY!" Aomine exclaimed, having a red tick mark on his forehead.

Aomine and Kise began arguing while Lucas and the female Tuatha, better known as Estelle, watched with deadpanned expressions.

Around the southeast side, Kagami was starting to get up.

"Dammit… this teleporting crap is getting old." Kagami said.

"Yeah… but can you like get off me?" Konori asked.

Kagami looked down to see he's leaning over a very flustered Konori.

Kagami quickly panicked and got himself off.

"S-Sorry…" Kagami said.

"No harm done." Konori said, wiping the dust off her while regaining her composure.

"Anyway, we need to find the others." Konori said.

"You two won't be doing anything." A voice said.

Kagami and Konori turned to see a tall, muscular Tuatha that's over 2 meters dressed in the same armor and wielding a halberd with the long pole colored black as night, the blade on both sides shaped like an axe with the point very sharp, and a small black cloth tied tight from the bottom.

"Who are you?" Kagami asked.

"I am Bask! And I am your death, you worms!" Bask replied.

Bask charged towards Kagami and Konori without mercy; Kagami and Konori prepared themselves for battle.

At the north end of the mountains, little close to the northwest side, Kuroko started to wake up.

Momoi started to wake up beside him.

"Are you alright?" Kuroko asked.

"Y-Yeah…" Momoi replied, blushing a little.

"Wait… what's this warm feeling on my hand?" Momoi thought.

The Tōō manager looked down to see her right hand on Kuroko's left hand, quickly releasing her hand on his and got up in a hurry.

"Momoi-san?" Kuroko asked.

"I-I'm fine!" Momoi replied.

Outside she tried to act normal, but inside she was gushing like crazy.

Kuroko suddenly felt a strange disturbance, and saw some kind of slash propelling towards Momoi.

In a quick act, he tackled himself and Momoi to the ground to dodge the projectile slash attack that cleanly sliced a large rock in two.

"Appears you've noticed? Guess you have a sharp eye, Kuroko." A voice commented.

Kuroko and Momoi looked to their right to see the being responsible for the surprise attack: a tall and well-built male Tuatha dressed in more royal Tuatha armor with a tattered black cape, and wielding a pair of black and red grim-looking longswords with jagged handguards.

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?" Kuroko asked.

"My name is Gadflow. Leader of the Dark Order." Gadflow replied.

"Dark Order?" Kuroko and Momoi thought in unison.

Enemies appearing on multiple fronts! How will our basketball teens accomplish victory?!

Next time: Chapter 2 - Combat on All Sides!

First chapter done, and now the Generation of Miracles and their allies must content with the Dark Order, Alfred's mightiest generals of the Tuatha army!

The Tuatha and Amalur are solely based of the 2012 video game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and in fact, I got the Nintendo Switch version of "Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning" that got released this year, a few months ago and completed the game within a whole month! Wasn't easy and a bit complicated, but pulled through against all odds!
